King Edward Pharmacy is supposed to be a reasonably priced Pharmacy but they are not. Today and other days I have been there and the service is not good at all. Tonight was the worst service I have ever witnessed. 1stly one pharmacist was on duty, no assistance to assist the pharmacist, no floor assistance, the cashier was directing the few customers that came in from behind the cashier counter. I waited for approximately 15 minutes to get a box of 40 adcodol which were extremely expensive R59.95. (R60). The most I have ever paid for this item before. When I reached the cashier I asked him where is everyone from the staff I was told that 2 were on lunch, 1 was in the stock room and I that they are still battling due to the fact of the looting last year. Surely if you want to pick up your Pharmacy or shop why do you ask such exorbitant prices when this Pharmacy is under the umbrella of AlphaPharm. If I am wrong then I am wrong. This whole country is in dire straights of what has happened with the looting and Covid but at least be reasonable.

Very sad state of affairs this mall has become. The shops themselves and the spare have great staff and plenty of variety to choose from. The area has nist become really run down and is not safe to say the least when u are just outside and even inside parking area. It can do with a new security plan and some security lol as currently it's as if they nom existant. This mall used to be amazing so it has the potential to once again be the first choice of most people to get their daily and monthly shopping requirements fulfilled.

It is a little centre and you can get most of your shopping done. Parking is a nightmare and don't go on a payday weekend. It definitely needs and outside spruce up as it is very dirty looking but inside has seen some work and is looking better. To get there can also be a hazard as it is right next door to the testing ground and we often see large trucks broken down outside, etc. I don't go very often but they keep my dogs food at their little pet shop and they have a great post office.

Everyday members of the community are complaining of been victims of crime in and around the immediate part of the Mall, or know of someone been a victim. There are always beggars, in the Mall, security and Management have NOT been able to resolve this problem ongoing and worsening over the last 2+ years. Drug addicts, vagrants and other elements consuming alcohol are often seen at the entrances of the Mall Main Parking, side roads and surrounding.

KFC, KFC, KFC! You leave feeling like the staff was specifically trained to offer bad service. Three separate occasions they got my order wrong and on all three occasions they did not even say sorry for the wrong order. Just next to them is wimpy with staff that seems happier when the shop is empty. The pharmacy is well run and extremely efficient though. Mr Price is the best of the lot, friendly staff that is helpful and extremely well trained.

With the addition of the KFC to complement the rest of the stores, Queensmead Mall's experience is definitely more complete in feeling. A Spar for groceries, PEP and Mr Price for clothing, laundromat, post office, key maker, cell phone store, a library on the top floor, and then a bunch of restaurants. It, more or less, a well-rounded offering of stores to meet your daily needs. It being very close to a residential area also helps immensely.

Nothing much here and probably not the safest part of town. Spar is so so. Small Pep and MRP.....don't expect the shop the whole range. KFC and Wimpy also don't rank high but fine if you need to eat. Never been to the library so can't comment. Small Post Office so hope you catch it at the right time or you will be in a long queue. One positive ...Queensmead is very conveniently located for people staying or working in the area.

I don't like how bad the center has become. My partner likes the chemist there but other than the chemist and the post office we won't go there if we don't have to. All of the shops seem to have sub standard service, the spar is badly run as is the wimpy, there are always drunks outside the bottle store and hanging around the side of the building. All in all its a no from me

Convenient, clean, great value for money clothing shop CC if I'm not mistaken, not a great spar but then I'm accustomed to crossings spar and Grove spar nelspruit which are top of the range. Not sure if pep is revamping or leaving, they do have a haberdashery and good pharmacy but a small centre, only convenient mall for umbilo that I know of... Close to China mall.

Queensmead mall is always a hive of activity. There has been a recent high turn over of tenants and an anchor tenant besides Spar would be great. Not the best of Spars but you can get the basics... don't recommend their bakery and the shop needs an "update". However it is clean and staff are friendly.

Very convenient. I was in one of the guesthouse in the area and it's a walkable distance to the mall. They have all the banks ATM and most of the popular food franchises like KFC, Debonairs and many others. They have spar which has almost everything needed in a grocery store

It's quite small. No banking halls just atms. There is Absa atm which can deposit, standard bank atm can deposit too, fnb atm and Nedbank. The pharmacy is quite expensive. Very limited shops and the library is now closed which is very important to the community

The following is at this mall: KFC,Wimpy,Mr Price,SPAR, Pharmacy,cake shop,Post Office,key cutters,shoe shop,PEP,cell phone shop,card shop ,DVD rentals with internet cafe and a library upstairs and the following ATM's - ABSA, Nedbank,FNB and Standard Bank.

Some parking spaces are a little tight, especially when the 'inconsiderate shopper' straddles their allocated parking spot. Other than that, the Mall is tops, and, also has Spar TOPS.. Very neat and tidy. Protocols observed... …

As malls go, this one does not rate very high, EXCEPT for the quiet Post Office tucked away at the back...with always helpful staff and a serious but obligong woman who signs off as Commissioner...even when the door is about to close. Most grateful.

Shocked at the dirt all over, the shops are clean and respectable, spar is never disappointing here. Security upgrade needed ASAP Update 22/11/21 Much cleaner and more security noted, new shops opened inside as well.

Went to the post office wasted my petrol Closed and soo was Southway mall also closed surely if very important places r closed this should go on the Media for others so they dont waste their time money and petrol

Lovely little mall. However the spar needs to sort out there stock problem. Been there two or three times the last 2 weeks. Could not get what I needed had to go to some else in the neighbourhood.

I believe that there should be more car guards or contracted security presence. It's an important thing for me when I visit a mall. Has all the essentials though for residents in the neighborhood

I was robbed of my fone which contains sentimental photos of my late father in law with my family. Security needs to be beefed up as it seems as though there's a lot of riff Raff hanging around

Went to the post office for fishing permit but they didn't have forms. There was no line because some of their systems were off line. So for normal post office business it isa good place to go

I shop regularly are Spar and Pep Queensmead and so far have never had any problem. Sometimes when it's busy parking is a problem but that's to be expected on busy days anywhere

A small, neat easy shopping mall. A great Superspar with many other known stores. A visit to the Beantree coffee shop is a must, good service with excellent coffee.

This place has gone to the dogs, behgers every corner you turn, spar is always packed so full you wait hours to reach a till fruit and veg ate normally rotten

Not a lot of variety but there are ATMs which is useful. And Mr price Pharmacy store, stationers stores and a yarn and wool place. It's small but convenient

A well-stocked super spar outlet with plenty of parking. ATM's of all the major banks can be found in this mall. Plenty of security to make you feel secure.

The meat was so dry and salty I did not enjoy that at all Second time I went, I bought zinger wings.. So dry still! Won't bother myself again with this KFC

A very cozy shopping complex with a Spar that closes at 19h00. Take out restaurants include KFC, Wimpy and McDonald's. This complex also has a pharmacy.

Queensmead mall is one of the greatest I've ever met and quiet and clean at the same time where there's no busy and you're forever getting what u wants

Queensmead Spar is good but unfortunately needs more security as their are a lot of vagrants hanging around who haras people for food and money etc

It's convenient to buy for small groceries as it's nearer to where I stay. Although there are no banks available, also the stores are few.

I'm always given first preference to park in a reserved space for special cases due to injury. I'm known without explaining my condition.

A convenient shopping center with essential retail shops for the Umbilo area. I would recommend they consider a laundromat business too.

This place used to be a great place to be at but now its no longer safe. People get mugged when withdrawing their cash from the ATMs

No Capitec Atm inside yet outside there's a capitec board . Also Standard bank ATMs aren't working and there isn't any notice of it.

Decent. The biggest retail store there is SPAR and major bank ATMs are there. FNB, Absa, Standard bank, Nedbank and CAPITEC.

There isn't anything I dislike about the mall.. It's mall enough to accommodate residents who stay around with necessities.

I love queensmead mall its like home. I do all my shopping there. I love the services in spar. The works are very friendly
