Horrible communication skills. They did not get a fingerprint for my sons from their dad prior to his cremation and after I told them the lady rudely said well you can get a refund. They would not allow my sons to hold their dad's hand. They wouldn't even let them see him without paying them more money first which was never in the contract. After what seemed like forever and numerous calls over a full week I was finally told he was already shipped as we live out of state but they never called line they said when he was shipped because he arrived tgat day. To make up for it they said to pick 2 necklaces and here we are 2 weeks letter with no tracking on those and the owner continues to give me the run around. They also contract out to a 3rd party for the money part of it and the cremation. They actually tried to blame the crematorium instead of themselves for the fingerprint disaster. I will be reporting them the the Louisiana State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. The older office lady was uncaring and rude also. Do not use them, they don't care about your loved ones.

This place has had my husband's ashes sense July 2023, I paid Augut 3 to have him mailed to me to Nashville TN. It's September 7 and no ashes no refund. This has been the most agonizing experience on top of loosing him I am appalled, heartbroken, and left with emptiness in my heart. God have mercy on this Funeral Director whom has put me and my grieving family through this horrific experience. Very rude and unapologetic , he yelled at me to"GET A LAWYER." I am on a fixed income and am having a very hard time like most people. Beware ...choose wisely of where you go especially at at time when a loved one has gone home. Sadly I have no idea of what will become our loved ones ashes. I am heartbroken. On my authorization Mr.Lewis picked my husband up from the morgue. I signed all the necessary paperwork to have him cremated,but I'm not authorized to have his ashes. I honestly at this point wonder if they have my husband.

Customer service was absolutely excellent and professional. Extremely empathetic and understanding. I would recommend to anyone needing the service, for a funeral service or cremation. The staff was dedicated to proper ethics, morals, and transparency. I’m extremely impressed with the way their business foundation is managed, and the delegation of the business principles that are correlated to that particular profession. The company uses calls, text, and emails as correspondence utilities to communicate with their customers. Helpful hint, my email classified the co emails as junk/spam, so be aware of that. Plus, they followed up about the situation regarding my late husband. I wanted to thank every for everything they did to make my husband’s life memorable and having him put to rest. RIP JTC ❤️ will always remember and love you.

The absolute worst service ever. I'm still waiting on death certificate for 3 months now that they got wrong. And still waiting on the paperwork to see if I did something wrong which I know I didn't. They don't know how to deal with folks that have mental illness and a number of other issues. Mr. Gary assistant sent me a text that was insensitive to my situation. I did not like are respect the message for she didn't know my father and I relationship. So she didst need to comment on that. So now I will be exercising my constitutional rights by boycotting on the weekends until my matter is handled.

I love this these People, they are Very Professional and treat you more like family then a customer. In a time of Grief We feel like things will not get better, We even more so Have lack of understanding. LOU and Dezarae definitely was my ear to listen. The Service was Amazing. I love how they Repect my Wishes upon everything I felt in my Grieving heart at that time and still after My Husband burial. I recommend this place to Use if you don't have a support Team and Most definitely if You don't have insurance. They are Very Inexpensive and Will Work with You.

The customer service was AMAZING! The entire staff was very empathic to the delicate nature of my unexpected loss. I was walked through the process in a personable manner. Whickh allowed me to make best choice for me and my family. I sincerely appreciate the over and beyond the call of duty to accommodate me and my family. I’m very disappointed with my experience with New Orleans cremation service. They told us they would call us when they were doing the cremation and never did. Also. We were from out of state. When we ordered the urn and keepsakes, there was an item missing that we paid for! They refused to make it right and refund the money for that missing item. It’s extremely disappointing, especially in a hard time like the death of a loved one.

Very organized and professional. They helped me with every step of the way with things I did not know and needed to know. They are an extended family who supports you through the difficult time you’re going through. They are very kind and respectful of your needs and wishes. I recommend them to everyone who wants to feel connected to whom their doing business with. Thank you all for your support through this difficult time for me.

I can’t express the gratitude I have for this place and the wonderful staff. They made the unexpected death of my brother in law so easy to handle. They let us in early and allowed us to stay pass the time for the viewing. The whole process was conducted with compassion and dignity. On a scale of 1-10 this place is a 12. I wish you folks blessings for you and yours.

Appreciate that this organization was available -24/7 (literally) pretty much any time that I needed a conversation with them. They eventually knew me by name, were so polite and understanding. Arrangements were complicated but this group pulled through with sophistication and respect. Cannot thank them enough for taking care of my mother after her passing.

The staff of New Orleans Funeral and Cremation Services are the best in the area. They conducted a service for my aunt today, and provided an excellent experience. We have used them 3 times and their service is consistent and professional from start to finish heartfelt thanks to the staff.

Mr. Gary and his staff were very accommodating in the untimely passing of my father. He ensured that we were able to have a small, private service/viewing to pay our last respects. Despite a few challenges along the way, he ensured to show ongoing support, guidance, and compassion.

Excellent Service! Took care of a family member after he passed and amazed me at how fast they responded and completed everything. Also the price was Great compared to other Funeral Homes. I definitely recommend them if you ever need this service.

Very unorganized, spoke to the owner and he gave us a price and when we got there they started to add additional fees. They said they were going to provide a tracking number when the ashes were mailed out, We never got the tracking number.

Gary was very understanding and answered all of the questions I had since I had never been through this before. I couldn't have asked for better more compassionate people to work with during this difficult time.
