I’ve been living here in the building for the past seven years, I’ve been a loyal customer to this location. I have so much respect for the employees here that accommodate/tolerate the very demanding d/t Eastside crowd that frequents this location. And I always make sure to express my appreciation and to tell them how grateful I am for their patience. (Andrew and Janice are both shining examples of the stellar level of customer service I’m used to receiving!!!) Last night was the first time I felt EXTREMELY disrespected and wanted to make sure it was documented (in addition to the formal complaint I made with Head Office) It took 2 weeks to get in to see my Dr regarding the challenges I’ve been having with my sleep. I went to the pharmacy at 9:15 PM last night, and begged for the head pharmacist (Janice) to please, please fill my prescription before closing time (10pm) so that I could have a decent nights sleep. I had very important meetings today that I need to be well rested for. She was kind enough to agree to do that! And I was so grateful! But then when I showed up at the entrance to the store at EXACTLY 9:57PM the guy at the door who is name is “Chandi” had all of the doors locked and was standing there like a rude bouncer at a terrible nightclub, and would not allow myself or any other customers to enter the store. I expressed to him that it was not yet time to lock the doors, and that I would be very quick, out of the store in less than 3 minutes—I just needed to run in and pay for my prescription. He pretended he did not hear me and was dismissive and extremely rude and extremely unprofessional. I feel really bad that the nice pharmacist made an exception to fulfill my order on short notice to make sure I would have a good sleep. And then me not being allowed into the store, she probably felt like I just didn’t care enough to show up, Which was not the case at all. I am now going to make another review to show my appreciation and gratitude for the GREAT people that work at this store! I don’t know who this “Chandi” guy is, I’ve never seen them there before and hopefully I do not see him there again! 0 Zero stars because of him!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ BUT 5 BIG stars for pretty much everyone else that works at that location. I’ve mentioned this to several of them over the years. Because It’s a very challenging place to work, and on top of that, to have a positive attitude —is pretty much every other employee that works there. And I will list their names one by one as I now will make a very deliberate effort to recognize and review the awesome & patient people that do work there.

I have been shopping at London Drugs on Abbott St. for a couple of years and have found it is at best O.K. I only use the pharmacy now & that is because of too many empty shelves, a lot of the floor staff are rude, condescending, to !any of their patrons. I know it is in a bad neighborhood, but, that is no excuse to treat people without RESPECT !!! I have been treated exactly this way in this store . I would like to think that the STAFF are not judging a book by its cover !!! Sometimes this happens here !! The pharmacy is however OUTSTANDING !! Polite,friendly,and most of all very courteous!!! It is my opinion that the neighborhood & the street people have taken their toll on most of the staff !!! Enter at your own risk Sincerely, Robin Adie

Really? You guys are complaining about a basketball court that encourages community activities? Keep your head up, pay attention, and don't get hit by a ball, it's simple. I love this location, I think it's wonderful and it has a Canada Post office inside. The pharmacy has pretty quick service and the store has decent deals every once in a while if you're looking.

This is one of my favourite London Drugs, the Pharmacy staff is very helpful and they have an incredible selection of small appliances and electronics rivalling Wal-Mart. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable in all areas.

What can I say, it's a great place to shop when they have sales, but it does have a Pharmacy and a post office and just about everything else from A to Z …

I know this is a great pharmacy. All the workers here are very friendly and kind and try really hard to help you with your needs.

LONDON DRUGS STAFF ARE WONDERFUL, FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE & HELPFUL. STORE IS ALWAYS STOCKED FROM PHARMACY TO ELECTRONICS.

Good selection of stuff across the board, even electronics, and the pharmacy staff at this location have been really nice.
