I brought my Shih Tzu (Tilly) here a couple of weeks ago & we saw the vet Alex. He took bloods, checked her over & put me at ease with every question I asked. He then booked me in for a couple of hours later to discuss her results. I felt like he cared, had compassion & knew exactly what he was talking about. I am so pleased she is under these vets now. Since then, I have brought Tilly back & she has seen the vet Louise. Louise is very thorough & knows her stuff. She has treated my vet brilliantly & is such a nice person too. White cross vets...you are amazing! I’m so glad that Tilly is under your care. My German Shepherd Nahla has been coming to White Cross since she was 8 weeks old. Each and every member of staff has been fantastic during her care. She has been several times due to issues with her legs, so we are familiar with the staff and she feels confident going in each visit. She does not hesitate and she trusts staff so will just happily sit or lay down and let them do their job. They are very calm and do not hesitate, even with the jumpiest of dogs. We have been to several vets with our dogs over the years and although Whitecross is further away than the rest for us, we honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. It is a pleasure to visit as they make the effort to get to know each and every pet, so you and your pet are always greeted and treated with a smile.

Twice in the last 4 weeks I have not been able to get treatment for my dog as there was no vet available. Told to go to another vet but none would see her as we were not registered with them. Had to wait 4 days to get my dog seen to who was passing blood. They then gave antibiotics and asked was she insured. When I said yes they said to have other tests done for kidneys etc before even seeing if the antibiotics had worked. Felt like this was just to get more money. They made an appt to see her the next day with a new water sample. They called us that morning to say there was no vet available again so no appointments could be done. 3 times in 4 weeks that I know of there was no vet available. The service is bad and my poor dog was left in terrible pain.

Unfortunately 1 of our cat's had become seriously ill. The vet we saw took great care in trying to find any treatment but there wasn't any and he took the time & care to explain what was best for her. We have 2 cat's now 1 is the brother and our Husky and the vet explained that they can miss our girl as much as we will and what may help with our loss going forward. All 3 cat's & Husky have never had any problems when visiting previously, cat's where always calm & Husky loves the fuss so saying thank you to them for the understanding & care given to us at this really difficult time deserves more than 5 stars.

Fantastic Vets, the front desk staff where very welcoming and understanding when I was five minutes late due to traffic, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and extremely clean! My French bulldog puppy was having his second vaccination, it was administered by the very kind and knowledgeable, Alex, he did such a great job at keeping my Fletcher calm and worked quickly, but thoroughly to cause the least amount of distress, and when it came to asking and answering questions he was happy to talk me through everthing. I couldn't be more grateful for the 5 star service I received! Highly recommended! Thank you!

We love white cross vets! Take my 4 bichons here quite a bit for check ups and flea/wormer. We are in the wellness plan and it is such good value for money. We have never found that they only care about money, in fact quite the opposite. We have seen all the vets there and never had any issues. Receptionist, nurses and vets are all very welcoming and polite, we're just waiting for a cup of tea next time we arrive ;) My lot hate going to the vet, as most do, but the lovely team here work hard at getting my babies to trust them. Would never use another vet again :)

3.5 years ago this vets (Amber) told me to put my beautiful dog to sleep. I took the decision to fight for her and told them I wanted to try treatment. I was judged, looked down on and told I was not being fair. Happy to report my lovely girl has had a wonderful healthy 3.5 years and is in perfect health. Thankfully I did not listen to the obscene advice of this vet. They only care about money. One time my other dog had gastro (confirmed by a second vet). This vet had me down the path of brain scans and crazy treatments! Avoid if you love your pet

In 2 years, I have seen some lovely vets at this practice. However on my last 2 visits, the same vet has shown a distinct lack of respect, toward myself and my daughter. On my recent visit, I was told that, as my dog had improved a bit, I should have cancelled my appointment, even though he is still not well. I stood outside, as requested, in the marked place and wearing a face mask. Yet was told, with a flick of the wrist to “move back”. The dog was on a 4ft lead. I paid £17.95 per month to be shown disrespect, so I will not be going back!!!

An amazing practice with an exceptional team. Always polite and eager to help with quick appointments, no delays and exceptional knowledge of your pet's care history. Showing genuine care and affection towards your pet as well as remembering the names and care history of your other pets too. It is obvious every member of staff loves their job and I wouldn't want to put the care of my pets into anyone else's hands. My 2 Labradors have been coming to White Cross Vets for over 5 years and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. All the staff really care about the animals they treat. The vets are always willing to have a chat on the phone with any concerns you have. The lovely ladies on reception are so kind and always go above and beyond which is lovely. We have been loyal customers for the last 6 years, but find it difficult when there is a continued crossover of vets that we see, (we have lost our regular vet twice) seeing different staff each visit. We are responsible dog owners & have the relevant medical protection & insurance. But when we are asked to repeat bloods that where a follow on from a yearly MOT but NOT told we would be liable to pay extra for these we were not really happy about this.

Vet was ok, but kept me waiting for 30+ minutes with a clearly very distressed dog from my scheduled appointment time. Added to that is don't ring them. I called them at 8.30am when the store opens and I was left on hold for over 45 minutes! Then when I got through, they hung up on me! This place is a joke. Infuriating! Why it isn't open Sunday's either is also very bad service. How are working people supposed to get their pets seen to?

I would like to highly recommend the monthly fee that cover consults, flea treatment , worker and health checks. Today my little girl went in for the day for a full mot. Everything was fine. I have another dog in a different vet plen and if they done the health check like whitecross he would of been diagnosed with a problem many years ago. Please check this package out as it’s great and you don’t have to worry about your little ones.

Take my two pomeranians here cannot fault this vets staff are 100% dedicated to helping your pets and giving your peace of mind. Been coming here around 3 years now befor that my little girl hated the sight of vets and would shake with fear here she doesn't do all the shaking. We had cause to be at the vet this week with our dog (Maggi) the vet gave her a good exam and then proceeded to explain all options to us. We have seen this vet before she is a lovely person very caring with Maggi. I love the fact that she goes into detail to make sure we get the right treatment for our beloved dog. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. Would happily recommend them to family and friends.

Staff are great. Never needed a vet before but have 2 rabbits and didn't want anymore. Prices were better than any other i have seen but on top of that the staff were really attentive and seemed really interested in rabbits welfare (I know they should be but then all doctors should care about their patients and i'm not sure they do). Anyway, reaply good experience and would recommend them to friends and family

Customer service none existent. No care of pet owner concerns. 10 minutes late for appointment(5 of which attempting to park due to no parking) to be told that is "not their fault" and this after waiting a month for an appointment. Apparently so fully booked they were unable to see me so another appointment required and a dog with overdue boosters. Totally unacceptable, I will not be returning.

Only visited 4 times with my new puppy staff are really friendly they was recommended by a family member and so far we'll happy with the service they provide. I feel confident they have my dogs welfare as there top priority that's what pet owners want for there animals. I have joined there care plan for my puppy which seems good value for money and feel my puppy is in safe hands.

Amazing 5* was great taking care of my cat during these covid times. I had to drop him off at the door slightly inside for the vet to come out and get him then wait in my car why he had his check up. They where professional and really lovely people explained everything & prices and didn't push anything on me. Great service and they sorted my cats issue out thanks so much :) 5*

I fully recommend white cross vets West Derby to any caring pet owner. They have fantastic staff who are always there to offer advice and also listen intently to any of there pet owners worries. The medical team are outstanding and very professional I think you would find it very hard to find any better. An awesome team that provide a fantastic service.

I’ve had experiences with other vets but Whitecross west derby really do go above and beyond, they are the best I’ve dealt with. We have lots of ongoing care from them and they have been brilliant. I would recommend their health plan as well, saves lots of money in the long run if your pet is a regular visitor to the vet like ours is.

Excellent Vets, they really care about your pet and are alway great for advice over the phone. We’ve got a Frenchie with a fair few health problems and everyone at White Cross from reception to nurses to vets have been brilliant from day 1. We transferred over from Medivet last year, best thing we ever did!
