This store appears stocked & ready. @ street intersection of Fourth Ave. & Broadway (northeast corner). 2 levels/floors - 1st level is street/ground, 2nd level is below street/ground level. Moving escalators between floors (up & down). Narrow width, 1 person width. Elevator, near Northeast corner in store. (Entering from front entrance, then towards left & rear corner of store. Far from entrance.) Parking not provided by store. Pharmacy on 2nd/lower level. In front of escalator (bottom). Notes. The CVS store @ the Horton Plaza Mall permanently closed & moved to this new location.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I brought my disposable camera here to get the film developed and they threw my film away. When I brought my camera in, they told me it would take about 6 weeks and they would call me when they were ready. I never received a call, so after a little time I thought I’ll just stop in to check. I sent my husband and they said they had thrown our film away because it had been too long. I went back through my phone log to verify I never got a call no voicemail or anything. One camera had my honeymoon photos and the other had my husband commission ceremony. I’m very upset I will never get to see those photos of very important moments in our lives all because they never called me to tell me my film was ready and they threw it away.

Very bad first (and last) impression. An employee (tall bearded, hair in short ponytail) was a bit of a B-word to me. I was waiting in line for the cashier, when he came over and said something about self check out and when I told him I was fine, (in other words: NO!) rather than respecting my wish, he proceeded to practically snatch the items right out of my hands and took them to self check out, where then I had to follow. And yes he rang items himself but with a "some people!" attitude and when he was done, just walked away in a further display of "kiss my behind"! So...Does it sound like I would want to return? I will not, especially if it's stuff I can just get at 7-Eleven!

I would not recommend this location. The individual that served me asked if I wanted a bag and I stated I did. After the transaction was complete, he proceeded to make a phone call without providing me with a bag. After he noticed I was still standing at the register, I pointed at the bag and he handed it to me. I then proceeded to bag my own items and leave the establishment. The individual that assisted me had short cut dark hair, male with two pierced earring. I would highly recommend going to a different CVS in the area and avoid this one if possible.

This is the biggest store in all down town. All beauty products are on the window melting in the sun ( this makes any make up expire) Perfumes and other beauty products near the register are always covered in dust ... Layers of dust. This place doesn't have enough employees , the door in the entrance. Is a piece of wood. ( scary ) the AC doenst work year around. the pharmacy area is the only area in order and clean. When they opened this location it was my favorite store. They need to have Corp come and look at it. Is not getting better just worse

I went in quickly to purchase something and I saw the door open and an employee exiting so I thought they were closed and asked if they were still open. The guy responded with well the door is open... Very rude and i told him all he had to do was say yes. I work retail I understand some people can be really stupid but you should put on a straight face and answer politely.. I'm not going back to This location.. I did have on employee approach and ask if I needed help so kudos to him but the one standing by the door needs to learn manners.

$30 for passport photos!!!!!! That's not TAKING the pics, just printing them there from a USB drive. Apparently we're supposed to think their biometric technology makes it worth it, but all that means is that there are lines to line up the chin and top of head. The same technology that jibjab.com has used for 10 years to make homemade music videos

Very helpful service over the phone. I was very ill and thank the pharmacist who made the call to my doctor to get me a prescription that was covered by my insurance, thanks for transferring me to another pharmacy that was able to get the prescription for me . Amazing pharmacy employees.

CVS is always busy in this location because of Horton Plaza. The store is small but very convenient to find. The staff welcomes you in the store. Many locals and tourists come to the store because they sell different items here at this store and great deals in the store.

I like this CVS. They normally have have their merchandise well stocked and often great discounts on cosmetics, hygiene products,and deodorants.They also carry domestic and import beers. Voila,there you have it, enjoy

In my last review to 1023 4th & Broadway ( San Diego i was having a bad day. This & other cvs stores are great one stop shop. Get your meds, and a lute lunch all in one . I retract anything negative i post last week.

Quick stop to get the last minute items you need. Wife gets an excellent selection of hair products and has self checkout. Much better than the rite aid across the street. High population of homelessness around it

The ugliest passport photo I’ve ever done. Photo was taken with “kids” (not professional) camera, without any additional lightning, from the bottom of your face. Too pricy :(

Visited on Thursday 3/24 around 6pm and the guy that was manning the self-service stations was going above & beyond to help find things, as well as check-out. Super friendly

The workers are racist and judgemental. They accused us of disappearing like we stole something so I got beligerant. I think this particular location needs better workers.

Joseph was so helpful and friendly from the time I stepped in the store. He is at the front at the register and greets each one as they enter the store.

We love this store. Employees are very friendly and helpful. It is clean and in a convenient location downtown. The CVS reward program is generous.

they actually close at 10:00 but they also close whenever they want for carpet cleaning. Is it too much to ask that you publish your actual hours?

My experience with CVS in downtown San Diego, CA was amazing. Plus I found 2 hair care products versus having to use Amazon …
