"Glenorchy Central Shopping centre is fine, a mainly nice local place to shop"
"So many young kids ride scooters in the centre, they do it really fast and also inside the woolworths which is big threat for older people and to other shoppers, only 2 security guards I have seen there who tried to stop them, did their best but still not enoguh to handle large number of trouble makers"
"Very bad experience especially the cleaning staff in the morning can’t see any cleaner"
"The shopping centre is quite large, with several different retail outlets, including Woolworths, The Reject Shop, Rivers, Guardian Pharmacy, a butcher, a newsagency, Bakery, Miller's plus a couple of fast food outlets where you can dine in or takeaway"
"Anchor tenant is Woolworths but there are many other smaller shops here like a pharmacy, bakery, butchery, clothing store, nail shop n gift shop"
Glenorchy Central Shopping centre is fine, a mainly nice local place to shop. However,it was let down today when I visited Woolworths. The supermarket was fairly busy, but there appeared to be only two full service checkouts open with lines of people with full trolleys waiting. I went to the smaller checkouts where they weren't as busy. The checkout on the left side had a sign saying Express Lane 15 items only, as I had 26 items I knew that lane precluded me. In the lane opposite there was no sign indicating that it was anything other than a normal check out. When I started to place my items on the checkout, the lady staff member said in future this lane is only for 15 items or less. I replied that there was no sign or indication to that effect. She replied that there was and pointed to the sign on the other lane. I informed her that appears to be for that lane, as it was situated in front of that register and only referred to that being an Express Lane,in the singular, nothing indicating it includes both lanes and didn't indicate in the plural, Express Lanes. If I had known I wouldn't have used it. When I pointed this out,the staff member just ignored me and didn't reply to what I said. That's fine, I will get my shopping done across the road at Coles where they have clear and concise signage leaving one in no doubt which lanes are for what. Coles also have more staff manning the full service checkouts. I don't recommend Woolworths for the above reasons.
So many young kids ride scooters in the centre, they do it really fast and also inside the woolworths which is big threat for older people and to other shoppers, only 2 security guards I have seen there who tried to stop them, did their best but still not enoguh to handle large number of trouble makers. Toilets smells really bad. Ample of parking space. Would go to Northgate shopping centre which is far better.
Very bad experience especially the cleaning staff in the morning can’t see any cleaner. Water leaks from the roof and the floor was slippery but no cleaner was there to clean or put the sign. Found the cleaner but he was very rude can’t do anything, the guard was there and he put the wet floor sign. Must need to change the cleaning staff.
The shopping centre is quite large, with several different retail outlets, including Woolworths, The Reject Shop, Rivers, Guardian Pharmacy, a butcher, a newsagency, Bakery, Miller's plus a couple of fast food outlets where you can dine in or takeaway. A good all in one stop shop.
Anchor tenant is Woolworths but there are many other smaller shops here like a pharmacy, bakery, butchery, clothing store, nail shop n gift shop. Central Cafe serves good hot chocolate, different types of coffee, sandwiches, fried fish, etc. Good to sit n chill for a while.
A small shopping centre with Woolworths and other stores. Limited parking and a lot of consumers appears to be from low socio- economic background. Compared to mainland most shops and shopping centres are small, limited variety and close early except Woolworths and Coles.
Easy parking here, free as well! We like coming here as it has our fave Reject Shop for bargains for knick knacks and household needs plus near Big W with Rivets and Miller's where I often pick up online orders. We feel safe here, also near Village cinema and Sawak Cafe.
The convenience shopping centre in Moonah and Glenorchy. You can find Coles, Target, Sushi bar, Vietnamese street food with Pho and Banh Mi as well as nail salon. You can also find alternation store, chemist warehouse and liquor store in the shopping centre.
Good centre with a great mix of businesses. I get my nails done, buy lotto, really good food .... especially the chicken strips..... great butcher, chemist, reject shop, millers and rivers and specialty bread and cakes. Very clean toilets and floors.
I have been coming to Glenorchy Central since 1981 without incident...until now and its only been since a particular business has changed hands. All I did was write an HONEST review...I have been lied about, harassed, bullied, intimidated,
From the carpark to woolworths shopping centre. Woolies is a major food retailer selling to the public at reduced prices. Produce fresh fruit ,veges meat chicken salami fish and everyrhing else you need for the home garden pet food ect
Good customer service from Sam, r goods value for price, if you want to buy something different to some through, that's the place, I'm a non smokers, just saying, laptop professionally repaired at a more than acceptable price.
A good service centre for a lot of people. Especially local to the area. Not my cup of tea. But I do like the Woolworths supermarket. As tje fruit amd veg is a lot fresher than others. I am guessing from the large turn over.
Good little local shopping centre. Groceries. Take sways and eat in. The obligatory chemist, bottle shop etc. No more bogans than what you would expect. Maybe even less than you'd expect. Your bogan mileage may vary
Looking tired and a bit gritty in the shared areas. Newsagent still really good and Miller's and Reject shop well presented with helpful and friendly staff. Chemist busy but helpful and kind staff.
Plaza needs more cleaning staff. Also a downstair information counter. For people who have problems climbing stairs. Some of security staff need a manner course when handling customers inquiries
A great little shopping centre filled with all the essentials and people who are always willing to serve you with a smile. There are toilets and a great array of food options as well
Centre itself is fine, parking is easy and it has a good range of shops however the toilets are outdated and gross, there's been little done to the centre since I was a child
There are some nifty shops here - butcher, reject shop, rivers, etc. The woolworths is moving to northgate, so it will be interesting to see what happens with this place
Went to pizza hut at Glenorchy Centro and was surprised had a prawn and a supreme pizzas both were delicious and made with lovely fresh ingredient very delicious …
You can get most anything from here - atms, clothes and fashion retailers, even a tobacco shop. Good food and cafés. What is really needed is an ironmongers!
This is the local mall, very good by the way. Here there is very cheap food, if you know what I mean! When you're passing through here, it's worth entering.
Not bad! Lots of parking. Variety of outlets in one place from movies, to butcher, clothing alterations, pharmacy, bottle shop, food etc. One stop shop
Plenty of great fights between mothers and people wearing Adidas and Nike. Screaming children on bikes. Would visit again because the food courts nice.
Small Shopping Centre, with woolworths, a chemist, bakery, newsagent, butcher, takeaway's, a bottlo plus others. Village cinema in same car park.
Great roast chicken Chips are delish Much to see. Some many shops to select from Lots of parking Everything you need and more, just steps away
A massive shopping centre. Coles is usually why I go there, however there are heaps of other shops (retailers) there. A great place to shop.
Good selection of stores ,nicely layed out ,close to all amenities and public transport, great shopping experience will be returning regualy
Shopping Centre with friendly group of staff in most establishments. Chicken Hut is hard to walk past and Karl the Butcher is a legend!

Need more sevice lanes. Forced to use self serve as I'd have had to wait near 10mins. To be served WRONG
A good little shopping experience cafe newsagents chemist Miller's clothes shop reject shop woolworths
Not a lot to offer here and the cafe is pretty grimy :( The whole centre could do with an overhaul.
Has most of what's expected of a Central shopping centre. Toilets are clean, which is a big bonus.
It was dusgusting had to wait for ever to get served only 3 checkouts open not going back again
Good selection of shops, you can get a bite to eat, go shopping or just visit the bottleshop.
Good centre! Be aware those bogan teenagers around. You may not be happy to see any of them.
Love all variety of shops , now Connor is there great mens store . Mens barber has opened .
Great place to do general shopping, groceries, clothing, food, chemist, nail salon, etc
Be careful of bag grabbing people hold them tight...... Be aware of your surroundings.
Reasonably priced suburban centre, a little too much lotto and gambling for my liking
