Only major store is Spar then your PEP. There are no major fashion shops. And then KFC and Debonairs for a hungry stomach. Mall is wheelchair friendly. All major bank ATMS are available, plus a Capitec branch. There is also a Post office. There's a laundry service next to Capitec branch. And a taxi rank within the mall premises. Toilets are paid for, R2. The mall has security personnel on foot patrol till 22H00.

This place has the potential to become great. With Spar as the main dish, there's still some sauce missing. I don't know whether it's still traumatised from the recent looting, but I feel like it is no longer the same. The vibe, the feel, the people. Yes they are trying to modernise it and grow it but it just doesn't feel the same anymore.

It's sad that things had to be this way but hey, life happens. Right now Spar and Pep are running this place, even though it's not yet where it's supposed to be at infrastructurally speaking. But business is functioning. A lot of work still needs to be done though. With a lot of reconsiderations this time...

If you want to be safe from covid 19 stay away from Mega Philani Mall. People at this mall they don't wear musks, even the security guys who works at the mall some of them they don't wear their shield of honour. Even when you enter the mall there are no sanitisers, it's like covid 19 is a thing of the past.

Great customer service, the mall is still under construction with restricted areas but safe for shopping. Hoping for an even better experience once all shops are open, which I believe is soon. As we have seen with the Springfield mall opening last week, amazing offers from the shops as they well customer.

I don't like this mall. It empty and taxis sometimes don't wanna go here. Shops are very small. It not safe. If they can just expand it I'm sure they can have more customers and more safety. It has been re-opened for business after it was looted and shutted down. It very helpful to people living nearby.

If they can remove the sense less boom gates everything would be fine... ayahlupha lawa maBoom gates. Atleast open another entrance by the nsimbini road and have the boom gates. Kodwa iEntrance and exit njengoba iyona... really there is no need for boom gates. I love love mega philani ngkhulele khona

It's a small but convenient mall. It has KFC & Debonairs (which does deliveries) fast food outlets. There's a nice big & clean SPAR with fresh food, and vegetables. There PEP store and ATMS. Parking is free and spacious. There's a post office as well …

We need more shops and reataurants please, burger king or mc donalds, and can someone invest in a gym business that place needs it. Galleria vigirn avtive is out of the way so as mega city for some1 who lives in folweni philani z section and mbumbulu

Its a great place just wish there were more shops but its also convenient because its so close there's lots of ATMs if you need it... And not to mention Tops for those looking to get beverages without having to travel all the way to those big malls

The mall is not is safe , there are lot of people moving around selling fake product and some selling fake Vodacom SIM cards and last week I've been robbed R200-00 by these people selling fake Vodacom SIM cards!!! Pls beware of them !!!

Philany shopping mall actually services a big a area as it in the centre Nsimbini, part of Umlazi and Malagasie with Spar, Pep, Debanoirs and KFC and few other stores making shopping experience convenient for locals.

it's a good mall if u need something on the drive but as for the Banking system there's just ATM and note that only Capitec bank do deposits and there's not many shops and store parking is available.

Nothing special and exciting abt the centre to make things even worst tellers at Spar are layz cant even greet a customer when serving one.anyway one does go there to do what ever one need to do.

It is situated on the outkirts of UMlazi township. Has spacious parking space, with taxi rank n petrol garage nearby. Here you can buy building material,food n clothes,a place to explore indeed.

This mall is good in terms of banking & making withdrawal every ATM is there u choose the bank of your choice. When shopping or buying liquor , Spar is available but restaurants r very few.

It's a small mall with SuperSpar as the main retailer. The Pep store has nice clothes for children. There is only one walk on bank Capitech. All ATM's for major banks are available.

The mall is not that bad. On a scale of ten I would give it six. There are three restaurants and one Spar supermarket that has Tops liquor store. The parking is good and safe.

There isn't really much to do in philany valley mall. There is a spar, pep, capitec bank amongs other things and ATM's as well. Plus a KFC and debonairs that's just about it.

Love its, its a simple mall than most people can use. Its has free parking, has a parking wheelchair drivers, and they can still use the mall they are no step or elevator.

The mall is good but Spar is swak, aI went to buy fried chips they left them open they are not covered for the whole day and they don't have spicy to add taste on it

I was withdrawing cash on the 3rd of September 2018 and I left my phone in an absa ATM I went back after two minutes I couldnt get help or CCTV footage …

My favorite local mall, where I'm able buy Prego roll, lip meat, spices in a spice shop, imithombo shop. I'm still looking forward for all shops to reopen.

Welcoming, small very local... It's feels like home town tuck shop.. we love it here though.. there are no much shops hhy.. only spar is the grossay shop

The valley has lots of people selling insurances out they wait for you outside your casas you park very uncomfortable. Also ATMs are not private enough.

Philani Valley Mall, it actually a nice place to visit almost to 2days a week course it has got a nice view of the river called umbongitwini. I love it.

It's a good place cause it close to the people we don't have to travel that much and it's isn't often crowded especially during the week

My first time going to Umlazi, so I was skeptical about going to a mall, but am glad I went...just like any other malls in Durban....

Very needed in that part of the World. All necessary Shops and Services are there even though there could be more but it's adequate

the place was not busy at all, their spar even , as big as it is but the tellers are very fast... and it's clean and seemed safe

Slowly but surely we'll get there the place is still under reconstruction. More shops are opening and it's looking good so far.

It a mall in uMlazi Y section it only have two Commercial banks which is NEDBANK and CAPITEC BANK and one supermarket Mega Spar

After the looting,yes it has changed its still under construction.i am glad they are renoveting the mall after almost a year.

Needs a lot of cleaning, a lot of things don't seem to work like boom gates etc but a good place for whatever you need!

The place is so boring, no music and it's not safe cos they few securities I think about four for the whole mall.

I visited KFC there. The service was poor. The chicken served was not fresh. I couldn't finish it, it was awful.

The mall is good but needs some renovation after its destruction due to looting that took place last year 2021

Unilever products are on special at Spar. I bought 1kg of rama original for R29.99. Spar is good for me

New stores are operating and the setting is really accomodating and nice Only if we had Banks not ATMs

I just go here to buy bread and milk. But it is a decent place taking into consideration its location.

Convenient neighborhood shopping center, Spar closes at 19h00, great for a working mom like me.

This place has alot of space.There's no bumping onto a person and it has a post office

Though partly under renovation, it still resembles the cool atmosphere for shopping.
