We used to live 2 streets from this bakery and it was our Saturday tradition to walk down to get our traditional banh mis or crispy pork banh mis for lunch. Best banh mis on the Northside of Brisbane! Loveliest family that run the place always smiling and attentive. The baked sweets and savoury are delish and fresh too. We now live 30 mins away and will still make the trek to this little gem. Please never close we love your business!

Not the friendliest service. No labels to say which pie is what. I asked what is in the vegetable pie and I was replied with 'vegetables' I mean, duh. I got two sausage rolls and both were dry, and doughy tasting. The coffee however was good. The store presentation looks a bit run down, accumulated dust was very noticeable. I probably won't be back.

Nice fresh ham and salad sandwich. This is your garden-variety Viet-owned local bakery done well, the bread is fresh and the standard bakery fare is also fresh. I got a mini sausage roll and also the aforementioned sandwich. The salads on the sandwich were fresh. Plenty of drinks in the fridge, thriving plants in the shop, friendly staff. Love the vibe of this place. 10/10 would go back again.

I'm a Community Nurse and had stopped here to buy lunch. The machine wasn't working and I didn't have cash on me. The gorgeous lady working there said she could see I was hungry, so just to pay next time I was in the area. Such a lovely thing to do. The crispy pork roll is one of the best I've eaten. Great food and kind staff. Who can ask for more!

OMG!! Think comfort food at amazing prices and service from the friendliest people. Mini cream buns so fluffy and soft with a dollop of jam and plenty of sweet mock cream, sold in a twin pack for $2.50, perfect for sharing over a cuppa. Bread is just as amazing, obviously made with care and passion. Always worth a visit

Absolutely fantastic bakery. Prices are fair, and food really good. I visit a lot of bakeries but I'm glad I stopped in here. The bacon egg quiche amazing filling and the best pastry. Wow!!

The pies these lovely people make are amazing. I love the Steak and Kidney pie, but absolutely love the Satay Chicken Pie. Amazing taste with the right amount of filling. Keep it up ❤️

I lived near this bakery for a while and ate the pies here often. The pie pasty leans towards a soft, dense texture. The pies are on the smaller side, but overall taste good.

I needed bread on the public and called everywhere. Wavell hot bread stayed open past close time just for me so I could collect 2 loaves. So grateful !! THANK YOU
