This park could definitely use some TLC but it's a decent place to take the dogs walking. I wish they offered any sort of water fountain, even if it were just for the dogs and not for hoomans (cuz COVID and all). They have a portapotty outside, so I guess for emergencies that's cool, but there's already a small building in the center to make and sell food for the baseball games, I really don't see why they couldn't have extended just a bit to have public restrooms available. Also the back "field" was turned into a makeshift dog park which is nice (for those that have friendly dogs anyway), but be warned it gets EXTREMELY muddy if it's rained recently. 10/10 will have to bathe their dog when they get home.

Given the amount of real estate investment in this neighborhood over the past three years, this park is an embarrassment to the city of Nashville. A conservative estimate of the value of new homes in this neighborhood over the past three years is $70,000,000. I’m not sure what the property tax would be on that amount of real property, but it’s certainly enough to finance a much needed overhaul of Charlotte Park.
Playground
There is a small playground.
Restrooms
There are no restrooms at this park.
Dog-friendliness
There is no dog park, but the residents seem to have taken over one of the baseball fields.

The Nashville government website says their baseball fields are open to the public and first come first served (non-reservable), but you’ll get kicked out anyway (went at 4:30pm on a Monday) for groups that have apparently booked the fields. If that’s the case just update your website as to not inconvenience others!!

My favorite place to walk the dog and enjoy the outdoors. It could use some updates, but it's nice to enjoy fresh air, birds and green grass.

  • Barrett Irmscher

Could use some maintenance and some work making it a little more beautiful. But, tons of grass, trees, and a walking loop. Great little park

Could use a bit of love, but great big areas for picnics or playing with your kids/dogs. Play area for kids, walking path and ball field.

Perfect. Just a small little park, nice for picnics, and there is a little shop down the road for snacks, drinks, and even pizza

Looks like a horrible place to enjoy but It wasn't on the day I went. A large walking trail loop with beautiful grassland.
