Quite bad, maybe try somewhere else. I find this place to be very very overrated. Went to see a Specialist in the Blood Unit, a female. This was after a visit 4 years ago where I saw a male specialist, who didn't show much interest in my detailed and relevant history of blood clotting. All he wanted to do in large part was show me his travel pics, for which I paid $450 for the pleasure. His advice was poor, no rationale was provided, and contradicted by the latest advice from the female. So I walked into the Blood Unit last Tuesday afternoon 8th Dec 2020 for a 2pm appointment, and found a most unpleasant female receptionist on Reception A. Aggression mixed with indifference. Finally got to see the female specialist, who didn't apologize for being some 30min late. And this was after the Reception B person said she was on time. It is quite outrageous how these people are so incompetent in this area, not unlike GP receptions etc. Basically they're lazy, lacking in relevant diligence, with an apparent disconnect between reception and specialist in this area. And it is so easy to rectify. So the female specialist was at best impolite, at worst, downright rude. I was letting her know a few very relevant thoughts of mine on Vitamin K and blood clotting. So she asked me..."do you know of any scientific reports that support what you say"...in a very sarcastic way. I said to her..."do you know of any reports that disagree with what I say". She grudgingly accepted that. Point is...there seems to be little research of note in this area. But the REAL POINT is, that she, instead of asking me about the scientific literature, should have BEEN INFORMING ME of the scientific literature. She should be excoriated for what I see as a lack of professionalism. These people apparently give lectures etc to students et al. Well, what are the unfortunate students learning? And from people without apparently a proper understanding of the SCIENTIFIC METHOD. Jesus Christ, you don't ask your patients that sort of question. A Specialist should be asking a patient probing and thoughtful questions, rather than being sarcastic and condescending. The female Specialist didn't even advise me on what the different Xarelto dosages/tablets were designed for, and whether or not there was any difference in the way the different tablets were constructed. Nor did she advise on the side affects of Xarelto, nor on the quality or efficacy of studies into long term use of Xarelto. Neither did she provide professional advice on alternatives, nor on the issues of going off the medication. Even more importantly for myself, she did not explain the basis for her statement that the blood clot she was referring to was Provoked...whilst seemingly ignoring my belief that I'd had 2 previous clotting episodes. In my view the 1st was Provoked by Vitamin K, at sea level, but as mentioned above, the Specialist became sarcastic when mentioned this. The motto of both Blood Specialists I've seen at Cabrini seems to be: "say nothing, and no liability accepted" Why don't these so-called Blood Specialists ask their patients what their diets are. Based upon my experience, that of my daughter's, and some others I've spoken to, Vitamin K being a significant contributing factor to Blood Clotting in many cases is undoubted in my view. A simple change in diet could change the quality of life, and prolong life, especially in older people, for those who seem to consume greater relative levels of Vitamin K. Blood Clot Specialists, start asking these questions and start to improve people's lives with more thoughtful advice. Don't have such fixed mindsets.
Zero stars Presented to this emergency department 22/01/2017 following adverse anaesthetic and surgical event on 20/01/2017 performed at THE AVENUE PRIVATE HOSPITAL. I was extremely unwell, my husband urging to take me to The Alfred. My dodgy surgeon aggressively urged I only go to Cabrini because he knew them there and he’d pay out of pocket (ofcourse this never happened). He told ED dr my surgery was seemless when I knew very well it wasn’t. This was a lie! It was a very violent anaesthetic with many gaps in data and bizarre experiences of waking in theatre and being cooled down, extraordinary pain (not surgical), convulsing, pulling left, struggling to breathe, right jaw locked, red/brown urine. ED dr manipulated by surgeon and showed no signs of being inquisitive despite him saying he was very suspicious something was going on. Many abnormal findings including a left pneumothorax, Substernal stranding and in my right armpit, several abnormal bloods, ecg flat p and t waves, just to list a few, not sure what it all meant , nobody in Cabrini did either. I have now just tested positive to MALIGNANT HYPERTHERMIA at the Royal Melbourne Hospital based on this horrific violent experience. All findings due to MALIGNANT HYPERTHERMIA REACTION. I always knew I was a near miss! If I went to the Alfred or Royal Melbourne Hospital they would have tested me there and then, rushed me through with urgency based on my classic features for this disorder. Surgeon would not have had chance to tell Ed drs surgery was seemless. They would have been far too suspicious as surgeon doesn’t know them. Cabrini ED dr totally missed the mark and sent me home with many abnormal findings without explanation. I should have been referred for testing urgently and an alert put on my file. HE DIDN’T EVEN REFER ME ON. Far too inexperienced! My surgeon knew but didn’t want me finding out the truth as he would have been accountable. I have spent almost 7 years dealing with the mutilation of that procedure and physical health decline. Royal Melbourne Hospital amazing and rushed me in for urgent testing very suspicious I had a Malignant hyperthermia. My case very extreme. I had many classic features. They were right. Muscle biopsy was positive. THEY ARE THE EXPERTS! Cabrini and surgeon really let me down and contributed enormously to my demise. THIS CLICK IS VERY DANGEROUS you lose control of the situation and become very easily manipulated to suit their agenda! DON’T let this happen to you. Go straight to your nearest public hospital. They are much more experienced and equipped to deal with adverse events AND WILL FIND OUT CAUSE! AHPRA will not help you, they refused to acknowledge the gravity of my situation!
There is so much one could write in relation to inadequacy, but if you are really wanting to understand the true meaning of the word, Cabrini Hospital's accounting department is really the epicentre of all that just doesn't work. After an unfortunate accident, we made the horrible decision to attend Cabrini. A mistake that we will never, ever repeat, under any circumstances. However, after being somewhat patched up, they were going to transfer my file to The Alfred, to manage from there, citing that someone would be in touch with me within 7 days, which was imperative to my situation. This did not happen and despite my many, many phone calls and The Alfred confirming that Cabrini had NOT referred me, at which time they gave in and said to come in, and get seen immediately. Upon arrival, no one was aware of my predicament, and I had to explain the situation yet again, and they advised they couldn't help, and to return home. After many tears and upset, I called my partner to come and fetch me, and advised my visit had been futile. As I was leaving in my wheelchair, a doctor reluctantly came out and said he could see me and that it would be considered follow up from the initial appt, and therefore not charged. It is disgusting that the process had to take so long and get so ugly, when 15 days had passed and my broken bones were doing their own thing unsighted, without any follow up care, due to their hopelessness. I have since received not only bills for the follow up I was advised was NOT being charged, I have also received duplicate bills of bills already sent, as well as bills for things that didn't happen. Speaking with their hostile accounts department has not improved the situation at all and it is very clear indeed that Cabrini has no idea how to treat people, but also how to mange the back-end of things, with a ridiculously messy accounts process that does not reflect happenings. I was advised I would need to write a letter in relation to each account that was wrongly charged, instead of Cabrini sorting it for me. I fail to understand why a patient should have to take the time to correct the overwhelming errors of a department and indeed a hospital that is getting everything so wrong, and just billing people willy-nilly, in an attempt to get whatever monies they can, rather than what is actually owed, and is right and correct. There would be no circumstances that anyone in our family would ever visit Cabrini Hospital again and it is with great disgust that I write this review and with zero intention of tidying up their ridiculously messy patient accounts department.
I have been going to the Pathology clinic few times by now, but my recent visit was just awful. The lady who supposedly helping me was so aggressive when I asked her a question. Thereon it was just going down the hill. Not only that she raised her voice on me. Her response to my questions are very aggressive and unnecessary. If she doesn’t know, or she doesn’t think she can do it, she could simply said no like a normal person would. During my blood was taken by her colleague, she proceed to push a paper next to me, ask me to sign. *Note this* this happened, While my left hand still laying on the armrest of the chair with needle and all that on me. (So, ok obviously she didn’t see that I was busy). Still I didn’t say anything. I thought ok, that’s a bit rude, but i’ll sign anyway. Where I saw my name on it. Not long after, still, during my blood still taken. The lady who asked my to sign came back and said ‘you still haven’t sign this???’. Well then I told her that I did sign but it appears to be on a different space on the paper, not where she wants me to. And ask her to wait until my blood finish being taken since it was hard for me to navigate and I didn’t see the other line on the paper where she wanted me to sign at the first place. (She was not happy with this). I was appalled with her attitude. She had no empathy AT ALL or even a patience to wait. I could hardly moved when I tried to sign the first time. The whole time was just AWFUL. When her colleague arrived to assist, she was standing next to the first lady for awhile. I pay attention that she had long and short nails, with broken nail polished with some of them were chipped. I know that this may be her personal choice of grooming, but, I thought given the environment I was in the hospital. I don’t think its appropriate to have this sort of display. I think hygiene and grooming is very important in the hospital environment. Apart from that, she was actually quite helpful and calm. I undertand that Cabrini Hospital is an older building (the original) but I always thought the hospital is lovely. I’m not expecting a 5 star service, but this is a big private hospital, I didn’t expect to be yelled at either. The main reception was helpful, when I asked to speak with the management for feedback, unfortunately no one was available. So I decided to write on here. I hope this feedback can lead to a better care for others who come visit after me.
I came here as my first experience three years ago was fantastic! But now this hospital have taken a drastic change and is a NIGHTMARE! Really disappointed considered this is a private hospital and still having to pay regardless of private health getting through to the emergency. I was given a room filled with other people with curtains only and the nurse mentioned most people next by have Covid, which other hospital usually separate them in different areas but that’s not the big issue. The nurse were so rough inserting my cannula and one of them really struggled but went ahead to keep on swirling the needle and pushing deeper causing me in pain. I already had a bad feeling in regards to staying overnight after always waiting for at least 5 hours to be seen by a doctor each time. The only good thing is their Radiologist she was very thorough and attentive. One of the doctor was quite friendly and tried to be attentive as well but I was already super exhausted as I wasn’t able to sleep. The Radiologist found a mass on both of my ovaries and the night ED doctor suggested I stay overnight, to be seen by a gynaecologist. Which I ended up seeing their gynaecologist, she was super dismissive and wanted to do a surgery that is not related to my scan and I knew it’s was off so I decided to get discharged to get a second opinion. She was also on her phone rushing to a different patient in a different practice and barely looked at my medical file. I did a research on her and seen so many other people getting forced upon unnecessary surgery with her just for the money and ended up with new health issue instead. 300 dollars just to speak to her for hardly even 5 minutes with her mind flying everywhere, she shouldn’t be paid but sued. It’s unbelievable how this hospital would hire her and how she even has a medical license. She literally treat people like a piece of meat and take people’s life as part of her butcher experiment. I am so glad I decided to leave. But thank you to the Radiologist for her great work and I finally have a bit of an answer. So if you think Private Hospital, means better treatment you’re completely wrong. Save your money and you will get better treatment in public hospitals. Such a shame and disappointing!
Cabrini hospital refused to allow a rural patient to stay overnight. I’ve been told for several weeks prior to surgery that someone must pick me up after surgery, and supervise me for 24 hours. That’s difficult to organize when I live in Shepparton. So I found a friend to pick me up. It wasn’t ideal because he lives over one hour from Cabrini hospital and he wasn’t used to driving in city traffic. But it was the best I could do. Upon arrival to theatre, I was asked if I’m staying over night. Are you kidding me? You ask now? Why wasn’t I told I can stay overnight before my admission date? This is a serious double standard of the hospital. Not even the pre-admission nurse who rang a few days before offered an overnight stay. How could I stay overnight NOW when I had a friend to drive me back to his home? Ideally, I should have been told I’m welcome to stay overnight prior to my admission. I’ve been told for several weeks I must have a friend pick me up. I’m not allowed to stay overnight. Then I’m offered to stay overnight at the last hour. Immediately after surgery I was kicked out with my friend. It was peak hour traffic, my friend had to dodge erratic drivers, he slammed his breaks hard several times to avoid collisions. I was tossed around aggressively and my wound started to bleed profusely. I put up with a very bumpy drive for 1.5 hours. I arrived at my friends place a nervous wreck and bleeding. I continued to bleed throughout the night. At 2am I rang nurse on call who wanted me to go to emergency. I told her I had just driven from a hospital that should have kept me overnight. I didn’t want to go to another hospital. Understandable, right? The surgery was to correct scars from a previous botched operation many years ago. I’m convinced the aggressive car ride has pulled the stitches jeopardising the surgery. This would have been prevented if Cabrini allowed me an overnight stay. Then I’d simply catch a train home the following day. This is how rural patients get treated. We should all be offered a room overnight after surgery since we live so far away. Afterall, we pay the excess fee of $500 that gives us a right to an overnight stay. Disgraceful treatment Cabrini hospital – shame on you all.
If there is 0 star, I will give it to Cabrini. Back in early Jan 2023, I was referred by my GP to Cabrini to receive intravenous antibiotics due to swelling in my foot. The reception in the ED asked me to complete a form, provided my Medicare and Medibank information, and I paid $485. At that time, I inquired about any additional out-of-pocket expenses as I was covered by private insurance, and I was clearly told there would be none. I was then placed on a bed in a ward. A doctor examined my foot and, after assessing it, decided not to administer IV antibiotics and no treatment is required, but asked me to take an ultrasound test on my foot. Since there will be no treatment plus I had several meetings that day, I specifically asked whether I could return home first and had the test later if still needed. The doctor told me he would inform me of the expected waiting time; if it was lengthy, I could leave and have the tests done at my GP, but if it was short, I could have them done at the hospital. Later, he informed me that the test could be done quickly, so I proceeded with it at the hospital. It took me more than 6 hours to finish the test and wait for result. In the end I was discharged without any treatment. During the checkout process, I once again inquired at the front desk whether there were any additional out-of-pocket expenses beyond the $485 I had already paid, and I was told there were none. A few weeks later, I received the test invoice, after discussing the matter with Cabrini accounting team, I was informed that I had never actually been admitted to the hospital. Does Cabrini expect an ordinary consumer to identify the difference between an outpatient ward and an admission ward? Not to mention I was informed by your staff there will be no additional out-of-pocket expense, plus no treatment at all, totally misleading!!! Even worse, after I raised a compliant to CRM Cabrini, received feedback telling me the invoice will be put on hold until review is done. Since then, no one from Cabrini has communicated with me. Last week, I got a letter from collector chasing payment, what an arrogant and disgraceful act! Stay away from Cabrini!
If I could give zero I would. After my husband died recently, and notifying Cabrini as his treating facility, I arrived home on Thursday 7/7/22 to find a letter of demand for an outstanding account from Cabrini's debt collection service in my letterbox. My hubby's most recent admission on 20/4/22 at Cabrini was a stay of 9 days. I asked the staff on the day of his discharge 29/4/22, if there was anything I needed to pay of which I was advised "it's all sorted". Did I know of this bill, absolutely not. Did I receive a phone call from Cabrini Accounts Dept/reminder to pay for this bill, NOT AT ALL. My husband died on 16/5/22, some 17 days after his discharge from Cabrini and we are still grieving, trying to sort out documentation, finances etc. To receive the letter of demand so soon and addressed to my deceased husband was upsetting, disrespectful and disturbing. The demand stated my husband had less than 7 days to pay the account advising, "If your payment is not received, further action for the recovery may be instigated without further notice to you". Is that threatening??Are you really threatening a family who has just lost their husband, father and the person who was the main income worker? Having to be the Carer for my husband over the last 17 months of his life, I have not worked at all during this time. I have not earned an income or received Gov handouts during the time of Caring for my husband. Cabrini's collection service also charged me an additional $85 for sending the letter of demand pictured below. Cabrini, sort yourselves out. This is the last in a long line of despicable behaviour we have experienced during the 17months of so called care from your Malvern facility. You are a joke, your management is a joke and to anyone who makes a complaint, DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING TO CHANGE!!! They simply do not care about anything or anyone. It's just about making revenue I never said I would not pay for the "account". I simply did not know about said "account" and you sent the debt collectors!!!! Your lack of empathy, consideration and judgement of what is acceptable behaviour is disgusting.
Cabrini Hospital has some serious issues that need addressing. Call bell response was minimum 20min and up to an hour for the patients. I witnessed patients who had been hospitalised on Level 3 confined to a bed over a week where loved ones were demanding compression stockings at the least as they were concerned about clotting. I witnessed food delivered to patients that I touched that was cold. When asked if they were under staffed it was confirmed they were fully staffed. Let’s now talk about the Hospital Co-ordinator that was on the afternoon shift on the 23/03/23 named Mary! When I introduced myself and asked if I can have a moment of her time her response was “Make it quick as I’m busy”. She is aggressive in her tone and outright abrupt. A co-ordinator who respresents the Hospital in such a way needs to be Performance Managed due to her Professional Conduct. What a poor representation of Cabrini. The Public Hospitals personnel deliver exceptional service and not to mention the likes of Epworth Private. The excuse of Covid is long gone and if your not asking Visitors, Patients or staff not to mask up then what’s your excuse for delivering poor service. I feel the Hospital Cafe employees could definitely teach a thing or two to Mary, the Hospitality and Housekeeping division on how to manage with pressure. I was not a Patient but attended twice and sharing my observations. Can’t rely on the sympathy of Covid as an excuse to justify the poor service. All industries have been impacted by such and continue to uphold their values. Senior Executives need a hard awakening!
Firstly I want to acknowledge how under pressure the hospital system has been the last few years and I appreciate staff have so much on their plates. That said, my mother has just been discharged and I am somewhat horrified by what she tells me of her experience here. After her abdominal surgery she was left to shower on her own (she is 76 years of age and was on strong pain killers). After this shower she vomited and nearly fainted (thankfully she didn’t as she was on her own). She also had quite a lengthy wait for pain relief as her request for pain relief was forgotten. The morning after an evening surgery she articulated that she was not ready to go home and was still discharged (I appreciate beds are needed so perhaps this could not be helped). She was sent home and collapsed unconscious in her bathroom that afternoon (fortunately she had a friend in with her who caught her). The whole experience sounded so distressing and I feel like basic care wasn’t there - even after her surgery she asked for food (she hadn’t eaten for over 24 hours) and they had not food - eventually supplying half a frozen sandwich. She is questioning why she has bothered paying for private health insurance for the last 40 years today.
My was wife recently admitted to Cabrini for three days. The hospital facilities are run down, the linen on the bed had holes and was an awful nylon fabric that didn’t even fit the bed. The nursing staff were aware of the poor quality linen and admitted that the sheets didn’t fit the beds with the excuse “that’s what they give us”! The food was inedible and the soup served for lunch was served again diluted for dinner. The staff are largely disengaged and indifferent. The corridors are dim, dark and depressing. Overall it was a very poor experience that simply added to the stress of her illness. Cabrini offers a third world facility at great cost to the patients and it is unlikely that either my wife or I would chose this hospital again for future medical care. I don’t believe that our concerns are unique and I believe that there is a general view that the hospital has declined in recent years. It is a sad indictment on the hospital management that they can’t meet even the most basic patient needs - comfortable bed, good food and pleasant environment.
CHRISTIAN VALUES?! DON'TMAKE ME LAOUGH OR CRY. Last night, 1 August 2021, I was presented to Cabrini emergency department by ambulance with a strong chest pain. As I have Privte insurance I believed that should be a place for me to be admtted for immediate attention as the chest pain is one of the major symptoms for heart attack. Met in the unwelcoming badly lit ER I was told that to be seen for sdmittion I have to pay $480 on the spot - not covered by anything and not refunded.. That is not counting for the $500 excess. The nurse told me that was a payment for the doctor at admittion. I am Bella Lukinova, 81 y.o.Centrelink pensioner, a migrant, living in a rented flat under My Aged Care support. Neither my excrutiating pain, nor personal circustances were of interest or concern for this hospital. AND THEY CALLED IT NON-FOR PROFIT ORGANISATION?! Because I was not able to pay this money, let alone being in shock by that blant demand, the ambulance then took me to the Monach Medical Centre. There I did receive proper attention snd cre. DISGUSTED!
Presented with chest/breathing problems. Directed to station to give all admin details and make payment. All very streamlined, then waited and was taken to a isolation room. They apparentley should not have sent me to waiting room as l am highly infectious. When in room lost all cell and wifi. Asked many staff none had any idea of hospital wifi codes. 6 hours later at desk again to make outstanding payment. I mentioned that maybe it was a admin role that they tell people how to access hospital wifi as this was an ideal momment. They certainly were able to take money and l signed for my insurance. The slim older woman wirh blond grey hair let me know very aggresively that it was not her job. While at the far end of the counter was a business card with wifi details..... Just appaling her lack of care. Surely patients maintaing contact with family, matters as the hospital phone also did not work in room, however she could not care less and let me know that. The rest of the staff are amazing. After tests l have Influenza A.
Someone from the account team has contacted my wife a few weeks ago (from un unknown number). My wife explained the situation and that person said that the hospital will dismiss the additional charges (extra hidden chargez) despite paying the full amount at the emergency department. That’s why we consider this harassment. In addition, the respected emergency doctor discharged my son and said he can leave without any medical treatment while he had a friction in his ankle. Despite the error and inexperience, the doctor made the visit as LOW-level emergency and I paid 500 dollars from my own pocket while I am a student and don’t work. My insurance refused to refund me the amount because the receipt was low level. This is also not fair as it should have given as medium or high given the fraction, he had in his leg. Despite all of this, the hospital kept bothering us for 100 dollar! This is the worst hospital I ever seen in my life and I will never visit it again. I will make sure to share my feedback online
Awesome and professional team working together efficiently for care of patients: Today I had my day procedure for bronchoscopy at Cabrini hospital. Right from the time I arrived at the hospital, staff were courteous, well informed, caring, and outstanding. My special thanks to Dr Barton Jennings, anesthetist Julie and the entire team who were lovely, efficient, very professional with excellent communication skills. My only suggestion to Cabrini Hospital management would be to upgrade their IT system for patients via an online portal where patients can complete all their details on line (similar to Epworth Hospital, Richmond) rather than the paper and phone system used by the hospital to collect information before patient's arrival. The on line portal would be a far better and efficient system both for the patients as well as the hospital. Hospital experiences can be challenging but Cabrini staff are making a fabulous effort to make this experience a pleasant one. Thank You Cabrini staff and management.
I have been a patient of Heart Specialist Bruno Martin. I have been diagnosed with multiple vessel heart disease. I am due to have a stress test next week as part of ongoing treatment. Today I had Angina pains and after ringing Martins rooms was told I should go to Emergency, which I did and went to Cabrini Malvern. I was admitted to emergency where the doctor on duty - after doing many tests- said I was too sick to go home, had to be admitted straight away for further testing. With that he looked into my insurance cover and found out I was not covered for Cardiac! And then he basically didn’t want to know me!! And suddenly I wasn’t that sick anymore and could go home!! Absolutely appalling! I am so disgusted and disappointed, I really not sure what to do, but I really want everyone to know how the hospital treats people. I have to rate one star to post this but my experience and treatment deserve no stars.
I just wanted to thank all the staff at Cabrini once again for looking after me in my stay there. This is the second time I have been here in the last month due to complications but like the first time I was treated with such care and compassion I almost wanted to stay a few extra nights! and I hate hospitals!!!. I wanted to give a special mention to nurse Hideo Fijise ( Hope the spelling is correct?) who ALWAYS went over and above to ensure my stay on both occasions was as pleasant as possible. This particular nurse was outstanding in every way and I cant thank him enough for his efforts and kind heart. Hideo was a great representation of ALL of the nursing and help staff at Cabrini and I cant thank the team enough for taking care of me and making my stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you for everything Cabrini, you represent excellence in the medical and care industry. Kind Regards, Todd Spark.
My husband was a day patient at Cabrini, for cancer treatment. John & I were so GRATEFUL, the staff connected us to palliative care. Melbourne private Hospital nurse REFUSED us Palliative care, saying 'there were no nurses, as melbourne is in lock down.' In the same 6 th Melbourne Lockdown, CABRINI staff organised Palliative care. The Palliative care nurse arrived at our home, the next morning. We were only at Cabrini Hospital for a few hours, & we were so impressed how active & efficient the staff were. John had 22 days in Melbourne Private, he lost over 30 kilos in weight. & discharged with NO discharge plan. Unfortunately My husband passed away, but I will never forget, the genuine care of Cabrini staff, & their ability to connect us to appropriate services. I highly recommend Cabrini Hospital.
My 88 year old mother was admitted in March/April and was there with many complex issues for 2 weeks. One night (A Friday night) she was in a crazy amount of pain. Nurses could only just look at her and offer her panadol. They seemed very uneasy when asked to call a doctor and we were told there was not doctor in the hospital. What??!! How can this be? I had to ask the question again and again in disbelief. We had to wait over 3 hours for a doctor to come and see mum and finally give her morphine and follow up with tests to see why the pain had started. Animals are not left unattended when in pain. It is devastating to see that this takes place.. The positive: My goodness what a beautiful room we had in the Acute Aged Care ward! 6 star hotel! Maybe they think it's a hotel, not a hospital??
Disappointed with the hospital management in regards to their subcontractor standards. Epworth Hospital is taking cleaning services from non complied contract cleaning company. We are staff of Mediclean and suppling cleaning services to Epworth hospital. *We are not receiving correct hourly rates. (Only few staff members do get correct rates) *We are not getting overtime penalty rates. *We are not entitled for sick leave even we permanent staff. We are not able to get sick leave and It’s very unfair for the community in this situation. Hope it’s not hospital managements duty to check if the subcontractor is complied with Australian regulations. We have informed to hospital management in few occasions and hope they should take an action against those illegitimate cleaning companies.
Dear Cabrini Malvern. I cannot thank Cabrini & every staff from the emergency to being admitted. The Security Officer on duty the night of Friday 19/11/21 was courteous and ever so helpful - thank you. The best hospital for duty of care with all my needs attended to with a gorgeous healing smile. But importantly the skill dedication attention to care and detailed knowledge doubled experience & expertise. . I am a cancer patient for 4 years & I can not imagine my healing without my oncologist Gary & in his absence Chris. My stay was fabulous. Thank you to the admin’s, every staff nurse doctor pharmacists cleaners kitchen staff. Well organised. Excellent hygiene. The new wing is phenomenal. Keep up the high standard. If I searched in a haystack for anomalies I couldn’t find one.
I had my first baby here and the strict restrictions really ruined my stay. My baby was struggling to breastfeed so I asked if my sister could drop off some colostrum I had collected and my husband could meet her in the carpark and grab it. Nope! If he left the building he wasn’t allowed back up to our PRIVATE room. Instead it was suggested we offer formula, what the?! Because of their over the top covid rules I decided to have my second baby at Peninsula Private and it was a much better experience, my toddler could come and visit for as long as we liked and I actually ended up preferring the actual hospital too. The Cabrini rooms look nice but didn’t have some essential things like a fridge in the room also parking was much more expensive.
Terrible experience - almost lost a family member due to Prof Albert Frauman’s negligence & laziness. Wrong diagnosis, wrong treatment, refused to change tack, didn’t even visit in hospital when we pleaded him to. Transferred her to Epworth - new diagnoses, different treatment, immediate turnaround. Only then did Prof Frauman reach out and make an effort to engage, possibly from fear of malpractice. Arrogant & incompetent. Nursing staff were not much better - night shift nurse spent all night on his phone instead of attending to patients. Another nurse who helped with showering was so cruel & inhumane that even animals would receive kinder treatment. I have nothing to gain from posting this, but I hope it helps others.
Rheumatologist Dr Adam Scott Charlton has completely changed my life. I was told to get a second opinion by workers at the Cabrini Elsternwick outpatient centre and it is the best thing I've ever done. My previous rheumatologist lied and said that I didn't have anything wrong with me and that i was 'thinking myself into' the pain I was suffering with. Dr Scott Charlton told me the real results of my scans and promptly started me on the correct medication. I have never trusted a doctor more and it is very clear that he has his patients' best interests at heart, I truly feel that he has saved me life from a very painful and tiresome experience. Dr Scott Charlton is the blueprint for an amazing doctor.
Really lovely hospital and staff work very hard. I took my wife in last week because she collapsed at home, thank God nothing serious but had a sudden slow heart rate and fall in her blood pressure; just a very bad fainting episode. Doctors and nurses in ED are just beyond the best, so grateful to them all. Only really major negative is the car park cost. I was with my wife for 6 hours until tests and she was cleared, and then we were stung with a car park fee. The hosptial needs to really understand that when dealing with sick people (and relatives), taxing us with insane car park costs is so unkind. This is NOT a reflection on the doctors/nurses, but the administration of the hospital.
I cannot believe how well I was treated, being from interstate without visitors, I was feeling a little sorry for myself at times, but I didn’t need too. After spinal surgery I was a week in hospital & a week in the rehabilitation section of the hospital. I was so well looked after, in fact I felt spoilt, I was made so comfortable & the staff just couldn’t do enough for me. My care was amazing, the food was amazing, the rehabilitation was amazing & all staff I was in contact with including ALL the nurses, food administrators, Doctors, Nutritionists & Dietitian’s, I just couldn’t believe how well I was looked after & cared for. I would highly recommend Cabrini to EVERYONE. Thank you
I am here at Cabrini Malvern and have just had knee surgery. The entry staff and process was great. The care and professionalism shown was above any expectation. To the staff on the second floor and namely the nurses Jess, Louis, Richard and Karan who have looked after me, you are wonderful people and so professional with your duties. The systems in place run like clockwork, the food has been excellent and the support and reception staff are courteous and informed. It is a credit to the management as the facilities are brilliant. But the real asset is the staff at the cold face. To the surgeon team, thank you for your empathy, kindness and professionalism. Great job - Bernie Rm 263
Took my 13yo to get a blood test at Cabrini Malvern. The lady at reception was rude, ordering patient to “take a seat” not once she said please or smiled.she was very abrupt. Then the nurse came to take blood, it was his first time and was very nervous. We have our share of experiences at Cabrini being a family of 5 living around the corner and found it always great, this time was a bad experience.I get everyone needs to build their experience and in order to achieve that you need to practice, however the nurse we had kept pushing and wiggling the needle in causing a lot of pain to him as she could not get any blood in the vile. He nearly fainted, terrible experience.
Worst experience ever!! Kept me in the pre admission 4 hours get there at 1 they operate at 6pm I of course hadn’t eaten. So I was supposed to have private room - nope end up in a ward then it’s now 8 pm starving sorry the kitchens closed great so now I haven’t eaten since 6am ... They give me the bed next to the toilet so the lights on all night i hardly slept. I’ve had over 13 surgeries first time here and hopefully the last!! I have top top cover yet I’m basically in a public ward paying private rates!! If I could give zero stars I would!! Im sure this stress isn’t good for my recovery - worst hospital experience I’ve ever had. Cabrini Malvern - not good enuff!!
I came out of the Emergency department feeling great! I had an embarrassing but frightening encounter with a pair of ducks while playing golf. I ended up with a very nasty open wound to my shin. Sadly I didn't make it to the Cabini for a couple of days but then I was so grateful to be cared for by A/Prof Keith Joe who is not only charming but inspires complete confidence in his ability and interest in wound management. All of his colleagues were warm and friendly especially Catherine who I met several times across 3 visits. My wound is healing slowly but well with no infection. I feel I couldn't have received better care from kinder people anywhere. Thank you!
Nice building, nice ward. If it is regarded as the hospital retreat, it gets all you want, nothing to complain. But if you are dying, and especially do not have any private insurance, don't forget private hospital is still about business. You are not welcomed here because of you are dying and they are afraid you don't pay. Just like you wear in rags is not welcomed in this high level shopping mall. My father got cancer and needs some urgent procedure to be done by the specialist who works in this hospital. We are shut away even after I have paid the surgery fee in advance. How ridiculous it is! hospital is not about saving life, it is about holiday.
The nurses had my elderly mother ring me to pick her up instead of them. Thought that was part of their job not hers. Not happy having to chase her around the hospital for 20 minutes because no one actually knew where she was. Didnt appreciate being told to give an alcohol dependant a glass of wine when we get home. Yes it would have been noted on her file. That’s part of the reason she was in there!! As for Tiffany at information- never have I met such a rude and power tripping person in all my life. Learn some manners. Telling me you won’t tell me where my mum is until I put my 3rd mask on is utterly disgusting. You should be stood down.
Was in pain for 4 days after Surgery, nurses couldn’t understand me and there was no communication on what was happening, when I could eat solids or stand up. Had a breathing device I was told to use but never explained what it was and what I needed to do. Had a pain rating of about 7 for most of my 4th day their and had no assistance, “sorry we can’t do anything” When you called for a nurse you would never get one within 2 minutes, usually 3-4. I would highly recommend not attending here is you can. I was practically tortured for 4 days, I am leaving on my own to go to a different hospital in the hope for better care.
Admitted to ER with chest pain and shortness of breath. Staff and treatment at ER was very good. Then admitted to a shared 4 bed ward which was awful. Not blaming the patients but 1 groaned and moaned for hours and hours poor fellow, another talked on his phone all day and another had TV on loud and snored v badly. No peace and quiet, no sleep which is v bad for health and mental health. Cabrini then mucked up test scheduling wanted to keep me for another day or 2 to run 2 more tests but by then I may have been insane. Get rid of your antiquated 4 bed ward system. I'll never go back to Cabrini.
Worst hospital ever for customer care I was really disappointed and really upset that the way they treated me when I called to asked about my sister and her new born who was in the ICU we had no way to contact her and called the hospital just wanna know she is ok but they just hang up saying they can not give any information. Because of the covid we can not visit them and it’s totally understandable and just want to know she is ok. But no one helped. It’s about humanity I called few other hospitals and ask can they give any information about someone they all were happy to help.
I am appalled at how my brother in law was treated last night in emergency. The doctors and clerical staff cared more about money than the urgent needs of the patient in front of them. The doctor was incompetent and unprofessional. The nurse I spoke to in preparation for his arrival was an absolute disgrace. If your staff are so busy they would rather push patients elsewhere then perhaps you should review your staffing or hire people that actually want to be in the medical field. It caused so much stress and anxiety on an already disabled patient. Poor. Pathetically poor!
It was a disappointing experience I had at the Cabrini, I wasn't expecting this bad service at the Cabrini privitte hospital. It was the worst experience I ever had, public hospitals are way better than this hospital Cabrini understaffed, long waiting on the operating table, I lied down half sleep in the operating theatre waiting for someone to come I stayed there more than 3 hours by myself, for a 20minute procedure.. poor, extremely poor service, A should tell this, I waited at the hospital for 15 hours for that 20 minute procedure...
Cabrini Malvern.... Professor Lara Lipton Professor Finlay Mcrae Miss Jenny Senior And all other doctors and the wonderful nurses at this hospital are truly amazing. For all the things they have done to save my life and make things easy for me, words cannot explain my gratitude thank you Cabrini and your wonderful working standards and wonderful staff! all of yourl staff, no matter what their positions, nothing has been a problem for anyone and all willing to offer help at every stage ❤ Magdaline Holden Sujka Forever grateful
VERY BAD HOSPITAL. Very poor quality of machines and equipments, I wouldn’t tell that it is a private hospital just by looking at it. The service was okay even though that they didn’t have a single bedroom + took me outside in a really outdated wheelchair. I paid for them AND STILL DID NOT RECEIVE THE RECEIPT, even though I have sent them an email about it after receiving their email about me having an overdue payment “I paid them 9 days prior”. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AND I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO THERE.
My dad was in overnight. Easy parking, helpful reception staff, good cafe, caring and professional nursing staff who listened to my concerns and were attuned to my dad's needs on discharge. Good covid protocols with free masks on entry. We left an iphone charger in the room, they called to advise and I picked it up 2 days later - packaged with my dad's details, in and out in only 3 minutes. It demonstrates a high level of organisation. The 10 minute car parking out the front was helpful. Good service.
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL IN AN EMERGENCY. They are just in it for profit and not care or compassion. Have to pay $500 to get in. They are not clear on fee’s and what you can claim back etc in a traumatic experience for us. The service in there was shocking giving us incompetent doctors with no idea what they are doing just clearly getting overnight overtime. Still getting random bills in the post 2 months down the line which aren’t clear. If you are torn, go public do not waste time or money here !
I went in for brain surgery and ended up getting 0 sleep and an item taken away from me. The drills and building team were super loud making it hard for everyone in the childrens department to sleep. They also almost moved me and another patient BOTH with serious issues to the normal hospital area. If you want to house people EXPECIALLY CHILDREN i would recomend getting more rooms AND a proper bed for the parent. PLUS i was only allowed 1 relative PER DAY. Their macarons are really good though.
Extra fees that were never mentioned! A year after giving birth they sent me another bill for $500 because they took my baby down to special care which he did not need. Nobody mentioned it to me that it would cost anything and just made it out that I would be able to get some rest while baby was down there. Talk about tricking people in to extra fees. Plus the room is tiny. The nurses have too many patients to look after. Better to go public. Not really worth the extra money.
Just taking the opportunity to write a review after returning home from a TURP (prostate) operation at Cabrini, Malvern. Considering so many negative reviews/discussions re the hospital system at present l can only say thank you to the amazing surgeon and nurses/staff at Cabrini, particularly on the north ward. Being my first major operation at 66 everyone understood my concerns and anxiety. The cleanliness, care, clarity of my recovery etc was exceptional. Again, Thank you.
Our baby boy was born here October 2022 and we had an emergency visit in March 2023 Staff do look run off their feet half the time but they are friendly and helpful. We had a nice experience here and are greatful for the facility Update: My mother visited from QLD and had a fall in April 2023 at our house she went to Cabrini ER and stayed about 2 weeks She had a fantastic stay ! She was VERY well looked after and remembers her visit well (She's 93) Thank you Cabrini staff
I recently was operated on for a repair to the mitral valve of my heart. I spent 6 days in the Gandel Wing's cardio section and cannot speak too highly of my care. All my doctors, nurses, physios and admin staff were very caring people and highly skilled at their tasks. Each discipline interacted seamlessly and it followed that the standard of care was excellent. I thank all those involved and express that the city of Melbourne possesses such a high quality hospital.
My partner was here for two weeks. He was treated poorly by doctors and nurses. For example he was told he would be having a general anaesthetic at 7am and had to fast from midnight prior. I rang the hospital at 5pm to see if the operation was still going ahead, I was told on the phone that the procedure had been cancelled that morning! They left my partner starving all day. Also through out his stay he was left in pain for two hours at a time.
The staff on level 3 and those in the operating theatre took excellent care of both my physical and emotional needs last week. I was very impressed with the nurses' knowledge, expertise and very caring attitude. The staff are exceptional and I would highly recommend Cabrini Malvern. The nurses help those in their care with respect, kindness and compassion; I could not have asked for better care. A massive thank you from me to you.
I spent many hours in Emergency yesterday and my husband and I were given excellent care. We were treated with great respect with everything explained clearly and quietly with no feeling of being rushed. Wonderfully reassuring doctors and nurses who patiently answered all our questions. Besides, the emergency area was a great improvement with the new renovations. Quite comfortable! Thank you for the expert advice, care and attention.
The ED Cabrini is a very professionally managed team of doctors Drew, Jason and Mehul were fantastic to deal with. Proactive and compassionate. The nurses Catherine and Grace were simply wonderful to deal with. And Dinni was awesome and her warmth was infectious!! And follow up experience with the nursing staff April was also very good! Overall a very reassuring and a comforting experience. MY love and best to the whole team!!
We had our baby at Cabrini - all the staff and midwives were absolutely beautiful. They were compassionate and caring. I felt like i was in good hands the whole time. Thank you to every single person that took care of me and my family. From the cleaning lady to the nurses and midwives. The rooms were amazing, daily cleaning and the food was delicious. Thank you for making a somewhat difficult birthing experience not so bad.
My daughter stayed there and had surgery. I would have to say I was shocked when I read some bad reviews. The nurses and staff at the hospital are lovely and work from heart. They care and take pride of their work. The vibe of the hospital feels more spiritual and healing than being just a cold hospital feeling. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you to all the Cabrini staff and management keep up the great work
Have had 3 stays here over last year. Previous to this brilliant. Now the food is disgusting and you are lucky to get what you order. Have not had one edible meal and even reliable sandwiches are ghastly. Nursing staff still lovely and efficient. Physio's fantastic and rooms clean . So disappointing to see such rapid deterioration. Does have superb surgeons and physicians. Gordon Ramsay needs to visit!
If I could give zero it would be zero. If you look through my reviews I try to stay positive however I would not recommend Cabrini Malvern Emergency Department. This used to be a fantastic hospital, but please if you love someone consider a different private hospital emergency department. The Ambulance can recommend others. In my opinion, this hospital needs an investigation and major improvements.
Forever grateful to the wonderful Doctors, Nurses and staff at Cabrini for making my stay absolutely wonderful, for being so thorough in the tests that were performed to make sure they ruled out every other concern and gave me the correct diagnosis and treatment. I felt safe, looked after, and the staff was just so friendly that it made my stay so much better. Thank you. Will be forever grateful!
Recently back home after 3 weeks treatment and what an amazing experience. Doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, kitchen staff and cleaners all devoted and committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible. Nice to see so many student nurses starting their careers and may I say that you are angels on earth and deserve every dollar you earn with odd working hours. Thank you ALL
Spent 6 days here after my 10th procedure on my ankle. Everyone extremely friendly I must also mention my nurse Hideo an absolutely fantastic Japanese guy who was simply amazing. He could not be more helpful and polite and ran around to do his job. All nurses should watch this guy and learn how it should be done so a massive thanks to Hideo made my stay just that much better
Dr Dave MGaw is absolutely superman (He doesn't play enough golf) .I had 2 stent's put in and feel amazing. You can definitely trust in him and his awesome team (Ivana) was brilliant as well. I couldn't recommend him enough. The care and nurse area were brilliant.....Raj, Mita, Tamme, Timmy, Julia, Sai and too many more to mention. Thanks for the care and love.
Do not go to cabrini Malvern for emergency if you are actually having a medical issue. The treatment is appalling especially for somewhere that costs $480 to present to. The nurses and doctors were condescending, rude and didn’t listen to anything I had to say. I have never felt more neglect from an emergency department, let alone one you have to PAY for.
I attended surgery at Cabrini hospital yesterday. I can't speak highly enough of all the staff who looked after me - all cared and made me feel welcome and comfortable. I can't remember all of their names, I can recall Kim & Fiona in prep for surgery, Bec in post op & Tim in the ward. Thanks again to Cabrini Hospital Management & all in the Cabrini team.
My partner went here for a routine dental x-ray. Despite the referral clearly requesting bulk billing, no-one told her until afterwards that it was going to cost $203 extra on top of what the government pays. There are lots of other places to get dental x-rays, go somewhere else. Camberwell, the CBD (Collins Street Radiology) or The Alfred are all good.
Wish I can give zero star. Think again if you want to come to this hospital. Turn away before you die here. Absolutely disgrace, what a shame, worst hospital I ever know. These people here take money more than anything, the least thing they care about is patient's life. You would only learn the lesson when you're about to lose someone in this place.
My baby girl was born on 14th Dec. She is healthy and happy the whole time durning our stay. Just want to say big thanks to all the midwives and nurses and staffs that take care of me. Especially Tiffany and Venessa works in the theatre. Tiffany is so caring, lovely and supportive; Vanessa is experienced, efficient and professional. so grateful!
I attended casually today with a 98 year old lady. I cannot speak more highly of not only the doctors but the nursing staff. We were both treated with respect and there was nothing too hard. We were kept informed at all times. We were there for 7 hours I highly recommend their services Was it worth the fee they charge absolutely every cent.
went to see a patient at 3 central today had no idea which ward she's in. went to reception wanting to get some info, 2 staff were juz sitting there talking as if i wasn't there? especially the indian one she saw me and and juz kept talking non stop? lol really what's so important that you have to keep talking? found a cure for cancer?
My husband has been in Cabrini Malvern since Christmas day and he is still there being 16/1/2022. The whole time he has been in hospital l have had no communication from any of the doctors or nurses looking after him. The lack of communication is so frustrating, I have rung the hospital every day and they can not tell me anything.
I have been in Cabrini for a Pituitary op last Wed 18th , back in 5 Nth Level 2 I received the most fantastic treatment and the staff , plenty of them were exceptional the meals were great and I actually enjoyed my stay in Hospital plenty of jokes and laughter with the nurse’s it was fantastic so thanks to all you lovely people.
Cabrini is a private hospital in a leafy suburb of Melbourne. Parking was adequate, the staff were friendly, and the cafe served a great cup of coffee. Getting around was not too difficult. Hospitals seem to have long corridors and an endless choice of lifts and stairwells. However, no one seemed to mind when I asked directions.
My partner was admitted into this hospital via passing blood. She ended up staying for 3 days for no apparent reason, which then came with a huge bill. At the end the doctor said “I don’t know why you stayed so long, you should of been sent home earlier.” -no clear communication -no ownership -poor management -great facilities
We chose Cabrini because we thought my wife would get immediate attention and expert advice from their Emergency Team. We experienced neither. Much happier with the thoroughness of the investigation by our local doctor a few days later than we were given at Cabrini Malvern.\ Alfred Emergency for us next time if neccessary!
Having just been discharged after a procedure at Cabrini Malvern I cannot recommend them more highly. Their care, attention and genuine concern for my health and comfort whilst admitted was exemplary and so genuine. If I ever needed another hospital trip, I would be heading for Cabrini. Thank you …
I had never been to hospital before so it was quite a confronting time for me, but Cabrini was a wonderful experience, I felt safe and comfortable and the staff were all absolutely wonderful particularly Dr Anu Aggarwal who is one of that cardiologists there, made the experience less stressful
-0* WORST PRIVATE HOSPITAL IN MELBOURNE Do not trust your health or that of your loved ones! to Cabrini. Certainly do not trust any care for the birth of your precious one. Multiple different medical issues have been a literal nightmare. Take care of yourself and go to Epworth Richmond*****+
If there has zero it would be the zero. This hospital except the charges has the private hospital standard service even worse than some of the public hospitals. They booked a appointment at 10:20am. But now is 11:47am, we still waiting. If we need to wait why we need to book the appointment!
I am a retired RMH nursing sister and also have belonged to Medibank for years - I was appalled at the treatment at Cabrini emergency - I paid $410 and waited for 3 hours to see a dr - my condition improved - I ‘ begged’ urgently for a blood test which I was given and came home
I've been admitted to Cabrini twice, including for surgery. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and genuine care shown by nursing staff and medical staff. In particular the treatment from Dr Ryan Hoy and Associate Professor Anouk Dev who are artists in their craft.
As a former patient of Cabrini Malvern, I can honestly say that if you're going to need to go to hospital make sure it's this one! This is a very caring hospital with the latest state of the art facilities available. The staff are very professional and accomodating.
4/7/23 2nd floor recovery department Thank you to the team of nurses who were true professionals, caring full of empathy and compassion. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Also thank you to 1 West Fatima for your exceptional care. Thank you Cabrini Erika Carey
The worst! Totally incompetent, rude and uncaring staff. Do not have your baby here. I Ended up being rushed to Emergency after being sent home as my concerns were totally ignored. Very incompetent staff including my OB, midwives and colorectal surgeons.
I was an inpatient for a week about 2 years ago, and recently a day patient. Excellent staff and facilities. I felt valued and very well cared for from the moment I walked in. When I was so vulnerable, I greatly appreciated being looked after so well.
Currently staying over night & I’m blown away by the staff. They were all very attentive & reassured me before, after and during. Was laughing through my whole experience which has never happened before! Lovely people who do an amazing job.
On the 19th of Nov 2021 I was scheduled to have a Total Hip replacement apon arriving at the set time i was greeted with a smile and given set directions and to follow certain protocal Covit Climate I arrived at preadmission and in greeted
I ended in Cabrini Malvern Emergency with a severe wound that required stitches .Was made to wait for 7 hours before a doctor could come and examine my wounds. The staff was rude to my experience of pain and kept giving me Panadol on empty
As a man in his 50’s where a trade and sporting life prevailed, I am now a regular visitor to hospitals for some sort of procedure. Cabrini has by far exceeded all expectations, the premium service they provide of nurses, specialists and
Why do all staff and visitors need to wear masks when entering the hospital, but the cafe staff do not, when they are interacting with staff, visitors and patients. This is not a good look to encourage infection control following COVID
We requested the Monash hospital before sending the paitent to this hospital consider the reviews of the hospitals. We recommend you don’t go to this hospital the reception and staff remembers behaviourism was bad. And don’t waste the
I come to cabrini every 2 months for treatment and the nurses are just so lovely. I have also stayed in for a few nights and never had a problem. Everyone was so attentive and explained eveything in a way i would understand.
Wonderful experience today at Malvern Cabrini. Went for Cardio Stress test. Everyone was so professional and thorough. Special mention for Mitch - his professionalism, kind heart and efficiency was amazing! Thanks everyone.
Genesis Care Unit is excellent. But my husbands ward care after major surgery was at times poor.Concerned this is a teaching hospital. I asked to speak to the Nurse Unit Manager to discuss my issues, but was not contacted.
Having an open bin full of contaminated masks and other materials exposed to patients and visitors, right next to a lift, is not how you keep people safe. You would think a hospital would understand basic sanitation.
Amazing that Cabrini has so few reviews. It is a beautiful hospital with a long standing tradition of good health care and as a nurse working at many hospitals I have not heard any negative reports about Cabrini
"Recently came back home after 3 weeks treatment and 1 week rehab. Excellent service and great food. Thank you to all the Cabrini ICU, Gandel and rehab ward doctors, nurses and staff keep up the great work"
My mother was there yesterday and a few times in the past. She always says that this is the best hospital in Melbourne. Staff are so nice and the place is so clean. Just such a fantastic organisation.
Amazing experience with the birth of our baby. Nurse crew and the whole team of midwives and doctors were spectacular. Loved the experience and the care given. Great facilities and amazing food too.
Very expensive and dose not worse the price!!!!!!!! 12000 for the birth a day and nurses busy af and they won’t let my friends visit after 8. Horrible experience! I rather went public hospitals lol
They refused to send my food to my friend after visiting hours, she just gave birth and had to starve by eating just cereal. Their reason was they were busy. Poor organisation and lack of empathy.
Spent 3 nights after surgery. Staff was very friendly and caring. Food was actually better than I anticipated for a hospital. Thank you to all the nurses who looked after me round the clock.
Best advice and guidance. Accounts are bit iffy on claiming from Medicare/Private health insurance and don't bother to call you if you need help. But Doctors are the best in town.
One of the easiest and efficient admissions process. Great facilities and doctors, nurses and team were lovely. The warm sheets when waiting to go into theatre was lovely.
