I commend the doctors and nurses for their excellent care, However I must express my concerns about the understaffing issue and the resulting long wait times. The medical staff demonstrated competence and compassion, but the facility's insufficient staff led to prolonged waiting periods leaving me comparing it unfavorably to even third world countries' medical facilities. Addressing the understaffing issue is crucial to meet basic healthcare standards and ensure that Melton health can provide efficient and effective care that aligns with global standards. The extended waiting time not only tested the patience of patients but also created unnecessary discomfort and anxiety, which can be particularly challenging for individuals in need of urgent medical attention. It is disheartening to compare the facility's performance to even third world countries, where medical facilities manage to provide better services despite limited resources
Melton Health you are an absolute joke. Holding a referral for over two months for maternity services because you can’t find a BMI, despite being sent documentation multiple times and quite a number of phone calls to follow up? Every time I have had to follow up I have a different story. Your intake team is shocking and need a lesson in dealing with conflict resolution. I asked to speak to someone to make a complaint and they refer you to a website they does not allow you to put in a complaint to the right department. Very insensitive in dealing with patients that have dealt with pregnancy and infant loss. DO BETTER!
I am very concerned about Management and staff feedback system. Email will not do the job. They need to be educated. Very racist- bigoted- prejudiced- uneducated Mangment and staff ( not all) the phone operator are very rude. The receptions are so prejudiced - impolite to all. Some of medical staff - the same includes Doctors and Nurses. The level of IQ is very low. Not sure if they are being audited like Baccus marsh hospital. Stay away from western health in Melton. You will not survive an emergency in Melton
God help the elderly people if they don't have a credit card . You will be billed, but as the receptionist stated, not her problem as she is just doing her job. As far as the young physiotherapist, he was absolutely respectful towards the elderly. Pity that he is not the receptionist, the young girl could get some pointers.
Thank you for the superb care from the staff at Melton Health urgent care. My very unwell young adult daughter presented quite unwell. She was treated efficiently, everything was explained, she was made to feel as comfortable as possible and the staff were attentive and caring.
On Monday, the Public Holiday, I was with a friend who was unwell and needed help. The staff were so courteous, helpfull and professional. We had quite a wait but they could only see one person at a time.
We went there this morning, as my partner had worrying symptoms. The three nurses and doctor treated him with courtesy, patience and respect. The examination was comprehensive, and wait time was short.
Don't come here honestly just don't waste your time. Hospitals run faster then this place and they don't care about your pain level it's tough luck we have been waiting for over 4 hours.
Took my son Saturday & they were lovely & helpful. and was pleasantly suprised we didn't wait too long considering how short staffed medical establishments are these days. Thank you.
What are they training these nurses/doctors these days? So unfriendly and rude towards patients, so much for being helpful. Don't waste your time
