You don't need to look far too see why they get one Star from me but hey here's my reasoning to add to the numerous they have earnt already. 1) Sale's person lied about availability of a product I wanted after showing them the online price and availability. They lied directly stating the more expensive product was cheaper without disclosing price. $100 over a stated budget doesn't meet any definition of cheaper, ever, anywhere to anyone! 2) They forced a sale through immediately there after never once showing me a price on display, on their tablet or on a EFTPOS terminal. I found out on my PHONE through my banking application & emailed invoice! 3) They then left the floor when I returned to speak about the CLEARLY more expensive item I was charged for. 4) I've now "unsubscribed" 4 times from emails direct from their marketing team which I think it's insane given I never opted to receive any emails outside of my tax invoice I would have just taken a paper copy, or even a EFTPOS docket had any one offered me one. At this point if I was you I would think very carefully about purchasing from Amart they are clearly poorly run, believe in a combative high pressure sales culture and will hound you if you give them a cent! On the bright side the warehouse team we're lovely would happily deal straight with them and cut out the snakes in the office/sales area's.

Came to buy 1 bar stool they don’t have it in Oxley but they have it in Yamanto (30 hour drive). When I proposed I can send them a label to bring it here and pay for it now they said “it’s a different store different management” because obviously they said no to getting it from there to here due to not doing it anymore. I then said I’ll pay for postage and send them a label to print and send to me still they said no. But I can call and ask Yamanto because it’s a different management and they might say yes!?!? Really!?!? Aren’t you the same company!?!? I then asked if I could buy the display one they still said no. No wonder dealing with small businesses is so much easier. I thought Amart was 1 business in Australia but it seems like it’s just a front for whatever that is. No regards whatsoever to getting the sale or getting the deal done. I had the catalog in my pocket as I want to buy a $5000 dining set but I threw it in the bin now. Don’t want to make such a bad service company profit from anything. By the way the store was empty... shame on big businesses that forget about how they got there in the first place.

They dont care about customer satisfaction. The sales team are good but thats because they want to take ur money. Once your money its gone. They start treating you like a.s.s. I bought a furniture worth over $10k since April. Now the chair is here after waiting for months but the delivery lady is being difficult. I asked them to deliver from 9am onwards and she kept insisting they will deliver anytime they like even though they have tried to deliver at that time and missed. I specifically asked her that I have a child with disability that stays awake at night so early morning will not work for us but she kept insisting there is nothing they can do to help. I requested for her to make a note but she still refused. How can delivering a delivery window of 9am onwards not enough for a proper human being? You are such a wicked human being, you will keep my furniture and get tired, not like u cared since you have collected money. I buy things from goodguys, harvey norman and delivery has always being accommodating and easy.

The worst customer service expereince I had with Amart Oxley. I bought a tree house bed from them. Our son's bed broke down and thus we were in a hurry to get the bed as soon as we can. We picked the products which were available and in stock to get the bed as soon as we can. First they did not update our address and sent the item to our old address. We identified the issue and reported back. This delayed our delivery for 3 more days, without our fault. After that we received the bed, With side wooden planks broken , a big long crack end to end. We had to assemble the bed for our son. We later contacted Amart stating the defective goods we received and they said Ok, we can give you 100 dollars back. 100 dollars for a defective or broken bed ? Really ?? If this bed was sitting in their showroom, would they be able to sell it for a discount of 100 dollars. Disappointed.

Horrible horrible customer service. Purchased a dining table with six chairs. One box came open and items obviously used before. Damage to the leather and parts missing. Obviously someone has returned it, Amart has dissembled it and didn’t bother to check if all items where repacked or even tape up the box. I just am extremely curious how quality control works at this place of building or how the Amart employed delivery team not question the box when the picked it up to deliver it to our house. Anyways the excitement of waiting on hold for 45 minutes just to get a generic answer and email for more photos awaits me and the stress to see if claimed wonderful customer service as states by the sales team rings true. Hopefully it does cause we just laid down a whole lot of money on those promises. Hope to update this review with great news. Fingers crossed.

Super Amart consists of a lot of overpriced and poorly built furniture shown in large showrooms which to be fair is what most furniture stores in Australia sell. One example is the leather lounge we were sold that was supposed to be all leather and have a hardwood frame. Years later it turns out it only has real leather on the seating areas when the colour started changing and faux leather elsewhere and the hardwood frame is made of pine. Another example the wardrobe cabinets that are built with cheap foil covered drawers with screws that are too short to attach the handles. Delivery prices even close to the store are too expensive. Prices are generally non negotiable for upfront payment despite them factoring in the interest free costs on their advertised products, the multiple steps for payments and the way they operate is stuck in the past.

They have the same furniture, and same prices at every Amart store. The only difference between each store is the customer service. It’s a large store with what I would say is their full rage of stock as they show online. The customer service is fantastic, they are very attentive and are incredibly friendly. They want to help you get what you want. I have never had a problem or bad experience with a customer service team member within the store before (on the phone is a different story, but this is a review for this individual store, and should not reflect the experience I had on the phone, or online). The stock is very similar to the items that you would buy at Harvey Norman’s, but significantly cheaper. I would definitely recommend you to browse or shop here. You will have a great experience.

Ordered 2 packages in July 2021. Told about Covid Delays but that we should have our items by early November 2021. We are now at the tail end of December having received a few bits from each of the two packages. Advised that it may be February or March ... Maybe, no promises... before we get the rest. Only attempt to help was offer other available items... which would not match any of what we have received (and used/assembled so cannot even return those). Check of their website and in store shows they are STILL selling the items they cannot supply us?!? All in will avoid Amart in future. If I have to buy there will ONLY buy if items are available on day of purchase. Either they deliberately sell knowing they cannot supply OR they are ignorant of their own supply chain.

3 out of 5 stars for Amart Oxley, and although the issue isn't entirely Amart's fault, it's a shared responsibility as they failed to deliver on customer satisfaction for this reason. We bought a gas lift bed, which arrived on a Friday. After partly constructing the bed we had to contact Amart as the screw and bolt kit contained the wrong bolts. Contacted them the same day and were told Tuesday delivery was when they could get the bolts to us. As we only lived 8km's from their main warehouse my wife suggests driving to Springfield to pick them up. NO, was their reply, we would have to wait, 5 days So, yeah. Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, No bolts and No bed to sleep in/on. Bolts arrive on Tues late afternoon

We purchased a foam mattress under a year ago and we were told it has a 12 month warranty. We called and asked how we can get a refund and were advised that they would send us an email and we just had to respond with photos. After this was done, they told us because we threw out the mattress cover they cannot proceed with refund. Please note we got rid of this after speaking to them as we are travelling in a van. This makes no sense and when we asked for more information we were given the same response twice and then they have ignored us since. Really disappointed in how they deal with refunds.(Or not deal with them) And this was a mattress under $200.so good luck with anything more.

Bought a leather couch 22/05/2021 and was advised it'll take 6 weeks to arrive. Paid for the item with the receipt instead advising 7-8 weeks which I took on the chin. Early July I received notification that it wont be ready until late July. Mid July I got notification it wont be ready until early August. Early August I got notification it wont be ready until late August. Late August I got notification that it wont be ready until late September... It's currently late September and I have heard absolutely nothing! I will be requesting a refund on what was paid, as it is absurd that business can take many and not deliver. They will just use covid as a pathetic excuse

Had good service at the shop while deciding. However, delivery service was horrific. Receiving a call at 6am on the weekends morning about delivery without any precautions . When asked them to come back later the same day, they logged the job as 'delivery failed'. Contacted shop and the manager's response was another level of ridiculousness. Not listening to the issue, talking over the customer to justify their postion of the delivery company has right to call the customers at 6am, once they failed the job they will not come back, no apolosiging..etc poor poor response. Wish never bought from this shop. Will be considered as last option for future purchases.

We bought a queen mattress in Amart at Oxley. It was very difficult to choose one and we needed a lot of time to make the right decision. Heather was very patient and understanding. She gave us all the time in the world to try the mattresses and shared good advice with a positive attitude and smile. Thanks to Heather we ended up buying a very good mattress with a few pillows and a mattress cover. The delivery was efficient and correct. I didn’t need to take time off from work as Amart is clever enough to deliver on Saturdays too, unlike some other companies. We were very happy with the service and highly recommend Amart for purchasing queen size mattresses.

I spend over $1,000 on a recliner and when it was delivered it was missing 4 wing nuts. I immediately rang the store and was told to send an email with a photo of the missing parts as their spare parts department was shut and they would get back to me. (Got me if the parts are missing how do to take a photo of them, but I took a photo of the instruction manual and assembly guide noting the parts missing and emailed through. This was on Tuesday 16/10, and guess what, I still have not heard from them as of Thursday afternoon. Great customer service I have spent over $1000 on a paperweight because I can not use the chair.

I bought a dining suite I was advised that it was in stock but when I went to collect and waited for over an hour. I was told that the chairs were out of stock. I had to wait 5 days before they were in stock. I asked them for free delivery and was denied and told that I lived close enough. I thought that wasn't good enough. When I went to collect them the store people took over 30 mins to find them. Maybe if they asked me I could of told them that they were on the pallet next to me. Even when the stores person was told where they were he even went to the wrong place. Product is as good as what you pay for. Average.

Plenty of options compared to Harvey Norman in furniture. Staff is friendly, big place, ample parking space. You may get good discounts if you bargain well. Average you get 5 years warranty on your couches, this warranty is not transferable if you are selling within 5 years. Artificial leather couches if torn after few years they will replace it or correct it based on inspection. So overall I would consider buying furniture here with confidence. There are 0% interest finance available too, but comes with yearly charge of $99. So you can't call it as 0% interest free finance. Good luck with your purchase.

We bought a couch nearly half a year ago from Amart. There was a mix up with the couch and we received one piece that wasn't the one we ordered. During COVID we couldn't swap it unfortunately, but at this stage the other piece I needed desperately... Lady over the phone wasnt helpful though but transferred to I think a Peter? He actually went above an beyond an ordered another courier to come out to swap as their other courier was not operating during COVID. He was an Irish fella that helped us from Amart. In the end I think you guys deserve 5 stars because it was all solved and we thank you.

Very unhappy with the service from one of your staff. When we told her we were just looking. She tried to make us buy. Kept telling us this sale is only for a short time. Then she said we can hold things for you but you have to pay a deposit. She went on & on & on. Sorry what does just looking dont people understand. She followed us all around the store which makes me not enjoy looking and all i wanted to do is leave. I get it's hard times and they want to make money but you need to retrain them when someone tells them just looking thats what that means. Will never buy from you.

Ordered a bed mattress and bed frame from oxley, they said 5-6 weeks on the frame and now after 5 weeks they are saying it could be another 2-3 weeks. Dont trust their time estimates. Really rude person answering the phone when i enquired constantly cutting me off mid talk. Also when i was waiting on the matress it had been 2 weeks after i ordered on a 0-1 week wait and when i called they said yeh its in stock we can send it to u tomorrow. If it was in stock why didnt they message me like they said they would to arrange delivery. Really subpar service all round.

Very bad experience from warranty claim team. Bought a recliner chair a year ago, stopped working due to motor fault. Technician came and repaired. Didn't last for six months and stopped working again. Amart Technicians are very busy and would take more than 8 weeks to repair and return the chair since Complain lodged. Haven't been able to use the chair for more than six months since purchase. Amart would not replace it under warranty claim. Very disappointing service from such a big company. Would not recommend purchasing, would give zero star rating.

I went to the store to look for a number of things. A lovely lady named Leena came up to me and asked me if I would like some help. I told her that I do need help, but in saying that I am not an easy customer to please. Leena was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for me and ALWAYS with a smile on her face. Nothing was too much for her and she was extremely patient with me. You could see that she loved her job, and I would highly recommend anybody that goes to the Oxley Store to ask for Leena. i wish i could give this place 0 stars. Poor customer service, the lady we had was unclear with everything, shut us down when asked questions and overall really unhelpful. As soon as we paid for our furniture, she walked away — clearly only here to make a sale. Picking up the furniture was on another level of confusing, she didn't help us with directions when asked and constantly told us the furniture would fit in our car (but when we went to the storage people, they said it wouldn't. and guess what! it didn't.)

Came in on Thursday night, spoke to a salesman (who we had to go and approach) asking if they had any bar stools in stock. Said he'd make a phone call to check, left us waiting for 15 minutes while he spoke to another group of customers, probably trying to make a higher sale. We walked out and purchased bar stools elsewhere. You don't deserve our money if you're just going to ignore your customers, and I can see others feel the same in the reviews. No wonder why online retailers are doing so well...

Poor customer service. I ordered a dinning chair and had to click and collect from Rochdale which is 40mins away. I recieved wrong leg pieces and had to drive back again to pick up the right pieces. AMART does not acknlowedge their error and offered to replace the legs through courier service which would take 1-2 weeks leaving me no choice but to drive and pick it up. So I have to drive again all the way to replace 2 legs. This is just terrible customer service. Its getting to be a norm with AMART

I just got home from visiting Amart Furniture. They have relocated their store. The layout is nice (personally preferred the old store but be that as it may). Plenty of staff. You can see them. Standing around talking with each other, oblivious to the customers wandering around trying to find them. I am very disappointed. Price-wise they are very good (that's why I gave them 2 stars) but the lack of customer service needs urgent attention. Hopefully i just walked in at the wrong time.

Very disappointed. I was not aware of how much Super Amart now drop ship until I went there to purchase a couch in Feb. My husband asked the sales assistant which were in stock to get soon, we were directed to 2 different styles. Paid and were told they would be delivery in 2 weeks, got a call saying in would be early March then a call again saying it would be late March. It was very frustrating, I wouldn't go there unless you are prepared to wait up to 3mths for furniture.

First time my partner and I went in , everybody was lovely. Second time, was one late night and the guy serving us told us that all the couches we liked were sold out in all Queensland and was going to be a months wait. My partner and I went to a different one a few days later for another item and they said they had 3 of the couches we liked in stock. The guy lied to us so he wouldn't have to do a contract up for us. Not going back there again.

Worthless Warranties Hi everyone, just here to add another bad review to the list. Purchased an "Outdoor day bed" from Amart. It is still within the warranty period and the materials have degraded so badly from being outdoors that it now has the strength of paper, many rips are appearing. The metal frame is also rusting. Amart won't honour to their "warranty" even though their product is unfit for purpose. Shop elsewhere.

Very large range of home furnishings and bedroom goods. A friendly staff member approached soon after I entered and offered assistance. Quality of the products is not really in line with the prices. You can get better quality furniture for the same price from other stores. Super Amart offers Interest Free payment options to help manage the cost and your budget. Plenty of off street parking available around the building.

Absolutely horrible experience. One of the couches I purchased failed in the warranty period. The company that Amart uses to do repairs and quotes came out and confirmed it would be fixed. 3 months later, we have heard nothing from Amart. The repair contractor can not get through to them either. We will now be going to the ACC however, this company is causing undue stress on myself trying to resolve this.

I called late Thursday night, as I desperately needed a new queen mattress to replace my old one being taken away the next day. After spending well over $12,000 with Super over the years I purchased a faulty couch from there. They had two of their ‘experts’ come out to my house to look at the couch. They declined a refund or replacement, advising it was my fault. No opportunity for further discussion or appeal. Will not being going back there for furniture. Lost a loyal customer. Very poor customer service.

We decided between 3 suites they had on display. Couldnt get either of them for 2 and a half months!! Yet they had them for sale that day?? The sales girl kept walking off while we talked to her and didn't answer our questions. We brought 3 thousand dollars of furniture from a different amart.. found this store a waste of our time. Think they need to retrain their staff.

Staff are friendly and helpfull, however when people are out shopping they tend to want to take it home today, we could of purchased 5 different lounge suites but none in stock..anywhere and were between a 2 and 6 week wait. Would of quite happily taken floor stock but wasnt allowed. So drove half hour and spent our 2k budget on lounges in stock at fantastic furniture

Your time leaving customers on hold is disgusting......20 mins and didnt even allow the consumer on the other end of the phone to reply before just dumping them back on hold - this is extremly poor customer service and very disappointed in the way this store handled my phone call. In the end I have hung up and will not be sending my business to this store.

Went to Super Amart looking for a bed for my little one. Amazing service by Huy. He knew what he was talking about. Explained the different mattresses and which ones would be good for our 4 year old and advised on one that would last a few years. He was very polite and an asset to the store. We didn’t have any hesitation in buying! Smooth transaction.

Terrible experience! Our table which was not in stock was advised it would take a week. 3 weeks later it arrives,no dramas however because of the delay as good gesture they said they would deliver for free. No notes were listed to state then they say if they were to deliver it would take another week! Poor communication. Will not go back to this store

Bought a lounge from Oxley amart. Got delivered with missing legs and spoke to the staff and they said it will be delivered within 2 days but nothing came till 3 rd day so I gave them another call and this time they said it will be delivered within a week. Not a good customer service I feel like buying from them is total waste of time and money.

Tried to make a quick purchase but was passed around from one sales rep to another all because they wanted to allocate my purchase to a rep. Had the product and card in hand but made to wait. 20(?)staff on the floor. I retrieved the product myself. I should get the commission lol. Poor customer service! Let’s hope the product is good

A good range of furniture items at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, we were bombarded with 5 different staff members in the 15 minutes we were there all wanting to sell to us. I appreciate that having enough staff to attend to people is invaluable, however it really was uncomfortable to be repeatedly approached in such a short time.

Ordered two single beds, they said would arrive by, Friday 4/7 Today is the 10/7 and I've just had to ring again to see if they were in stock, THEY ARE, however was never told asked for them to be delivered, nope pick up only mam. Highly recommend not going to the Oxley store as, it's nothing but a big stuff around .

They are unhelpful and shameless, after waiting for 2 months for my order they finally came and collected the (unusable) half of my outdoor setting but now (more than a week later) they won't refund my purchase. Amazing experience with Amart Oxley! I showed up 10 minutes before closing looking for a mattress that was in stock. They found me a great option, called the pick up crew to arrange for it to be out the front and picked it up , all in 12 minutes! Thank you to all the team for your exceptional customer service.

I went to the Store looking for a Couch ️ it was a 30% off sale. I found one I liked and the Salesman said it was $2199 and that was the sales price. Very worst customer experience. As long as you buy things from them they will happily accept all terms and conditions but as soon as you change or cancel items then they will change their behavior 360 degree. Very bad experience shopping from Amart oxley and will not recommend shopping from this store.

Been waiting for the second couch to arrive for 4 months and today received phone call saying the delivery will take another month. this is unacceptable, waiting for a 6 months to receive a couch is so frustrating. not worth to buy from here, poor quality as well.

Enjoyed our visit today. We were left to check everything out for ourselves and then Lea came along to offer assistance. We had found what we were looking for and Lea helped us out to a bargain on a new lounge setting. We're very stoked with our purchase.

Although there was sale for bedroom furniture package, which includes a bed, 2 side table and a dressing table, we haggled and got $400 less than sale price. So don't afraid or shy to ask for price reduction. The manager is very nice and informative.

Do not buy bedding furniture from any Amart Store. I recently purchased a full bedroom suite and the bed frame arrived damaged and the bedside tables fell apart while assembling. It was cheep rubbish for what was advertised as quality

Gday ! Amart at Oxley has moved across the motor way but still easy access. Staff are friendly and helpful. I arrived early so was only one in store so had VIP treatment and found what I needed quickly.

Good selection of sofas and beds and a large store format. Staff were attentive and parking was easy. We were looking for TV cabinets but most were the large wooden variety. Good spot for ideas though.

Bought a range of furniture from amart oxley, $7500 cash sale total. When it was delivered a piece was damaged, that piece was $800 and amart were notified and refused to honour the warranty.

Update: The repairer came out again after contacting Fair Tradding and reporting AMART to the ACCC. The lady I dealt with at Fair Trading stated AMART lied to her during their discussions.
