I had difficulty with my basement in floor heating system and decided to use this company. They came essentially yearly over 4 years for the same issue with various pumps needing replacement. One year ago they replaced a pump that had been replaced 2 years earlier. This year the same issue occurred and I felt it was the same pump that had failed in less than one year. I informed them of this and they sent someone out to see if they could warranty the pump. They felt the pump was overworked but working and were not sure why the in floor heating system was no longer working and advised me to try another company. I called another company who confirmed it was the pump that failed. They said they could not warranty the pump since it was the wrong pump used and failed due to installation error. They used a cast iron pump when a stainless steel one should have been used. A stainless steel pump had been there prior to pro plumbing being involved. They replaced the pump with the correct one and warrantied their work for 5 years. The pump was filled with rust when opened and clearly would have looked that way a week ago when Pro Plumbing was there. I'm not sure if they realized the pump was installed incorrectly and did not want to admit it and thus said it was working and to call another company or if they were so incompetent that they believed the pump was still working. Either way I would avoid using them.

I hired Pro plumbing to change my bathtaps. Firstly, they showed up 3 hours late but I thought things happen. Then for the next 45 minutes he sat texting somebody on the phone (@$90/hour) and the sat and waited for a response. Eventually I said something, and he responded in a hauty manner that he's was talking to his boss. I had bought the taps myself so the only thing he had to do was install them. Eventually another plumber showed up and the two of them then stood for a lengthy period of time chatting with eachother beside the van. That was I phoned his supervisor who said he would not have me bothering his plumber. I informed him that the only thing I had said to him was that I wasn't paying him $95 per hour to text people. The supervisor basically indicated that he would take as much time as he needed or he would take him off the job. Clearly this wasn't going anywhere so i told him to take them off the job. So, the two plumbers came back and removed important pieces from the tap that I had bought. Don't hire Pro Plumbing to do anything. They may charge less per hour but they will take five times longer then anywhere else. They could care less about customer satisfaction because there seems to be a shortage of plumbers. Also, it's a business where you rarely require repeat business, not often anyway.

I would definitely say they were very friendly to deal with. However when I contacted them to come out to a rental property to assess and fix an older furnace and hot water tank I advised them repeatedly that there was poor lighting to ensure they brought some lights to properly assess the job. The plumber arrived on time and was very courteous but he had no additional lights so he was using his cell phone to do the work. Advised me that he needed to replace a valve on the tank which he did and that the furnace needed a new part which he had to go and pick up. Came back and installed the part on the furnace and then came up and said that didnt work and the wiring isn’t great so your going to need to replace the furnace.( couldn’t have assessed this in the beginning) And proceeded to give me an almost 600 dollar bill, the next day the tenant called me and advised me that the tank was pouring water out all over the basement floor. I called another company to come in and replace both the furnace and hotwater tank. The plumber for the other company told me that they should never have attempted to fix either the water tank or the furnace. When I called Rafael to discuss the situation I recieved the run around. I would never recommend wasting your money or time with this company.

We called them out for a cracked/burst water pipe. We called very first thing in the morning and they were at our house promptly. Our plumber's name was Devon W. and I can't say enough good things about him. He really looked at the problem, thought about some factors specific to our house and gave a few options and told me which one he thought was best. I REALLY liked this approach, because I want to know options, I want to be informed and I want to know that my plumber isn't just going with the easiest or most expensive option. He also looked (at my request_ at other issues we had around the house and made suggestions, but did not get pushy about doing the work. He did great work and was very nice. We will be calling Devon for future jobs if necessary!

I was referred to Pro Plumbing by a friend of mine and boy was I glad he referred me. The gentleman who greeted me on the phone when I made my appointment was super friendly. When I explained the issues I was having he immediately put me at ease with his knowledge and expertise. Who knew toilets were so complicated! I told the wonderful gentleman on the phone I needed service as soon as possible so I thought it would take a few hours but they came in 45 minutes! I was amazed! Again the gentleman who came to my door was very professional and very friendly. He looked at the plumbing issue I had, dissected the problem, and within an hour the issue was fixed. I will refer Pro Plumbing to all of my friends. Keep up the good work guys!

I had a malfunctioning furnace that I couldn't tell what the problem was even after changing out the flame sensor. Pro Plumbing send Steve over and switched out the high limit, left a note to monitor and advise if there were any problems. Problem still persisted and actually got worse as the blower motor seized and I had to call ATCO to come look as I had no heat and also smelled plastic or rubber burning. ATCO suggested the heat exchanger might be cracked. Pro Plumbing sent Steve back who did an even further and thorough check and confirmed the heat exchanger was cracked and therefore a replacement furnace is required. Pro Plumbing stands by their good work and makes sure the customer is satisfied at the end of the day.

Excellent service from start to finish. Appointment booking was painless and very professional. The saying "you always get what you pay for" doesn't apply with Pro Plumbing & Heating. Their pricing was cheaper than most and their work exceeded all expectations. They do not gouge. The field craft are very polite, professional, courteous, efficient and competent. We didn't have to watch over them while they worked. We got the results we wanted in a timely manner and at a great cost. We are very happy with them and will continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs. We cannot say enough positive about all of our experiences with Pro Plumbing & Heating and highly recommend them.

Nowadays a rarity - I was very impressed with their excellent customer service!!! I walked into their store a couple weeks back with a friend looking for parts for a DYI plumbing job and had questions. Everyone in the office was incredibly helpful and friendly. In addition, I ended up booking a service call for my fireplace which was dealt with the very next day. Once again, I was very impressed with the customer service. The Technician was on time, friendly and informative. He had the issue identified in no time and offered DYI information to save me money – which I happily took and it was done within minutes. It's always nice when a tradesman genuinely seems like they are on, 'Your side' and truly hoping that a problem won't be expensive. Our recent experience with Pro Plumbing was great and our guy (embarrassingly I forgot his name) really seemed to be working with us and not just looking to make money. He was honest and laid out the worst case scenario, but hoped that it wasn't the case. Eventually it was a simple fix and he walked us through how to prevent the problem in the future and educated us on some other preventative tips. Super friendly, very efficient, and didn't look for an opportunity to 'cash in.' Will use again for sure.

This company has done great work on multiple jobs within my home for many years, having the pleasure of working with accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly staff and service technicians, knowing many of them by first name. I've had my furnace and water tank attended to, as well as functional custom piping built in for my dishwasher. They are readily available, often within 1 to 4 days for regular work, with competitive pricing. My water tank finally needed replacing after almost 20 years, and they were able to come the next day of my call. Thank you, Pro Plumbing, you are a credit to your industry.

We have used Pro Plumbing for a few different things in our house (installing new taps and a dishwasher, installing natural gas line for a gas range) and they have been reasonably priced and were able to do the work quickly. We needed to call them after the natural gas line was installed because there was a minor issue (some gas was leaking due to the line being slightly loosened) and they came out on a Friday night, after hours, and were able to fix the hose right away. We will call them again for future plumbing needs. Everyone we have dealt with is friendly and professional.

I always seemed to avail myself of this company's services when I had a house on the south side, and they always did solid work for a competitive price. Having to move into a downtown condo recently, I found the toilet to be on death's door, and so I gave them a call. Great customer service from Ryan, even if he didn't have the part on hand that I needed for the fix. Sure enough, the workaround broke a few days later, and Pro Plumbing sent him back to remedy the problem, free of further charge. It was a somewhat awkward situation, but they handled it quite well.

Our 1st -15 in Edmonton and my furnace is not working. I called Pro Plumbing and within 5 min, I received confirmation that a technician would be at my house in less then 2hrs. Worst service ever!! Don't go with them. Poor quality work, and horrible manners. They are unreliable, consistently late, and treat you awfully with zero respect. They person who schedules the workers doesn't pay attention to times and will schedule you regardless of what your availability is and then later blame you and demand the money. They are just scamming you a half-done job for your money. Find a business that is more reliable that is worth your money!

To be upfront, my interaction with Pro Plumbing was limited to a quote for work and a few emails back and forth. This isn't a review of their quality of work or customer service. Given the high Google ratings, I must be the exception. I received a second quote from another highly Google-rated plumber in the Edmonton area and it was over $1,000 less than my quote from Pro. Not really sure how two estimates for the same work can be that far off.

I had a piping connection break and caused a major leak overnight, I was able to turn off the water but wanted a professional to reinstall the connection. I called Pro Plumbing first thing in the morning and they were there within a few hours to repair the connection and explained to me why it broke the first time. The guy was in and out within 30 minutes and the price was reasonable. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Unbelievable service from this plumbing company. I had 2 plumbing companies come out to my place and unsuccessfully fix the problem I had with my furnace. I ended up being charged both times for a job that didn't even get done! Pro Plumbing came in and fixed the issue within an hour and I ended up paying even less than the first two companies and they didn't even fix the problem!! I definitely found my go-to for Plumbing and Heating.

24hour no heat emergency with 6month old at home Good response to my call although .. When they gave me a call back to confirm that they where coming I informed them that I had some one who was quicker and new more about the specific furnace I got back a smug reply "well thanks for getting back to me" all I had to say was "hey i was dialing the number. And besides you could not give me a time frame so why should I wait for you"

I used Pro Plumbing a few weeks ago after I had problems over the Holidays. The Family was in and I needed help fast. I called the office and they had a guy out to see what was going on later that day. They fixed everything in a timely manner and their prices were very reasonable. This company is currently 46+ days late on a peer-to-peer loan they took out via Lending Loop. This lending platform is funded by average, middle income, individual investors. Yet, this company seems fully willing to head towards default on their debt obligations at the expense of individuals who trusted them to honour their financial obligations. Please bear this in mind when doing business with this company!

I called John after discovering my HWT was shot. He showed up the next morning on time with a replacement tank and all the necessary parts. Both John and his helper were very courteous and polite while they were working in my home. I had to leave for work while they were handling the install and called me once it was complete. When I phoned them they told me like one hour is 85dollars but actually charged me 250dollars.The people who came seems lack of experience and keeping FaceTime his boss. What he did is just turn off the switch to avoid the water leaking. But he didn't turn it off tight. After he left, my ceiling system continue leaking. I feel like I just waste 250dollars. I will never let them help me fix anything again.

Absolutely the worst plumbing company. They did a shoddy job of installing a hot water heater and bathtub plumbing. They came back to fix the problem and gave me an additional bill but the problem was never fixed. After that they refused to return my phone calls causing me to have to phone a different plumbing company to repair their mistakes.

After diagnosing our problem, Ryan informed referred us to another company better suited to meet our needs. We were initially charged for the service call, but after Pro Plumbing realized that we had sent in some photos to outline the problem before the service call, they refunded us the money for the diagnosis. Thank you for making it right.

I had intermittent hot water (none at all really) and my hot water on demand system needed a flush/descaling. Jetco quoted the job at $400.00. That seemed like a lot. So I called Pro Plumbing & Heating. I received incredible service. Kevin was professional and kind. The job was done for $210.00 total. Everything is working great.
