I would avoid purchasing from here and peoples in general because of the lack of care about the products they are selling. My brand new ring ordered online came in and was loose the manager at the time was nice and did make suggestions but I didn’t feel safe sending my brand new ring to get “fixed” finding out from other reviews that there rings were lost or that they never got any information of how long it would take they quote you three weeks but actually could be months so I didn’t want to sent my brand new ring that I just got away and not be able to share it with my family. The second time we came in the assistant manager was awful her attuned was poor and overall her hygiene was questionable as she’s talking I could barley stomach it , she was rude to my and my fiancé about getting our yearly cleaning and didn’t care to offer us any other cleaning products , she kept wanting the bond number which is fine but treated us like we were dumb poor service and lack of care I am glad it’s just an engagement ring and not my final wedding band which I will be buying else where.

My husband and I purchase all of our jewelry from Peoples Jewellers due to the exceptional service and knowledge of staff. I recently went to Peoples in Southcentre to get my jewellery cleaned and inspected as per the diamond bond/warranty specs. Sarah was so patient with me as I had a ton of paperwork associated with all the jewelry. She took the time to look through each receipt/warranty/diamond bond while cross referencing each one. As my receipts were so old and fading, Sarah went over and above and printed off each detailed transaction that my husband and I made so that I could correctly reference each piece. So appreciative that I was treated like a valued customer even though I wasn't purchasing anything that day. They even cleaned and checked my mother-in-laws jewelry even though she has never purchased any jewlery through Peoples. Highly recommended!

I purchased a ring back in 2015 and my finger happened to reshape the band into a shape I could no longer wear, when I first went in back in 2016 to ask if there was anything that could be done they told me no, and I left it at that. I hadn’t worn the ring since 2016 and went back in with my mother in 2023 and she had asked about it, they told me to bring it in and they would look into it. Within seconds they reshaped the ring for me, and if they weren’t able to reshape it in store, they would send it away because I was still under warranty and they could see that it had never been sent away. Absolutely thrilled with the service that I’ve received today. The new management is amazingly helpful :)

Peoples Jewellers has a wonderful selection of jewelry for all occasions. The staff at Southcentre Mall is friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the jewelry they have both in the store and online. I had some issues with two rings I bought online and Assistant Store Manager Sarah provided immediate help in returning or exchanging them and guiding me in other purchases made at the store. She is outstanding and a credit to the company. The biggest problem I have when I visit Peoples Jewellers is trying to decide what I want. With so many choices it often seems impossible, and that's a good problem to have! I highly recommend this store for all of your jewelry purchases.

The staff at Peoples at Southcentre have been nothing but helpful. I have been there on two occasions, both being to size my engagement ring. They sized my finger and we were all convinced I was a 5.5. They sent it in for sizing and when I got it back, it turns out 5.5 was not my size at all. I kept the ring for a few days as my hand could have been too cold when I got sized initially. I tried it on when I was warm as suggested by the staff and still no luck. I brought it back in two days later to have it sent off again to size to 5.25. The staff were pleasant and very knowledgeable. They even put a rush on my repair without even asking! Great store and great staff.

I’ve been a customer at Peoples for close to 20 years now and have always had great experiences! Over the past few years we have shopped at south centre in particular where we’ve been helped by Sarah, the ASM. I was looking for a very particular band that would mesh well with my wedding set, and she went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for. You can tell she is passionate about what she does because it shows in her attention to detail and customer satisfaction. And all the times we shopped with her I have never felt pressured and felt very taken care of. If you’re looking for a new piece of jewellery she’s your girl!

Went in to southcenter looking for engagement rings with my girlfriend, checked out basically every store in the mall and got the expected "upsell" from everyone. Felt like it was very confusing understanding the diamonds, sizes, karats, metals. Then we get to Peoples and Laurie was absolutely amazing. Explained everything so easily for me and my fiancee to understand. Didn't upsell me, understood exactly what we wanted, and even suggested we check other shops in the mall because she was that confident we would come back (she was right). Laurie was 10/10 and made the whole experience way easier for us. Thank you Laurie!

When I physically came in to see about getting my wedding rings soldered together, I didn’t have my paperwork. Edith, Justine and Sarah were amazing! They went above and beyond. Because they cared and took the time to make sure things were in order, I didn’t lose my centre diamond!!! Huge deal and I’m very grateful. Each of them were kind and understanding to my situation, they were real down to earth women that I’d go back and see any day when it comes to jewelry! My first experience with Sarah was at the Sunridge location while she was the acting manager. She was very helpful in choosing a ring for myself and ensuring it was perfect!! When I picked it up I was told she transferred stores. I bought a Necklace and bracelet set for my boyfriend for Xmas and the bracelet was coming apart. I’ve gone into to see Sarah again as she gave me exceptional service in the past and she is doing everything she can to get it all fixed up!! Definitely will be working with Sarah in the coming future!!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Geraldine. It was my daughter’s ninth birthday and we had to return her original gift as it had a flaw. I did not get the warrant came in to the exchange the original necklace I had bought. I came in expecting a hassle but Geraldine stepped in and gave us the most exceptional service. We’ve always had exceptional service here. I had to drive from out of town to take my dad for some hospital appointments so I got to the mall before opening hours. Lori saw me sitting outside the store, waiting, and offered to check my rings early. I’m also very thankful that she suggested I not solder my anniversary band to my wedding ring because it allows me to wear my anniversary band to work and leave my beautiful ring at home.

We have always gone to purchase any jewellery we wanted. The manager today was very helpful. She is going to help us track down warranty for jewellery that we need to get repaired. She also was very helpful with grad and birthday gifts. She spent a lot of time with us and we didn’t feel rushed to make decisions. She also gave us information about their warranty we were aware of. Great service.

My husband and I have been going to Peoples since we got engaged in 2003. Happily married since 2004! I regularly get my set cleaned and checked. Hubby loves to get me my birthstone sets now and then as well! Geraldine is spectacular and I'm extra impressed that she would rather be honest with me (ie resizing my band might wreck the design) than get a sale. SUPER great staff all around!

Geraldine was amazing helping me and my boyfriend figure out our best options. I have an heirloom opal ring and she let us know that it might crack if we put it in a new setting, even though she would have gotten a bigger commission if we did. She was honest, kind, and helpful and I really appreciated her help. The manager was also amazing but I didn’t catch her name before we left.

This was by far the best most friendliest people's jewelry I have ever been to in Calgary. Sarah was very professional and helpful and so so sweet. I went In to send my cross away to ger fixed and I got my jewelry cleaned while I was there. They have great deals going on currently. Sarah worked with me, helping me custom design a ring. I couldn’t believe how quickly Sarah knew my style of rings I like. It is very seldom these days I have the level of customer service Sarah gave me. If you want a piece of jewellery I would definitely recommend going to the South Centre locations. I am so pleased with the wonderful service I had today. I came in with my broken chain to enquire as to the cost and turnaround time to have it sent away to be fixed. As it went, the kind sales associate, Laurie, was able to fix my chain on site and it was so reasonably priced! I am so appreciative of the quick and friendly service I received today!

I frequently visit this store and have always had amazingly help. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. They take the time to have a chat and make you feel at home. If you want a quality diamond backed with the service this is the place to go. They were extremely helpful even adding tips on how to hide the ring box. We only go to People's and we love it. We went to look for our wedding bands and it was such a great experience. It was quick and painless. Went to the store on 11th Aug in southcenter mall, one of the staff members made eye contact but ignored and passed us by. No one came to attend for almost 10 mins. Eventually left the store unattended. Really bad experience, may not go back to this branch.
