Someone needs to train the staff at the food section about treating customers with respect and explaining to customers when there has been a change of service offered, This week on one of the days, no one explained to me that they had run out of boxes for chips and wings, the staff serving me just threw in wings and chips in a brown bag used for chicken on normal basis, he threw and smashed it all the bag. Imagine how all of this was like when I took out to eat all smashed up together like pig food. Please Woolworths staff treat us with respect as customers we bring the revenue to the shop should it dry up what would happen. One unhappy customer is the start of all collapsing companies!

I received exceptional services today from the manager or supervisor by Miss Booysens and Olma Ntombela I hope they get to hear this please management foward to the staff members. I myself work as a customer care agent and I always work to please and put the customer at ease nd give exceptional service. They assisted with a smile and where friendly. And do tell Ms Booysens the customer is uCc weCithe . Through this 5 star services woolworths has earned a loyal customer

I went to this particular store on the 26th of December 2018. I am such a loyal Woolworths customer, but on this particular day I had to leave my groceries and walk out. The stench of rotten meat in the meat section was appalling, I couldn't believe it. I was very disappointed. Please do not do this to us customers, I haven't been to a Woolworths since that day. Hopefully this issue will be resolved and we can buy our groceries without the fear of being sick after.

Would have rated a 5 star if this woolies had a cafe. nonetheless woolies west street is a great store with a wide range of products on offer from clothes , make up, groceries , snacks , make up and a selection of luxury colognes. The location of this woolies is at the busy city centre at 344 Dr pixel KaSeme street. The people are friendly and helpful , I like that it is airconditioned which makes shopping so much easier inthe summer.

Terrible service especially if you get there in the afternoon. I once went there searching for a phone and stood in front of two ladies that were clearly off duty as they didn't offer to assist me and just simply looked at me and carried on with their conversation about their personal lives. At another time I was treated rudely by a lady at the food department.

I love Woolworths in West street Durban. The staff is amazing. They are always so polite. I wish they would teach the staff a Checkers shop rite Britania West street. What would have been a terrible review, turned out great. Well done to the manager. Went to buy flowers and a gift for my mothers birthday and got frustrated with the long ques...however the manager assisted me professionally and efficiently. Thank you. When I'm in Durban I will come there again. Highly recommend.

Excellent customer service....When u are in the line waiting to be served you jst cant wait to be out the door as we all know humans are impatient and its a great feeling when you get to the cashier and you receive a warm welcome.You even forget u were on the line for so long during their busy hours.

This Woolworths used to be appetising but due to the surrounding environment it's not tasteful to visit this store. There are too many street vendors outside obscuring the view of the shop. The inside is acceptable, although not as it used to be. It's spacious and wide variety to choose from.

It is okay if you want to grab something quick and leave but there is no variety. The tills need to be better managed and also the floor! This other time there were no employees to assist at the food market floor! Maybe identifying the peak hours could help nonetheless the service is okay.

I was buying a towel, took them more than 10min to ring it up, even the floor manager couldn’t fix the problem , I couldn’t leave because money was already gone from my card, but no receipt. So I’d recommend they add more experience cashiers. Other than that, it’s a clean shop.

A centrally placed store in Durban CBD, very well organised and still a pleasure to enter and exit even with new security procedures. Must compliment the staff there for their efficient working ethic and friendly helpful service they offer one as a client. Great job Woolies!!!

The cashier from the food market's facial expression and body language as I put the change in my wallet was very appalling to say the least. He looked at me as if I was annoying as he was ready to serve the next customer, more like "hurry up I need to serve the next customer"

The shop is fantastic i real enjoyed shop here, the staff is very helpful every corner they have someone who's waiting to help a customer. You get all types of jeans,short,trunksuits, and they all have a food market inside the shop,you can buy clothes and also do the shopping

I come here for the aircon first. The location of this store is great but I find that it doesn't have much. The foods section is dire! The staff, not as friendly and upbeat as most Woolies. It is so convenient though, closest to taxis and most working offices. …

One thing I would recommend is that Woolworths have a cellphone use policy if they don't have it already. Customer Services had long queue and only two ladies were serving customers and the 3rd whom I presumed to be a supervisor was fiddling with her cellphone

the problem is that there are no parkings near by, except for the ones on the street which are so limited and they are always full, the location is in a very hectic part of town, but apart from the parking issue and the location, their service is really good.

Located in the CBD, easily accessible even to people with special needs. It has few parkings infront and the back. It has two entrances from West street side and to Pine Street as well. Inside store is very clean busy but queues moving fast. Thank you

Yesterday 26 September around 13:00 I bought the BBQ whole chicken, I was so disappointed because it is what I buy regularly but it was the 2nd time buying it here. It was so dry such that the package was clean with no sauce on it, the meat

The store is clean and they have nice clothes....but i was in the store to link my store card and i had to wait for 30minutes, for a person who works in the new Account department..i ended up leaving the store without activating my Account.

This place closed down. There is no more Woolworths in west street. When you Google it says it's open but it's not........ Woolworths is open as of 1st September come one come all!!! Lots of discounts for customers.

visited the west street branch of woolworths today. service was very bad. staff very unhelpful. I enquired for an item and was told they don't have it. when I asked them to check for the item they didn't bother to.

Apart from the neatness and good quality and services the location is in the heart of the cbd. If you are a mall person or not comfortable with crowded places with no parking area then it may not be for you.

Why did you stop having the securities searching entrance and exit. I know this will be annoying to your customers but it will minimize the walking through of people from Pine Street to West Street.

It's OK, everyone hates town although you understand why the treatment is different because of the criminal element, it still not a place to go unless you desperate will rather travel to Musgrave.
