The service here is ... incredibly great. I had all of my concerns for my broken watch handled appropriately and very quickly. Sean and Debbie are friendly easy to deal with and have a great sense of humor and they look for solutions and find them. One thing that I noticed about some people in the jewelry business is they tend to overcharge or flat out lie about costs and this is why I didn't get my watch fixed in Calgary I was given very different pricing from three different jewelry and repair vendors and they all were playing games with me. My troubles ended when I came to Jewels De Oro on the second floor of the mall in City Centre in Edmonton! Here I was taken care of very well the price was a no nonsense price that was reasonable and also I'm very thankful they really went all the way and meticulously went over every detail of what went wrong with my watch along with explaining things in great detail so I could be educated on something I don't know much about. They also fixed it extremely quickly without giving me a run around. These are open and honest people and for that they get 6 stars out of 5. I can only put 5 here but if I could put 6 I would. They also have a great selection of chains bracelets rings necklaces and pendants no matter what you believe in they owners husband and wife team Sean and Debbie and the jewels exude very good positive energy and if you take your concern here. they will take care of it and the outcome will be outstanding. thank you Jewels De Oro! Please don't go out of business ever I will be seeing you in the future!

My wife and I were looking for wedding bands and we looked at a couple of places but we weren't happy with what we saw. We decided to try Jewels De Oro based on the reviews we read on google reviews and we were extremely happy after our experience with Shalen, Dipti and Jackie. All of them were extremely caring, helpful and radiate a true sense of warmth and genuine interest to getting what you are looking for. Its not common to find genuine people but I can say if you are looking for any jewelry, you will love the personal touch that Shalen, Dipti and Jackie provide for their customers. We liked them so much, we decided to keep in touch. They are not pushy but instead very helpful to finding a perfect match to whatever it is you are looking for. I wish I could give a better review, as the sales associate who helped me was a TOTAL sweetheart and went above & beyond for me, but the experience after the fact, not good........ I placed a special order for an item for a Christmas gift and was guaranteed a refund by the sales associate for the items if the person was not pleased. (Which makes sense as things are never what they seem in a catalog.) - The person has since found something that is more of their taste, and when I contacted the store, I was then told that I couldn't do any returns or exchanges as it was a special order (and another item purchased IN STORE)....... Although i was guaranteed........? I am now out $100 (maybe more) 3 weeks before Christmas because I was promised a refund, and then I was lied too. You, as the owners, should really be ashamed of yourselves for running a business like that.

I went to a few jewlers trying to get a new battery for my Timex Ironman watch. Apparently it's very complicated to take it apart as well as set it up after the watch battery is replaced according to the places I had visited. At one stop this couple was recommended. What a pleasant visit. Not only did they indeed replace the battery and set the watch back up, but it was done in a very quick, effecient, smiling, professional manner. Just last week I needed another battery and I didn't even hesitate to come back to them. It is such a pleasure to actually get the customer service along with the knowledge and expertise they provide which is what we expect, but so often seems to no longer be available today. I highly recommend them for your next destination visit and the pricing I felt was extremely fair for what was done for me! A job well done!

I'm not somebody who wears jewelry very often, but wore jewelry that was purchased from Jewels De Oro for my graduation. The proprietors were extremely kind and helpful when I arrived even though they were just about to close up, and wholeheartedly dedicated their time and energy in helping me select the perfect jewelry set for the day. They were extremely patient as I went back and forth between several options and gave me very useful advice when it came to selecting the design. And since then, I find that I keep going back to wearing that particular set! I receive numerous compliments every time I wear it! Despite how much I've worn it in the last couple of weeks (which is almost every day), there are no signs of wear and tear or damage. I am very happy with the jewelry and will definitely be going back for more!

We have been going to them for a little over 2 years now. I like to surprise my mom during her birthday with something cool. They are very friendly and it feels like they know you better than you do when it comes to your taste in jewelry. I recently got a cross necklace off of them and I totally misjudged the size. It's perfect for adding the tiny bit of shiny to an otherwise normal work wardrobe. My mom loves the earrings, chain, and ring we've gotten off of them so far. I brought IN 2 fairly expensive watches in for a battery replacement. One day after picking them up, my most expensive water resistant watch had a ton of condensation inside after a shower. Upon checking it, I found 1 backing screw had been stripped, and the back plate bent up and rotated in order to facilitate replacement. Instead of leaving it alone, whoever did the job, carried on, and then didn't inform me. I have since removed the screws myself, and will try to find a replacement for the stripped screw somewhere else, and try straighten the back plate :( Note: these watches had never been opened since being assembled by the factory. VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Came here after work to find a chain for my boyfriend as a present . Everyone was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to find something in my price range! They were even willing to accommodate a price for something I could not afford knowing I was in love with it! I came back the next day to get something of my own! I was looking for small earrings similar to the ones my mother had gifted me years back which I lost. I had sent dipti the pictures of the earring and she quickly showed me options. I was also looking for a ring for my husband for a long time. Again dipti and shone to my rescue. I let them know our preferences and they showed me various options. We had a quick video call and they showed me the rings and helped me select. Both shone and dipti are reliable, have ample knowledge of the trade and gave good advice in regards to the jewellery. Omg, Shailen & Dipti Shah are wonderful as I needed my favourite ring soldered but their was a 50/50 chance my stone would crack from the heat!! It was my worst experience with buying jewelry. The quality of the necklace was so bad. They didn’t even cleaned it and it needed a better polish and quality. They sold a very small piece for $150 and when I called them back regarding it, the guy had the worst response I have ever had. They don’t even do a refund and they said you can do whatever you want to do. They have the worst customer service and the worst quality. I will never buy anything from them again and don’t suggest anyone to buy anything from them.

This store is fantastic! The owners are amazing, in particular the female owner (I wish I could remember her name!) What's impressive is I passed by a few days later and she remembered mine! I was doing a favor to my sister since she needs her watch to be repaired so I went here since my coworker told me that this place was good. Their service was surprisingly fast and I got the repaired watch of my sister quick. I only waited for a few minutes and I even had a nice chat with their staff I forgot to ask his name. To be honest, I haven't done business with Jewels De Oro. BUT I pass by them every once in a while during lunch and sometimes get the joy of talking to their staff. They're nice and friendly. Very family oriented. Once in a while, they have some cool looking wares. But I'm not a huge jewelry guy so I can't say much else. Looks unique and the quality seems fair.

I had my watch battery replaced. The are very friendly and my watch is working perfectly again. They also do repairs and I plan on bringing another watch to have it fixed. This is a great shop!
