I hate to leave bad reviews, but also don't want someone else to run into the same scenario as I did. I recently had to rent a car with a one way drop off from Indy Airport to Louisville Kentucky Airport. After trying to do this on the Kiosk, the girl at the front desk (who had been fully familiarized with the situation) booked me a car, verbally confirmed that the drop off point was to Louisville and offered to email me the documentation. Given that we had discussed everything, I (wrongly) assumed that the reservation was processed correctly according to my request. While filling up gas near Louisville, I took a minute to check my emails, one of which included my Enterprise confirmation. At this point I noticed that she had plugged in the wrong drop-off point. I immediately called customer service to have them adjust and asked them to leave notes pertaining to our call. Customer service acknowledged that it was their mistake and said that they would make a note on my file to ensure that I would be able to drop off in Louisville with no problems and no additional drop off fee for dropping off to an unspecified location (I asked her to please confirm this multiple times, because I was scared of a steep fee). Of course when dropping off the car, I had multiple problems, one of which being the drop off fee that customer service had explicitly promised I would not encounter. The folks at the service desk in Louisville brushed me off for 20 minutes and were also no help whatsoever, since I did not make the booking through them (granted it was not their fault for the Indy branch's mistake, but a little empathy would have gone a long way). Now, at the end of the day, I should have reviewed the documentation immediately to confirm everything was correct, so I take that responsibility. However, Enterprise completely dropped the ball on 1) Listening to the customer and creating an accurate reservation, 2) Engaging in and delivering upon the assurances made during a customer service conversation, 3) Following up with the customer to resolve the issue, 4) Having an open line of correspondence for customers (I've called Enterprise's Indy Airport office over 30 times, but have not once gotten through and the call is always disconnected before I can reach a real person). After three weeks of trying to resolve the issue, I'm still on the hook for the $125.00 up charge of an different drop off point. Therefore, I highly recommend double checking everything provided to you, so that you don't run into a similar situation.
I called Enterprise looking for a rental van to drive my family to Oklahoma to see our son graduate from the Army this past week (the week after prime-time fall break dates.) If it wasn't bad enough that the only location in Indiana that had anything larger than a car was the Airport location, our entire deposit was absorbed in special airport taxes. How can this be? Why on earth is it $1000 for 5 days in a van that was returned on time and in perfect condition? The rental was quoted at unlimited miles on a weekly rate of $567.12 BEFORE taxes. My final bill was $1007.53. Have you ever heard of; a customer facility charge of $5/day, a concession recovery fee of $11.11/day, a vehicle license fee of 0.15/day, Marion Excise tax of $6/day, a rental excise tax of $4/day, 2 additional driver fees of $15/each/day? This is inflation and greed at its finest. In fact, I called when I received the receipt to explain that there was only one driver on the reservation, the same person that rented and drove the vehicle and they refunded one additional driver fee of $107. She couldn't explain why the there is an additional driver fee left on the bill at all. Additionally, I called Enterprise on Saturday morning to find out if returning the car 36 hours early would result in any kind of price reduction given it was a weekly rate. I was told the difference would be $16 so I CHOSE to return the van only a few hours early. Sounds like customer service needs training and education on what these fees are, how to do the math, and being upfront rather than calling the extra $300 a deposit instead of a charge. This is really sad and comes at a time when people are already struggling with the economic changes. We put all of our money together to be with our son as he graduated from the Army and now we owe the credit card company at no fault of our own. I'm genuinely in shock. The saddest part of all of this is, the customer care and location staff were extremely kind and the van was nice with no issues. The experience could have easily been wonderful without the blatant inflation.
Indianapolis airport enterprise-Sunday 8,2022 2 pm, approx. Dropped off in front of the rental car location the by the Bloomington shuttle. So limped over to Enterprise kiosk with my cane, suitcase, flight bag...I was told to go back to the airport to check in. I have a reservation-why? everyone standing around the national kiosk-the enterptise kiosk closed apparently. the guy said oh ok...gave me a car with 63,000 miles seats 4 not 5; gas tank not full-- should have been, paid for that; greasy steering wheel, a rubbing sound from below..$855 dollars for a week, prepaid gas. the car used 1/4 tank of gas in the 20 miles I put on it doing a u turn to bring it back to enterprise. pulled in, different guy says go up ask for a different car. I asked for help since I'm injured. the guy says-I quote- "no...take your stuff and walk over there". I waited, not sure what to do, and i was going to cry. he comes back says I can't help you...you have to go up there. ok. another guy at the kiosk speaks to me like he is doing me a favor, gives me a different car-I'm a plus member-more like one of the 100s of cars i am used to renting over the years from enterprise-no paperwork, no help with the bag-no check up walk around the car-nothing-"keys in the car"-just walks away. nice car. I am now over an hour off schedule. when i return the car on 5/11, I mention the problems to the guy who checks me in...I quote "I have sent a message to my branch manager. he will call you". Nothing. so, to sum it up: treated poorly on 2 different days by 4 different men and one no-how branch manager. I have been renting from Enterprise for years all over the country. Never ever been treated so poorly ever by any company.
i would never EVER rent from the airport ever again. I have been a enterprise plus member for 7 years I had the worst custemer service here. I rented the car initially for a week less than 24 hours the cars oil change and filter alarm started I called the 800 number to make sure they have another car waiting for me because I know the airport is busy. The lady told me they would have it. I get there of course they don't they gave me a small car still charged me the saw. The lady that helped me was rude. She made m feel as if it's my fault that the alarm was going off and I had to exchange it. She didn't know what she was going because another guy was helping her and instead of asking me directly he kept asking her instead of asking me when I told her that I was hurry. They kept talking to the other girl from Alamo on how great the day is and they rented all there cars and only had two left (while I'm still standing there)She never walked me to my car or walked around it as enterprise always does. she just handed me the keys at the counter, and pointed to the car. I was dumb founded and so angry I just walked to the car and just wanted to get out of there. Will she never updated whatever she needed to in the system because I help up the line while having because the lady that scans the car and my id couldn't find my agreement. I HAVE NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER HAD such bad customer service I left crying I even called corporate to complain I wouldn't recommend this location. The only positive was when I returned the Malibu the guy that took my keys was very kind and seemed like he cared.
I have been an exclusive Enterprise customer for 10 years, because of there attention to detail and their customer service. However, that is about to change. The last couple of cars I have rented have not been meticulously cleaned, which is what I have come to expect from Enterprise. This last car, was by far, the worst. I couldn't even see out of the windshield, and I am not sure who rented it before me, but there was a lot of smudges, of unsure stuff, throughout the car. It took my son & I three tries to get whatever the film was off the windshield, to safely drive the vehicle. I did the pre-check in procedure, which as intended, made the pick up process much easier. Again, however, the attendant who gave me the car, did not do a walk around with me, which was important, because this particular car also had a dent on the passenger rear tire well. When I dropped the car off, the individual did the walk around, and since it wasn't noted initially, was going to make it MY fault. I always get the damage waiver with my cars, so I am not going to charged for it, but, if I had not had that insurance, we would be having a completely different conversation. I am going to start looking for a different company, that takes pride in their service and products. Good bye Enterprise. Update: apparently, they appreciate (wierd word for it), my feedback. No concerns for it, or doing anything about it.
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with enterprise. First off getting to the actual location was so frustrating that not even navigation could get me there. I had2 circle around a loop at least 5times and the sign only tells us where to go for return but it is not specific for pickup. When we finally found the spot to go to pick up I went into the building and no1 was at the counter. There was a sign that read all staff were in the garage so I walked across the street to the garage and stood in line for at least 15mins b4 some1 finally walked over and asked me if I am renting a vehicle from enterprise. I responded yes and he asked for my drivers license and my card I’m paying with. I pulled my drivers license and my bank card and handed them to this man who looked at the info and asks if I am flying directly out of the airport. In my head I’m thinking this is a very dumb question since if I were flying directly out of the airport why would I need a rental car from the airport? But I just responded no. He then proceeded to tell ask me if I have any major credit cards because if I do not then they are unable to help me unless I was flying directly out of the airport. This is very vital information that should be more transparent with your customer upon making our reservations. Never will I ever go2 this ridiculous location again.
I rented a Ford Fusion a few days ago and I loved it. The one thing I did not like is that I had to wait in the parking garage line for a little while before somebody asked me if I had registered and paid for my car yet. Then I had to walk all the way across the street across traffic to pay for it inside the actual airport. It's not as bad when you're prepared for it; as a first time buyer I wasn't. I feel like there should be a sign or something on the door that says please register and pay for your vehicle inside airport prior to coming into this line. Other than that a great experience. The one thing that stood out was that the worker gave me 3 choices instead of just assigning me a car; maybe not that rare or special but I appreciated it. The one thing I wish enterprise will consider is possibly looking at driving records or something because I have a perfect driving record but I'm only 22 and got charged an extra $48 young drivers fee. I know must rental places do that but It would've been much more pleasant if they could've waived that or even just start out as a hold like they put other deposits on your card and then be reimbursed it when you bring the car back with no accidents! That would be nice. Even I would've have been more motivated to rent more days if that was something they did!
Good day to you to all who read this. Below is my experience that will be updated as time goes by. Dec. 11 2021 At the reception desk I met Jake. He was really friendly, cool and willing to help. I have never rented a car before and this gentleman answered all my questions concerning prices, insurance and coverages they had, fueling etc. to great detail. Very kind as well and very polite. After being set up, I was directed to the parking area and was assisted by a gentleman called Eli(Elijah). Again, I was treated with respect and I had a lot of questions ans concerns as I stated above, this was my first time renting a car. He got me into a 2021 Camry with ~6000 miles. Really clean car no dents, not scratched and most delightful of all, wonderfully clean. This was a really friendly and welcoming experience. I encourage anyone who needs a rental to look for these two gentleman and ger set right. Thank you Jake and thank you Eli. Late Edit: I passed my due exams and was about to fly out to Dallas. Eli and Jake were ok with adding another driver and letting them keep the car as long as they met what I agreed to upon pick up. Great service and great people. I advise you, if you ever get to interact with them they will sort you out. Keep it up Jake and Eli. Regards, Brian.
Ah... I never imagined one day I will be writing a positive review on car rental places, but this truly deserves one. This is how bad Southwest messed up that I am leaving five star review to a car company - yep... Long story short, got stock in Indianapolis. I was suppose to fly home, from Miami, but the connecting flight got cancelled on me. So, I am in place with my family (including a 3 year old kid) I don't know, and it is sub zero. No worm close at all in the middle of the night. After a brief fight with Southwest workers I realized something bigger is going on, and looked like there was no way to fly out for the forceable future. This was on December 24, we did not know what about to come.!!! No trust in airline I decided drive myself and my family home for the next 16 hours. I run out of airport with my shorts on in a sub zero temperature. I saw someone a front of the Enterprise kiosk. I bagged to speed up my rental process, otherwise I will freeze to death... Honestly, less then a minute (no joke), I had the car key... Ohhhh. Made it home by Christmas. Thank you! This is a well deserved review.
I would never recommend renting from here, especially if you live in town. I would rent from another facility, even if it's enterprise but just not from the airport. They tack on a whole bunch of extra fees so you think it's cheaper but by the time you get all the fees, it isn't cheaper. They also do not allow you to use a debit card unless you have a flight. Which I have never had an issue renting from them before with a debit card but all of a sudden now there's a problem. Also, I have never been charged a fee for being an hour late to dropping off but this place charges you every single hour. Maybe I just have a good report with all the other facilities because I rent so much but that's just crazy to me that you are gonna charge almost $40 for 1 hour. My daughter had an appointment at Cincinnati children's hospital and we were late getting back by an hour and we got charged $40. I am a single mom just trying to get by and have to go to Ohio to get her medical care and you are going to take advantage of that. Absolutely ridiculous. The customer service is also horrible, too.
This past experience is THE WORST!!! I've never had a complaint until $400 was taken out of my account, and then after receiving a receipt via email for my charges my card was ran again!!! Never mind the fact that I spent almost $1800 renting the vehicle, but just the fact that money is being taken WITHOUT my approval is good enough for me not to return!!! Also a bag of mines was left in a car 6/9/2017, my birthday shoes.... I've called and came into the store MULTIPLE times in which I was told that the customer that took the car knew my shoes were in the car! The customer returned the car in JUNE and yet as of 7/11/2017 I STILL DONT HAVE MY SHOES!!! Five pair of brand new shoes just vanish and the only thing I'm being told is that they left the client a voicemail!!! I've been beyond patient but at this point something else needs to happen!! There is confirmation from videos and the customer that my shoes were left in the car yet Enterprise has not attempted to make a solution to this obvious problem.
I'd like to give a personal shout out to Damien H. who went above and beyond for me and my group. My original reservation was with Thrifty. Per my arrival to Indianapolis Thrifty tripled the payment my reservation quote said, then when I refused to pay that price they told me the only other car they had available for a 2-day rental was going to be $1,700. What a joke. I was now out of a rental and on a tight schedule to be somewhere and I had no car. The individual I spoke with at Thirfty recommended I walk to the other car rental companies to see if they'd take walk ups because they couldn't help me. Damien was working the front desk at Enterprise. We explained what happened and he was happy to help. He reserved a nicer vehicle for us at the same price my original Thirty reservation quoted me. We were in and out. We were so thankful and grateful for his customer service. Thank you Enterprise!
I have to give a shout out to everyone at the Indianpolis airport Enterprise location. I was blown away by the customer service and my overall experience. It could not have been better! Kim graciously helped me book my car before I arrived. Bryson kindly greeted me and help me sign my contract. Amar generously upgraded me to my dream car, a jeep! Brock helped me and my seven month old daughter safely get into the vehicle with the car seat and stroller and many bags. During drop off, Ralen warmly greeted me back and helped me get the car returned and everything unloaded. All of these associates really made an impact on me, which is why I remember all their names! I hope to come back to Indy soon, just so I can rent from them again! Thank you for going above and beyond to make me feel so welcomed and cared for. I am so grateful for you and all your hard work!
Renting a car for your trip can be stressful, especially when the desk jockey gets a kick out of telling you there it is, take it or leave it, it's just another day for them. In the US there are certain places that just like to be unhelpful, but Covid-mode works for us now. Salt Lake City has driven us crazy in years past. We love to visit our kids and grandkids, but hate the airport and car rentals. Our last trip was fantastic since we got to choose the car that was right for us. No more Droopy Don's refusing to answer questions. No more Dreadful Debbie's informing us that they are unable to upgrade our car because that's more work for them. We walked over to the aisle with freshly cleaned cars, read the list of covid-clean points, and climbed in one beauty that was ready to go! Beautiful. Oh, yeah, it was a great trip and we'll do it again!
Kristin Ramsey has a bad attitude and exerts her managerial power in a way that does not serve the client. She made racist remarks and stated I wanted a handout. She definitely needs a professional ethics class. She got upset because something was wrong with an enterprise car and I wanted to switch it for another car. She did not want to honor my upgrade which was already given to me by another enterprise. My grandmother died the night before and I was trying to get home. Kristin brought me a car without a trunk. I explained that I didn't have anywhere to put my luggage. She was angry and looked hungry. This is how people treat others when they have been bullied in the past. Kristin don't blame your past on others. This is not the way to treat Enterprise customers. Jenn had a great attitude and finished the transaction with no problems.
Was sent here from 45 minutes away to do a swap out and upon arrival there's not a sound in the building ?!? Like what's going on ? Customer service is closed and I can't get any help ... terrible terrible experience. Completely over enterprise at the moment . Went inside office and waited around for about 2 hours and not a soul. Just spoke with Ken in the office at the airport who Assured me They were open! However, they closed the booth and consolidate their cars over to Alamo? Said there was signage that would display that. There was certainly no signage. They said Entterprise is closed. Go over to Alamo. There was no email saying the Entterprise booth is going to be closed so walk over To Alamo. Extremely confusing I am at this location every single night from 8 to 11 and I have never seen it like this.
I have always been an Enterprise user, but my experience at the Indy Airport location has me rethinking that. 20 minutes before my reservation I received a call from the manager saying they had to cancel my reservation because there were no cars available. I walked to the lot and saw several luxury upgrades available, and offered to pay full price for one. No luck. Then a customer comes up behind me and they walk him to a car right away. There was no attempt to help me rebook through a different company, or to get a car from a different enterprise location. I was left on my own to talk to other rental companies to find a car. For a brand that stands for customer service, I received none at all. Sixt Rent A Car was very helpful on the other hand, and got me on the road after only 5 minutes at their counter.
Within ten minutes of walking off the escalator, I'd done everything: 1) Signed-in at the indoor kiosk while the Customer Service Rep was helping someone else 2) Walked out to the station in the parking garage with my printed ticket from the kiosk 3) Was promptly shown two options from which I could choose for my economy car 4) Signed the waiver on the tablet 5) Started driving to my destination Drop-off was even easier. I was done in less than one minute: 1) Pulled up to the station 2) Handed the keys to the awaiting Customer Service Rep who'd pulled up my reservation as I parked the car 3) Confirmed that I'd filled up the gas tank 4) Did a quick walk-around to visually inspect the car No issues with the car. The whole process was smooth as silk. I wish all car rental experiences were like this.
PROS: First car had a "check engine" light come on after a couple of days. Immediately called the office and worked out the details to get a replacement - hassle free. CONS: Second car smelled like a "pot-party" had taken place in the vehicle and for multiple days...it was beyond description. RECURRING POINT: Enterprise is the primary company I have used for rental cars and usually due to their lower cost. However, I've yet to get a car that looked or felt clean. Even though many have just been "cleaned" they are ALWAYS covered in water spots, grimy windows and the insides look as if they have NEVER been cleaned - especially the windows. Considering they claim they are doing a sanitary "COVID 19" cleaning - it sure doesn't feel that way. Not so sure the few dollars saved is worth it.
To be fair I have rented from here numerous times and always very happy. This time they really let me down. I rented a car from this Fort Wayne location to go to the Indianapolis Airport to catch a flight. They were supposed to arrange for a rental when I arrived back from my overseas trip. I was assured that it was all taken care of. When I returned I learned that there was not a rental already set up for me. And I was forced to take a much more expensive rental just to drive back to Fort Wayne. It cost me $259 to use a rental for just 3 hours. I learned later that in order to rent a vehicle from the airport you have to go to that airport and make arrangements there. You cannot make arrangements for a rental from anywhere other than an airport location. Very, very disappointed!
I have used Enterprise at the Indy airport at least four or five times in the past year. Each time, I have received exceptional service from beginning to end of the experience. I particularly appreciate how they have someone meet you as you walk out to get your car so you don't have to search and figure out the paperwork on your own. The whole process is very streamlined from check in at the desk inside to leaving the facility. The return process is similarly streamlined and fast. All of the employees are incredibly courteous and professional. Each time I have gotten a car, the individual accompanying me to the vehicle has made sure I am comfortable with the set up and how to use the car. Again - can't give them enough good marks for truly exceptional customer service.
Among my car rental experiences, this has been the worst. Staff are lacking the proper way to treat customer with respect and friendliness. They don’t know how to make frustrating issues better, they would make it worse. I was refused to get a premium car or standard suv because of my age even though enterprise policy states otherwise. The worst part is that each employee there makes up their policies. The guy working at the garage was very stubborn to ask for help on policies and refused to give me a car which I ended up taking after being delayed and mistreated. I felt disrespected and frustrated and no one there was working towards making it better for me. My experience was worse at first and then got to the worst.
Renting a car was easy as pie, unexpected $300.00 deposit, but great experience. After return is when the problem raised. I paid for my car rental in full through my Alligant airfare ticket. After returning the car Everything checked out great deposit was ok to be returned.. I returned on the 5th of April today is 22nd of April, still NO DEPOSIT RETURNED TO MY DEBIT CARD!! When called and ask enterprise the reason they stated that Alligant has not paid them the money I've already paid with my ticket. THEY ARE HOLDING MY DEPOSIT AND MAKING ME PAY TWICE WHEN THE PROBLEM IS BETWEEN ALLIGANT AND ENTERPRISE..Dont recommend them they will take your deposit when it's not your falut. Use anther car rental if you can!!!!
Had to wait a couple of days after my reservation to get the vehicle I reserved online. They called and said they oversold their vehicles. They said their website isn't up to date with their current inventory. Once we secured the vehicle they didn't give us a discount. Tried to charge us $200 more than the reservation price but then after pointing out that wasn't the agreement they said they would honor the reservation price. once we received the vehicle it said the tires were all low and the oil needed to be changed. We did let them know before we left the property but they told us it was fine to drive.
Been renting from Enterprise for years, and it's always been a great experience. This last time, the Enterprise agent told me that the computer couldn't verify my address and that I needed to go home and bring back 2 current utility bills. Just 7 days earlier I had just returned a enterprise vehicle that I had rented for 32 days. They said it was a 3rd party system that they used. Mine you none of my information had changed. Needless to say, I went somewhere else to rent a car, and haven't been back to Enterprise, also I'm an Enterprise Plus member.............
First I want to say I am returning customer and I generally like and use Enterprise. That being said I was really disappointed with this place. When I arrived to Enterprise I had to wait for the customer service agent to stop flirting with the customer and the only customer line. Well after that and it took way longer than needed to. I walk to the parking garage to get my car. When I got to the garage area of Enterprise I was greeted by very friendly staff member who ask if I would like a bottle water and I thought yes and it turned out to be $3.50 water.
I would have given a much lower rating if it weren't for Justin who works the Enterprise / National desk in the parking garage at Indianapolis Airport. I had to sit at Firestone the day before for a tire to be replaced on my original Enterprise car rental. Justin hooked me up with a complimentary upgrade when he heard about and looked up the mechanical problems I had with the original rental. Justin was very helpful and courteous and saved Enterprise from getting a much worse review on here. Thank you for your help Justin, you should be promoted!
Great experience at this location. We placed a reservation online for a small SUV which was unavailable, and the staff upgraded us to a 2022 Chevrolet Suburban at no extra cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The vehicle was ready to go and the process took no more than 5 minutes. The vehicle was spotless and immaculate inside. I went with Enterprise after reading bad reviews about Hertz. I am glad I made that decision and I would have paid double for the convenience and service that was offered. I would highly recommend.
Will never use this location again. I made a reservation several weeks ago with an associate on the phone. Arrive today to get my rental only to be told I can't rent from this particular location with my debit card. Has to be a major credit card which I don't have. Informed me I could rent from any other location with a debit card. Kind of impossible considering it is spring break and March Madness in Indy so no other cars are available. Thanks for ruining my vacation Enterprise
As a company, I really like Enterprise. While I was ultimately able to resolve my issue, I thought it would be useful to remind people to always check the fine print when you rent from this particular branch. They mistakenly charged me for extra insurance I did not order -- and were unavailable when I tried to call and have it corrected. I had to physically come back to the branch to make sure the charges were cancelled. Not very convenient for my one-way out-of-state rental.
I called enterprise customer service ahead of time and got all of my answers promptly. I had a late flight (landed at 1:30am) and enterprise still held my car since I had entered my flight info. Returning the car was an extremely easy and quick process, and they even threw away a large luggage for us that we needed to dispose since it had broken. My only suggestion is that their signage for late check in is more clear- but overall the experience at this location was great!
So my experience for the first time since I've rented from Enterprice started real bad. From being told I would get a call back for possible pick up, then never got called. To being told I'll have to delay my vacation till the morning. Caused me for the first time to talk to a manager. Shawn (Store Manager) from the minute he took my call till after I returned my vehicle was able to gain my business. I appreciate his tenacity in getting my situation fixed the same day.
Efficient, friendly staff makes renting a breeze. The drawback is that both times I have made a reservation at least a couple of months in advance and despite arriving just after lunchtime, the SUV size I requested was unavailable. Given multiple physical challenges, I need a specific size and upgrading to something larger despite the "perk", is simply not an option for me. Nor is going with anything smaller than requested. Going to look elsewhere for my next trip.
John...thank you. Thank you for hearing my cause through the wonderful and caring receptionist at the corporate office on Washington after the terrible, racist fiascal with Enterprises W. Washington street branch. Thank you for putting me in a better vehicle with a great price and the respect EVERY customer deserves. You pulled strings and jumped a few hoops to put me on the road during my visit and for that I am grateful. God bless you.
What a wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Some of the best service I’ve ever received anywhere. And the variety of cars and options they offered were beyond comparisons. Enterprise is so fortunate to have such dedicated help before, during and after the pandemic. I especially gives the thumbs up to one young man, Trey! Any company would be fortunate to have him but Enterprise does. Wow! What a team but such young dedicated employees!
Excellent customer service!! My vehicle had been totaled out from a accident and I needed a replacement for work. The Pendleton Pike branch put me in a vehicle the same day after numerous other failed attempts from other rental companies. The rental agent even stayed after closing time, I had to call him and let him know I was stuck in traffic and was going to be about ten minutes late. I’m a lifetime customer going forward.
They gave me a out-of-state car and the license plate expired literally half year ago! I was pull over by the police on my way in the midnight and I didn't know what's going on at all. I have to wait over night and the next morning I have to drive all the way to another branch and swap the car. They usually have new and clean cars without any damage, but for all the future customers, do a double check with their tag as well.
There terrible they care left me stranded middle of the highway so tried too taking it too them turned a hour ride into 2 hours n 30 mins get there with vehicle n was treated very rude even after being a loyal customer this place is a joke the big manager talks too people like there his kids I wouldn't recommend this place at all correct your mistakes instead of making the customer feel bad there cars are poor maintained
My arrival & deparure quick & simple. My depature so quick i was pushed on super easy & fast. However, i forgot and important folder from my training inside the car and for 3 days i have yet to reach anyone at the location. I have called numerous times, hung up on numerous times and still havent spoke to a person yet. For Enterprise to pride themselves on serving the customer this was not a great representation.
I would give a zero if I could. Went to pick up car today my confirmation was for 2pm which is when they close. They didn't have the car like the last 3 times I rented from them. Then the manager who was headed out or maybe he was an associate said I've set the alarm sorry. I went in prior to my car rental day 2 days early because there is always a problem and still no car. He did not try and help @ all.
They have a friendly and efficient staff. Yesterday was no different. Even the manager made sure we were satisfied before we left. It was very kind of him to check on us. This location is about 25 minutes south of where I live. There are other locations that are closer but I always go to the airport. They have great customer service and I'm always happy with the service. It is why I always chose them.
Got here late Wednesday night due to flight delay (over an hour). No one the counter in the terminal. Was helped quickly and out of the parking lot in less than 30 minutes. Enterprise should have a policy that wiper blades are checked regain the winter (especially when a heavy rainstorm is present. Had difficulty that night due to poor quality blades and a very heavy rainstorm the night of 12/14/22.
Got on the time customer service was bad. Woman was very rude. I waited for half an hour. I had my reservation email and the number she said rudely that it is not showing. I even showed my email confirmation but she said I can’t do anything about that. I called customer service they said that I had reservation of the car but I don’t know why their syestem was not showing. she was very rude .
Great customer service! A special thank you to Josh G for providing a wonderful experience! After a long flight and having to drive for another 2 hours into Louisville, Josh made sure we had a car that provided extra room and comfort. I appreciate the extra mile and how seamless the process of renting a car was from the counter to the car pick up area! Thank you! Dr. R.A. Marshall, Las Vegas
My family and I came in for thanksgiving in Indiana and the rental car I had booked did not fit our giant double stroller. I talked to Henry the station manager and he was so accommodating and let me pick another vehicle with no rebooking or any other hassle. They were phenomenal and I am so grateful for their kindness and exceptional customer service. Highly recommend renting from them.
The car ended up being nice, however the pick up process I had to wait. I had a reservation for noon pick-up and upon arrival the car was not available as it wasn't on the lot yet. Had to wait 15 mins for it to show up, and then upon arrival had to wait another 10 mins for them to clean it. My company had just recently switched car rental providers so this wasn't a good first impression.
overpriced chevy p/u stripped down $90 rental for one day awful. The last minute added hidden fee of 10 bux showed up on final email after we left. Crooks, they will never get my business again, however Thrifty rental. only the next day, booked through Priceline, was half as much and there were no hidden added fees Use Priceline and use Thrifty, stay away from these people, or call Uber
The crew at this airport doesn’t know anything about the companies policies. I asked if I’d be charged an extra if I dropped the car off a few hours after the delivery time the next day, I was assured by the supervisor “absolutely not, you have 24 hours after you drop off the car”. Come to find out that’s not accurate, and I was charged for an extra day. Don’t believe a word they say.
Enterprise always does a good job for us unfortunately my wife needed to be picked up from our home on this occasion. The staff at the Lawrence location has always been polite and professional but they are so short staffed and over worked and the wait time reflects it. So if you use them please be prepared when you get there so the rest of us don't have to wait longer than necessary.
Thank you Enterprise for saving us. We had a prepaid car with Dollar - who didn't actually have a car for us when we arrived and pretty much refused to help out. Told us to go over to Enterprise who had loads of cars available and even upgraded us. We had to drive outside Indianapolis after a delayed flight, so without your help we would have been stranded at the airport. Thank you!
Easily the least attractive rental car I have ever used. Plenty of exterior damage to note before driving it off the lot. I made a video of the cigarette burns to the interior as well, so I wouldn’t get dinged for that damage. But did it get me from Point A to Point B? Yes, yes it did. Did the backup camera stay on for a nauseatingly long time as I rolled down the road? Also yes.
So Enterprise which is now part of or partnered with national? I guess I'm still super confused about that whole thing. Anyway the folks here are outstanding at service but super understaffed and overworked. I hope at least they're being appreciated cuz they're doing a great job with what they've been given. Don't expect a super clean car here but it will get you from A to B.
This is the most wonderful place in the world. they were so accommodating. after the trip from hell. their staff loaded my bags offered all the comforts they were able to. the customer service here was second to none and also had the cheapest price of those car rental places at the airport. if i ever need a car to rent this is the first place i would call by a long shot
Won't lie, I had never rented a car before and these guys made it pretty easy. The site was straightforward with the best prices at the time, all of the employees I interacted with were super nice, and even though a rock made a small crack on the windshield, they didn't charge me any extra or give me any grief. I will absolutely use Enterprise going forward.
I called around everywhere trying to book a car for not quite being 25 years old yet. I got as far as an extra fee per day with other car rental places but they all required a major credit card which I cannot get yet. This place had welcoming staff and I was able to book a car easy with being able to pick it up and drop it off and them being open 24/7.
Branch manager, Nate should consider a different career path. He doesn't know the first thing about serving customers. He would best suited as a middle school principal the way he treats people. His own employees say they think he is better than everyone else. Congrats Nate, you really made it in life being a Branch Manager at Enterprise!!!
Great experience here, too. Helped right away, walked to the car, walked around the car for the inspection, upgraded to a better car than I had booked without any problems or hassle, able to get settled and be on the way quickly. Staff remembered me upon return and helped me get into the terminal and on my way. Shout out to Brad and Arturo!
Please give Ryan at the Enterprise Rental Car at the Indianapolis Airport a raise! Top notch customer service! Our flight was delayed from KC and we showed up a little after midnight. Ryan was more than happy to wait for us and made check-in very smooth. When booking a vehicle at the airport, go see Ryan at Enterprise, you won't be sorry!
Wonderful experience. Although, there was not a wide range of cars available in the category approved by my employer, and the couple that were, had issues, I was upgraded to a BMW, which drive beautifully! Made my business trip much more enjoyable. Thank you Enterprise and to the lovely gentleman at the Indianapolis Airport location.
Very friendly service at both the desk and in the garage within the Ground Transportation Center at Indianapolis International Airport. I like that there were about 20 cars and SUVs to select from. My son and I checked all of them for the leg and trunk room. Once we picked the SUV we liked best we were able to check out and leave.
The people are always friendly however they suffer Administration issues such as car class not available, cars provided with issues (low tire pressure, nothing to scrape off ice, received smoking car), 2x no rental agreement sent, and incorrect invoicing. They remain the best pricing so I continue to go back. Just take care.
Alexis and her manager were super helpful getting me into a car that would fit my needs after two previously disappointing trips to other branches in the same number of days. I was about to give up on enterprise but they really turned the experience around. Everyone was nice, helpful and understanding. Awesome job!
We had a really good experience and we had a car from Southbend that wasn’t good at all and we came to Indianapolis for a college visit but we didn’t want to drive back in that car so they switched it got us with a better car with no problem thanks to Jordan Ringel and Evan Lewis they deserve something for that !
I had a great experience renting with enterprise. We were going on a family roadtrip with toddlers lol and reserved a mid size suv. Again, we had toddlers so we didn't exactly get there in time for our reservation, we ended up getting a minivan which worked out perfectly, there was no Hassel or long wait.
The Indianapolis Airport location is the worst. No one answers the phone. On my second car of the day. First one, bad breaks. Second car smells like smoke. Picked both up in Westfield, IN. Customer service said contact airport location to swap for the 3rd car. Gonna cancel my Emerald Club Membership soon.
Hidden fees and taxes are ridiculous. I pre-paid through Allegiant and after I returned the car they deducted almost another 300 from my account without any notice. The taxes..hidden fees and surcharges were almost 95 percent. So I payed double what the airline promised. Will never rent from them again .
Jeff was wonderful and friendly while checking me in yesterday! Prompt service.. Put me in a clean nice vehicle and ensured that it was disinfected. Even offered to run it through cleaning again before I left! I always have a wonderful experience with the staff at enterprise at the Indianapolis airport.
Enterprise is on the cheap side of rental cars but it's sort of the premium version of the cheaper rental companies. The service was good as usual and the staff were friendly. The car was okay but not the best. You get what you pay for. Everything was easy enough to use and there were no complications.
possibly the best rental experience Ive had in recent memory. The rep at the counter was pleasant, then Mike assisted me in the garage to choose a car and then helped me when I chose to swap out at the last second. Finally even the lady working the booth at the exit was super nice and engaging.
My family was going to visit our home country which we haven't seen in 7 years and we were promised a 12 seater but this being the worst service ever apparently 'didn't have' the 12 seater so a family friend had to wake up at 4 am to help us, this truthfully deserves a -500000000000000
Big thank you to Allison Metcalf for helping my kids and I today. I came up kind of flustered and disorganized from a long day of travel with 2 toddlers and she stayed patient, kind, and helpful through the whole process. Got to grandpas for Thanksgiving just in time. Thanks again!
The directions were horrible. Service was great. The main call center would or could not connect me with a person I needed but turned out good once we got a person here in our hometown. Car is clean and they showed us 5 to choose from plus full tank of gas. Ready to hit the road!
Had to switch my first rental in a few hours after getting it, everytime we get a Nissan this happens. We come out of our way from our trip to change the car, added an extra 2 hours to our long trip. And no accommodation to a nicer vehicle gave us a smaller car then what we had.
I am an emerald executive elite with National and Enterprise owns National, so I get the same status with them. This location has tracked my rentals there at the airport and have started letting me pick my car with them. The counter is always professional, cars are great.
My recent rental car experience from Enterprise exceeded all my expectations. The employees were amazing and took extra streps to make sure my rental experience was quick and easy. It was wonderful to be a recipient of this kind of customer service. Thank you Enterprise!
I have very good experiences from Enterprise. I've been renting from them for years and they never fail to go above and beyond. Josh at the Washington, MO location has by far been the most courteous, understanding and all around best CSR rep I've seen in a long time!
I haven't always had the best experience with Enterprise but Tori, at the Lawrence location, has single handedly changed that. He always goes above and beyond to make sure that I have the vehicles I need and he is the only reason I keep renting with Enterprise.
Poor service. I see my AirTag at the airport through the Find My app weeks after accidentally leaving it on my keychain, yet they claim nothing was found. They also tried to charge me for an extra day but reversed the charge after checking my pickup time
Great car nice ride. Roomy. It was out of washer fluid and I couldn't get the hood open to fill. Tahoe was a 2019 with 60000 plus miles on it. Kinda old as far as what I'm used to driving when I rent vehicles. Other than that it was still a nice ride.
I use enterprise very often but after tonight i don’t think i will ever use them again . I had a family emergency and needed to drive to a couple states over and they refused me a rental which disappointed me because i speak very highly of enterprise
My flight was delayed so no one was at the counter, kiosk wasn't working, nor was anyone in the garage for assistance. I eventually just picked a car and drove to the parking booth. Attendant was very helpful and the rest of the trip was flawless.
Great staff and great vehicle! I was traveling with a group and the vehicle we reserved wasn't available, the staff was very helpful and give us a larger vehicle to accommodate our large group. Special shout out to Alyson to taking care of us!
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to both Danielle and Ryan at the Indianapolis Airport Enterprise. I truly believe that you both were truly blessings from God. Thinking back to that day neither of you had to be as generous as you
Love using this company. First they picked me up and the gentleman was very respectful the whole time. They have wonderful personalities and we able to get me into a car at last minute. I will only trust enterprise with my rental car needs.
Well I know longer trust enterprise I was given a price of about 87 dollars after taxes and when the representative giving me the car had a price of 222 i asked him why it was so high and he said most of that would be refunded. One of two
This was the 2nd or 3rd time that I have rented from Pendleton Pike location and Trey assisted me these last 2 rentals. May I say that his customer service skills are the best! He let me know that he remembered me from my previous rental
Do not rent cars at this enterprise! I rent a lot of cars at other enterprise so I choice it. They likes to charge you twice and it's also happened on my friends. It's not coincidence. When this ridiculous mistake happened, their service
Never been to Indianapolis, first time renting a car in awhile and Eli made it as easy as could be. He actually went above and Beyond and he didn’t have to… but very much grateful he made sure I was satisfied with the car I was choosing
I called at the last minute and asked for a rental, while they had a waiting list at first, they did keep in contact with me to let me know my status and at the end they was able to get me a rental that same day. The process was quick
The staff was helpful and professional. They went beyond to get me what I "wanted" to drive. It didn't matter to me but the fact they did it anyways makes them awesome! I got the Ford Edge. It's always been my favorite. Thanks again!
These employees were absolutely excellent. Besides taking care of everything having to do with the vehicle, they went well above and beyond the call of duty. I returned to Enterprise from the airport because I realized my laptop was
While the level of friendliness differs based on the time of my arrival, service is consistently great and quality of cars rented are always good. Appreciate the high level of professionalism from each staff at this airport location.
Wish I had no star option. Called ahead several days to make sure someone would be there as i had a latefight. No problem we make sure someone stays even if delayed. My flight as delayed. I called for 1/2 hour no answer to let them
After being a long term customer, I was told when changing my reservation they would not honor the same rate. I cancelled my reservation without a care to them. I re booked a nicer luxury care with another car company 70.00 less.
Well we booked VANS IN APRIL AND WERE TOLD TODAY THEY DIDN'T HAVE THEM FOR US! NOW we are stuck shuttling 40 kids at 3:45 am with 2 cars. Please do not use This horrible company to make us be stuck with 40 kids. shame on YOU!
My daughter threw up in the car just as we arrived at returns. The team there was so understanding and asked if she was okay first, not the car. The humanity they showed earned them a customer for life. Thank you!
Worst experience i’ve ever had dealing with this company. The associates were very unpleasant and rude especially Ashley. Must’ve had a stick up their butt. I was so upset I went with a different rental company.
I want to thank Mr Brooks for his patience and understanding from my last rental. It was a difficult situation but in the end we end up laughing about it. Thxxx Sir, you're a gentleman and a scholar. P.Jasmin
Although the counter was busy, I was taken care of in a timely and friendly manner. The car I had reserved was not available, but was moved to the next model up at no extra charge and it performed perfectly.
Received a car so clean it could’ve been new. The retailer was James Pippin and he did an amazing job. Not a a surface was untouched by perfectness. Highly recommend getting the cars from here
