This is a great park for kids or adults that just went to stretch and walk. They have a nice sidewalk that goes around the exterior of the park so you can walk freely and safely. My granddaughter loves the new toys they put in a few years ago. There are a few workout things for adults but mainly there are toys for children. As others have commented they do not have a public restroom. If they did I would give it a 5. If you do need a restroom you have to go down the street to one of the corner stores. Probably McDonald's would be best as they do have a open public restroom. Circle K frowns upon it and I'm not sure about the Diamond Shamrock what they would think about kids walking in to line up to use their bathroom.

This is a pretty decent park. It is spacious and generally pretty clean. It lacks bathrooms of any kind, and as with most parks, the city doesn't overseed in the winter, so it doesn't look as nice as it could all year round. It could probably stand to have more tables and benches. It could use a few dog doo stations and trash receptacles. There isn't a lot of parking. Did I mention there aren't any restrooms!?
Playground
The playground is fairly up to date. My kids have enjoyed it.
Restrooms
None
Dog-friendliness
Too friendly, there are dog droppings in the large field, so be careful.
Picnic area
There are only a few picnic tables scattered amongst a large area.

It's okay... Barely any shade there.. huge field and runners track that goes around the field.... Children's playground is kinda small.... cold water fountain for drinking is available as well which is nice and definitely needed.... Only necessary thing not available is a bathroom...
Playground
Kinda small
Restrooms
No restrooms
Dog-friendliness
Dog walk and large field with bags available for their bathroom breaks
Picnic area
2 tables available within the Palo Verde trees and 3 tables past the playground with a huge tree for shade during the heat of the day... Towards dusk it's impossible to find shade....

Could of used a few seats or a picnic table, at least, somewhere in the visinoty of the grill. And definitely at least one more grill. (Maybe that swivels...., But it is a nice park, I played my music and sang and had a nice time It was very enjoyable, I must say. It is tucked away so it's quiet and long!!! A great place to walk and walk your pet. If I need any suggestion that would be more grills picnic table and a few more garbage cans. Thank you so much C

I absolutely adore this park! It has a playground for the kids (this part is not open at the moment due to COVID 19) right next to the entrance. It has a sidewalk that makes a loop around the entire park, which lets me get a ton of steps in, but just in case I start one lap too many, I can cut across since the basin is one huge field. Not only that, but since it's all open, it makes it great for radio controlled planes. I hope this information is helpful. :)

We really like our morning walks through the park. The reason for 3 stars is after the heavy rainfall several weeks ago the walkway in several areas of the park are covered with a thick layer of dirt and mud making it difficult to walk in those areas. I thought for sure after all this time they would have cleaned it up. Also there are trees along the walkway that are in dire need of trimming. Walkers have to duck to avoid hitting the branches.

A 3 star review may be a bit generous for a review. First off there are no restrooms and very few picnic tables for such a large park. I think I saw one grill. The playground equipment is great for the young ones though, nothing rusted or broken for them to accidentally get scraped on. Large field great for a soccer, football or frisbee! Just watch out for pet messes; I noticed a few pet owners not pick up after their dogs here.

They just built a new playground, it now has a clean look. Pokéstop at the playground. There's also a parking lot at that corner of the park. It's small, probably only 20 spaces, max. Pokéstop at the entrance of the parking lot with a Pokémon Gym on the Southwest corner. On the North side going into the park there's a field to play baseball, soccer, or what have you, along with a perimeter sidewalk.

Went to meet the 0leGeasers Flying club face to face ... what a hoot ! Loved the quiet flight .. the need for thick skin became evident in minutes of my arrival. Guys that know each others limits and how to encourage each other to a higher excellence by verbal bashing. Watched crashes enjoyed the chatter and looking forward to future flying with them ... thanks guys for the fun morning...

This is a very nice park. Big enough for sports activities such as soccer or football but not for basketball, there isn't a court. There is a walking path around the entire park, great for walking, jogging, even roller skating. The most important part is the playground for the little ones. Such a good size jungle gym and lots of variety of things to climb on.

  • Vanessa Randall

I love going to this park. It's huge and a great place for small to pre-teen kids to play. You can bike, walk, jog, fly kites or drones, or other remote air craft here without feeling overcrowded. A few people walk their dogs here but I suspect most take em to dog park, not far away. It's a new park and if you're not looking for it, you'll drive past it.

  • Kimberly Herring

Nice park with picnic tables, a paved trail and playground for the kids. If you're lucky you can come out in the morning to watch a group of people flying their R.C. airplanes and drones. What this park doesn't have are restrooms and poop bags for all the dog walkers that don't clean up after their dog does their business. …

Nice and quiet park easily accessible from Beardsley Rd, right behind Costco. Small, but complete playground for children and huge grassy area for playing ball sports. All around the grassy area is a nice walking path with a couple of exercise machines for grown ups right next to the playground. One drawback: not much shade.

  • Francis Jose

Great place to have an evening walk/jog! The lights turn on around 6:30pm in the evenings giving much needed light to navigate around. Surrounded by a row of houses on one side and Costco lot on the other. Multiple well maintained walking paths along the perimeter with few sections inclined. Good for cycling and walking

  • Katelyn Manning

Lots of grass and sidewalk paths. Plenty of places to sit and have a picnic. The playground is cute and lots of fun for a variety of ages. Swings and climbing equipment and slides too. There are also exercise equipment. And a decent amount of shade with all the trees around. There is a small parking lot here too.

Big play area for kids and a decent playground. Good for walks, kite flying, games etc.. Only thing we didn't like is there is no bathroom anywhere to be found. It's a park for families and kids without even a port a potty. Not very good planning. Also trash cans should have lids, maybe a dumpster.

  • Jim Ransom

My kids love it here! My kids are under 13 so there is something to climb, spin or swing on. They love it when we go early to watch the remote control airplanes flying overhead. We go to the park while Mom goes to Costco next door. Let's them work out and mom gets some food therapy.

  • Kehlar

Newer playground. Wood tables scattered around. Big, open field to play in. Update: went on a sy day morning and there were a decent number of parents and small children. Really sociable, and the kids played well together. Nice to know there's a good community in the neighborhood.

  • PCilla

Its a great place for a nice family picnic or a stroll with your pet. Very nice and clean park. Has a nice playground for the kids and a very spacious field to play any sport, or let your dog run free to play fetch. Overall its one of the nicest parks I've been to in a while.

  • rebecca sonier

Clean and family oriented, giant bike or walking trail- beautiful field where many days the are guys flying those big model planes so that's always relaxing to watch.. they also have a great playground and some workout equipment. Only thing missing is a restroom-

  • Kristin Settle

Nice little park with a good playground for my 4 year old. No bathroom that I can see though. Huge field as well. Good for taking a walk or kicking around a soccer ball. Definitely will be back. Its also not too fair from home so that makes it very convenient.

  • Mary Zandvliet

Very little parking for such a large park. Very few picnic benches. No shade trees in park. Grass is filled with weeds that are stickers, making it impossible for walking/ playing with my dog. Nice walkways for walking or for fitness training.

  • Marissa Larsen

This park is really cool! Very open and would love to come back and play in the fields with my kids. There's also a walking path that we'll have to try next time that looked enjoyable. There were a lot of people walking while we were there.

  • F C

Great park to run/walk during the day . It's got poor lightning after dark . The playground and most of the park is not lit up at night. But if you don't mind being a lil dark and love to walk or run at night this is the place to go.

  • Edward O'Beirne

For RC flying this place is heaven. City sanctioned flying spot. Casual vibe, perfectly arranged flight line, though unmarked. Dog play is great. Kid play on playground is pretty good. Bike riding practice for kids is excellent.

  • Brad Holmes

Great place to fly rc airplanes! Lots of short grass and no obstructions such as light poles etc. I highly recommend it to anyone who has rc planes! Also a playground for kids. Sadly no restrooms...

  • Sara Haley

Nice little park. They added new playground equipment which made a HUGE difference. It's also a gathering spot for model aircraft and drone pilots, so that can be pretty enjoyable to watch.

  • Thomas Uhlenberg

Well my son and I have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours at this park! It's right across the street from our house. We've played hours upon hours of football there It's a great park!

  • Jessi Sage

This is a designated rc airplane space. Its pretty cool to see what some of those guys fly! Other than those guys theres rarely many other people. My only complaint is there's no bathroom.

  • Orlando Marrufo

Cool park with big open field. Playground is small enough to keep track of children but big enough for them not to get bored. Free parking and the field is big enough to fly rc planes

  • Sylvia And

Fun Playground for the kids! & Adults! Great open space for the kids to ride their bikes or to walk and run around. Lots of fresh air because of the open space. Bring your Kites too!

  • Amanda Bee

My daughter loves this park except for the wood chips. But that's only because she wants to make sand castles. We come here often and there are lots of other kids playing, too.

  • Ginger Grass

This is a cute and nice neighborhood park. There is a children's play area and a large grassy area as well as a walking loop. Easy to get to and not super crowded when I went.

  • Mark Finch

Good park, but to close to freeway and gas station. Not enough tables but better than most. Nice swings and climbing structures. Getting to North side is a bit of a walk.

  • Bryan Ramirez

Its ok. Half or less the half of the playground is taped up and not accessible. Big grass area. They should create a dog park with the amount of grass area! Pls!

  • Stephen Lindner

Huge field and walking path. Great for dog walkers, sports and general grass activities. The playground leaves a lot to be desired if you have children.

  • judy kennedy

  • Ehcko

Nice large area to ride bikes and recreational activities. Also has playground for older and younger children. This park does not have a restroom.

  • Mark Arvieux

We go here to launch model rockets. It is approved for RC planes and rockets. We've been twice , and even on a Saturday it was not at all crowded

  • na da

Nice and big park, good for skating or jogging or just playing. Massive fields with a nice and fun playground. Working cold water fountains too.

  • Keith Jones

Beautiful park. Excellent grooming. Lots of room to spread out and have room to yourself.. Great place to walk, picnic, and spend time outdoors.

  • Brandon Norwood

Lots of green grass and open space for kites, RC anything, etc. There are maintained bike path around park and a great Payground for kids More

  • Kuro Neko (Queen)

A fun park for the children, and a whole open walking area like a trail. Perfect for you and the kids to have a picnic and enjoy yourselves

  • Mitchell Hald

Nice park. Clean and well maintained. Plenty of shade trees. New playground coming soon (spring 2017) As mentioned before, no restrooms.

  • joshua becker

Very large grass area with bright and clean playground, plus it's next to a Costco so you can get all your bulk shopping done as well!

  • Misty Vaught

Nice little park, but very little parking. I like jogging around it while my kids have ball practice. It's just over a 1/2mile loop.

  • Travis Rowland

Big open grass park let your dog run and play. Kids have fun on gym. Not to much for shade as only a couple of trees.

  • Jeff Skaife

Great paved trail and both times there has been remote control airplanes there, fun to watch. Dogs welcome on leash

  • Jenny W

This is an average size park but it does have a decent playground for younger children. I enjoy the swings there :)
