"The staff are super friendly and helpful here, I put a lot of kids’ books on hold and it is super convenient to park and pick up"
"Whatever happened to the "etiquette" of "quiet" in a library so one could concentrate on their business?? Parents allow, and are essentially allowed thus by staff, to let their children be misbehaving and not average controlled"
"This is one of the bigger Austin libraries, or it is laid out in a way that makes it look larger"
"Service is terrible at this location"
"First, I am not an employee knowing everything"
The staff are super friendly and helpful here, I put a lot of kids’ books on hold and it is super convenient to park and pick up. The drive in by the dumpsters is not ideal and the facility definitely needs an update but perhaps the more of us that use it and show the value the more likely that it will get some funding and attention!
Whatever happened to the "etiquette" of "quiet" in a library so one could concentrate on their business?? Parents allow, and are essentially allowed thus by staff, to let their children be misbehaving and not average controlled. There are limited nos. of computers 'cause of the no. of patrons in the locale.
This is one of the bigger Austin libraries, or it is laid out in a way that makes it look larger. It has more good materials for toddlers than the selection at Milwood which is closest to my house. It also has good meeting rooms. Lastly you can see Little Walnut Creek from the front door.
Service is terrible at this location. Personnel reflect poor training and even worse customer relations. The only reason I rated them at 1 is because 0 was not an option. I saw an elderly lady trying to use the copier treated in a rude
First, I am not an employee knowing everything. This library is in a great location, and there is a H-E-B right across the street. There are a small amount of computers, and there are no open hours on Sunday. There are open bathrooms and a
You won't be bothered by loud patrons at Little Walnut Creek. The staff are so loud they drown them out. There is a staff person who can be clearly heard from one end of the library to the other, who talks constantly. To be fair, she seems
Awfully cramped. Theres never any tables or chairs. The library is in a real ghetto area and full of homeless people who take up what few seats there are. I understand every library has homeless, but this location doesnt have enough spots
Library was dated and shabby. Not at all welcoming. More tables + seating needed. Given the large area served, this facility needs to be expanded. Sell the current miserly building on a small lot and rebuild across the street next to the
The neighborhood has gotten better, and that means the library is safer. I really like getting my books as holds in this library--I'm in and out again in five minutes, so I get my books while avoiding the crowds. I like the librarians.
Noisy, loud staff, people talking on their cell phones. Why they don't have carpet on there carts/shelves to keep them from rattling I don't understand!! I was wearing my over the ear headphones and it was still noisy.
Love having my holds brought here! The self check out add ons made it that much better. Free internet with study only desktops too! Very helpful staff, I like them a lot! They are helpful to all who ask for assistance.
Its not a bad library at all staff is cool but due to its small size and kids there is always some noise level. I prefer to work in a dead quiet environment so I can focus easier but overrall it meets the standard.
Sure this might not be the fanciest location, and when I walk out of the library I saw some homeless people near the HEB across the road, but I think the neighborhood is getting better.
I had a great experience, the employee was very nice and helpful and guided me through getting the information I needed, it was also quickly completed, which I appreciated very much
It's nice, but there is a security guard that likes to harass people there. I have tried to file a complaint, but I can't even get a complaint form and nobody will cooperate.
I have access to anime books(my favorite) & to power ranger movies. My kids love that show & if they don't have the book, they ask another library for it & save it for me
The librarians have helped me to the extent of getting me a recipe printed out! Maps on bus routes etc wonderful when yr lost looking & can't find it they will …
Went to the library today and am so impressed with the service I got. The 2 men on duty were so helpful, told me about the printon app and was able to print in mins
Scary. Violent people coming in off the street. Cursing out security guards! Really scary. People walking up behind you on computers. …
They have a good children’s section with lots of toys and great books. The storytime is wonderful! It is a very small branch.
Computer classes. That i took few yeas to go. And I going to take them again. To refresh some points. …
The staff are really sweet! And the location is nice and quiet. May be a little dated, but it serves it's purpose.
Got a shot, and all of the people that I interacted with were very nice and helpful. Especially Mr. Bruce!
They have nice staff, and it's a bit loud sometimes with the little kids but overall a nice environment.
CLOSED DUE TO A.C. DOWN. So sorry the kids missed some activities. I hope there will be some more soon.
excellent and very helpful staff ,with lots of patience and respect for all patrons .
It's a nice place to lay back and watch a movie on you tube or putlocker web sites.
Small location but very friendly staff and convenient if you can't make it downtown
library has a nice atmosphere and good books the staff is pleasant but unhelpful
Small building but very helpful staff. Clean and organized. Handicap accessible.
Helpful and kind staff, needed to get some forms printed. Quiet and real lovely
Great for quick use of computers & printing. Friendly staff sometimes.
People come to hang out and talk loudly. Don't come here to study
Easy internet access. Hassle free and clean environment …
Wonder library with the most welcome members and cooperatives.
