Sebastian is an absolute professional and very knowledgeable about everything jewelry related. He was very accommodating when discussing meeting times and always made sure to let me know that my business and my time were very important to him. When discussing budget, he was extremely helpful in discussing options and making sure that my needs would be met or exceeded but my budget would not be compromised. He was also able to be flexible and work with me on price, which is something that was much appreciated. Another important part of his business is that he has GIA credentials and is able to provide certificates and documentation that certify his materials. I received a GIA certificate of the diamond that I purchased as well as appraisals of both the loose diamond and the ring. Sebastian is willing to go above and beyond to give the best possible experience in buying an engagement ring, and I highly endorse his means and methods. The back-story: My girlfriend fell in love with a ring at a retail store when I took her looking to get an idea of what she would like. I wanted to get an idea of ring styles she preferred and to give her the experience of trying them on. While my girlfriend had fun, I personally did not have a good experience at most of these retail stores, as I always felt pressured to buy immediately (even when I told them that I would not purchase anything on the same day while she was there, as I wanted what she got to be a surprise) and felt that I was being brushed off by the staff when I told them my budget. I have a basic understanding of the industry and know that there is a large amount of markup at major retail stores, and had no intention of buying from there. I took a bunch of pictures of the ring that she loved, and went about searching for a smaller business to go about making my purchase. After doing some research of jewelry stores in the area, I ended up setting up a meeting with Sebastian. Though he did not have the exact type of ring that I was looking for, he was able to help me create the exact ring that she wanted by custom making it for me. I was able to show him the pictures, and he assured me that his in-house manufacturer could custom make it. He was also very good at helping me find a diamond that met the specifications that I had laid out, and got me something at a reasonable price that exceeded my expectations. He got a wax mold from his manufacturer of the ring we designed based on the original, and we were able to examine it and make tweaks before the OK was given to have it cast. From start to finish, it was a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend going to Sebastian if you want a personal and flexible experience.

Simple words cannot describe our experience with Sebastian, but I will try. As a young couple with no knowledge/experience with jewelry, he not only gave us the exact ring we wanted but was able to also educate us and provide EXPERT advice. Normally I don't do reviews, but when someone goes above and beyond they deserve recognition. I picked out my dream wedding ring solitaire mounting from this jewelers collection. You literally can not buy it anywhere else without a diamond already mounted in it, but I found it here and... I bet if he didn't have it he would have found it for me. One problem, it needed to be tweaked in order for my diamond that I already had to fit. He let me know they do all their own jewelry work and he could make it happen for me. I was skeptical to say the least as I am a perfectionist when it comes to something like this. I was worried about compromising the look of the high quality designer mount. This jeweler assured me he could make the adjustments and the ring would look exactly the same...my thoughts...no way...all the fine details that make this ring's quality will be lost. It's really hard to find someone that knows anything about higher end jewelry unless they work for that specific high end jewelry company. Well boy was I wrong! He got the dimensions for my diamond, reconstructed the ring and it is PERFECT!!!! He updated me along the way and even finished it early to surprise me!! The customer service I received was like no other. He was so patient with my doubts and questions. Little did I know he was a genius with high end designer jewelry reconstruction. I actually feel silly now questioning him like he was an amateur and showing him pictures of something he was more familiar with than me. Customer service and skills like this do not exist anymore. I wanted to share an experience I had with the Williams and Sons Fine Jewellers in Carmel Valley at Del Mar Highlands Town Center. I brought my Bell and Ross BR03 Aviator Watch into Sebastian Rajabi to install a new battery. Sebastian had never seen my watch before as it was custom made for the airline that I fly for and was a limited edition. It obviously had a lot of sentimental value to me and I wanted to make sure that it was given the care that such a watch deserves. Upon installing the battery successfully the crown appeared to not activate the digital section of the watch and I could not use it. Of course I was very concerned that the crown did not work. Sebastian agreed to cover any damage that he may have caused to the watch. I then sent the watch to one of two Bell and Ross certified watch repairmen in the U.S.(L.A. and Florida). It cost me $58 more (FEDEX) for my trouble and they were able to sort the problem at no charge. What I really appreciated about Sebastian and Williams and Sons, is that they picked up the charges for the transport fedex to and from the certified Bell and Ross watch repairman. As the crown is quite a complicated part of this watch, it would be easy for someone not trained on Bell and Ross watches to install the crown incorrectly. I really appreciate the attention, professionalism and integrity that Sebastian exercised in making me whole for my troubles. I will continue to be a client and I can vouch for Sebastian's professionalism. Thank you Sebastian. Dave

Sebastian was absolutely amazing, he went above and beyond to make sure we were getting exactly what we envisioned. I first came to Sebastian with no idea what I was doing in looking for an engagement ring and with a short time frame of when I needed it. He explained to me in detail all the intricacies of what makes a quality diamond and how different characteristics of the gem, setting, and metal impact the cost of a ring. He worked patiently and was never pushy in trying to up-sell or hurry me while I was viewing designs. Once I settled on a design and price point that matched exactly what I wanted, he bent over backwards to help me get the ring in time. Sebastian was also extremely transparent in the ring making process, showing me the engraved serial number on the diamond before and after being set, then gave me a certificate of authenticity with a matching serial number. My wife and I came back a year or so later to have custom wedding bands made to fit her ring. Sebastian was once again extremely patient and accommodating. He gave us tons of advice on what approaches we could take and worked within our price point. We left both times extremely satisfied with what we purchased. We came to Sebastian with a big, unclear vision for a custom wedding ring and a 5 week turnaround timeline. He treated us with the utmost professionalism and kindness from day 1, communicating well and making it clear that he was there to leave us with a family heirloom that we would treasure for generations to come and wouldn't settle for anything less. Like any big decision in life, finding Sebastian took a lot of research and lots of review reading from many different yelp pages! Buying a wedding ring is obviously a huge step, and I didn't want to feel rushed or have that feeling of being "sold" something I really didn't want. Also, I'm very skeptical of most things in life, so I'm glad after reading reviews on this page that some of you are just as skeptical lol !! There are many great reasons to buy from Sebastian, but the reason why I will recommend him is he took the time to really listen to what I wanted. I didn't feel rushed, I felt like he was really invested into making my ring the best he could within my budget. If you are reading this and wondering should you visit him, yes you should. He doesn't have a store front, so the ambiance is different from the get go. You go into his office and can relax and tell him what you want and how he can make your vision happen. Parham Sebastian, after dealing with you personally I am not surprised that you would threaten me with a law suit for sharing my opinions of your store. *You seem to attack customers who leave poor reviews* Buyer beware. Husband bought an item from the owner, Parham Sebastian. At home I noticed it was uneven and defective. We went to the store and tried to return the item 3 weeks later (not one month later) He closed his store right after purchase for about 10 days and while the store was still closed we had to travel out of the state, otherwise we would've gone back to the store right away. I showed Parham Sebastian what the problem was and asked for a refund but he refused to provide a refund for the defective jewelry because his policy is all sales final (even for defective items) (implied warranty - No) We are now stuck with the defective jewelry. Unpleasant experience. Will never recommend to friends and family!! *As sad as it will make all my friends and family feel, you have my word that I we will kindly never visit your store, since you so kindly asked. lol*

I recently went into Sebastian's store to inquire about getting my engagement ring reset. His designs are stunning and from what I can tell visually, the craftsmanship is top-notch. Sebastian himself is excellent to work with - polite, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and takes a lot of pride in his work. I have not yet decided what to do with my ring reset but I have seen his designs and work in store and they are stunning. I have had him work on a very special bracelet that was handed down to me from my grandmother. He did a wonderful job repairing and refurbishing the precious piece for me. His prices are reasonable and he is a pleasure to work with. I sent a friend to him who used him to repair her grandmother's platinum and diamond wedding set. He did a beautiful job and had it done quickly. She was very pleased. I'm so happy to have found a trustworthy talented jeweler that doesn't price-gouge with a Carmel Valley premium and is so dedicated to making his customers happy.

I had a great experience with Sebastian looking for an engagement ring and wedding bands for both myself and bride. Going into this, I only knew the basics of what I am looking for. Overall, I had a design in mind. Sebastian worked to deliver and design a product that was both quality jewelry and within the price range of what I was willing to spend. I like that Sebastian is knowledgeable about his craft and has quality diamonds. I personally preferred a smaller diamond, but better quality than big, lousy quality. I can not sing enough praises to Sebastian at William and Sons Fine Jeweler! I cannot thank Sebastian enough. To be honest when I walked into the store I didn’t look like I belonged in a jewelers—-more like a quick run to the grocers on the morning after. Knowledgeable and personal experience. I worked with Sebastian (a certified gemologist and part owner of the store) who hand selected the diamonds for the shop. Sebastian hit on my daughter, saying he'd like to observe her play video games with him. Offered his laptop, to be able to game together. He asked if she lived by Barona. He asked where She worked. She went in to sell rings and she told me if he hadn't been holding her Driver's license as ID to sell the jewelery, she'd have left much sooner. He creeped her out. All of this had to have been recorded on some security cameras in the store, so others would know.
