Absolute mastery from top to bottom! Earlier this year, in February, I used Guest Plumbing. My wife and I suddenly noticed a water stain on our ceiling in the kitchen and we’d never seen it before. Naturally, we worried this could be a live leak and it could get worse without appropriate diagnostic and/or preventative measures. We quickly called the Guest Plumbing team and the next day they sent a technician out to have a look. The technician was professional, experienced, and very friendly! Instead of aimlessly breaking into the wall to have a look, the technician made it quite clear that’s the last thing they wanted to do. The technician ran a series of tests and concluded it was an isolated incident due to a really old tap on our upper level. The technician quickly replaced the tap on the spot and we’ve had no issues since which is amazing! We then received our very affordable service bill electronically which enabled us to pay with ease. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Guest Plumbing to anyone and we’d use them again in a heartbeat! Thanks to the whole team! Keep up the great work!

I work for a construction company in Hamilton - we use GUEST for both plumbing and HVAC for the past two years and have nothing but good things to say about them. We have literally spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on plumbing and HVAC projects for renovations, additions, repairs and the service provided has been consistently amazing. In particular working with the project managers Brandon and Tyler to get quotes in a timely manner and working with them to troubleshoot potential issues is amazing. The support staff who handle invoicing and scheduling are amazing - very responsive and patient. Their team members are great in particular Mark from the HVAC team CONSISTANTLY goes above and beyond to identify any issues, troubleshoot ideas, I thank that man enough for the amount of times he's provided excellent service for us and the clients. Overall 10/10 - no complaints or issues with the team and service provided and we have used them on dozens of projects now and look forward to continue our working relationship!

Guest heating and plumbing have been absolutely incredible to work with at our project! They had a big job at our home in removing an old oil furnace and installing a new propane furnace! The crew went above and beyond especially on the last day when the propane tank needed to be installed! We had run into an issue where the trench they had created for the propane had gotten filled accidentally in between their visits!! Andrew and Matteo had to quickly correct the error and re-dig the trench in record time so as to not disrupt the propane installation. This was an error in communication between our various contractors working on the site but the Guest team was incredibly understanding and went above and beyond in correcting on error that was not theirs! As awful as we felt about the whole thing their professionalism, understanding, work ethic and overall calm and collected attitude left a huge impact on us and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

I have only good things to say about Guest Plumbing. After purchasing my first house in April, I reached out to Dan Guest about having some major work done on my house. We relocated and created two separate laundry areas in my home, added additional plumbing in the kitchen and created a brand new bathroom in the basement. Dan was prompt with coming to estimate the work and his company was prompt with getting the job completed with care. Roger was the main technician who worked on my home. He was friendly and reliable. I was able to reach out to him any time I had questions (and I had many!) and answered in a way that it was easy for me to understand. Through Guest Plumbing's connections with EMCO, I was able to pick some beautiful kitchen and bathroom fixtures at a reasonable cost. I would 100% work with Dan Guest and his team again if needed. Our families toilet has been giving us trouble for months.We have had multiple plumbers come in and fail to fix it. BUT ITS ALL BEEN IN VAIN!! typically after they so-called fixed it the toilet would give us problems again. I am extremely happy to see that several weeks after EJ came in and fixed our toilet it has been working better than ever. EJ was able to determine the problem with the toilet. That other plumbers didn’t see. He was able to effectively and efficiently fix our toilet that we’ve struggled with for so long. EJ showed lots of professionalism and had a great positive attitude not to mention a great sense of humour. His performance was top notch and some of the best service I’ve ever had by a plumber.

We had Guest Plumbing and Hvac do a bathroom dig out in our new home, install a tankless water heater, as well as dig out and install a the gas lines for our pool and outdoor fire place and we couldn’t be happier… The professionalism that each employee showed was actually impressive, it’s almost as if these guys are actors in a commercial!!! They were that good! Had the pleasure of working with the owner Dan who did a walk through with me and educated me on what they were doing and explained the process. Brandon took over from there and answered any other questions I had. I’ll never use another plumbing or HVAC company… from customer care to quality work to fair pricing, Guest gets the job done.

We used Guest plumbing for a single family home remodel in Hamilton and we are very happy with their work. This was an old house, which came with all of the complications and delays of an old house remodel. Roger was mainly the head plumber on site. He was easy to communicate with and great to discuss options around unforeseen issues. I also had his direct number so that, after the rough in, I could call him anytime with random questions. He even came for a quick interim visit, before the final install, to connect a toilet and sink. In short: excellent communication, reliable, high quality work for a fair price. Everything we look for in a trade, but not easy to find. We will use them again.

Positive experience all around. Expertise is the name of the game with Mateo. I'm very happy with his knowledge, dedication and cool attitude. He worked diligently and with great efficiency on our water heater which was acting up. It was super frustrating. No matter what, we could only get seven or so minutes of hot water. Mateo was quickly dispatched to us and was able to diagnose and fix the issues super easily, almost instantly. It was like magic. I don't remember exactly what was wrong, but at the time he explained it in a way that was easy to understand and made sense. A top notch experience. Mateo will always be a... Guest... In our house when we have HVAC issues.

I do not normally write reviews on companies but WOW am I ever grateful.. A couple weeks ago a Man named EJ (I believe) installed a toilet in my basement. I had been dealing with this problem with my old toilet since I moved in 20 years ago. This man was very polite, generous and also rather quick might I add. His service was superb, my wife and I have not had any problems since. From what I remember he quite a funny guy as well. I just felt this was necessary, I have never had a toilet installed, I very much appreciate the services of this man and what he had done. I will be continuing using this company with future endeavours.

Called Guest Plumbing to inquire about sump pump replacement. Spoke with Rachel (very pleasant and to the point), got put through to a PM (Brendan, I think). Got an immediate quote for the job, and was scheduled in for 830 the very next day. Roger and another guy (name eludes me) showed up on time despite icy roads. They were in and out in 40 mins. Nice, clean job, and the new Liberty submersible replaced an old pedestal pump, which should do the trick for at least a decade. Fully recommend these guys. Decent price, prompt scheduling, punctual show up and got the job done before my work day even started. Much appreciated!

I had a new tub recently installed and the drain leaked into the basement. And it leaked after two more attempted repairs by the installer. Well, as the saying goes, three strikes and you're out. It was time to call in the pros, so I called Guest Plumbing. Frank and Sasha arrived on time as scheduled. They quickly assessed the disaster under my tub and replaced the waste, overflow and drain pipe. They did a full-tub drain test three times to ensure their fix was good - and no leaks... and they cleaned up nicely before leaving for their next job. Should have called Guest Plumbing the first time around... great job guys.

We had a new on-demand water heater installed replacing a very old rental water tank. We were very pleased how quickly an estimation of the costs, and options were sent to us shortly after Tyler's visit. We had been given a quote from Home Depot 2 years ago, for a tankless water heater with a lower energy star rating and warranty for the same approximate price. From the date of the in-home quote/visit to the completed install was less than a week. Tyler and his team were professional, open and excellent workers. We are enjoying LONG hot showers once again. I called Guest and Dakota came to our condo unit during the terribly busy time between Christmas and the New Year. Mike and Ian showed up on time to install shower fixtures and a toilet in a new basement bathroom. After the installation Mike noticed that the sewer/drain for the toilet and the shower were blocked. They proceeded to clean out the sewer to ensure everything was working perfectly before leaving. Called for a slow drain and a clean out of the pipes. They came in replaced pipes that weren't even in question and charged me 800$ then said I should get them powerwashed to solve the issue. They came in and said they couldn't complete the job but charged me 700$ to "try" then there quote to replace the sewer leading to the house was 5000$ more than anyone else. Highly recommend you stay away from this company unless you just want to give money away for trying and not completing the job.

Called Guest Plumbing r/t a kitchen leak. Matthew, the plumber arrived on time, suggested I might need a new faucet but tightened a couple of things and said to give it a day or two. Turns out he was right and he was back today to install my new one. Excellent service, Matthew is personable, professional and knowledgeable. If ever I need a plumber in future, I'll be asking for him.

We had an unfortunate experience with Guest Plumbing. I brought up my concerns regarding the invoice. I was billed for 24 minutes worth of actual work. I was billed $644.36(tax not included). Apparently it takes two techs to search for a standard 3/4” copper pipe. Brandon was inconsiderate of the amount of time being billed. Super disappointed. Keep in mind when you hire them.

I had to replace a section of my cast iron soil stack. Matt and Danny from Guest plumbing did an excellent job making sure as to not crack my pipe while removing the damaged section . After they finished they made sure the area was cleaned up and they walked me through the work they did. I will definitely use Guest Plumbing for any future plumbing work. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from Justin F. Prompt response and followed through on both appointments right on time with no interruptions to my business. The diagnoses was accurate and they showed me the problems so I could see for myself. I have used the big brand advertiser plumbers and Guest was way more professional and reliable in helping with our sewer problems.

He was super knowledgeable and approachable and he let me hang around while he fixed it so I could ask him any questions about what he was doing. Fantastic plumbing team doing great work.  Brandon asked questions over the phone, established a plan then scheduled a service call to fix my partially clogged drain.  Mike and Jarod arrived as scheduled and had the problem resolved in less than two hours.  All three people were a pleasure to work with.

Guest was a great option for me when my A/C broke down they were here same day and Dakota was very good at what he did explained everything very well and in detail and had my house ice cold in 30 minutes. Definitely recommend guest and can’t thank them and Dakota enough for there great service.

Have nothing but good things to say about Guest and the technicians they sent to my house. Arrived on time, worked diligently, sociable and nice plumbers and the cost was in the budget. Would like to note that Danny and Curtis were the ones I had a good experience with so maybe ask for them.

I had called other similar businesses with a request for a new tank. Guest was the most prompt with response and expertise. We have geothermal HVAC so there was some concern with proper hookup. Within 3 days, I had a new a new water heater. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with.
