Ordering flowers for delivery or online or from out of state - BEWARE! I ordered flowers from out of state from Flower Express in Madison,TN to be delivered yesterday, Monday Feb 17th for my moms birthday. I ordered online and paid and received an immediate confirmation and receipt for the order. I then received another confirmation yesterday morning, the day the flowers were supposed to be delivered. I found out that the flowers never arrived. I called this morning and received some of the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. I was given numerous excuses saying that their store was too far from the delivery address and they couldn’t find another florist to deliver, that I ordered after one of the biggest holidays for a florist and something about other florist “turning off their wire service” after Valentine’s Day. I asked why I was not notified that they couldn’t deliver them and I was told they left me a message and refunded my money. I explained I never received any message or had any missed calls. I asked to talk to a manager or the owner and was told that “I don’t know what else you want from us - we refunded your money”. When the owner got on, he started in on all of the excuses and said I should understand because I ordered the Monday after a major florist holiday. He said “what else do you want me to do?” When I said, I would like the flowers delivered, he answered “I told you we already refunded your money” and “we aren’t a Walmart, we are just a mom and pop shop and we are doing the best we can”. Not once did either of the individuals apologize but seemed to feel like it was my fault for ordering from their store and ordering after Valentines Day. I told them that maybe they shouldn’t take online orders that assign their store based on then delivery address I put in when I first started the order. Will NEVER try them again. Buyer beware!

Worst Valentines flowers ever !!!!! I have done so much business with this company order hundreds of dollars of flowers never once been disappointed flowers have always been over the top beautiful. Last night was a exception that i will never use them again. I even called and gave them a chance to make it right and that was even me insulting being my son turned around went back to have two flowers after she counted them and a box of chocolates added. We have purchased for numerous funerals even police for locals and i find this just appalling to say the least i have been doing business and thought we had a personal level since they have been doing flowers for my son since he was 16 now 22 and to have his WOW !!!! I will be telling people to NOT do business here !!!! You tell me does this look remotely like what he should have received he had to get a bigger vase go buy more roses and carnations spend another 30.00 to even make this look halfway presentable to her last night . not to mention no bow the colors are not even right i wish i could show you how small the vase was w these flowers crammed in looked like maybe a 20.00 arrangement. I will be posting this all over facebook ..As i did contact the business first to give them the chance to make it right ...

Our uncle died on a Friday. By the time we got ourselves together to order flowers, most florists we'd done business with in the past were closed and the ones we got couldn't guarantee delivery before the first visitation. I found Flower Express online and called them. We ordered a basket of mixed cut flowers and crossed our fingers, hoping it would turn out OK. We were emailed a receipt and then emailed a confirmation when the arrangement was delivered to the funeral home. When we got there for the first hour of visitation, our arrangement was set up right in the place of honor on a big round table across from the casket, I think because it was so beautiful. We couldn't be any more thrilled about how the flowers turned out and about the delivery of the tribute. The young lady we spoke to on the phone got the order perfect and even all the details of the message for our card attached to the flowers. Her name is Shannon. Folks always complain when things don't go well. I wanted to be sure to praise when praise is due!

**Edit/Update** The flower shop sent my girlfriend a new bouquet of flowers on their own to try and make things right with the first delivery mishap. The gesture, to me as a consumer, means a lot and I wanted to update the review and rating to reflect that. My girlfriend is over the moon with the new delivery and at the end of the day her happiness is what was desired here. Thank you Flower Express for taking that extra step to try to right things. **Original Review Summary** - Delivery was very late in the day for an order that was placed 5 days prior online. - Vase was not what was ordered or expected. (via pictures attached) Blue and white is what was ordered; solid blue is what was received. -Styrofoam insert was keeping flowers from receiving water; we had to cut out the insert, reshape and rewater. No plant food with delivery. Flowers were very nice though. -Not the best experience with a flower shop but with the updated edit at the top things feel a bit better and I will use them again in the future.

I placed an order online since I’m out of the country for a Nashville delivery. The website was very easy to use and had a ton of options. Now for the important part. One of the flower in the arrangement wasn’t available I was emailed promptly (after they tried calling my phone that I forgot I suspended) and they had already offered up a substitution that would work well with the arrangement as a solution. Then I found out the day prior that I needed to push back the date of delivery a day, and again courtesy and adaptability. Macy and Morgan were very helpful considering we had to do everything online. The arrangement also looked as good as advertised, once I saw a picture of it after delivery. I definitely appreciate their efforts and will use/recommend them to anyone looking to have flowers delivered around Nashville.

The flowers in the bouquet I had delivered for Valentine’s Day were wilted and falling apart. The accents were missing the majority of the buds so they just looked like a bunch of stems. In summary the quality of the flowers was not what I should have received for the price I paid. I could have gotten a better bouquet at a grocery store for 1/3 the price. Edit: I emailed them about the issue and included pictures. They responded promptly offering to send a new arrangement. I declined and just asked that they look into a quality control process to ensure it does not happen to future customers. I gave another star for the prompt response and eagerness to correct the issue.

I placed an order on 1800flowers via a funeral home link that was fulfilled and delivered by Flower Express. We specifically ordered a large, red flower arrangement as that was the favorite color of the family member. We were extremely disappointed to see what was delivered. It was an all white arrangement with no lilies and only a total of 3 roses that was poorly arranged and small. We noticed all flowers delivered by out-of-state family members were also completely white with gaps in the arrangements. It feels like this florist is running a scam as most people that order do not get to see the product that is delivered.

I ordered a bouquet online for my friend's birthday to be delivered while I was out of town. The ordering process was easy and the delivery occurred without incident. My only issue was the difference in the flowers I ordered and the flowers that were actually delivered. The bouquet or vase that was sent was nothing like the one I ordered. If I'm not mistaken I even checked "no substitutions" when ordering. The bouquet was lacking the fullness shown. It could have been worse but I will not use this company in the future.

I ordered flowers yesterday morning at 11:30am, by the time I arrived at the hospital at 1:45pm they were already there! They were absolutely gorgeous! So pleased! The website had said they couldn’t deliver until tomorrow and I called and ask about same day delivery and the lady was so sweet and delivered quickly that day. The prettiest flowers I have ever ordered! 5 stars plus plus plus!!!!

I would give NEGATIVE stars if possible!!! My Husband purchased a Birthday Bouquet to be delivered to my office as a surprise....but they never arrived. He called every hour to confirm delivery and they said "they're on the way"...but they did not get delivered. Now they're closed for the day. I'm VERY disappointed and we will NEVER use them again...and I will spread the word!

Worked with Katie and she did an awesome job! I called that morning and wanted them delivered to the spouse before EOB the same day. She made it happen within a few hours and with a beautiful arrangement. Their prices were better than anyone I had found in the nearby area online. Will use them again in the future.

They say for your 4th anniversary you get flowers and fruits. I got my husband a small bouquet of earth tones and crimson reds, his favorite colors. I told the lady I was bad at making decisions and she created the cutest little thing for a manly man. He loves it and they are still fresh 2 weeks later!

I am so happy with my arrangement. I stopped by on a whim, as I had been to Walgreens and almost paid twice as much for one third the flowers I got from Flower Express. The clerk was so nice and helpful, she made sure I had exactly what I needed. And it was very inexpensive!
