I purchased my bicycle at their old shop a few years ago and, recently, decided to bring it in for some fixings. When I dropped my bicycle I tried to speak English but the person at the counter refused to do so - we ended up communicating in French which for me was not a problem, the problem was the attitude and the dismissive behaviour of the shop attendant. Three weeks of dead silence pass and I still don't hear anything about the state of my bicycle. So, I decide to pop-in and ask if it was ready or if I had to wait for longer. Again, I find the same rude shop attendant. He tells me that the bicycle was ready since long time, and that they called me once to let me know. He added that I should have imagined that it was ready. Now, because I use my bicycle daily to go to the office, I have been waiting for this phone call for three weeks, I don't believe that my phone magically ignored it and hid the notification. Also, considering their prices and the self-conceit that they parade, they could call more than once. The final surprise was the bill, ridiculously high, and not because of the parts that were changed but because of the extremely expensive 'forfait loisir' which to me translates into we charged you for nothing but you cannot complain because there is not tracking of the time that we put in. But, doing a bit of math, based on the skilled worker minimum wage, it took them 4 hours to change the brakes and apply the 'petites fournitures velo' - which is also a puzzling cost element but negligible. All in all, a terrible experience, next time I will look for another shop. It is sad how little they care about a good customer service.

It is the first shop I have visited since move to Luxembourg. I was choosing to buy online or in the shop and after browsing around I saw them selling "Frog" brand for kids. Bikes have good components on them for decent amount of money. Like air fork, hydraulic brakes for a 24" bike is a rare thing. Service was welcoming, all questions were answered. I liked the fact that they have Muc-Off items for sale (cleaning and tools), ParkTool (although selection wasn't too big). It was an easy buy (I kinda already knew what I need and want). One thing was weird to me is that I don't get any sort of Service on a bike for the duration of first year (when I have a warranty). I have bought 3 new bikes previously and ALL shops I bought bikes from before provide you "after-sale" support for everything you would need to be checked, tightened and inspected. Some, even insisted to bring bike to check after some time because some parts may come loose and need to be checked. I can recommend the shop regardless of above. I guess all of them are different?

Can't speak for the bike fixing ability, came for a coffee in the morning. There was one table of customers however we were not approached at our table. Went up and ordered to the clerk. 5 mins later another guy brings us our coffees and as he's carrying them very slowly, explains himself "sorry, I'm not a barista". Just what you want to hear at a cafe! I'm pretty sure my cappuccino was just a black coffee that he then poured some milk in, there was not a trace of foam. When it was time to pay, I once again walked up to the counter behind which stood 3 people. There was only one customer at the desk that was being helped by one of the clerks so I thought I'd ask for help from the other 2. They pointed to the one customer and said I'll have to wait. 3 guys helping one customer. After waiting 5 mins one of the guys just stood up, walked over to the counter and gave me my bill which I promptly paid. Took about 25 seconds. Maybe theyre good with your bikes but if you want coffee, go literally anywhere else.

Très mauvais service vente et après vente pour un si beau magasin! Mon vélo électrique (achète il y a 4 ans chez la même enseigne à Bonnevoie) a été gardé 1,5 mois en réparation alors que rien n’a été fait. Sous prétexte de problème de logiciel à mettre en route ils m’ont tout simplement conseillé d’acheter un nouveau vélo électrique. Le vendeur m’a dit qu’il était impossible d’envoyer la batterie en réparation alors que une fois à la caisse j’ai vu une batterie similaire qui était préparé pour l’envoie. Dans le même contexte, il ne pouvait pas commender une batterie sous prétexte que ça n’existe plus alors que l’on peut en acheter sur internet. Finalement, je demande à faire mettre des petites roues pour ma fille de côte que l’on me confirme avoir fait. Lors de mon passage rien à été mis de côté. On me vend des petites roues du mauvais modele. Donc à éviter pour achat ou service après vente inexistant.. Beaucoup de magasin à Luxembourg de vélo bien plus professionnel.

This review is for a bicycle maintenance that I did when the shop was still in Route de Thionville, but I think it is still the same owner. I was told that I need to do the whole "Sport Maintenance", even though I only wanted the rear wheel quick release and the front brake fixed. When I arrived to pick up the bike I was asked to pay much much more than what I asked for because some parts of the bike were changed as part of the "Sport Maintenance" because they were old and "not safe". When I asked the staff why they didn't at least call me and asked me if I wanted it to be fixed, they reacted in a very arrogant way. The problem that I had with the rear quick release was actually not fixed and I went to another bike shop to get it fixed. This is not how you earn the trust of a customer.

I've had a mix of experiences in this shop. I bought a bike here 3 weeks ago and received excellent service, the server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I left feeling great about my purchase and I'm still very happy with my bike. Returned today and asked another server if they had a compact first aid kit, and his response was incredulous. He said they would never sell such an item, and that they weren't allowed to, and told me to go to a pharmacy - even when I explained that it wasn't medication and that I'd seen them in cycle shops before. I left feeling patronised by his attitude. Went straight to Goedert in Hollerich and found one (pictures attached). So I think it depends on who you speak to in there.

I was really disappointed at this shop. If you need any service for your bike please be aware that they will refuse to do it even at a high price if you don’t buy stuff there on top. I recommend you just go to decathlon (Aarlon or Thionville) because this shop is ridiculously overpriced as well and doesn’t care for it’s customers. I called them before going and they said they could change a tire for me in 15 min or so but when I got there they said that if I don’t buy the tire there they will actually take 2 weeks to change a tire! If you are an unhappy customer they will find a way to blame you instead of taking note and improving the service. Very rude attendant by the way.

Expérience catastrophique. 1) c'est le client qui doit faire la gestion des stocks est appeler afin de savoir si son produit est arrivé 2) produit livré avec : 2)a) un mauvais accessoire 2)b) un accessoire manquant 3) délais d'attente inadmissible afin de recevoir l'accessoire manquant 4) personnel au téléphone irrespectueux, promet de rappeller et ne le fait jamais 5) désorganisation totale au niveau de l'atelier, le mécanicien ose me dire que je ne lui ai pas donné les clefs pour la révision. Je la retrouve parmi une dizaine de clefs sur son établi Pour récapituler, difficile de faire pire.

Visite pour entretien vélo électrique Gazelle acheté chez Kontz. Client depuis l'avenue de la Gare. Derniers achats: 4.000 € en une fois (Rte de Thionville, aussi clients Land) Nouveau magasin inaccessible en voiture, parking à un bon km. Réception catastrophique par un nouvel employé: pas de rendez-vous, vélo trop vieux ("on ne reçoit plus les pièces"), batterie à changer d'office (600-700€ annoncés). "Inutile vu la valeur du vélo... Reparti, entretien fait moi-même et vélo en fonctionnement. Autant Kontz était une référence, autant ce dernier contact était une catastrophe. Plus jamais.

These guys are absolute legends! I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with them. Outstanding service, attitude and willingness to help! I went in there on spec with my Cervelo road bike, which needed some TLC after a crash. Their bike mechanic was booked solid for some time to come, but the shop team got me tools, mounted my bike on a stand and helped me to realign my RD mech hanger and some other things myself. I can't imagine walking in to a bike shop anywhere else, and finding the staff so willing and eager to find a way to help. These guys earn great karma.

Il est donc encore possible d'être servi avec gentillesse et simplicité. Arnold Kontz était déjà une enseigne de qualité il y a 30 ans et elle prouve encore aujourd'hui ses valeurs. Je me suis rendue en catastrophe dans leur magasin à Bonnevoie pour faire réparer un vélo. Sourire, authenticité, efficacité étaient au rendez-vous. Merci à la personne qui s'est occupé de prendre en charge le vélo. Un vrai service rapide en toute simplicité. Tout les ingrédients y sont. Ils ont gagné une famille de clients. Merci.

The best bike shop/service I've ever been to. My friend and I had a serious mechanical issue on our bike tour, the derailleur handler of his bike snapped in half. We went to every bike shop In Luxembourg without results and here also none of the parts fitted his bike, but staff proposed to take the most similar handler and file it to fit. As a result they saved our tour and didn't even want payment for extra work. Simply the best people.

Super boutique et équipe plutôt gentille, les équipes sont débordées et vraiment mal organisées. Il y a de vrais problèmes d'organisation et de délais... il a fallu que j'appelle très régulièrement pour obtenir mon achat (2 mois d'attente alors que j'avais pris un modèle en stock) il y a eu des erreurs de commandes ! J'attends encore un top case payé il y a 2 mois

J'ai acheté un Bianchi Sprint. Le service est désastreux. Le vélo était très mal réglé. J'ai demandé quelques changements sur la version de base. Aucun de ces changements ont été réalisé lors de la réception du vélo. C'est à peine si on est considéré comme client. Il n'y a aucun intérêt de privilégié ce commerce de proximité pour avoir un service aussi mauvais…

During my multiday cycling trip I needed a new tubeless tyre for my racing bike. I was assisted on the spot without an appointment. The mechanics advised me to replace my brake pads because they were worn out. My new Ortlieb panniers also had an issue which they fixed free of charge. Very friendly and helpful staff so I would definitely recommend!

We were bicycling from Holland to Belgium through Luxembourg when the rear wheel started to make terrible noise. We went to this shop and I was very well helped. Renato (bicycle mechanic) immediately made time available and investigated the problem (core of cassette was broken). Very happily we could continue our trip about an hour later .

Worst cycle shop EVER. I just went asking to have a look to my bike for a very small problem, and the staff told me (even before to know what was the problem) that they wouldn’t be able to take my bike before 5weeks, and even after. The stuff handle clients request with total disregard and disrespect. Never go there.

Leckerer Café und nettes Ambiente. Mein Fahrrad wurde, während ich meinen Café trank Bestens repariert. Das sogar kostenlos, da es nur um eine Kleinigkeit ging, die dafür benötigten Schrauben wurden mir sogar auch geschenkt. Gerne wieder! Der Laden hat eine vielfältige Auswahl an den verschiedensten Zubehör-Teilen.

I am very satisfied with the service of this shop. I went with my bike with broken chain and they repaired it straight away, despite the fact that there were few more bikes waiting to be repaired! De loin le pire service et accueil client de tous les magasins de vélos au Luxembourg. Tres très loin de la qualité de l'ancien magasin! Les jeunes vendeurs sont incapables, mal formés, mal polis et se prennent pour ce qu'ils sont loin d'être. 3 fois j'ai été decu!

I was quite happy with the service to date, but now I cannot wait for my bike to be serviced. They ask me to spend 2x30 minutes commuting and leave my bike there for 1 full day, because they cannot help with a ten minutes adjustment? Not so customer friendly!
