Car wash
"I been here 3 time"
"You have to pay 5$ for it to start, I put a 5$ bill in the machine as well as a toonie in the coin slot and it said I only paid $4"
"I always go to this place for car wash, faced a small issue with credit card payment for the wash"
"For one the owner is a jerk"
"I haven't been to other coin washes in Hamilton yet so can't comment on relative price but in my view, this coin car wash is good value @ $4 for 4:30 minutes with option to add more coins for more time"
I been here 3 time. All 3 time are during noon, soap was lacking (little to no soap). I am not sure if I am unlucky 3 time, that they ran out of soap or that how it is. Water was cold and could use just a bit or more pressure but is fine. Place is clean and machine is easy to use. Timer is big and easy to see. Overall due to lack of soap. I never true able to get a clean wash was compare to to other coin washes. Google review is not giving me the option to reply the owner response, so I am adding it here below. "Hello. Did you try using foam brush or just high pressure soap function on the gun?" I do the same routine for all coin wash. I use the brush for my wheels only and sometime the windows(never on paint), and high pressure soap function for the rest of the car. Soap was lacking for both. The brush did provided a better clean because the brush was kinda hard and therefor get a lot of dirt off. Still not a lot of soap, run down soapy water at best.
You have to pay 5$ for it to start, I put a 5$ bill in the machine as well as a toonie in the coin slot and it said I only paid $4.75 and wanted me to add another 25cents. I called the phone number for the carwash and was told someone would be with me momentarily. A few minutes later, the cashier from the petro gas station came over and put in more coins but the machine still wasn't recognizing it so she asked me to pull out and come into the store. When I went into the store the cashier handed me a 5$ bill I explained that I had deposited a toonie also the cashier said she believed me but the machine only displayed the last amount deposited and she could only refund me that amount. When asked if she could check the camera she reluctantly said yes but it would be to much of a hassle. I left with my 5$ and will not be returning.
I always go to this place for car wash, faced a small issue with credit card payment for the wash. Though i followed the process as mentioned step by step but i was charged $10 incorrectly for which i raised the issue and mentioned in my review whole of my experience and management responded immediately and resolved the issue which shows management cares for the customers and value each one of them. I was not sure whether someone will really care for a single problem a customer faced in their car wash station some day, but wow, they were very active and resolved the issue immediately. I have to give 5 star because the way, management cared and addressed my problem, is worth to be appreciated.
For one the owner is a jerk...went there late at night to wash a tarp for a boat...no cars were there when we got there and only one car came while we were there...the owner sent his only female employee outside in the dark to tell us we couldn't wash a tent...explained to her is was a tarp for a boat and we wouldn't be long...before we were even able to wash the tarp we had to clean the booth as it was full of mud and grass and that was the less dirty of the six available bays..
I haven't been to other coin washes in Hamilton yet so can't comment on relative price but in my view, this coin car wash is good value @ $4 for 4:30 minutes with option to add more coins for more time. All equipment worked well. Water pressure high. Soap brush was very foamy. Switching between modes was immediate, no lag time. I think the overall rating for this establishment is unwarranted (too low) due to some questionable and unsubstantiated reviews and ratings.
Price is $5 for 4 minutes - almost double compared to other car washes in the city (others charge $3 for same time). Brush does not work well at all: barely any soap/foam coming out leaving car surface dirty after rinse. Add on reply to owner's question: I was in the left-most bay on 8/23, one closest to coin machine. And like you suggested, I will be going elsewhere for service better suited for my needs.
Pressure was barely powerful enough to get any light dirt off the car even when spraying from less then a foot away. first wash bay i tried didn’t work at all and had to back out and try another one, tri color wax barely worked and just continued to charge my credit card. it’s like it’s designed this way to charge you more. a car wash shouldn’t end up costing me $10 to barely get the dirt off
The spot free rinse isn’t actually spot free! Don’t waste your time on a touch less car wash here I’ve given them multiple chances and water is still too hard. Spot free rinse also isn’t high enough pressure, it forces you to use a high pressure rinse to waste time and money before switching back to spot free rinse. RED HILL CARWASH IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST, never had an issue.
The car wash is clean and in good working order however a minimum of $4 just to start is a bit much when I mainly just needed the vacuum, I decided if I'm spending the money Ill wash my car, after spending $9 I got 9 minutes to wash my car fully and vacuum.... It's not worth it, to fully clean your car you're looking at $15- $20 bucks... Now I have a half cleaned car....
Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the way management running this business... It's the management duties to check every day if their machines work properly plus I didn't mind to pay a dollar more but please don't reduce the quality of the supplies you offer... The soap was very light and the vacuum was not working properly... Very disappointed
Went to car wash and the bay I was in had no soap and I already had $4.00 in. So basically just rinsed the car for 5 minutes. I called the number that is with this car wash on google and spoke with the girl to inform her, who didn’t seem to understand and kept telling me to “add more money”. No use at all and a waste of my money.
I recently went for a quick car wash. I used my credit card and did the $4 minimum wash. I was really happy with the bay and how clean my came out. $4 gave me more than enough time to wash my car too. However was annoyed to see on my credit card statement though I was charged $10. Beware using your credit card here.
Do agree with how customers feel cheated using this car wash. No suprise owner doesnt allow anyone to reply back to their bs. Coin wash accepts currency notes but machines are programmed not to stop and consumes all money whatever inserted. Vacuum are so weak that its better to dont use them at all.
This is a scam car wash station. Even after cancelling the wash timer keeps on running and the owner charges for whole money that is inserted in machine. System are set not to stop and will advise anyone using to put only money for the job else machine wont stop and you will be charged forever
While I did pay though my card a second time, the first attempt to use this facility swallowed $5 in $1 coins and did not work. There is no option to cancel transaction so this machine just scammed me out of $5 in coins. Very disappointed as this is an otherwise we’ll kept and clean facility.
First bay had no soap. Went to see if I can get reimbursed. Nothing because time expired; I was technically washing still with just water. Understandable. Went to second bay; same thing. Did not bother checking with them again and just vacuumed what I can; inside the car.
Once another customer helped me figured it out (and I went through $15) I finally had a clean car (baked on bird droppings all over so it was tough) - I was very grateful for the neighborly patron (Sam) who helped me out - looking forward to it being cheaper in future :)
Decent place to get your car cleaned. For my sedan needed atleast $10 to clean it completely. The vacuum is quite weak across the bays ( according to the worker). I would ask the worker if all the features are working before starting to clean.
Paid 4$ For 4 mins to vacuum my car out and there was barely any suction… didn’t pick up any dirt at all lol wasted my money Went across the street to use the Esso’s vacuum…$2.5 for 5 mins and vacuumed my whole car out in ten mins …
Was at the automated car wash across the road , e&&o and it damaged as well as left my truck covered in soap ! Thank god these guys were across the road with spray booths ! Sorry for the confusion Bahama Car Wash ! Cheers Gary
Has a vacuum in each carwash stall. I was kind of iffy at first but when I selected the “vacuum” option, it was extra strong and heavy duty :). Love the Trifoam soap and wax. My car was so fresh and so clean when I finished.
5$ 4min not enough for a wash ended up paying 10$ could have gone elsewhere. I Prefer 1gr8 carwash at cannon much better 5$ 6min I guess and 3$ vacuum I will never come back.Vacumm is weak feels like hairdryer
Expensive compared to others in city and not a lot of time for the money. Hoses always interfere with each other when using. Spot free rinse has less pressure than a co-ed softball game. Decent location though
Started off by the machines not taking my money. When I put my card in it used up two minutes worth of time then it started beeping like crazy. I would see it go from 2:06 to 1:53 then go back up to 2:06.
I ended up getting about 8 minutes for the price of 4 because the coin machine wasn't working so the guy there just turned on the machine for me. Friendly staff and sizeable wash areas. I will go back!
Could use some upgrades and make the vacuum easier to use and actually have good suction. It was really just a complete waste of time trying to use the vacuum and the pressure washer just works ok
The car wash part is good but if you go and buy an air fresher or any of the products be careful because the products get stuck and you have to spend more money just to get the first one
Awesome car wash. Good system that can accept cards. Lots.of selection on wash and wax on the wand or the brush. Can be a bit tricky to locate...behind a gas station.
This coin operated car wash actually accepts credit card can be quite busy on weekend. Warning will charge your card for extra time with little warning.... …
Good coin wash. However bring your piggy banks. Lol. Most of the time everything works well. Multiple payment options is convenient. However probably why its costly.
Always a pleasure to use this carwash. I used the very last stall to the left and found the water pressure a bit low, other than that it was cheap anf easy to use
I find all car washes pricey. This car wash has all the goodies and very well maintained. Lots of room in each booth, tri wax foam spray with good pressure
Amazing and Very nice self-serve "Bahama Car Wash" and I am so happy that we had kind of hand car wash like this and love it's especially my husband..
I love car washes like this! Totally brings back my childhood of when my mom would wash her car, we always had so much fun <3 Always a perfect clean!
Wash is nice vacumes not working and when they do it's very poor suction very disappointing to spend the money to vacuum and it dosent work properly
Very pricey. It costs you 6$ for 6 mins. The vacuums only takes 10 mins to start and clean because its very slow and literally needs a replacement.
I am torn to give it a 3. The place really has potential. But there was no soap with very little water pressure here. Might try it again someday.
Very dirty found screws on asphalt and both coin dispensers had no change. Wasted some of my time coming here won’t make the same mistake again.
In the top 2 of spray bay washes in Hamilton. Always go here for a pre spray before washing my truck. Bays are always clean and operational.
Very clean and well maintained. My only concern was low water pressure.Takes longer to do whole wash proccess.Maybe for more profit?
Excellent carwash, lots of options for cleaning your vehicle. Cash or Credit accepted in wash bay. Property is well taken care of.
I paid $20 and my car still isn’t clean... with open concept and cold water there’s no way it should be open during the winter!!!
Been here a couple times and never left happy. Both coin dispensers not working, cold water, brushes leave brutal streak marks..
Little bit expensive car wash than others.. need to change their vaccums as there is not enough suction power to lift dirt...
Great car wash. All the options right in the bay, including a vacuum. The brush is great. I highly recommend this car wash.
Facilities could be better kept. Garbage / refuse on the ground and some of the functions on the car wash were not working.
Was a good experience the power hose was strong and had plenty of soap to get the job done. Will definitely go again
Overpriced and also the card machines and vacuum are almost always out of service. The owner could do better.
I've used this place for a few years now. All the machinery is well service and always in working order.
Been going there for years. Great spot for a quick and easy wash. Can usually do soap and rinse for $4.
My ex sucks better than this places vacuum. 5 minute and 4 dollars. Too much price for such weak vacuum
It works! Always leaving with a clean truck, pay a couple bucks and leave with a clean car.
It was disappointing. The vacuum didn't work. The wash bays were dirty. I'll never go back
Wand style wash, DIY, takes credit card, seemed short fort the money, but what do I know?
Nice place to clean ur car except the vacuum is not powerful and it doesnt work properly
As self serve wash bays go you probably won't find one any better than Bahama car wash!
Was ok Not the most soap I've seen coming out of the house and vacum had zero suction
Not bad, can get pricey compared to other coin-ops. The spot-free rinse trickles out
it was $5 to start. Wash any other place I've ever been to, which starts $3
Great little place always clean andost of the time excellent water pressure
I come here almost on a weekly basis to clean my car, quick easy and clean
Who carries cash these days? No one. Install an atm or shut down. Useless.
Good water pressure / Equipment works well / Bays are usually clean !
Water not hot enough to clean off ice in wheel well behind tires.
$5 minimum for vacuuming and its super is weak.. kinda pointless
Was charged $10 on my credit card for 3 minutes to rince my car!
Es muy lindo el lugar bueno para disfrutar en familia con amigos
A Good Carwash Bay. Centrally Located, Decent Cost & Well Kept.
Very weak vacuum, over priced ... and the bay actually smells
Liked that the vacuums were in the bays. Also, very clean.
Time runs a bit quick however the equipment is on point
Was good and quick. Instructions were clear as well
Good pressure, reasonable price, kept clean !!
They do a good job. Been here couple of times
Great place allows you to use credit or debit
I find this place kinda expensive actually.
Good location,gas/diesel station attached.
Clean bays, always happy with the outcome
The vacuum is very weak. The rest is OK.
Easy to use and very maintained car wash
Coin operated car was. Nothing special
Clean just like my car now Spacious
Newer facility not bad for pricing
$5 will get you a wash and rinse
Favorite card wash in Hamilton.
Cheap..and can use Credit card
Good but needs higher pressure
Coin op. You wash. Good value.
Good place to wash your baby!
Clean. Accepts credit cards
I didn't go yet lol …
Worst car wash in hamilton
More expensive than others
Clean, modern & well run!
Great coin op spray wash
It's ok not the greatest
The price is too much
Favourite car wash.
Easy and convenient
