Location This Winners is tucked away on the 2nd floor of One York building. It is connected with the PATH. Lots nearby constructions inconvenienced the trip there but hopefully it will become more accessible when constructions completes. It is close to the waterfront so it makes a nice shopping stop when strolling by the waters on a weekend afternoon. Environment A decent sized Winners. It has everything from beauty to home department. Things were neat and organized. Price As with other TJX family chains, the price is discounted and affordable compared to regular department stores. Would I return? Yes.
Usually I do not like to submit reviews but today I had a very bad experience with a return. Today with the cashier 1, 30 minutes ago, I tried to return a dress that did not fit me well, the dress has labels and with my original receipt. She refused to process my return and she claimed that I need to go to the original store where I purchased, located very far away, never in my time to be client of winners had a similar situation. It was a 30 dlls return. I was in the mood to return and purchase another things this situation discouraged me to purchase more things. Worst service ever
I got in and out of the store in 20 minutes. No wait at the cash. Friendly cashiers. The store was a bit messy but I'll bet it was busy all day with office workers sneaking in to make purchases throughout the day. Several staff were working just to get the store back to normal and put the stock back in place. Otherwise fairly easy to navigate. Couldn't find everything I needed though but that's typical of Winners they want you to come back another day
The winners is located on the second floor of One York building and has amazing views of downtown. The 3rd floor has a terrace which has even better views. The store itself is great with a wide selection but nothing different than other good winners. I've been to Winners in many different cities in the past few weeks and for the most part all of them have the same merchandise. However at a few stores I have found gems lol but that's rare.
I always seem to find good shoes here. My feet are massive (12 women's) and most stores don't carry my size in Canada but the odd time Winners pulls through. Avoid lunch hour when all the corporate people on their lunch break are rushing around trying to find a last minute gift for their co workers birthday they forgot about. I'm serious, lunch time on weekdays is not a time to be in that vicinity. I am said corporate person.
November 2021 3★ Located within the second floor of the One York building, this Winners is conveniently located at the heart of the waterfront.. connected to the PATH network of walkways for those who want to stay inside during the winter months. This location has 2 entrances that wrap around another store. Fairly large footprint given the location, yet small compared to other store locations. Overall ok.
Extremely not organized. The store is cluttered. Staff are not there to help you, or make sales. I walked in, stood by the counter, looking at thousand dollar watches. The staff member looked at me, and then just walked away. Seems to be that way in all their stores. They need a spin doctor to make It customer friendly and profitable. No way they are making the money they should at this time.
Pretty big Winners considering it's in the middle of a condo building. They don't have children's clothing which is strange because it's in the middle of a condo building and there are many offices connected to the PATH. They appear to have survived the pandemic unlike other businesses in the same building. Overall, there is a decent selection of clothing and household items.
I've been here several times and couldn't find the winners!! Why is it so hard to locate this store?? Where exactly are you guys at??? It's frustrating because I've always wanted to check this specific store! There's no sign, no one to direct you, everything is closed off. Please have some signs or directions... directions are not clear!
Located on the 2nd floor this location is very convenient and easy to get to. It does not have a children’s/baby section. Around Christmas they do have a few tables of books and toys. The other sections have a small selection. Great for a quick browse, but if you’re looking for higher end finds it won’t be at this location.
As good as any other Winners, this new location has a similar layout with similar products to all the others. If you're lucky, you might find the thing you're looking for, like I did today. Other times, not so much. Very convenient location for anyone working or living in the York and Queens Quay area of downtown Toronto.
Negative experience on Wednesday may 17th 2023 before closing. Staffs we’re chatting instead of helping me at cashier. One staff bumped into me when refilling the reusable bags. the staff helped me at cashier told another staff she was leaving for her break as we were finishing the transaction. Rude rude rude.
Convenient location for people living in the area especially if you want to return items. The product collection there is less than other branches. The posotive side is you'll find better items in here since not much people visit this place.. therefore higher chance of finding the "good" stuff.
This Winners location was pretty hard to find, but I really like that because it keeps this place fairly low traffic. Great atmosphere. Super clean. Average selection. Overall, itself a really good addition to the One York building. The only real clothing store in the area.
Just got off the phone with someone from this door and they were fantastic. I had to post a review because that was one of the best customer service I’ve experienced! I’ve also been to this location several times and the staff has always been so wonderful.
Lots of women's clothing and accessories. Plenty of Toronto sports teams apparel. Mens clothing was much smaller and not as much selections. Shoes section was the same, lots of women's and not much for men. Nice new clean store connected with the PATH.
Very very unimpressed I bought stuff for a trip only to discover after arriving on my trip that they didn't remove any of the security tags for my clothing so I couldn't wear half the stuff I bought at the store. Not impressed not impressed at all
Really spacious and organized, not a jumble of stuff like most winners in the city. However, I was surprised there was no children section , as there are lots of people with children in this part of the city. So that was disappointing.
It was pretty easy to find things and the location is really easy. It's convenient if you're following the path system. I snagged a couple of great deals and the prices are the same as they would be at any other winners location
The store set up is not bad. It would be nice if there were more XL clothing to choose from. Its great for ppl size M-L. There also needs to be better signage to lead ppl to the store. It is located behind the second escalator.
The supervisors not helpful. It is pathetic return process after spending 1000 of $ over years. They have a terrible receipt.no item names on it. They give you limited time even during covid.Food isle so limited. No variety
There is always good merchandise, always is nice visit the store buy clothes, decorations, also food. I found there vitamins, supplements, yoga mats for whoever like keep fit. Besides the people who work there are nice.
Shopped at this store location several times already. Like the few extra selections compare with other locations. The staff are friendly, helpful & courtesy while requiring for assistance.
Didn't expect it to be this cold today and thank God this Winners is close to my workplace. I took a walk and bought me a warm sweater and I guess it will be my favourite from now on..
Best place for great savings. Winners is my only place to shop. It as everything. The best deals are end of. End of summer. End of fall. End of winter. CLEARANCE....FINAL CLEARANCE.
Great selection! Love coming here with my doggy - I always seem to find something. Also located in One York so there are many other services and food court and new grocery store!
There a line up, don't be shock. Usually they have one person manning down the fort. Feel bad for the poor girl who gets everyone glare because she alone and working as fast
It’s Christmas time, I go into buy a ton of stuff, and you can’t provide a basic bag? The expectation is what, I walk around with my hands full all day? Amateur hour!
Very nice Winners, clean and easy to access ! Close to Union Station. You can access to Winners through the One York Path (from Union Station and Scotiabank Arena)
5 starts for Jane who is one of the nicest sale representatives I’ve encountered in a while. Thanks for going the extra mile and providing lovely service.
Ok experience! Place was a bit hard to find and the store was a bit messy but the staff was quite friendly compared to some other winners I've gone to.
Great selection that is continuously being refreshed. Good for men's polos, dress shirts, cool fall/winter jackets, some workout equipment, etc.
The rep messes up on my return, makes me stand there for 10 mins whole she corrects her mistake... No apologies.. This is during my lunch break
Located in the Sun Life building, you need to take the escalators up. They usually have lots of stuff. Very nice washroom and friendly staff.
Not good I order a hotdogs with all goods in but I couldn.t eat it bread was hard and old.I would not go there. Also tables are not clean.
One of Winners branch that's situated in a tiny location for peoples sort of convenience. Few selections of knickknacks and whatnot.
Lots of variety, but I doubt the "Compare to" prices are realistic. An average pair of men's leather gloves are unlikely to be $100.
The store has lots of different items for a quick run in to the store but not lots of options. Its very convenient all in all.
Nice addition to my walk to the station good selection not as much as there major store but that is expected with its location
1. Courteous staff.2. Clear pricing 3. A fine display of items. 4. The convenient location of the shop. 5. Affordable prices
Got what I needed. No automatic tellers and only one real teller person for the whole store. She did do a great job though.
Loved the variety. However got two toys, they broke as soon as we opened them. There was no children clothes here as well.
Not a busy store (when I was there). I liked that. Not the quantity either but that was OK. I was able to browse casually.
I loved this location. It’s not overstocked and what’s there is excellent quality. It’s very clean and I felt welcomed.
Very good store for a selection of Christmas presents. Very helpful staff when I was in there this past Sunday morning.
Good shopping after the office hours. Inside the path, good for the once who use path. Lots of options and nice place.
The junior , petite section is very small. Not much variety. Food section is pricier than before.. and very limited.
The greeting staff at the door is always very cheery and warm! Winner is generally great for shopping clothes etc.
Certainly not as large as the one on Bloor St but it has great stuff and I can always find something that I need
Neat and clean. Not the biggest variaty of items, I've seen locations with more options. Overall an ok location
Loved the store and the employees were really great, would be recommending everyone to visit at this location.
Not a fan of the layout at this one. But you still get the awesome Winners high quality cheap clothing
This shop is fantastic. I wish we had a shop like this in Europe. Good quality brands for low prices.
love winners. this one is super hidden in 1 York. for how small the store is, the selection is great.
Not a large selection of shoes for a size 7, but I was able to find something on the more pricy side
Good selection of stuff.. Not a messy store.. Very polite staff. It's a good and not so busy store.
Fairly big store, with good selection. Though, has a small section of a accessories for the home.
Love the store downtown. Has certain items in this store that you can't find in other locations.
Always a pleasant experience... Not usually packed... Okay deals... Nicer selection of items.
Service here is the best. Staff are always so friendly. Specially the lady that greets you!
Great location of winners and the collection is really good, I believe the best of winners
Cute little Winners store in the middle of a busy area. I liked the shopping experience
Loved the store and selections, the staff was cheerful and helpful at the checkout.
Good prices, variety of products, lots of items from USA you cant get here.
The store is neat and tidy. This is a very good place for gifts shopping.
Selection was slim, and they don't validate parking. 15 min cost me $15
They have great selection but still needs to be a little more organized
Nice place to visits for decent prices when you live in the waterfront.
Smaller than I'm used to, but good selection. No kids section.
The staff is very friendly. Always a pleasure shopping there.
Good collection.. however didn't find anything for kids
I love it. A lot of options for a very affordable price
Very Good prices, I will go back. Nice, quality items.
Pretty decent selection of men's clothes, size large.
Good selection, can't compare with the best Winners
Very calm and clean. They also have washrooms!
I love this store. I always find a good deal.
Small store with small selection, but nice.
Not the greatest selection, sadly!
