I have been going to this clinic for almost 8 years now for cleaning and general checkups and recent events have made me change clinics completely. They always seem to be running late, I will show up for an appointment on time and wait anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes just to see someone. They seem to be understaffed and do the bare minimum for each session. Twice now the reception has called to cancel an appointment the DAY BEFORE my scheduled appointment. My last appointment was in May, and I was called a day in advance to be told the technician wouldn’t be in the next day and asked to reschedule. I had another appointment schedule this week l, received an email two days in advance asking me to confirm I was coming and then I was called the next day to cancel and reschedule. Both times were due to ongoing staff circumstances they were well aware and could have called much earlier to reschedule. It feels like they have complete and utter disregard for the fact that people normally have to schedule time off work at least a week in advance! I was lucky enough to find a different clinic that had an opening this week and they were surprised to find out that my teeth X-rays hadn't been updated in over a year and requested to have them done for their files. They found four minor cavities, three of which were inside the teeth, meaning they could ONLY be detected with an x-ray. The fourth one was a surface cavity on a back molar. How did this get overlooked by Dr. Anderson and a technician three months ago? Additionally my new clinic found it odd that, I, in my mid 20’s was not consulted about my wisdom teeth recently. Again on the x-rays I was shown that two of wisdom teeth looked like they are close to coming in sideways and impacting my other teeth. Again I am left wondering why this wasn’t something this clinic was keeping an eye on? I have no idea what has been going on at this clinic recently, why they seem to be so disorganized and understaffed but I am very disappointed as this used to be a good and well managed clinic when I first started coming.
