"Kate and Lorna the manager ruined our Winners experience"
"This Winners, located on the PATH in Scotia Plaza, used to be my go to when I worked downtown, but the pandemic has definitely meant the stock here is neglected and the selection suffers"
"I find this store at the subway to be more convenient"
"Their customer service is pathetic"
"2018 update: this review was for the winners at York and lakeshore"
Kate and Lorna the manager ruined our Winners experience. We were going to return couple of items then Kate said: " Well... if you don't have the tags will be impossible to return it" I said , i do have the receipt... she raise her voice again saying no tags no returns... oh my ... Then Lorna came and said, i offer you a 16 $ for the pair of shoes even though you paid more... The worst customer service ever in the history of Winners. If a customer don't have the tag you don't raise your voice to them ever. How you ever think to treat people/ customer's like this ??? Are these employees trained properly and told how to treat the customer's in a respectful manner??? A guest service employee who deals with people should be humble , respectful and kind... not like this... Winners CEO or whoever is in charge with employees training, please train your team properly. That's all I have to say.
This Winners, located on the PATH in Scotia Plaza, used to be my go to when I worked downtown, but the pandemic has definitely meant the stock here is neglected and the selection suffers. I’ve gravitated toward the larger Winners at St Lawrence. Maybe when the pandemic ends they’ll place more emphasis on this one, but for now, the limited foot traffic and reduced office workers in the area means this location isn’t yielding the great finds and selection it once did . Will check back in 6 months and see if we can get up a star
I find this store at the subway to be more convenient. The clearance sales is good over here compared to other winners branch. Though the store space is small I felt all my demands are full filled. The jewelry section may appear dull, but trust me this branch has got good silver collections. They sell genuine opal, zircon, pearl and good quality of gold. I love the pearl collections they have. What is best in this store - women shoes, clutches, handbags, purses, jewelry and good official wear dresses.
Their customer service is pathetic. Bought a headphone that didn't work properly. Went back a week later to do an exchange. I didn't have my receipt but I did have my credit card statement and the credit card it was purchased on. However, they wanted to see my driver's licence to process a refund of $7.99. This is the exact reason why American business continue to out perform us. Customer Service at this Winners location is non existent. Poor client experience. Will never shop here again.
2018 update: this review was for the winners at York and lakeshore. This is a typical Winners. The inventory is good, especially as it is still a new store. It is pretty busy at most times of the day during the week. This location really needed this store and it fits in very well with the area. As is usual with Winner's, the line ups can be long during busy periods. The store can also get crowded during peak times as well. Overall, a solid start.
It is a small location, however, it is a life saver when you need a last-minute gift or clothes. As this one is in downtown Toronto, you'll find more variety of formal / professional attire. You might also find a good selection of home items (similar to Home Sense) and brand names at good prices, there is always something to walk out in your hands. The cashiers are the most lovely of all the Winners locations I have visited.
This particular winners has a great selection of high end items as it services the Toronto Path (Financial District). This Christmas, I found Philosophy bubble bath, necklaces (Van Cleef & Arpels Dupes), an actual Gucci watch and YSL cardholders and wallets for men. Things are grabbed quickly so if you see something you like, go for it right away. Product turnover is HIGH. Service is generally quick. Bring your own bags.
Small store. People were friendly but store was to messy, most of clothes on the floor and took me time to find someone to help me. People were so nice if u were able to find them. In other hand I am lucky to find the shoes size that I was looking for long time. I am winners shopper and most of my shopping day I am at winners and usually the size and style I can’t find anywhere I find it here.
Owned by TJX was so happy to find this gem and loved the prices. Found a coat which was needed since it was cold and didnt plan for the weather like I needed too. But since I'm a tj maxx and Marshall's shopper this was a cool place had shoes and brands from Italy I cant find in the states, or at least in California. People are nice and cashier was super friendly.
It was my first time visiting this store as we had a Christmas party abandoned had to get a gift from here but tbh there was nothing good there when it comes to the Christmas gift boxes. Overall the store is okay, but it's a bit low on stock as compared to stores in Mississauga and Etobicoke. Location is nice and right in the heart of downtown.
I like this particular Winners store because it can be reached by Path. Also they often have good clothes and shoes for very reasonable price. For example I had bought winter parka of very good quality for just 180 CAD. So I am checking the store regularly for good deals. Cashier lines are fast moving too. Least busy time is before noon
Went to this store to buy a Fathers Day present. Proceeded to the Cashier to pay but there's only one lady doing the cash helping other customers. There was a guy in the Cash area and asked him if he can open to pay the merchandise. He flatly say !!NO!! what a great customer service and attitude. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE!!
My go-to Winners within the PATH. Great selection for men's clothing, bags, and shoes. Try to avoid lunch hour during the week as it gets busy. Shelves are organized and restocked regularly. Have seen great finds like Ray Bans sunglasses. Highly recommended. This store has two floors that does not appear to be wheelchair accessible.
Like most Winners, it's the luck of the draw to find what you need. I did find a pair of shoes I needed, but didn't exactly have any options: just one pair in my size. The hours are a little inconvenient; wish it was open a little later. The address is also a little confusing because the entrance is actually on Adelaide.
I love finding a little hidden gem every now & then at Winners. I was lucky enough to find a beautiful Badglay Mischka Winter Coat with Pearl's on the top portion of the coat for less than $100. I've received so many compliments when I wear it. It's one of my favorite items in my closet.
Got a top from a local fried to try this place as I needed new pants. Still not quite sure what kind of store it is. Sort of outlet store? Anyway, got what I consider a great deal out of it, so I'm really pleased. I do recommend this if you're looking for cheap, good stuff
One of the best Winners stores around Toronto, the obvious reason being it's located in the heart of Downtown. It has the best picks, stock is always flowing. Expect the place to be a little bit crowded and warmer than normal. Keep you jackets away while shopping :)
Handy for when you need something to do at work during a break or something needs replaced for a meeting. The store is smaller than a suburban winners but has enough to get you out of a problem but don't expect to find a crazy deal or something super discounted.
Making the most of a small irregular space; this Winners carries a good selection with prices you expect from the chain. The sales staff are friendly, and more helpful than that of the "higher value" chains. Word of warning: not very wheelchair friendly layout.
Good for shopping but not for all locations. Some location is very good and some are just bad just for customer representative. All brand , brand new products are very cheap price, that's why affordable for everyone to shopping. Overall Winner is good. Thanks.
A busy location. A wide range of office wear and undergarments for both male and female. Not much of a shoe selection but decent enough to find office wear in a pinch. The men's section has a wide variety of work wear if you are looking for men's clothing.
Good location. Accessible through the PATH and at street level. I have shopped here several times over the years and this time around I found the place to be a bit disappointing. The selection was low and the place was a bit disorganized.
Jewellery Dept is a good choice for watches and all kinda jewelries. Too bad can't find the fresh water black pearls necklace. It's a busy place, must avoid the lunch hours during weekdays. Most of the staffs there are helpful.
It seems to have amazing steals everytime I go here . Nd the prices are let's good. You could buy something from 2.99 to 150 maybe more and totally love it and also get similar items in different price ranges.. love the place.
I love Winners! I can walk in and go directly to my size which is quickly identified. And i love it that there are so many choices. Great customer service! I walked in and got what i wanted in under 10 minutes!! Beautiful!
Nice store! Beautiful things and unbeatable prices!! Before going to other stores, first look for your item at Winners! The same sandals that I saw in Winners in a well-known sports store, they cost twice as much!! ****
I really enjoy shopping at this location it's such a convenience for me. Friendly staff and the clothing selections is good. I recommend shopping here, there's a food court, Shoppers Drugmart and other places too.
Had an over charge on my receipt and called to speak with the manager. Laura was very respectful and communicative with me. Mistakes happen and she handled fixing it correctly. Appreciated this experience!
You have to go often, as there is always new stock. This store has the friendliest staff, especially at the change rooms where I had a lovely conversation with the associate about quality of fabrics.
Lots of good product but a little disappointed when I look at a purse/wallet that has its original tag with a price of $26.99 and the the winners price tag of $49.99 that’s harsh winners do better
Love this place! You can literally buy anything here from essential oils to swimming goggles to winter shoes and so so much more! The prices are unbeatable - I could shop here all day every day.
This is a convenient location for those using TTC, right at the College subway station. The store is large with a variety of items. Friendly staff and customer service.
Found some great clothes for my winter work wardrobe! Thanks for all the help Sara H from the fitting room. Super nice and helpful if you ever need a second opinion.
Fantastic selection of accessories l always find what l want friendly cashiers and very helpful staff l always go to it when l am looking for bargains will be back
Winners located downtown Toronto is a 2 level store. Very small space compared to other winners. Small selection of clothing and accessories available here.
Terrible service. The fitting room clerk is rude and wanted to close up at 630 when closing time is 7. Example of everything wrong with Canadian retail!!!!
So spacious and a bigger store in Toronto downtown. Loved the collections here. Cannot beat the price. It’s great …
I love winners. You can find nice clothing for great prices. Just hunt around the store a bit. You will find a treasure!!
Good selection of men’s wear. I got a nice MK leather motto jacket in the fall for 50% less than I would at the store.
I can find what I'm looking for usually. Just look at the price, not both prices. Ask yourself is it worth the cost.
This winners is located on Adelaide Street West. Everything is 60% off. I could find the stuff I was looking for.
Great store. Customer service is awesome. Kate, Tania, Sara… always friendly and super helpful!
Clean, clear, well organized store, opens at 8am with not many clients in the store yet.
The manager is completely rude and disrespectful. Customer service is terrible.
It's collection is bit more formal, I specifically looked at the handbags
I really like Winners I always find what I'm looking for at a fare price.
Cant beat winners downtown Toronto for prices and variety
A great dinner. Wonderful staff and superb food
Not a great selection.
