No means no. On Apr. 18, 2019 I visited Glanbrook Veterinary clinic for the first time. I took my 12 week old Havanese pup in for his 12-week shots. I had been briefed by the breeder on what to give my dog and only wanted the 4 main vaccines: Distemper, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Hepatitis. They insisted I bring in a stool sample and although the pup had been dewormed three times already, I reluctantly agreed to do what I thought was an unnecessary test. No problem, she said. First of all however, she said we needed to clip those nails. No thank you, I said, I do that myself. We’ll just see about that she said and grabbed a paw. After looking, she agreed they did not need clipping. The vet tech left and Dr. Heather came in. I reminded her we only needed the 4 shots. She said some terms I didn’t understand so I clarified my request. Yes, she said. She would give me the four—they all come together. I showed her a piece of paper where I had the names of all four written down, just to be certain. She gave my dog a shot and then asked me to hold his backside while she sprayed something up his nose. We talked about puppy socialization and she told me she owned the puppy daycare across the street and my first visit there was free. How very welcoming. When I went to pay my bill I was asked to have a seat. The tech finally popped her head around the corner holding two items. She began talking about heartworm, fleas… Stop, I said. I just got the four shots, remember? Well, she informed me, too late. He’s already also been given Kennel Cough. WHAT? I didn’t want kennel cough. When did he get that?! In the room with you and the vet, she said. She told me that the vet said it was discussed with me and I was ok with it. No, I was not okay. I told her I NEVER agreed to it. I wanted a minimal amount of drugs and chemicals in my dog. But that choice was taken from me. She had given my dog a vaccine that I did not agree to. It was done and there was nothing I could do to take it back. I wanted to pay and leave but the nurse persisted and pressured me, first holding up one package and then another. She talked at me in an urgent and somewhat judgmental tone about foxes and coyotes and traveling over the border to the United States. None of this was making sense. I had told them EXACTLY what I wanted and didn’t want but somehow my dog had been given a vaccine that I had expressly refused. And now they wouldn’t let me leave and were arguing with me about selling me more stuff. This was not a good start to our new relationship. I asked if I could just pay my bill and go but no. Because I was refusing the add-ons they could not let me pay. They had to “back it out.” The nurse kept at me till I took the flea medication (NexGard Spectra) and I handed them my credit card. I wanted to go but I didn’t want any trouble. I felt like things were going very badly and I was incredibly uncomfortable. I simply turned down the Heartgard but promised to discuss it with my husband. In the end they wrote down my MasterCard number and said they would get an invoice to me another time. I really wanted to leave. I didn’t even know what they were billing me for. I was doing what I thought was best for the dog. They were fine with it all before the visit so why were they pushing so hard now? It felt very, very sales-oriented in the disguise of doing what was best for the pup. What happened to no means no? I will be looking for a new vet. Update: I emailed them twice through their website and asked them to forward my invoice to me but I didn’t hear back. I suppose I could have called but was uncomfortable. Later that same day my Mastercard was billed for $244. The invoice was finally emailed but to another address. I never did get the results for the stool sample. I still have not given the flea meds to my dog.

*** TLDR - Stay away - loyalty and long time customer means nothing. Don't question them and vet is too good to speak to or see you anymore*** UPDATE after new vet appointment - the new vet saw my dog just fine with me in the room and gave him his shots no issue! They didn't insist I drug my dog either. An actual fear free clinic by acts not talk. Glanbrook vet had to send my dog's file to the new clinic and instead of just being professionals they decided to add a catty note about me and my dog to the file. My dog is 9 now and has been going to Glanbrook for years and this is how we get treated after years of paying them and just asking questions. UPDATE 1 DAY LATER So their resolution to this miscommunication was to tell me to find another vet. They didn't invite me to discuss it or explain any further. Also I was told by the Heather via email that my dog (who they muzzled I recall) growled at staff in the past - when they took him away from me into a separate room with strangers! Shocking Noone told me about this at the time only that he gave them a "look" He was muzzled too when they brought him back to me. They are afraid of big dogs I guess?! So buyer beware - if they make a mistake and you stand up for yourself and your pet, they will politely tell you to F off and find a new vet. If you have a big dog , don't even bother. One positive I will say is that my dog had a great vet there for a couple years before all this but she went on mat leave last I heard and don't know her status now. She was awesome and my dog loved her. Think her name was Dr Julie or Julia IIRC. *** Awful My dog has been coming to this vet for years. Made an appointment in the spring for my dogs vaccines today. Last year with COVID protocol I had to wait in my car. My dog is all good when I'm around him for vet visits. He's never been aggressive to a vet in my presence. They said we had to reschedule and give him meds they gave us. Fine. Spring this year we had another appointment and he was poked, prodded etc. No meds was given to him beforehand and no one said anything. Get a reminder email about his appointment this week and a phone call. Noone reminded or told us to take any meds. I came in today and was told they can't see him due to no meds. So someone screws up and I have to reschedule and take another day off work to come back in?! The refused to treat him. He was happy and pleasant while in the clinic as he always is. Unacceptable 0/5 Wouldn't even let me talk to a vet about it. I'm sure someone will respond with some generic excuse about what happened with the new trend of "the customer is always wrong" To top it off, they charged me for the meds too. No "hey here take these meds for us making a mistake and not reminding you to give your dog "we are afraid" meds before he comes". I'm sure they will say it's be his best interest to take the meds. Not even an apology "sorry we forgot to remind you about giving him meds like he did one time in all these years". Also I haven't actually seen Dr Heather McGowan in years either. She must be too good to show her face anymore. I wish every client at my work had to be medicated before I had to deal with them Two thumbs down

I am a 22 plus year customer, so this isn't easy, nor do I take this lightly, but it is definitely well deserved!!! The way I feel right now if I could give a lower rating I would !! Certain things have been on my mind and built up over time, and I guess what I just went through ended up being a tipping point. Before I go into detail and write an essay, I am going to have a cool off period and speak with the owner before I get into any specifics. So just an update, the owner of Glanbrook Veterinary Services sent me an email, she outlined very nicely where I went wrong and has asked me to find a new Veterinary Clinic for my 3 dogs. The reasons given were because I left ths intial review which she said disrespected her business before we had a discussion and that I was rude and inappropriate, but how I was rude or inappropriate was not outlined. The ironic part is that I chose to vent here instead of writing or saying something that I would regret directly to a person. The other irony of this is that I was told late Friday afternoon that I would not be able to speak with the owner until Monday June 13TH, 2022 but miraculously we were asked to find a new vet by 9:30AM Saturday morning. Wow if we could have spoken that quickly what a difference that would have made. In today's culture if you get upset it is seen as rude and inappropriate and you get cancelled as I have just found out. Seeing that Ontario needs thousands of Vet's, throwing our 22 plus years out the door definitely will be harder on our dogs and us than Glanbrook Veterinary Services. 1) Read the HRW Automotive review !! ....

Worst vet clinic. My dog has some strong allergies during summer. Every year she gets apoquel. This year she had a visit for her leg and we were offered more apoquel just in case. We said no thank you we have some at home and left. About 1 or 2 months later I call on a Friday to request a refill and was told that she had to go to an appointment; that the doctor was busy and had to wait until next Tuesday (Monday was holiday). How come you offer the drug one month and then ask for appointment the following month? Just to charge more… but what bothers me the most is the fact that my dog had to go through a long weekend without the drug. My wife had to ask on Facebook for someone to give us one; luckily someone left us 2 pills for the weekend. I ended up leaving the vet and paid another clinic instead. Not a patience here anymore Update: I had to travel abroad with my dog and went to my new vet; oh you could see the difference in how they treat you and help you. How did I got used to that at glanbrook. For the rabies vaccine back in 2021, Glanbrook forgot to add the lot number so it got rejected at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. When called Glanbrook for help getting the lot number they said they would look for it. The Canadian agency called, my new vet called, my wife called and in 36 hours they kept saying they could not find it. We ended up getting her vaccinated again at our new vet. Glanbrook called way after all the paperwork was done so we didn’t even answer. I am now sending my dog to Stone Church Animal Clinic.

I have never been so disappointed in a clinic. I called with an emergency. I explained the situation and brought him for an hour later when they told me to. When we arrived I got told by reception that they never made the appointment with me and that I'd have to wait another hour. One of my dogs body parts was stuck hanging out. I'd have to get all his past information and details in order for them to even help him... I got in the truck and we found an amazing clinic that took him immediately and the second we got there the nurse came out and took our boy and with 15 minutes had him healed. The fact that reception cut me off multiple times while I remained calm was very dissapointing. Pet owners beware. I will never return and I highly suggest finding another practice. UPDATE: it's okay that you think you didn't schedule us. All I can do is tell the truth to other pet owners and know to not bring my dog there again. Maybe get a system that starts recording your calls so when something like this happens again... you can handle it properly. My dog was never seen by this clinic so no you did not triage him and I had only called your clinic so I had only been in contact with one clinic being yours meaning I did not get confused with who I called. When I arrived to the other clinic and shared my experience about you with them they said "they've done things like this in the past and we've heard some bad things about them" so im clearly not the only customer you've let down.

How do I put into words the care, compassion, love and attention you get when you go to glanbrook? From the second you walk in the door you have the best staff in the world, keli and Chris and Alexander and Crystal just to name a few before you get to see the best vets in the world dr Marisa or Heather. Can you really ask for more then a safe place for your fur babies where you know they are safe and loved and you have a vet that gets down on the floor with them and make sure you understand every option and helps you pick the best option for them. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the staff at Glanbrook who never once have made me feel silly for bringing my dogs in for a lump I was scared of that ended up thank goodness being nothing but when it is they take the best care of them for me. They are genuinely driven by making sure these animals are healthy not by a bottom line of what they can make and for that I am forever greatful and have all the trust in the world when it comes to them My dogs last surgery there were some hiccups ( thanks embridge) and I got calls and texts from personal phone numbers keeping me UTD. Any negative review is a miserable person, nobody can walk through those dogs and not feel taken care of and welcomed. I could go on forever. I can’t say enough about how amazing this clinic is!! Truly. As a physician, my number one priority when becoming a dog mom was finding the very best health care for my pets. During the last two years, the team at Glanbrook has taken such great care of my precious pup, Finnley, and today was his little brother Henry’s very first visit! You can really tell that they love their work. They get excited every time we visit and always make sure my pets feel special and safe. They take their time to answer all of my questions and to help make sure my dogs are receiving the very best in preventative health care. Dr. Heather and Dr. Marissa have always made me feel reassured and confident as a new dog mom. Today we met Dr. Julia for the first time who was also just wonderful. (We’re excited to meet Dr. Adriana as well someday.) The client care specialists at Glanbrook are warm and helpful whenever I call and the vet techs and assistants at the clinic are all just amazing. Luckily, Finn and Henry are healthy right now but I know that if we’re ever in trouble I have an amazing team to call on to help care for my sweet boys! The peace of mind that brings is invaluable.

By far the best vet service I’ve ever experienced. They are caring, compassionate and extremely accommodating. Would recommend to everyone. We took our cat here a few years ago and had an amazing experience. The staff were extremely accommodating, caring and went above and beyond. They even came to our house and got our cat from underneath the bed because we could not feed him his antibiotics (he had surgery on his jaw and was in a lot of pain) and took him back to the clinic to care for him for a few more days. We recently took my cat to a different vet near my house because he is 16 and losing weight. They told me he was low in iron but not to do anything about it. After a few months we were still concerned so we took him back to glanbrook. Immediately over the phone they were concerned and got him in as soon as possible. They had us fill out a questionnaire the night before regarding my cats health. At the appointment they found a MASS in his stomach! They immediately told us the possibilities of what it could be and the severity of each. They go out of your way to provide the best service and care for your animal all while keeping you updated on their health.

A little over a month ago, we had to take our Portuguese Podango, Emma, to Glanbrook Veterinary under dire circumstances. Emma was taken in immediately, but unfortunately, the diagnosis was not in her favour. Dr Julia Hill took an enormous amount of time in explaining the test results, and what Emma was going through. In the end, after many tears we decided euthanasia was the only viable option. Dr Hill's compassion and support for all of us was incredible, and helped us through this heart-breaking experience. She gave us all the time and space we needed to stay with Emma until the end. I returned several days later to pick up Emma's ashes, and Dr Hill had taken the time to make a commemorative item for us. The item brought tears to our son, who is still mourning her, just as we all are. To the entire staff of Glanbrook Veterinary, and especially Dr Hill, I wish to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the professional but extremely humane and heartfelt manner in which this entire event was handled.

We have been bringing our dog, Zoe, to Glanbrook for many years now. She is an older girl now (13) with a few underlying health concerns. The girls are always so sweet and tender with her. We always feel confident when we see Dr. Heather. She knows our pup extremely well and doesn't try to suggest treatment that isn't necessary. We also bring our 6 year old cat to Glanbrook. Again, the staff are very gentle with her (much appreciated as she is very skittish and gets quite stressed out when she leaves the house). We don't ever have problems booking appointments, whether for routine checkups or for more urgent matters. We have had many services here, from vaccinations and nail trims, teeth cleanings to ultrasounds, fecal tests to x-rays. We have been satisfied each time. I know the prices here are a little higher than other clinics in the area, but we have been happy to pay them over the years due to the excellent care provided to both of our pets.

I wish I could give more starts! We have been bringing our dog to this clinic for almost her whole life. Unfortunately our dog has a condition for which we must be at the clinic monthly and we are always greeted with smile and a welcoming attitude. Glanbrook Vet Services truly cares about the well being of every animal and you can see it when they come out to the waiting room just to say hello to your furry friend. A question is never silly, a concern is always respected and their service is impecable. Dr. McGowan is a veterinarian that I reccommend to any and all needed a honest, welcoming and safe care for their animal. Truly blessed to have all the people at Glanbrook vet services in our lives and Sophie (the dog) is living proof of that. Without them, Soph wouldn't be the thriving lifeful dog that all who meet adore. We love you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We brought our dear German Shepherd in for spaying on a recommendation of neighbours who had their Dog spayed there. When We dropped our baby off , the staff was very cordial, and took the time to explain the process , what to expect, the time to complete the surgery. As our girl was taken in, we handed them one of Her favorite toys- a pink unicorn. I said "She`s my everything. Can you please tuck this toy under her chin before She wakes up? " We left , and 6 hours later Our Girl was ready to come home. Dr. Heather was completely dedicated and took the time to explain how the surgery went, complications that could arise, what to watch for, and what our girl shouldn`t do. We are 6 weeks past the surgery and you cannot even see a scar. Very professional, comforting , and accomodative. Thank You Glanbrook Veterinary Services for world class services. Peter Desson

Just wanted to give a quick review about this amazing clinic. I’ve been taking my dog and cat here since I’ve had them both and I cannot say enough about the good service and care provided by the clinic. Dr. Heather takes her time to make both my pets and me feel comfortable with any and all treatments/questions or procedures. My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes which meant a lot more visits to their office and a lot more questions on my part. All of the girls at glanbrook (both front desk and behind the scenes) have been amazing, never making me feel bad for asking additional questions and always being super friendly and supportive. Jd is always excited to go and spend the day with them if necessary, and I have peace of mind knowing she’s well taken care of. They treat your pets like their own. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a vet!

We switch vets for our pets based on a recommendation because we were not happy with the vet we were with. Today was our first appointment with Glanbrook, and we were blown away. We didn't feel like we were just there for their profits. You're not just a number there. They record your visit, which we love because we've had issues in the past with another vet saying they didn't give us specific instructions. The impression they left us with is that they all love animals and that having us there was like bringing our dog to visit friends. The vet listened to us, gave us some knowledge on things we didn't know, and gave us a course of action. Our dog loved being there, and that's important to us. I can't recommend them enough, what a great first impression. I've already recommended them to a friend who is picking up her new dog in a few weeks!!!

In August of last year I got a French bulldog named Maddie. This vet clinic was recommended to me by my friend. Maddie has since been several times for vaccinations check ups,etc and we have always had an amazing experience. The staff always pet her and cuddle her. Dr. Heather one of the vets she actually sits on The floor and pets and plays with Maddie. She such an amazing vet and all of her team are so invested in all of their animals that come in- I see and hear it while I am waiting. Some say their prices are higher here. I have taking Maddie to another vet nearby and the prices have been the same and the quality of service was much less and I felt like I was in the waiting room for humans. All I can say is that I want my dog to receive better service than I do at my doctors. And I feel she gets this here. Xox

This clinic is full of extreamly nice people. They fixed my dogs cherry eye and the eye lid looked as though maybe it had let go not sure Dr heather not only looked after him when she was in surgery found he has a small abscess. In my opinion that means it should be my responsibility as it was not there when the eye was fixed originally. Even after I insisted on paying for the surgery they would not have it. Not many places would do that for there clients. Thank you to doctor heatheŕ and staff for going way above and behond and although i think given the situation it should be my responsibility for at the very least that portion of the surgery. I am very appreciative of what they did for us and I highly suggest trying this clinic. Thanks again all of you.

My cat was having some bloating issues and wouldn't stop hiccuping. I was a little paranoid so I took her to the vet. They did the ultrasound and seem to have found some sort of blockage. It looked scary so when they suggested surgery, I agreed. Well turns out when they cut her open there was nothing there. And they couldn't tell me anything conclusive as to what exactly was the thing we saw in the ultrasound or what was causing the bloating and the hiccuping. Basically in the end my cat was operated on for no reason. I admit that I was quite worried at the time because I thought it was something serious but I think they seriously missed the mark on this one. Maybe some more experience would help. Vet and staff were all really nice though.

Susan Lewis and her dog Cole: I have gone to Glanbrook Veterinary Services for many years. They have taken care of my dogs and cats, some from puppies and kittens right up until years later and their final day when everyone has cried right alongside me. They have sat on the floor playing with one of my new puppies and even named one of my kittens. My pets are family and I would not have been going to Glanbrook for these many years if my pets were not treated as such. The people at Glanbrook are extremely knowledgeable, caring, accommodating and compassionate; they offer options and examine the whole picture. They are up to date with the lastest treatments and mediations. They have earned my complete trust and dedication!

we have been going to glanbrook vet since rubie was recued from barks in Louisiana,we also have miya and lil bones.these vets and their supportive staff have been treating our girls as if they were their own!even though I(ron)personally prefer dr.heather,we are very comfortable with all the doctors and staff as they are very caring,knowledgeable and friendly.we are probably over protective pet parents,lol,however no matter the reason for the visit they put you at ease with their caring ways.very highly recommended!would give them 5+ stars in every category,thank you glanbrook vets for your professionalism and knowledge and care,respectfully yours,ron and jenn murza/waters and rubie,miya and lil bones

I want to thank all the staff of Glenbrook veterinary clinic. They have been our vet for our 3 pets for 10 years. We recently had to bring in our sick pug and the diagnosis was dire. He would have to be put down as a human thing to do. It's obviously was a shock to my wife and I as well as the vet. The way that glanbnbrook handled the situation was commendable and so I wanted to thank them. They acted as if it was their own pet that they were putting down and helped making such a terrible day pass as gently as possible. They then sent a donation to the veterinary school in Guelph in behalf of our dog (Zucca). They have always been a loving caring g group of people.. thank you again

I have not one negative thing to say about Glanbrook Veterinary service. The vets and staff are probably the most caring humans I have ever met and the service is nothing less than100 %. I have 2 miniature longhaired dachshunds which one of them just had surgery this week on Monday. Since Monday today being Friday I have had 2 follow up calls to see how she is doing and if any changes have occurred. I have to give a big shout out to Dr. Julia for her above and beyond caring and the action she made happen. Thank you Dr Heather for making the surgery happen sooner than later. What an absolutely amazing clinic ❤

Foxy was well taken care of at Glanbrook. She had a laparoscopic spay done without any complications and quick healing. She also was looked after for an eye injury, which Dr. Heather carefully watched and did ample follow up via email and text. Also, we moved Foxy to the UK and Glanbrook was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure that all of her paperwork was exactly the way it needed to be so that she could clear the rigorous entry requirements into the UK. We're so thankful for their care and help in getting Foxy with us in the UK!

My experience with Glanbrook Veterinary services has been nothing short of fantastic. I deal exclusively with Dr Julia Kim because of her warmth and level of care. She has gone beyond our expectations and earned my trust as a transparent Doctor who I can rely on. I will be using Granbrook Vet Services for as long as She’s there to care! The supporting staff at glanbrook is also top tier. They make us feel as though they care about our little Labrottie, Bea as much as we do. Such great staff!! In April we lost a dear family member. It took about a month for the police to find her. During this time our kitty dislocated his femur, they were unable to relocate it and surgery was required. I needed to be were the search took place so Dr. Heather kept our Tommy while he healed. I will be forever grateful for them eliminated the worry and stress in such a situation. They also just recently saw our two dogs in whom loved their visit!!! Such a wonderful place with such caring loving staff!! We wouldn't go anywhere else

Paid for a pet plan for my husky pup, my dog was given the shots outside of my plan (name brand vs generic) without my knowledge many times and I was required to pay extra for these costs, on-top of that, when I didn't want to spay my dog at 5 months they told me I still had to pay for it as it was part of the plan. Beyond all of that, they don't do payment arrangements for emergency care, and will refuse your animal without question, regardless of severity. If you want to be ripped off, definitely call Glanbrook!

Be very careful of the Wellness Plan and in particular responding to their survey's. I expressed concerns (privately via survey), next thing you know they are calling me angrily, dropping me as a client, and then back charging me for all services to date (the discount as per the plan), including an item they said they gave "complimentary". This is 3 months into a 12 month package which I signed up for and paid in full. When I asked to be partially refunded, they in turn are now trying to charge more.

Great staff. Always friendly and helpful. Saga loves the clinic!!! Thank you Dr. Heather for being an amazing Vet. Thanks to your great sense of responsibility to your staff and clients you have managed to stay open throughout a PANDEMIC!! Good for you for having strict rules and continuing to mandate vaccines and masks for your opening. We appreciate your diligence and love bringing our girl Saga to your clinic. She loves all the staff as do we. Thank you for continuing to keep us all safe.

I brought my dog to this clinic for a second opinion after receiving devastating news from the veterinarian who has been caring for my dogs for years. The doctor was so kind, knowledgeable and supportive. She had concerns about the irregular results from blood work done by my previous vet and found grave errors in their results. She literally saved my dog’s life as I was convinced she was fatally ill. I am so grateful that I listened to family and got a second opinion.

It has taken me a while to find a vet clinic with consistent veterinarians (not someone new everytime), that is still affordable without sacrificing quality care. So far, I'm super pleased with all aspects of Glanbrook. They're pleasant to deal with, answer my questions, and Dr. Heather has been wonderful as we try to get to the bottom of my dog's health issue. I highly recommend (and I'm INCREDIBLY picky about veterinarians due to my previous involvement in rescue).

We moved to Glanbrook Vet about 3 years ago after having some really horrible experiences with other vet clinics in Hamilton. I have no complaints about Glanbrook. They will always try to fit you in, in an emergency. They are patient and kind. Their quality of care goes above and beyond anything else we have seen with our animals and other vet clinics. You can tell that everyone here loves animals. Thank you to all the staff that take care of us and our animals.

I have recently inherited a 4 year old Husky X Shepherd mix named Max who has severe anxiety and has never seen a vet before. Not only did Glanbrook veterinary services get me in the same day I called, they we SO kind and compassionate with Max and Myself. Dr.Julia Kim gave me such good advice and was such a sweet, positive veterinarian who you can tell loves her job. We are so lucky to have Glanbrook Veterinary Services as our trusted vet for our fur baby ❤️

This clinic is in violation of the bill of rights for their clients. It is unacceptable to require a person to show personal health information regarding experimental injections to prove they took part in clinical trials to enter their facility with their pet that requires veterinary assistance. Absolutely shameful. This is unacceptable and a clear violation of human rights. If they are willing to violate human rights I wouldn’t trust them with my pet.

I have been dealing with Glanbrook Vet Services almost a decade. Their staff overlooked my Walker Hound from the time of him being a young dog to a senior with his sudden passing (paralysis) in a caring manner. Dr McGowan or "Dr Heather" has shown herself to be a competent and empathetic DVM along the way. I commend her and her staff for that professional service over those years. Thankyou Glanbrook Veterinary Clinic!

I recently switched over from a different vet in the summer and it's been a refreshing and lovely experience with this veterinary clinic. They are animal focused but also are very human focused which was a big difference from my last vet clinic :). I also appreciate that you collect points with each visit. Lastly, the office is really friendly and responsive to emails and voicemails. I'm very happy that we switched!

The most genuine vet clinic my husband and I have found. They truly care about your pet and want to do what's best for them. We had been to many vets before this one and many are just looking for a paycheck, trying to do exploratory tests all the while your pet is sick or in pain. This clinic took my puppy in, diagnosed him and operated in one day. I'm so grateful for the ladies of Glanbrook Vet!

We took our new puppy Mack in and I was very impressed with Dr Julia Hill and her staff. They were very friendly, professional and helpful. They fully explained everything to me as a new dog owner, and obviously loved animals. Dr Julia even followed up with a personal phone call the next day when she wasn’t in the clinic! I would very highly recommend Glanbroook Vet Services to anyone!

The ladies here are fantastic. I just moved to the city and my dog developed ear hematomas. They got him in right away and explained all services they provided. Thanks so much ! Heather and staff are amazing. You can tell that Heather is in it because of her love of animals where as most vets I've had over the years seemed to be in it for the money only. Affordability without sacrificing service... not easy to find. I'm thrilled that this is our new vet. Just switched to Glanbrook Vet on the high recommendations of our friends and im sad we didn't know about them sooner. Dr Heather is amazing and the entire staff in the office is super helpful and friendly. If you're anywhere in the hamilton area and looking for an amazing vet for your pet, do not go past Glanbrook!

Dr. Heather and Dr. Julia are outstanding veterinarians! We definitely trust them with our 3 year old Husky named Micco who they have been seeing since he was a puppy. Through thick and thin, this clinic has been there for Micco and us. Very responsive clinic. Highly recommend, and absolutely love the care plans!

Luke Skywalker was always greeted with warmth and kindness. This place was recommended to me and it absolutely is worth the drive to Glanbrook. The costs are similar to others but they have always been quite accommodating to my schedule and financial situation. Thank you for everything.

Awesome place. Our puppy "Khouya" goes to them and he's always Super excited to be here. He was initially seen by Dr. Heather but lately he met Dr. Julia. All the docs and techs are super nice. They have a Very good plan for the little ones. Truly blessed to have you guys around.. ❤️❤️

Unfortunately after taking my family pets here for 20 years the service has greatly deteriorated. Rude receptionist an constant staff change overs do not help.edit. big oooff here definitely not same staff as we know 2 vet techs from school that have quit do to owners negligence

They are the best!! Very kind and professional people, and I love how up to date they are with technology. Wish I could have stayed with them but I moved to another city. I found prices to be very reasonable, or generally similar with other vet services around the area.

I absolutely loved my experience here! We have a Presa Canario, who is huge and kinda jumpy! But they took their time and made him feel right at home! They are skilled and very knowledgeable! Took the time to answer all of my questions! Highly recommended them!

Glanbrook has been our family vet for more then 14 years. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a vet. Dr. McGowan has been great. All the staff are friendly and caring. Never an issue in all the years we've been going. Very pleased.

Professional service with caring, skilled staff I. E. Reminder email, reminder call the afternoon a day before the appointment, outdoor service to talk to the humans re: furbaby, soft approach to furbaby.
