Furniture was fine. Service was indifferent and rude. I ordered 2 bedside tables on the Saturday and was advised I could pick them up the following Saturday. I didn’t receive any notification they had arrived but we went into the store to pick them up the following Saturday. They told us the warehouse in Melbourne sent the wrong ones and they would be in next weekend - no apology! I had to ring twice on the Friday as no one let me know they had arrived. We went back in last Saturday to pick them up, he put them on a trolley and said ‘bring it back when you’re finished putting them in the car’! When we got them home one of the bedside tables was missing the screws to attach the legs. I rang to chase them up. He asked which bedside tables they were. I said I didn’t know as there was no description on the receipt they printed but we were just in the store half an hour ago. He rudely commented ‘there have been 2 couples in this morning I have no idea which one’. After having to look my number up he said he didn’t realise the bedside tables needed screws. He rang back and let me know he had acquired some screws.! I drove back in to get them to find the screws provided in a red bag had been ripped so must have been ripped off the box when putting onto the trolley. The bedside tables are nice but I wouldn’t go back because of the rude service!

I would make this review zero is google allowed. The worst experience from a retailer. They'll take you money, wont communicate with you and deliver a sofa that's damaged. Strongly recommend you avoid buying from this business. Their delivery team is rude and don't provide appropriate warning. In an industry is based on customer service they fail miserably Also note, if you have an issue the Franchise Owner does not care in the slightest. They just want your money and even at a discounted price its not worth it. Finally you can't respond to their comments on your review, so looks like they care but they don't

DO NOT BUY the Como Lounge. This lounge is cheaply made shoddy and extremely uncomfortable. On delivery the zipper broke on 3 of the cushion covers (they did replace them). The lounge I received is nothing like the one I tried in the store. It’s hard and has a rounded hump on the seat so you continually slide off. Non of the cushions are feather as those on the store. It’s all false. If you check Facebook marketplace you can find plenty of the Como lounges up for resale, One of which is mine. Save yourself the disappointment.

We ordered an electric recliner with James Lane fortitude valley and we're really surprised and happy with the customer service. Our recliner had an issue with a part of the structure after a few years of use. We reached out, not knowing the warranty period of the recliner, and we're surprised that even though it was out of warranty JL replaced the unit for us with a new one. Thanks guys, we really appreciate your service and will come back when we go furniture shopping again.

We ordered a table on August 28 and it has not been delivered yet. I have been calling and kept getting delays on my order for no reason until now when they tell me it'll get delivered on December 2. 13 weeks waiting for a table to be delivered is just poor form and horrible customer service. If I knew this company was going to be like this, I would have never purchase anything from them. Very disappointed with James Lane service.

Rather indifferent service left a weird first impression. The delivery system is rather rigid and makes it difficult or even intimidating to reschedule with threats of extra charges, which considering our significant purchase value, made for a sour experience overall. I hope the product quality impresses for the years to come, else an even lower rating would be justified.

Store is lovely, staff in store are helpful, but dealing with their customer service regarding delivery is dreadful. I am happy with the quality of the bedside tables but not the lounge. I just called to TRY to enquire about my delivery and was put through to the wrong extension. That person - hung up on me rather than transfer me back to customer service. I was stunned.

A fantastic in-store experience. The staff (Mark) was super-helpful. The products were great. Lots of options available. A tiny price discrepancy post-purchase was sorted immediately by phone and followed up by accounts staff the very next day. As a Designer I deal with furniture/homewares stores a lot, and can't recommend this store more highly :)

They have a pretty good collection of furniture and homewares. The staff Brad was exceptionally good. He made sure we got the best deal and was very patient. We took a long time to select the things we wanted to purchase and he patiently waited even beyond the store closing time without rushing us to make a choice. Will definitely visit again.

Jenni is fantastic. She really took the time with me and my partner to figure out what we liked. Compared to the other stores who wouldn’t look at us twice because of our look. So thank you so much for employing someone who doesn’t judge by looks who is warn friendly and kind hearted. Will be back to give her our sale.

I would give less stars if I could. When they sold me the furniture they said 6 were in stock and could be delivered today. They have now advised its not available for another month. How does that happen? They are keeping my money until it arrives of course! Disreputable conduct - I’d advise to shop elsewhere

I purchased a awesome sofa last week from this store, sold to me by a really nice gentleman, but when I recieved the sofa from the warehouse the right arm rest was ripped from the stiching and damage underneath. I know this is not in anyway the stores fault, maybe care should be taken more in our warehouses.

Contemporary furniture and interior design store. A good range of modern pieces with smart clean lines and quality fabrics. Another good option to check out if you like shopping @ Freedom or Nick Scali. Handy car parking in the basement. Lots of great shops in this small boutique Home Maker mall.

Terrible service, table was meant to be in stock and shipped within a week - took 4 weeks. When it arrived it arrived without anything to build it and then when it was reported told it would take a week or two for spare components to arrive. Don't do it to yourself.

Received damaged couch. Took them a month to take action. They offered money to fix but it was well below what it would cost me to fix it myself. I asked them to fix it and advised it needed to be outside working hours. They still sent someone during work hours.
