I usually use the same florist in Burlington but thought I would try a different place. I ordered the flowers for my mother as an early Mother's Day gift on the 6th. She took a picture for me but they did not look that fresh. My mom kept talking about the Vase and sort of steered off the flowers. I think she was trying not to hurt my feelings. She took a close up of probably the healthiest area. She usually taked a pic of the whole bouquet. I also asked for mauves and purples and violets with cream or white and the picture was mainly of Pinks. I called my mom a few days later to see how she was doing and she said oh I'm just putting the flowers back to the Earth and then she paused forgetting that she was talking to me, and said oh they really were beautiful and tried to steer off the subject. Almost like it was her fault that the flowers only lasted three or four days. When it was not. I spent over $100 and I have never in my life had an arrangement last three or four days. I'm very disappointed because the customer service was originally great, they delivered for me right away, but all of this is moot unless the flowers I ordered were the one's she received, and we're fresh. I have to say, I'm really disappointed.

Marianna’s Flower Island made BEAUTIFUL arrangements for my wedding. Lori was extremely helpful and knowledgeable to create my bouquets, boutonnières and arrangements solely based on my Pinterest vision. Even through the pandemic and change of wedding date, they were lovely to work with and I didn’t have to worry about our flowers. We had to postpone our big day from May 2020 to December 2020. Lori helped me update our picks to incorporate some winter flair (pine cones). On the day, they were delivered with care to my parents house and the arrangements to the venue and OMG the flowers were absolutely stunning! My bouquet was MASSIVE. Bigger than expected but gorgeous! They also added a blue star sapphire ring (something blue) my dad had given my mom when they were first dating as well as a locket my mom gave me with pictures of both my grandmas pictures in from my parents’ wedding to the ribbon binding the bouquet together. I would definitely recommend Marianna’s to any bride.

I have been using Marianna's for years and have never had a complaint about their floral arrangements, be it funeral, gifts etc. I have found the staff to be exceptional, (and Rita) and have gone out of their way to assist me in my requests. I use Marianna's for all of my Floral needs and would rate them 5/5. The only downside for me is, I often have my orders delivered and most of them are NOT in Burlington but in Hamilton etc. On some occasions I may send four or five items to the same address but their delivery service will charge full costs for each and every item. I know that is not the fault of Marianna's but their delivery service.On several of these occasions, one of the staff, Laura, has insisted in delivering them at no cost to me as she says she has to go that way and it would be her pleasure to do so. Now with service like that, why would I shop elsewhere!!

July 30th/2020 - I ordered an arrangement of flowers for my mother and this time I chose the 'Florist Choice Daily Deal'. My mother was over the moon happy with the arrangement which was creatively put together by Rita. Thank you once again. As many of us now order things online and hope for the best. I have been to Marianna's store in the strip mall in Burlington and ordered online from them over the years and have been pleased. However my latest online order encountered a glitch which meant the flowers would arrive later than I had expected or wanted for a birthday gift. Timing was important. Rita was all over it immediately. I received a phone call and an email from her explaining the situation. I couldn't ask for better service. Trust Marianna's Flower Island to do the right thing. And yes the flowers were delivered.

Marianna's Flower Island provided me with exceptional service for my last minute outdoor elopement in February. Not only did I call to place the order fairly last minute for a couple very large arrangements, but without realizing it, it was also Valentines Day, one of their busiest days of the year! The shop greeted me with such positive energy and excitement, and went out of their way to customize an amazing bouquet to match with the two gorgeous arrangements and theme of the elopement. They were very helpful and provided assistance in placing the flowers in the vehicle for a long trip. I was beyond grateful for the experience I had with the florist, such a genuine excitement for me and clear passion in what she does. It made my special day even that much more special! I can’t thank them enough!

From the very friendly phone greeting right through to the excellent delivery, you will be so pleased! You can tell that they want to go above and beyond in reassuring you that they’ve got you covered! They sent me an email confirming the order and I noticed an error in the recipient’s name. I called back and spoke to Cat. She called the delivery person to have them bring it back so she could change the card. She then told me she would personally deliver it and text me when she was done! Who can ask for anything more?! This is the best and most pleasant customer service I’ve ever experienced! Also I ordered from them because I had just received flowers from there and they were spectacular! I highly recommend Marianna’s Flower Island!

Very disappointed with both the service and flower arrangement. We were unfortunately mislead by reviews. ** Our reply to your response: Yes, it is now quite obvious to us (as you have pointed out) that your photos online are photo-shopped. We would like to be clear that a second arrangement sent AFTER mother's day would have not been appropriate, for the obvious reason. Please note that it was not all about the pot being cheap and nothing like the photo online in appearance or by its description. It was also that the flowers were of poor quality, sparse and died within a couple of days after being delivered. Hence, this review. Seriously, there is no coming back!

Burlington Florist is my new fav... Google mapped local florists and Marianna's Flower Island came up... Fantastic website..It was so easy to order exactly what I was looking for.. Rita was very helpful with my follow up questions.. My wife (also named Rita) received her flowers right on schedule and was extremely satisfied. The arrangement of red roses is beautiful and I couldn't be any happier.. Marianna's prices were better than the local competition and the quality was great.. I ordered flowers today for my best friends birthday to lift her spirits during this difficult time of isolation. I chose Marianna's because I just loved the "Perfectly Pleasant" bouquet on their website. Even paid the additional delivery tip because I appreciate that they are able to do so right now (which I was taxed on???) I just received a picture of them and they were nothing like shown on the website. I am very disappointed. For the $80+ dollars paid, all-in, they look like grocery store flowers in a vase. I'm sorry, but it's true.

I was looking for a place that would send nice flowers the same afternoon. I called here and the lady who answered asked what do you want the card to say or the occasion. I said I need for it to say Sorry. She said, oh oh on a scale from 1 to 10, how much trouble are you in? Lmao I said probably a 9 1/2. Anyways she (I wish I asked for her name) made it a great experience, made and sent beautiful flowers all with hours. I will definitely only have them as my go to place to send flowers. They deserve every bit of the 5 star rating!

Excellent customer service. The salesperson on the phone was so nice and really accommodating. She helped me select a beautiful arrangement/plant and kept it in my price range. The prices were very reasonable. She sent me a photo of the arrangement before it was sent so I could approve it. It's challenging to find a real local florist when you're calling from another town since many are not local florists but big chains from the U.S. Support your local businesses. I would highly recommend this establishment.

This is a place to get arrangements from. Placing my order was easy and very thorough. The customer service was excellent. The arrangement was beautiful. A bit of detail was lost however. There was a specific request for colours to be used and that was not satisfied. The receiver of the arrangement was none the wiser but I was surprised to see three colours verses two as the order stated. I will still order from here again don't get me wrong. The flowers are very fresh and reasonably priced.

Horrible! The flowers were half dead on arrival and there were many bugs within the arrangement. The flowers were delivered to the wrong address and abandoned on the front desk without giving it to reception/concierge. The surprise was ruined for the recipient who had to retrieve the flowers from the incorrect address a day after the scheduled delivery date. Spend your money elsewhere. Grocery stores offer better arrangements than this place.

My children ordered me an arrangement that arrived 6hours late and was not exactly what was ordered. I light of this delay in delivery the arrangement was left outside for a further 7 hours before we got it. In light of the weather the arrangement was almost frozen when we arrived and flowers already started to wilt. I called the store twice and I’m on day 4 of still waiting for a response. Not impressed

Recently received a condolence arrangement from close friends, the next day some of the flowers were not their best, called and they delivered a beautiful replacement one which still looks beautiful over a week later. This shop is so caring and attentive, I would definately order from them next time I need something special. They also brought a sweet birthday arrangement as a surprise. So thoughtful.

I have no idea about flower arrangements or anything like that and I wanted to send some flowers to thank my girlfriend's mom. I called Marianna's Flower Island and spoke to Rita. I told her my price range and said I had no clue what kind of flowers would be good. Rita was so kind and courteous and just said "no problem." The flowers were promptly delivered and looked wonderful!

Lori did all the flowers for our wedding - bouquets, corsages, centerpieces etc. They all turned out beautifully! Even better than we could have hoped for. Our guests are still talking about how lovely the arrangements were and how nicely they worked in the space. We really appreciate all of the extra efforts and attention to detail that she put into making our day so special.

Both times I have used Marianna’s Flowers I have been extremely pleased. I called the shop directly, though 3 provinces away. I was able to know just what would be sent. I loved the tracking, keeping me informed from the processing to leaving the shop to being delivered to the door. It’s hard to find this kind of service. Am very happy and will call them again.

The flowers delivered on my behalf were not what I had expected. When I raised my concerns, Rita quickly offered to replace the bouquet as soon as the flowers I had originally wanted were available.
