Having bought various Cannondale bikes over the years at Velocenter Goedert and having entrusted to them the maintenance of these bikes, I would like to share my experiences over the last few years (!) with this bike shop. Having talked to many experienced (Luxembourg) cyclists, the saying is "you go to Goedert to buy a bike but stay away when it comes to maintenance" where the sale comes first and the true comes second. Wishing to purchase the Cannondale make, I had not much of a choice but headed for Goedert already back in 2015. The promised first maintenance appeared to be a sham as there was no maintenance at all; the brakes were poorly adjusted resulting in accelerated tear on the disc. Even when I had pointed this out, this was not followed up upon at this so-called first maintenance. Second exemple: I spent EUR 750 on a bike rack of about 23 kg with Velocenter Goedert. After having paid the purchase price, the staff seemed to be unwilling to give me a hand and I had to drag the box out of their shop myself. For sure, staff can be incompetent or not interested, but such should in my view not result in them being rude, which brings me to the third example: Having fetched my mountainbike after a service was done on a fork, the standard question came about my weight as in function of my weight air would be pumped in the fork. Apparently, 80 kilo (having stopped racing a year ago) was very heavy as the staff was making fun of this. Sorry guys, but I do not pay EUR 90 per hour (spent?), for a bad service and on top of this get insulted. I am not sure who is controlling your gang but even if you are incompetent when it comes to repairs (please see the various other complaints) you may consider being polite. I am not sure if your staff have a sense of this but let me refer you to what Mahatma Gandhi once said about customer service: "A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so." Needless to say that I won't come back and I wish you well.

1 mot 1 geste et Velocenter Goedert fait le reste ! Étant client depuis pas mal d'années maintenant, je suis passé voir les nouveautés 2022 dans ce magnifique show room. J'ai été servi ! L'accueil des vendeurs est vraiment excellent avec un bonjour et un sourire, choses que dans beaucoup d'endroits ça manque malheureusement ! Leurs explications sur les produits ne sont plus à démontrer, ils savent de quoi ils parlent. J'ai eu l'occasion aussi de discuter avec le gérant, une superbe personne également, à l'écoute et qui cible directement le souhait du client. Vraiment top ! Du coup, l'achat d'un vélo ne s'est pas fait attendre plus longtemps ! Les mécanos, car j'ai voulu apporter quelques modifications sur ma nouvelle monture...... quand à eux, ce sont des vrais chirurgiens, très méticuleux, extrêmement soigneux et d'une grande compétence. Bref, une superbe belle équipe !!! Merci à tous, changer surtout rien !

I recently bought an ebike, a child bike trailer and a bike helmet there. Couldn’t be happier with their service! Admittedly, you need to bring lots of patience - it’s a bit this ‘Luxembourg syndrom’ that you sometimes feel the shop owners aren’t really keen to sell. On the other side, they really know about their products, don’t put any buying pressure on you (and even recommended me to wait two months for a newer model to arrive, which was totally worth it), and have competitve prices. Very friendly interaction (only in French) and good aftersales service. Update on 02 July: I had a small technical issue with my bike and got excellent after sales service as part of my guarantee.

Je mets une étoile car on ne peut pas mettre zéro. C’est une belle boutique relativement bien achalandé mais apprêtez vous à y passer des heures. Que vous achetiez un vélo à 8000 euros ou une barre de céréale à deux euros, il vous faudra attendre, faire la queue car tous les vendeurs sont en train de vendre des vélos et aucun n’est attribué à la caisse, donc vous ferez la queue, très longtemps. (A 20 minutes par client devant vous et s’il y a 3 clients vous perdez une heure pour un simple achat). Bref, organisation terrible, a évitez sauf si vous avez beaucoup de temps.

This shop is not really interested in business or servicing anything and it`s as if the shop staff cannot be bothered. I have gone there so many times because it is near my home and each time I leave disappointed. I asked to have a cassette flipped from one wheelset to another and they told me it could not be done and I needed to make an appointment online. This is literally a 3 minute repair, only to watch all of the staff pour themselves espresso under the counter! Probably the worst service of ANY bike shop I`ve ever visited!

Terrible service and customer experience. I left my bicycle in the morning to fix one flat tire. The sales man told me it couldn’t be fixed and had to buy a new one. The front tire was in perfect conditions. When I came back, they have changed both tires and were charging me double the service. They said the other tire exploded - no one called me before to explain the situation and ask if I want to change both tires. Not a single discount for something I didn’t ask for. I ended up losing my day, no problem solved and poorer

J'étais à la recherche d'un casque rapidement - le personnel m'annonce qu'il n'est pas en stock - malgré la taille M tout à fait classique. Si vous le voulez le casque rapidement (valeur 135€,) c'est 15€ de frais de port (soit >10% valeur du casque!) ce que j'ai refusé. Résultat: J'attends un casque depuis 1.5 mois qui n'a toujours pas été commandé car "il n'y a pas de grosse commande à passer chez cannondale". Une chance que c'est un bon cadeau à dépenser chez eux .... C'est par ailleurs odieusement cher ! Dommage...

Bonjour, je viens de me rendre au magasin pour commander un corps de roue libre. J'avais démonter la cassette avant donc la référence du moyeu était visible. On m'a demander de laisser la roue sur place pour pouvoir me dire si c'était . On m'a dit que la référence ne suffisait pas et qu'il fallait demonter, savoir le nombre de rayon etc. On parle d'un corps de roue libre, pas d'un moyeu. Visiblement la personne ne connaît pas la différence

The crew is welcoming but the service is very poor, the maintenance which cost 62€ is just plain rip off, they dont do anything beside eyecheck the bike and inflate the Tyres, they didn't even repair my braking problem but charged another 32€ for new break pads that didnt resolve the problem. When i returned they said that the break need a bleed but it will take time and will cost more ... so basically i just pais 94€ for nothing!

The only recommendation is to actually visit the shop and not rely on estimated fees they provide by phone: otherwise the difference can be very significant 50 euro charged for a flat tyre (vs 30 communicated by phone) is quite expensive evidently. Recommended only if you have an urgency. Having said this, the work performed its ok. The shop also maintains a very extensive selection of bycicles

I came in here in desperate need of 2 nuts for my bike and air in my tires (I bike from place to place this summer). Even tho the language barrier was present, the guy who helped me where extremely helpful, and through a mix of body language, laughs and google translate, I got what I was searching for, and he did it for free. Amazing service

Während unseres Campingurlaubes hatte ein Rad unseres Thule Fahrradanhängers einen Platten. Kurz nach der Ankunft hier in Luxemburg kurz per Mail nachgefragt, einen Tag später im Laden vorbeigegangen. Freundliche Begrüßung, sofortige Reperatur in wenigen Minuten. Preis völlig in Ordnung. Vielen Dank für die schnelle und unkomplizierte Hilfe.

Vélos hautes de gammes dont les prix peuvent faire tourner la tête parfois . Le magasin est très propre avec une présentation soignée et du choix. Accessoires, vtt , vélo route et même trottinette ou appareils électriques pour se déplacer sont de la partie. Pour ma part, vendeur très pro et cordiale qui connait ses produits.

Bon choix de vélo un peu moins en équipement mais ça va, toujours possibilité de faire une commande soit pour vélo soit pour équipement, staff toujours dispo. Je ne mais pas 5 étoile car selon moi pour certaines opérations simple il faudrait ajouter un service de rdv en ligne, site internet pas complet vu le choix en magasin

Très déçu par le conseil et le service très approximatif. Des réparations simples sont soit refusées soit leur prix est exorbitant. Manque de sens de contact et de capacité à trouver des solutions adéquates. Heureusement il y a Decathlon à Arlon, toujours pret a dépanner, parfois pour pas plus cher qu'un sourire.

1ère visite dans le magasin pour un jeu dans la cassette de mon VTT Scalpel SI, un des vendeurs, sympa, m'a fait immédiatement une fiche (pas d'attente) ; la réparation a été faite quelques heures après dans la journée malgré la charge de travail à l'atelier (25 €). Donc 1er accueil tout à fait correct.

Good shop in general with a large choice. The salesperson I dealt with is highly professional and very friendly. 5 stars for him. The only reason I give them only 4 out of 5 stars is that they are often too busy. Dropping of your bike or picking it up for a service / maintenance usually means waiting.

Had to wait crazy amount of time to even ask a basic question. There are almost trekking/fitness bikes in the shop, when I ask when will new bikes come, reply is “I dont know” . Can I order/preorder a bike ? “No you cant”. I know as much info about the shop as the people working there.

I arrived about 15 minutes before closing and the shop was busy with people picking up bikes that were fixed/ assembled that day. I had my son’s school commuter bike with a flat rear tire. The staff made time for us and made a repair for a very low price and saved the day. Thank you.

The worst cycling shop in Luxembourg, a shame for the cannondale brand, the assistance is terrible, they are not capable to do even a simple maintenance, they never answer at the phone and they are very rude with the clients. I will never buy anymore a cannondale bike in Luxembourg.

Personnel aimable mais complètement incompétent pour ce qui est des réparations. Au bout de 4 fois chez eux il y a toujours des trucs qui ne fonctionnent pas (et quand ils vous proposent de poncer la jante alors que c'est un problème de frein mal réglé, là vraiment ils m'ont tuée)

Prix raisonnable pour réparation et révision pour vélos.Service aimable sans se sentir stressé et à l'écoute du client.Que ça prend du temps c'est évident.Il faut compter un certain temps d'attente mais ça vaut la peine car le service fournie est bon

Very disappointed that a shop who is selling Cannondale is not able to discuss a basic question on threaded - threadless headset. Not even able to discern the parts and tools. I hope that was just because of me talking in English

Je suis venu pour une réclamation suite à un problème sur ma chaîne, j'ai été très déçu qu'aucun geste commercial me soit proposé. On m'a juste fait comprendre que je ne savais pas entretenir mon vélo... Je ne reviendrai plus.

Tried to call several times but no one ever picks up the phone. On the website you can reserve a slot for bike maintenance but also here...never a reply. Shop aimed at selling but don’t expect any service afterwards.

Équipe très sympa, aussi bien au téléphone que dans le magasin j avais une révision à faire, j ai eu un rdv rapidement, une bonne prise en charge et mon vélo bien revu, en 1 jour tout etait réglé! Merci

J'arrive pas a comprendre pourquoi je paie presque 17€ pour laver ma voiture et la machine ce arret 3 fois pendant le trajet et on sortant je trouve ma voiture dans cette etat ( voir photos)

Very disappointing after sales service. No one answers the phone. I was refused to have the free maintanance service included for a new bike. Be careful and inspect well the bikes.

Très professionnels, aussi dans les études posturales. De bons conseils. Matériel de qualité. Nous avons fait l'acquisition de deux VAE Cannondale, à notre grande satisfaction .

Terrible service. I have been there for 40min and nobody cared. Even though I intended to buy 4k Eur bicycle. Just really not client orientated. I will buy that somewhere else.

Penible. Left my bike for maintenance beginning of April after a catastrophic sales talk, still not back after 6 weeks. And they don't propose any alternative. Avoid.

Tubeless tyre came unsealed after a day. Also changed a 50% worn brake pad that I didn’t ask them to and charged a fortune for it all

Ils n'ont pas aucuns de trotinettes électriques, donc pourqoui google me les montré si je cherche trotinettes électriques? Dommage!

J'y ai acheté un vélo neuf de la marque Cannondale qui a été mal préparé par eux. Du coup, j'ai eu plein de problèmes après.
