Around 12:30 pm on January 8, 2022, I was unable to use my CVS coupon I received in the mail that can be used between January 8th-15th. I received my CVS coupon last weekend. When I attempted to use it for my purchase, the clerk gave me two reasons why I could not use it: 1) the item I was purchasing was already on sale; 2) the coupon ID does not match my member ID number. I understood the first reason, but the second reason was unbelievable to me. I admit, I responded with profanity to the second reason. Then she began to read the small print on the coupon that explains how the coupon cannot be redeemed. I asked to speak to the manager. The clerk said that she is 'the manager." I began to explain that reason number two sounded like it was an arbitrary rule because I have never encountered such a problem at any CVS store. Also, I told her that only my wife and I receive coupons from CVS. I am the main CVS shopper. No CVS employee ever denied my valid CVS coupon. I asked, if I was to purchase other items that were not on sale, would I be able to use my coupon. She said "no" because my member ID number does not match my coupon ID. I disagreed. By now, there was an audience that looked petrified. I thought I was in an episode of an angry patron video reel on YouTube or Facebook. I told her that I really do not like shopping at CVS especially for denying me the use of their coupon that they sent to me in the U.S. mail. The clerk asked me if I could use my wife's membership ID or phone number to redeem the coupon. "No, why are you asking me for her information? I am making a purchase. Are you going to allow me to use the coupon or not? Do you think that I found the coupon somewhere on the street?" I felt marginalized, and I felt like I was wasting my time patronizing their establishment. I hope none of you have to experience such lousy service.
The worse prescription service and by far the most dishonest pharmacists. Unlike Walmart's phone communications that warn you of any issues. Their system tells you your prescription is ready and if you show up after your doctor's hours, only then they tell you that you need to call your doctor. Today's pharmacist, Moon, lied repeatedly to cover for their mistakes. She told me my doctor had an emergency after hours phone number and that I should call. When confronted by another customer, she made the call, and still refused to provide even an emergency dosis which other pharmacies provide. Even another pharmacist at a different CVS location did. She was up to something because almost at closing time she was on the phone and I had to wait 20 minutes to speak to her. After years of using CVS that was the last time and I am not alone. If you scroll down to other reviews you will see similar problems with their pharmacy.. They are going to kill somebody soon.
The Pharmacy here messes up our prescription every time we have one. Most of the time it turns out they only have half of the medication available, and so we need to come back for the other half (even though we have received the notice that it is ready to be picked up). Most recently we received only half of my child's prescription for no known reason. I didn't realize until we ran out and called to verify, that they had forgotten to give us one of the bottles. It was no big deal to them and when I asked why, they simply shrugged and said I don't know. I try to be understanding but I honestly don't have the time to make multiple trips to CVS, everytime I need to pick up a prescription. Please communicate better with your customers, and do better. Sadly, I think we will be going elsewhere from now on.
The pharmacy had only one person working, but she worked hard and was very polite. It took us about 30 minutes to get a flu shot, but sometimes good customer service can reduce the wait. Plus, we had an option to go to another store or wait (the pharmacist was honest about the wait, and did her best to accommodate the long line), we chose to wait. Overall, I will come back and fill my next prescription here, hopefully, that day they will have more staff. The store (CVS) was clean, but the bathrooms (next to the pharmacy) were the worst I have seen in years (go next door to FedEx if you need to use the bathroom), however, I won't lower my review stars over the bathroom issues that most likely are managed by CVS (and not directly a result of the pharmacy).
The only highlight of this cvs pharmacy or store, is MELISSA ☺️❤️ the best Pharmacist in the whole unites states, she saved people from feeling suicidal or hopeless without even Knowing it. Others saw her as, that one pharmacist going “way too above and beyond” for clients. I see her as my Angel. I’m a singer and dedicated a song to her. Because this is exactly what an AMAzing Pharmacist should be like. Intuitive Caring Awsome Never RUSHING! I.C.A.N attitude! But thanks to her I found out I been hyper verbal due to life threatening infection. Here I was thinking that I’m crazy lol no but on the real, this woman deserves a Medal. Purple heart award! Thanks Melissa, CVS looks great only the days you work there.
Bad customer service. Over the years, it seems to get worse and worse here. It used to be so great. Now I've witnessed them accusing people of saying this extrabucks is probably not yours that's why it's not working. If they actually know the rules to extrabucks, you can't give or swap extrabucks, you can only use extrabucks from your own account. Unlike other CVS locations, they won't put up signs on the lottery machine when it's out of order. I've witnessed the staff walking away from people while they're still talking to them. Rude much. They definitely don't care about their customers and how they treat them. Self checkout here, you always need employee help. Rarely does it ever work without them.
Every single time I get a prescription filled (no exaggeration) there is an issue. My son's insurance information can never be found in their system, so I have to resubmit it to them every month. This morning I had to make five back-and-forth phone calls before the pharmacy realized my doctor is allowed to call or fax an adjustment to an existing prescription (so I didn't have drive to his office for another written prescription). There are one or two people that understand what they're doing, but the rest are not qualified and the pharmacy rarely has a prescription ready the same day.
The automatic caller told me to pick up my medicines at 08:40 PM PST and I did subscribe for alerts when my prescription is ready. So I waited till 08:00 PM, since I did not receive any alert through texts and I called CVS. They told me the pharmacy is closed. Now stranded here with no medicines. This is inhuman and they don’t even have a good customer service also. The lady at the pharmacy desk was so rude and she did not give me a chance to speak. Now I am suffering with pain. Thank you CVS for your amazing service.
I love to pick up my prescriptions here since the customer service is much better than other locations but recently I have become concerned. This is due to the pharmacy technician only wearing a face shield with no mask. There have been many studies that prove the ineffectiveness of protecting people around you by just wearing a face shield with no mask. So I am just disappointed that CVS is allowing someone to come in contact with a high risk population without proper protective measures.
don't ever try and use coupons here the clerk will say 1 of 2 things. The system doesn't recognize your member ID so the coupon is not from your account or that it has expired EVEN WHEN YOU SHOW THEM THE CORRECT DATES THESE PEOPLE WILL MAKE YOU THINK YOU ARE CRAZY WHEN ITS ACTUALLY THEM AND THE FAULTY SYSTEM THEY ARE WORKING WITH! Don't stress yourself just go to a different cvs with your coupons and avoid the drama
This is the second CVS in SoCal that would not allow us the use the restroom, even though we were making purchases. This one... the lady said it is not open. Then told us we could go to the grocery store a few shops down. I'm not from the west coast but I have years of customer service experience and that is just plain unacceptable to me...
Been coming here for a while now and since the new manager Samar has been here my shopping experience has progress immensely. Today Samar assured me Jassie would guide me to make the right purchase for the product I was seeking. Wonderful customer service and both were amazing at knowing store/ store inventory. Will definitely come back!
Worst prescription service ever. I hadn’t had my medication in a few days. Once they received the prescription they took an additional 5 hrs to get it to me. Even tho I was standing right in front of them politely asking them to please help me out. Zero compassion and never tried to go above and beyond to help me.
Very rude and unprofessional the way the staffs communicate are horrible! They just lost us—poor customer services, and poor management, actually we just moved here and We were really happy about this Cvs that was in our neighborhood. Now I need to drive some mile far to avoid rudeness and manners in this CVS
Worst and most dishonest pharmacists, will make you wait for 45 minutes and then be rude and keep transferring you to another person as they do not know how to process your prescription with the insurance, I recently transferred all my prescriptions to another CVS, so much better than this location.
Always have loved having this store. Everyone is friendly and helpful. 4 stars because they no longer have hand baskets. Please offer hand baskets makes shopping easier and it allows people to browse the store longer which means people buy more.
Imagine being in extreme pain and having to deal with a pharmacist technician who hates working there and has a huge attitude, named Monica. This is nightmare I feel sorry for whomever will be in pain and has to deal with someone so nasty
Came here today for my pain medication at 6:03 and the clerk told me while helping another costumer we are closed I said very polite is my pain medication I really need it, and she did not care at all wow. I give this CVS 0 Stars

The pharmacy is supposed to be open at 10am. They can’t open because the pharmacist didn’t know he was on the schedule. It’s really ridiculous! Waited for 40 minutes. Still waiting… terrible experience. Very unprofessional!
Hours say, "Open until 11." I got there at 10:29 and they were closed. I was in serious need of gauze for my husband's surgery incision. If you say 11, stay open until 11.
