Terrible - still haven't received goods. Ordered an outdoor furniture set in early October due for delivery at the end of October (at the time of ordering). Delivery has been delayed repeatedly and now as at mid January the next estimated delivery time will be February (however likely that may be!). Domayne is blaming the supplier of the goods, so I would strongly suggest discontinuing with this supplier as from what we have been told, they keep sending ships to Australia and not one of them has docked in 3 months!! Due to the fact that Christmas was spent on camping/makeshift chairs Domayne is still refusing to provide any discount to the full advertised price of the furniture (other than free delivery and assembly that was already agreed upon at the time of purchase). Apparently (according to the outdoor salesman), they would rather cancel the order than discount as they would lose money. Who knew such as large Australian company was selling their goods at cost price and not making a profit! Customer service has been extremely poor throughout the transaction, the first two months it was soley our responsibility to call the store and keep following up on the order. Everytime you call you get someone at a computer screen telling you it's coming in next week (always next week!). From experience you need to push further and don't take this on face value, as when you push to speak to someone else, they give more detail on the time frame (which turns out to be four weeks not next week until you are likely to receive your goods). I understand that global logistic networks have been effected in the last six months but I still feel it is highly unreasonable that it takes four months to receive furniture, that at the time of purchasing was advised was due for shipment in the next few weeks. Additionally, if Domayne has such a poor supplier network, they should be compensating customers for the poor service they are providing.

Paid $4000 for a lounge (which in my opinion is very expensive!) within that cost I paid $300for scotch guard. Lounge was delivered and I was then handed a box for the scotch guarding. I said to the guy “I thought it came with scotch guard treatment included?” He said it did but that the box was for future treatment after the first year. Well a few weeks later I dropped a tiny bit of tomato on the lounge and I cleaned it up immediately. And guess what? It stained the $4000 lounge. So, it hasn’t actually been scotch guarded. I paid $300 for a box to treat the lounge. Very very very upset at domayne. Would NOT recommend. They ripped me off big time!!!! UPDATE: so I received an email from Domayne (after they read the above review) applogising that the delivery people gave me the incorrect information. But it wasn’t the delivery people but Paul Scrivens who sold me the lounge who gave me the wrong info. I asked for my $300 back from Domayne for the scotch guard months ago, yet still haven’t received a response.

Unfortunately I had to change my review. I have been having issues with the aveiro recliner lounge and I have paid so much money for them. When it first arrived it had the sloping seat which was replaced at there cost. But know it’s done the same thing and clicks and clacks while opening and closing. Not only that the recliner likes to stop out of nowhere and not work for hours and then starts working again the next morning. So the recliner seat stays open all night. There is no help from them and now want me to pay for technicians. I will have to unfortunately go to fair trading and they won’t accept responsibility there to, so eventually court. This is a lot of work just for a lounge but unfortunately while there is still dishonest companies like this, that is what needs to be done. Or they’ll keep robbing you on cheap furniture for expensive prices.

Terrible service! Rude and totally complacent with our order (Main contact Travis). We are still waiting on delivery of our outdoor table setting months after the promised delivery date ("I promise you will have you table before Christmas" - Store manager). When we call the store to ask for information we were told "You are not our customer" & "We are doing you a favor by checking on your order". After complaining about the service we were threatened with having our order canceled, being told "We will have no problems selling this to another customer". I suggest steering well clear of Doymane! If you do make a purchase from them, take all that is promised as false. Also do not complain as they could cancel your order for making a fuss.

First off, it's on the other side of the road. The shopping centre is split into two. Either side of Wickham St. Also, Hardly Normal and Domayne are both the one shop upstairs of the Homemakers Centre in the Valley. Stock is limited and did not have the beds we wanted. We still knew what we wanted and bought nearly $5000 of beds but were told no returns as we did not actually try out the beds. But they didn't have the beds to try and would not get them in for us to try. And buy today as the sale finishes today. Round and round in circles. Very poor customer service and quality. Lucky for the bed manufacturer that we were fairly confident of their manufacturing quality as opposed to the retailer service and support.

We have had such a great experience at Domayne Fortitude Valley. Firstly with Kirsty in Bedding. So knowledgeable.. She helped us find a beautiful comfortable bed and beautiful bedding. Kirsty made everything so easy and gave us great advice. So happy with our bed and beautiful manchester from Domayne top quality. We needed new dining lounge furniture and Sam the furniture manager was fantastic . He helped us too in our choice of the dining setting lounges and they are just perfect! We couldn't be happier. Both Sam and Kirsty gave us updates on delivery and did everything they could to ensure our customer satisfaction. Would highly recommend Domayne Fortitude Valley store.

Worst customer service experience ever - if I could leave zero stars, I would. We spent a small fortune on furniture last year, including x6 dining room chairs. We have barely sat on these chairs, but they are falling apart. We have contacted Domayne multiple times (which was like pulling teeth, I might add), and the best they could do - when not blatantly ignoring us - was to offer an exchange for one of the chairs. We don't want replacements, as they'll very likely fall apart too. We simply want our money back, but it seems Domayne are unwilling to entertain this. They are just hoping that if they ignore us long enough we'll go away. Woeful. Absolutely woeful.

Variety range of items. Great customer service from Thomas, salesperson. Gave us a couple of solutions to make a decision. However, when he was talking to his manager (he introduced her to us in whispering - I will ask my great manager), she spoke pretty rude to him like telling off her children. - Do not say like that to customer, you should check to the factory, You did not say like this to me .... It was not loud but we can still hear and see as we were in close distance. 1 Star minus due to her attitude. Customer (I personally) does not want to hear or see this bad scene.

Really happy with our experience at domayne. Thank you to Joyce for all your assistance. We purchased a bed mattress and all new bedding and had this all delivered 2 days later! We are super happy with the quality of everything. We decided we had second thoughts on our new pillow choice and wanted a lower profile pillow. I rang domayne the next day after delivery and informed them of our concern and they allowed us to exchange our pillows for more suitable ones! Our overall experience at domayne was amazing! Thank you to all the ladies that assisted us! Very happy

I would highly recommend Steve in particular and the team at Domayne when purchasing a bed. His knowledge, attitude and willingness to help me has been second to none. I found them to be very accommodating and client focused when assisting me arrange a complicated delivery. When Steve was not available his colleagues were still able to help me seamlessly. Being in customer service myself I can really appreciate excellent service and that's exactly what you'll get from Domayne at Fortitude Valley.

Great products, zero stars for customer service. Bought a couch from this shop and was told it was in stock in their Sydney warehouse, delivery time 2 weeks. We're more than 5 weeks later now and still no signs of getting the couch delivered. I have called the shop a couple times now and was told I would get a call back to get an update. Of course, no one has called me back. Very disappointing. Seems that the sales commission has been paid and follow up costumer service is an after thought.

Furniture on their floor are nice, and the ladies at the shop were helpful. However, the bed we bought - supposed to be come in small pieces and needs to be assembled, was not small pieces and the delivery guy refused to brought it down to bedroom with some excuses. If we knew it is so bulky we wouldn't buy it. It's now sitting in the living room and we have to think about what to do. This delivery incident brought down our review from 5 star to 2.

Ordered the Toledo lounge chairs at the end of April. Was told worse case scenario they will arrive in August. Now in August they say the order has been lost and will have to be re-ordered. They then said they would push for a six week delivery. Why couldn’t they have done that from the beginning? We just asked and received our $1200 deposit back. I would not shop here if this is how an order is handled. Go elsewhere.

My wife and I order a leather lounge and outdoor table setting - a large purchase. The delivery guys dropped off the table and it was broken. We contacted customer support and detailed the issue. The table was replaced in under 3 weeks and the delivery manager personally rang us to apologise. All-in-all the customer service was very good. Deducted one star because the original table arrived damaged.

Always underwhelming! We try to avoid going to Domayne but sometimes they have pretty nice, if overpriced products. However, every time we feel that the staff are either downright rude or simply miserable and disinterested in you as a customer. We always come away with a unpleasant feeling about the whole transaction. After the last experience we will definitely give others our business first!

Went here to look at the Cleo set before buying. Not in stock. Why sell something worth so much money that people can’t look at first. Then I was told to go to Sunshine Coast to look at it. I live Southside. I’m going back to Nick Scali. Their staff were nicer. Domayne staff stared at me and I had to go to them ultimately to get no help.

I called this store for the price on a product and they tried to charge me $100 more than the Domayne store in Maroochydoore. $899 from Maroochydoore with $80 delivery to Brisbane, $999 from Fortitude Valley with $85 delivery to Brisbane... I would recommend calling around to other stores if you find something you like.

Recently purchased the Trentham bed from Domayne. Waited nearly 9 weeks to be made but very happy with the end result. Looks amazing! Steve very helpful with information in store and over the phone. Delivery went smoothly and drivers were friendly, polite and phoned on arrival. Will happily buy from Domayne again.

Couldn't be happier with the furniture we bought and also the sales and after-sales service. We had a slight issue with some latches on a buffet and Domayne handled it professionally and promptly. Compared with Nick Scali (whose after-sales service was very poor), we would always recommend Domayne.

The absolute worst customer service after you purchase. Purchased bedside tables on December 30, only received them 19th April and then one of the drawers was faulty. Staff don't return calls, or give updates when furniture is arriving. Will never shop here again

Bought a very expensive lounge with the fabric protection. In less that a couple of months, noticed a stain. Domayne refused to cover me for any warranty fixtures and the protection company were just as bad. WILL NOT recommend to anyone.

Andrea was so helpful and knowledgeable. The Onland brand Diamond Executive office chair is so comfy and has a ten year warranty, attractive price, adjustable in every way, good looking, and good for the big and or tall.

If you go in make sure to ask for Sam. We had a horrible delivery experience and found some of their staff quite condescending. The furniture and appliances are fine and Sam certainly made up for the other lacking areas.
