Biggest attraction here is the KwikSpar open till late selling the best fries in town with a warm, interactive shopping experience. Postnet at the Hillgate centre opens at 8am which is earlier than most printing shops in the area (9am). Also present are a Renault dealership and a battery shop. Parking lot navigation a bit tricky as the flow is one-way on each lane but the parking traffic controller is helpful. The centre is close to Builders as well as an LPG refill stop.

The whole eastblishment is kind of okay, it's basically a strip mall of Spar owned shops. You can get a hair cut, do a quick shop not a full grocery shop and sort your car battery out all at the same time. Look at the cars at Renault, take a dance class? There's a gun shop at the back. The back end of the centre is a bit scruffy. It's just a basic quick stop vibe at Hillgate.

Always a curious delight in this store. Their specialities are wonderful and youll find exotic foods in most departments. Their bakery and fresh produce are exceptional. Variety is excellent and appropriate, and from basic Homeware to potted shrimps, you'd be able to live well on the goods sold here. The staff are helpful, and the store is always clean and welcoming.

This has a very popular spar that is not only open 24 hours, but also offers a free ice-cream to your little ones and carries a very wide variety of international products. My kids love to go there and it has become a family favorite. It is located in a convenient place with easy quick access. Staff are extremely friendly and food is always very fresh and tasty.

A fantastic little store there is so little to complain about. It has bits and pieces for absolutely everyone. Well priced. Alot of important interesting things at the spar. Highly recommend anyone in the area having a look at the spar. The liquor store is also amazing and have no complaints, it has a very good atmosphere and just a general feel good vibe.

Amazing staff and wide selection of products. Great deals on meat and the only Spar I know that stocks stoneground bread rolls. My only critism is that it always feels super crowded and chaotic when I am there. Having said this, cashiers are enthusiastic and efficient and queues move pretty quick. I can't fault the Spar for being that popular.

Could get lost in this KwikSpar! Be prepared to spend more than you bargained for, because there are so many delicious and delightful food options from an excellent in-house kitchen. Wide variety of baked goods - best bread rolls ever, and a wide supply of international foodstuffs to choose from. The staff are also super friendly and helpful.

I was here to visit the spar and let me just say that it is a beautiful spar. Full of some lovely gifting ideas. The layout is unlike most of the spars I have been to as it is "market like" with a huge variety of nick nacks and interesting gifts. It also has a wonderful vegan/vegetarian section and stunning baked goods section.

Can get lost in this little gem, lots of antiques throughout the shop thats make you dream of times gone by. They are always well stocked on all items and are incorporating new technology that makes shopping a breeze. Ps, if you have small kids let them ring the bell by the Deli counter for a free ice-cream in store.

I have lived in Hillcrest all my life and this family store is well known for their already made food ranging from roast lamb meals to Sushi. Staff are friendly and always helpful. If you are looking for something different for a meal, whether it's international or local cuisine, this is a one stop shop

All basics covered: sufficient parking, smooth elevators and escalators, lighting maintained and all shops occupied. The Checkers has a great deli, the clothing and accessory stores are well stocked and the restaurants at the top floor are of a great variety for all tastes.

Love, love this spar. I find all the healthy range in such abundance of choice. Sugar free, gluten free and dairy free range. Unheard of at stores. I have no need to shop online at one brand as a result of this spar stocking varieties. Best spar in South Africa

It has a reasonably good selection of shops which makes it an easy one stop shopping trip. The two anchor tenants, Checkers and Woolworths could be a little bit larger and stock a wider range and more stock of each item, but there is nothing to complain about.

Convenient shopping centre with a Spar Retail Store that operates 24 hours when there are no curfews. There is enough parking for all types of drivers including the elderly, mothers with babies, wheel chairs, etc. The Spar is geared towards online shopping.

The Kwik Spar has excellent take-away special especially on Thursday when it is fish and chips and Sundays they are delicious roast. Lamb on the spit and vegetables. Service is good and very friendly. Certainly get value for your money.

Kwikspar has fantastic fresh breads, their Baker is awesome! Good quality and great specials on certain meats. You can find all sorts of goodies, foodstuffs etc that you cant find anywhere else so I luv this shop! Staff very nice!

My favourite one-stop shop. They carry such an interesting and diverse range of everything. Their freshly-prepared lunches and evening roasts are the best. Yes, it is a bit of a squeeze when in there, but well worth every minute.

All the shops are easy to find and they are friendly. We went into cosmetic, let us look around and answered the questions. Pep and Woolworths. Friendly Parking was a bit tight and got lost trying to get out of the lot.

This little mall hosts a kwikspar which is open until midnight. The Spar is amazing, has so many products to offer. It also hosts the vegan chef. A variety of new products to try and it's a pleasure shopping here.

Doesn't sell unsliced bread except for the fancy breads. I find this shop cramped around the entrance and prices are high in comparison to other supermarkets in the area.

Great Spar with lots of niche imported stuff and nice bakery. Tops has an awesome selection of craft beer. Robots can be a bit annoying getting in and out.
