If you're looking for a decent dining experience this branch of the cafe barely makes the cut. Food was below mediocre. And the service was not good at all. I've visited this Cafe for years after gym and always recommended this place to friends and family for lunch. However maybe the management has changed. I had to plead with my waiter for a glass of water - ( my sandwich had too much Chilli in it) Which she didn't bring. I had to go to the counter to get it myself. She behaves nonchalantly and doesn't even apologize for not serving me the water or being busy. I get served the wrong sandwich (someone else's food). I find out rudely by the waiter grabbing my food from me without any explanation whatsoever. I rarely ever feel like I've wasted my money at a woolies Cafe as the quality and service is always phenomenal especially in the Sandton city branch. Will not return

Wow....what a change of experience I had today....for the first time being, an Indian South African...did I see racism at its best. Today I was just not "white" enough to get served first, even though we walked in first, was seated and handed the menu. Ready to order, the waitress, then goes to the family across me, who had just seated, to take their order, they were still busy deciding what to order....I called her to state we were ready, she just nodded her head and said must wait...while she still stood there waiting for their order...I felt sad, disappointed and could not believe this is the way I was treated. Total disbelief...poor service woolworths Cafe....am really sad I was treated this way....0 star for you'll

Only my second visit here and what a regret for not visiting more often when other restaurants at Cornubia don't even match up. The menu is just perfect and food is divine. Tables are too close and you cannot comfortably engage in private conversation. Our waitress got one of our orders wrong. We didn't complain though and the meal turned out to be pretty satisfying. She was really slow and never checked up on us. Besides the poor service (from her only as other staff were great) and the awkward seating, the food is a cut above the best.

Stopped at the cafe for a meal with my family. Great buffet at harvest table. A little bit expensive at R209 per kg. We ordered lamb burgers but their burgers have recently shrunk in size whilst the prices has been inflated. Even pressed juices and smoothies come in tiny glasses which does not satisfy the appetite. The food was good though. Although quality is assured, I think that their prices are a bit pretentious. I enjoy eating here for the quiet, relaxed ambience and friendly waitresses. They make the experience worth the while.

Went to the W Café LIKED: - Quiet for dining - Well-spaced tables (social distancing) - Freshly baked cakes / scones; decent portion for the price ~R35. DISLIKED: - Unsatisfactory customer service - Out of stock of honey despite being located within a Woolworths store - Smoothies have too much crushed ice which dilutes out the chose flavour; serving way too small with all that added ice = ~250ml @ almost R60.

Convenient store. Includes woolworths clothing, woolworths food and woolworths restaurant. Nice and quiet compared to most other woolworths stores. When items are on sale it works out cheaper then checkers and pick n pay. Definitely worth a visit. If you are entering from the robots, at the circle turn left. It is the first store on the left, you will see the sign.

Review for the Cafe. We got our usual capuccino and chicken-Mayo-avo open sandwich. Both delicious as usual. We also tried the crispy chicken burger which was amazing, tender, juicy, perfectly cooked fillet with a crispy crumb coating. We absolutely love the garlic Mayo, it's a winner. Only one waitress for the whole cafe but she was certainly on top of everything.

Very pleasant and satisfying experience. Neat, clean , tidy and well stocked store. The highlight of my visit was the restaurant where I could indulge in a light meal or just enjoy a lovely cup of filtered coffee and maybe a scone or muffin depending on the availability. Definitely a thumbs up and highly recommended to visit...

Placed my order and paid for my items. I went to collect my goods today but I was told that the my groceries are not ready for collection and there is not confirmation on when it will be ready!!!!! Very very poor customer service guys. You have failed us in a time like this. Why did you accept our orders online if you knew you can't fulfill??

Our waiter Luyanda was still a trainee and finding his feet but what really impressed me was the impeccable service received from Gugu that had him under her wings. She is so delightful, professional and would make a fine manager. She is on it and has a keen eye, perfect candidate for this industry. The Dark Chocolate Mocha was super delicious.

Order a double espresso- a single was served. The waitress insisted that a double was served. The picture was a 3 cheese toasted sandwich on Rye, with a sude salad. The size of the sandwich was shocking, not to mention the pathetic side salad in that little sauce bowl served! The quality of woolworths Cafe at cornubia mall is PATHETIC!!!!!

Very slow service and I feel the quality isa due to the location. Definitely not the coffee shop experience at other Woolies. Very limited menu, had the garden salad with add on chicken. Salad was good but chicken was awful- it was old and hard. Only one waitress foe the entire place. She is pleasant but service is very slow!

Was a pretty decent branch accept when getting at the teller when a Woolworths credit card with enough funds did not go through, then I tapped my card to pay it went off on my account not on the tellers side... And then I was forced to enter the card into the machine and pay a second time... Bad management

Love the products and the store, the great packaging and freshness of fresh produce. Efficient till points. What's not to love. Only complaint is the cash loyalty cards cannot be tracked without the card. So you lose points and savings if you misplace your card sadly. They need to resolve this issue

My first experience here was not pleasant. Waitied too long and eggs not prepared as requested. Walked past the other day and said let's give it another try. Total turnaround food was quick and done to perfection. Was definitely worth giving them a second chance

I absolutely love woolies and I regularly shop at woolies , the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful . However the staff there are extremely unfriendly and rude , no smile , no thank you and it makes me as a customer feel so uncomfortable shopping at woolies .

Cafe has amazing food, coffee and friendly staff. I’ve never had a bad experience - the cafe here has 5 stars! Grocery store can be good or bad depending on the day, some days there the store isn’t stocked enough and that can get a little frustrating.

It's Christmas holiday shopping time and only 3 tellers operating in food section and only 1 teller in general pay station section.. seriously.. always been a happy Woollies customer but not at Cornubia store . Slow slow and slower service …

Worst Service ever received in comparison to other Stores... Waited over 45min just to collect Supplementary card..Senior staff just don't seem to care to assist Junior staff..and have 0 skills in handling customer complaints...Really Shocking!!

Decent Woolies but always out of stock of basics all the time in the food section. One can also never get products if they are on promo. The Woolies across the road is always sufficiently stocked and my preferred place to shop.

Very large, spacious Woolies branch with a far better and bigger range of clothing, shoes et al. More enjoyable shopping experience here than at Gateway branch. Peaceful, untapped shopping gem away from the crowds

Cornubia never has stock .. the shelves are always empty and most of the items you look for are unavailable.. Also I find the range of food items are very limited as opposed to other stores.

Wonderful food and friendly staff. Everything on the menu is a winner. Nolwazi, Gugu, & Msizi are so professional and efficient. Kwanda makes the best Mocha's! My favourite cafe by far.

Hands down the best Woolworths from all the branches. Asiles and fridges are always clean and organized. Don't waste your time going gateway or even Woolworths at Flanders

Prices are steep, very steep, and there's no clearance of fresh goodies like cakes and pies. I went there before closing time and nothing was reduced. I did ask the staff.

Today was the second time I bought dry chicken at this Woolies. I am so disappointed because the lady was very reassuring.
