I was referred to this place by a friend after moving interstate and needed a dentist to look after my teeth. Mike greeted me with a friendly smile (behind his mask), and it put me at ease straight away. After I filled out the new patient form, Mike and I had a nice chat whilst I waited for my appointment. He also mentioned that they use the latest technology, and it was not as scary as the usual method other dentist uses. Jee and Dr. Kong was super friendly and explained the whole process, and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. Their professionalism and easygoing nature made it an enjoying experience (which is rather usual when one visits a dentist). I was there for a check-up and a routine hygiene clean. From the moment I entered until I left, the team was super friendly and welcoming. The place is clean and bright. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a new dentist.

I recently switched to a new dentist and I have to say, I am blown away by the quality of care I have received. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly staff. The office is modern and clean, with state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. Kong, my new dentist, is simply fantastic. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and explains everything in detail. He is knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I never feel rushed or like I'm just another patient. My appointments are always on time and the procedures are pain-free. Honestly one of the best dental experiences I’ve had my whole life. The senior hygienist went above & beyond for my annual clean & check up. Then I had a further appointment for two fillings. Both dentist Dr Tina Le and her assistant couldn’t have done more to tend to my comfort, constantly checking in, reassuring and encouraging me. They also informed me every step of the way of every procedure there were performing for me. The front desk staff are also incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. I’m totally hooked and will never go anywhere else now that I’ve experienced this level of dentistry service. After years not seeing a dentist due to costs, I needed a clean and my wisdom teeth looked at. Dr Kong was thorough and efficient in providing me with a range of options to suit my needs and helped me to assess what would benefit my current situation best. As a massive needle phobic the team jumped right in not letting my nerves get the best of me, and were reassuring and communicative throughout the process. Lyn and the rest of the team have consistently welcomed me with enthusiasm and care, always making sure I was set up for the best care possible. A lovely, clean, and professional space that is comfortable and welcoming, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough

Hands down the BEST scale and clean I’ve experienced in my life (I’m 40 and have had quite a few!). One whole hour was allocated for the thorough clean, state of the art equipment was used and every step along the way was explained clearly - what was being done, why it was necessary and how it would be carried out. My favourite part was when this purple dye was applied to show old plaque vs new plaque to guide the cleaning process. There’s a real sense of patient involvement, you’re not just sitting there being poked and prodded at. Tina and the team are wonderful, the level of genuine patient care and attention to detail is outstanding.

We took our 5 to daughter in for her check up and we had such a positive experience that when her next check up was due, she literally asked us “HOW MANY SLEEPS UNTIL WE GO TO THE DENTIST?” . Tina was amazing, even taking the time to respectfully explain to our 5 yo which instruments she was about to use, why it was important before testing out the pressure on our daughter’s hand to reassure her that it would be gentle. When I had my check up and clean with Melissa I was very impressed. It was the most thorough clean I’d had in my life and the most gentle as well. The staff are incredibly caring and very supportive of anxious patients, such as my 7 year old son who enjoyed every minute of the attention he received there! The facilities are outstanding! There was a huge ceiling mounted TV for my son to watch Netflix while he received treatment- such a great idea! Melissa also showed me on screen what his teeth looked like through an intraoral camera- amazing! I recently have changed dentist to Mike and his My Dentist team at Blackwood, following moving into the area. Their customer service, all new fitout and equipment, and professionalism has been fantastic! Mel & Helga were so thoughtful and supportive, after I hadn’t been to the dentist for a while, and explained things very clearly at each step. They have changed what was once a historically stressful experience (elsewhere), to now an almost stress-free one - which will mean regular easy check ups going forward, versus more thorough work. More than happy to highly recommend them - the best dentist I’ve ever been to.

I HATE going to the dentist. I get so anxious. My sister has been going to Dr Tina for a while now and is always saying how amazing she is. I thought I’d finally follow her recommendation and I’m so glad I did. The receptionist was brilliant when I phoned- she really new her stuff. Dr Tina was amazing - she completely put me at ease. Myself and my children were customers of My Dentist Blackwood recently. The service was amazing. Highly recommend this dental practice. They are very thorough in their investigation and record keeping and discuss everything with you. All staff I’ve come in contact with from reception, dental nurse, dental hygienist and of course the dentist are very professional, friendly, compassionate and caring. I’ve had to make an emergency visit with a tooth ache and they have quickly accommodated me. Visiting the dentist is never pleasant but I’ve always felt they really care about me when I go to this practice.

My Dentist Blackwood is the best dentist I've been to ever! I've had both Tina and Melissa and they're always so friendly, gentle and always explain what they are doing and why which I find both interesting and transparent. I have to confess, after years of being scared to see the dentist, I actually looking forward to my visits to My Dentist! Tina is such a lovely, gentle dentist and today I had a clean with Melissa (also lovely and gentle). I was sitting in the chair with my arms tense waiting for the pain (sensative teeth)....but there was NO pain at all! This was the best clean I have ever had with ZERO pain . Both were incredible, patient, and everything was so well explained. This dental practice is very clean and modern. The dental hygienist was very informative and professional, and the new machine they have is a vast improvement over the older scatching-nails-on-chalkboard cleaning method used at my old dentist.
