Went in there to possibly use the bathroom , cashier Jonathan said “ there are no public restrooms here”. I thought to myself maybe I will just walk to my hotel and use the bathroom which is about 15 minute walk away. And I also wanted to buy a bottle of water so I asked Jonathan where they keep bottles of water, he stared at me for a few seconds and then said “back there on aisle”. So I went there and got the bottle of water and got in the line of customers to pay. As we are all waiting , a kind of homeless looking gentleman walks in and asks if they have bathroom. Jonathan says “ No ,we don’t have bathrrom here” and then he goes on to make a remark to the customer that is in front of him “ that was a nice little interval”, the customer says “sorry?”( One could clearly tell that the customer didn’t like to engage in that type of petty conversation) Jonathan responds “ It was a nice little break” The customer again unwilling to entertain that type of cutting remark simply shrugs his shoulders as a response to Jonathan’s crude remark. This type of remark from an employee just goes on to show the petty character of the employee. If a customer walks in to the store asking for a bathroom and as an employee you say you don’t have a bathroom. And customer says “ ok thank you” and simply turns around and proceeds to walk out the store, what’s the reason you make a snide and cutting remark such as “it was a nice little inerval” and try to pull the customer in front of you in that type of low level interaction. As Jonathan finishes helping the customer in front of me, he again keeps staring at me , doesn’t say something like “ I will take the next customer “ I can help you now “ Next customer please” Or he could have simply made a hand gesture that would tell me that he is ready to help me. But he stood there and stared at me with no smile. I thought he was going to scream angrily. I felt scared. So I walk upto to the POS (Point of sale) anyways thinking maybe that’s how it works here, they don’t say “hello, I can help you now” or “next customer please”. Maybe at this CVS location as a customer You are supposed to just walk up to cashier when you feel like it might be your turn. I walk up to him place my bottle of water on the counter , Jonathan doesn’t greet me , doesn’t smile , simply scans the bottle and I answer the prompt on the screen for donation to Diabetes foundation or research , he brought up the prompt about Diabetes again on the screen , again I answered the prompt. Then I swiped my card, and asked for a bag. He dropped the bottle of water sideways. I grabbed the bag and said “thank you, have a good day”. No response from Jonathan. I walked away from that CVS for the last time. Zero professionalism from that employee.
Low key followed me around the store for a bit which was new for them. Didn't bother me much though. I was more focused on finding something good to snack on for my night shift. I took my time and I'd suggest you do the same, don't even mind them. I've noticed most of the local businesses are acting this way now anyway, so I guess this is just a part of the "new normal'. Lastly, CVS, it would be nice if you guys carried more sugar free options.
Prescriptions take forever to get filled, I can never get through their automated system. Just keeps directing me to their application that says I have no prescriptions ready. Finally giving up on CVS as each time it’s a horrible experience. If your insurance doesn’t cover something, instead of notifying you to see if you want to pay out of pocket they just don’t fill it. Always a hassle.
Antibacterial hand wipes are in the ba k with the travel sized stuff, I walked through the whole store before I found em. Wasn't crazy busy & they have a little bit of everything. Well maintained & stocked. Didn't have to wait to pay. Recommend for last minute needs & necessities. If you enjoyed this review or found it helpful, PLEASE, give it a LIKE!
Had a minor emergency while traveling in San Diego. Stopped in at 7 AM and Sammy spent a good half hour with us trying to resolve our problem. He called other CVS stores to try to find the product we needed. He was so patient! Thank you Sammy! He did everything he could to help us!
The pharmacist refused to help me when I said I didn’t have insurance. I tried to pay out of pocket for birth control.. Extremely disappointed in the morale of the staff here. He could have also suggested planned parenthood; they offer free birth control.
I was in town for a business conference and needed an umbrella and some band aids. They seem to think that everyone who walks into the store is homeless and / or a shoplifter. I'm fortunate enough not to be either. I'll never shop at CVS again.
Do not shop here this was the first place in my life where I was racial profiled because of my skin color, yes I am black and when I went to purchase my item I was told that I need to pay for the rest of the stuff in my bag, it was the most
This is my local and most convenient CVS from where I live. I come here often. Jonathan did a great job checking me out with multiple coupons and did not need any help with an override from a manager. Someone stocking was able to direct me
I used to loathe going to this particular CVS... now I LOVE IT! The CVS on Market Street has done a complete 180°. I don't know if it's because of a new store manager or district manager but it is a pleasant experience every time I go in.
The cashier was incredibly rude today. I just stopped in for some batteries on my lunch break. He left the cash register to help someone, which was fine. In the mean time, I counted out the exact change and set it on the counter. When he
This is an above-average CVS. I have been going here for about 2 years now and it always seems to be a good experience. The staff is very nice and friendly. They always welcome me and ask me if I need any help.
Wonderful place! Most helpful customer service ever!!!! Miguel from the cash register and customer care helped out with so much enthusiasm and a smile on his face! deserves a hefty raise God bless his soul!
The layout isn’t great, there wasn’t an option besides self checkout when I went in. If I have to pay CVS higher prices compared to its competitors then I shouldn’t have to pay for bags.
They do not sell 99% isopropyl alcohol. They only sell 91% in a little spray bottle. And they are expensive. Not going back. Also the traffic is stressful and there's not much parking.
This is a CVS like every other CVS you have ever visited. Good selection of over the counter drugs, and an on-site pharmacy can be found
I never have a problem with the pharmacy. I have shopped a couple times in the store, kinda high but ain't everywhere now a days
Pharmacy is well stocked and pharmacists are helpful. Always greeted and asked if I need assistance.
Everything was great, staff, aisles etc but the no parking kills you in downtown
