I had the worst experience at this Staples. I do feel like Staples is soon to go out of business and that it is hard to hire adequate staff. I made an order online for their printing services. I called the day for pick-up to confirm the time and I showed up as expected and none of the prints were completed. I had to speak to the manager to get it resolved with no guarantee. How do you not guarantee a service that is explicitly promised on your website and verbally confirmed by your staff over the phone prior to the expected pick-up time? He tried to resolve the issue and have them delivered to my place, only 1/3 of the files were printed and not in the required orientation...3 hours after the expected pick-up time. I spoke to Staple's head office in Quebec/Ontario for following day as this was getting extremely urgent. They tried to resolve the matter. I spoke the print service person at this location for a whole day to makes sure the order was correct. Even though it was finally resolved. I still had to waste another 40 minutes at the store (after the scheduled time to get my order ready). I felt like I wasted a lot of time for such a simple service that Staples offered online. I understand that terrible circumstances happen. There were so many better ways to resolve the issue. I wasted a lot of time getting this order through. I think that if anyone is interested in getting quality customer service with bulk prints to go elsewhere.

I went here to get some large items laminated. When I dropped off the items the store was really busy. There were two workers working hard to keep the line moving with the large printers, deliveries and at customer service. There were 3 workers not busy at all in the computer and check out aisles. One of them was on his phone for over 10 minutes while others ran around like crazy trying to help customers. When I got my items back from being laminated they were of poor quality. Apparently the laminator didn't do a good job because I used two sided tape to hold a poster to a large sheet of constructive paper. This didn't stop the worker from doing all 3 of my posters in poor quality and still charging me $55. Will not be going back here. Tried here again. They won’t take back new headphones due to Covid even though I have returned some to Best Buy with the same complaint. They wouldn’t give me in store credit either.

Worst customer service I have ever had from a Staples store! The manager actually hid instead of working to resolve the issue J.S claimed to be the manager but I realized his card just said supervisor. I am a very calm person and this guy escalated the situation to a full angry moment. After he hid the rest of the staff ignored me and were texting on their phones ignoring the store lines ringing off the hook. Don’t worry I informed them they were ringing lol but honestly I myself have been in customer service most of my life and I have never seen such a thing from someone calling themselves manager. Poor example for the rest of the staff. I have been to most of the staples across the city and surrounding areas and even once waited for the manager to commend the staff he had on that day. I recommend going to a different location. Ps happened tonight so I’m a bit ranty

I went in to this location to get my deceased dog's paw print scan copied onto 2 pages of card-stock at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday. It was time sensitive as I had to drop them off for a memorial order. I had both the digital scan and the physical copy to ensure a quick and easy job. The customer service representative told me they're closing soon so she can't do it. I said "oh.. um.." and she said it's Staples policy that they cannot do any print services on demand, you must make an appointment or drop it off ahead of time, so I could leave the prints there and get them tomorrow. I didn't feel comfortable doing that so I thanked her and left. The next day, I called another location and they told me there's no such policy. I told my friend and she had copies made on demand earlier that day. I'm curious why I was told this was policy..

I recently attended this location to have some photos printed off that I needed printed on a lager then usual piece of paper that was going to be used as a stencil for some wood burnings I’m doing (on large cutting boards). I required same day service and even though it was steadily busy they were still happy to squeeze me in to their busy schedule. The lady that served me was named Jenna and she was SUPER helpful, very kind, and friendly; she was also understanding and sympathetic of how important the prints were to me so that I could get to stencilling and burning ASAP. She printed all five 14x14 photos on regular paper for me within about an hour and it only came to about $18 which I thought was reasonable all considered. THANKS AGAIN FOR HELPING ME OUT!

My wife was just in this location trying to shop for tablets. Male employee standing by the tablets reading his phone. She asks him if he can help her with tablets. Says he knows nothing about them, doesn't offer to call anyone, just goes back to looking at his phone. How bad is it the Staples puts up with uncaring, lousy employees like this. They wonder why everyone shops on line, not hard to figure when the bricks and mortar experience is so bad. Phoned the store after writing this and then seeing dozens more recent complaints of lousy service. When I talked to a manager she seemed to be completely unaware of the service problems so many are complaining about. Definite need for some detailed management training if this is true.

My experience at the Copy Center practically gave me cancer. If a desk is so sticky that it feels like a 3 year old spilled pop everywhere, that is nothing to be proud of and does not prove how well it's being sanitized. Customers don't want to touch things that feel dirty and disgusting, especially during these COVID times. If you want to scan anything, you will be charged by time, and naturally, it's very slow., You will not get full instructions. Expect to reload your card and re-do everything, at least once.... Back at the sticky desk. The reps were rude, acting busy instead of helping customers. I will avoid using this Copy Center, in the future.

I came in to have a simple 2 document print done. After giving them the release code, I was told to come back in 24 hours. They called the next day, 20 hours later, and told me they no longer had the file. So, I needed to resubmit it before it could be ready for pick up. When I came in to pick up the first time, there was a sizing issue with the document. We reviewed the issue, and they assured me it would be resolved and I could come back the next day. Round two proved no different, just presenting me with the same blueprint with a botched scale reference. Save yourself some headache and valuable time, and go to a professional printing service.

So i went in to pick up some stamps i had custom made and the store was so easy to work with. There was a supply issue which caused a delay on my same day purchase. I went in to pick up the stamps that were available and simply asked if it was possible to get a discount as what i paid for was delayed katie was great she quickly called priya over to handle it. Within a few minutes i realized that i had forgotten one stamp and instead of getting money back would it be easier to just get a 9th stamp. Few minutes later Priya has it arranged and i was on my way. Both Katie and priya were fantastic and i appreciated the way they handled everything.

Props to the staff at this location - especially (I think this is correct) Amin? for helping me find what I was looking for when it wasn't where it should have been. He asked the employee at the cash about price matching the website price as it was coming up a different price when scanned in store. He stuck around to make sure it was done and even offered to help me carry things out to my vehicle. I LOVE when I go to a store and the employees actually help you instead of run away when they see you looking for something. It's rare to find that these days.

Wife went to print some photos here and me standing there made her feel "rushed" and I was told to go look around. Well, I don't care for wondering around somewhere I didn't want to be for starters, so if you're in my position, please check out the office chair section. I enjoyed paying bills on my phone while waiting, sitting in "The Executive". She even text me to apologize for how long it was taking, but the supreme comfort of "The Executive" made me care much less about how annoying this chore had become. Thanks chair, you made it bearable.

Hannah at the 13154 137 Ave Staples in Edmonton helped me today (27 January 2022). When the self-serve printing station refused to print double-sided, she went above and beyond, going out of her way to make sure I got what I needed. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. She knows how to deliver high-quality customer service, and she is a strong to asset to your store. I was very impressed. I will now be going to your store for my printing needs and likely other things as well. I'll also be recommending your store to others I talk to.

Went to buy a cabinet for the office. Saw the all employees are standing at the front chatting to each other.... wait till an employee walked by and I asked him for help. He said he was busy and left!. I found a cart, picked up a cabinet and loaded on myself. Walked to the cashier to pay and a man walked up and said the cabinet is "for display and not for sale" and he pushed the cart back. The cashier and I were speechless! I left the store empty-handed. Went to another outfit to get the cabinet will never come back to this store again.

Never had issues until today. Due to huge lineups that take forever I needed to print on cardstock. Usually ladies are nice, but this lady told me it needs to be sent through online and that it will even takes DAYS to print. Totally discouraging me and told it will even cost me $3.00 for each print. Is this the truth and I need this dealt with as this is my go to location. What kind of lying service is this? Felt like she was discriminating me for the way she spoke to me making me feel like some immigrant that can't understand her.

My husband and I went to this Staples for new phones and new phone plans and the quality of service here was phenomenal!! Dexter helped us through the switch and made it a very relaxed and easy process. He was super friendly and funny. He made sure we understood everything and gave us a great deal!! He made sure our phones were completely switched over correctly and told us to come back and see him if we were unsure of anything. I needed a laminator, paper cutter, and a couple of those new Sharpie gel pens and was not disappointed! I walked in not knowing anything about the different laminators, and walked out with a good base knowledge, and the perfect laminator for me. Awesome service from awesome staff! I could have possibly gotten a laminator cheaper from Amazon, but the knowledge of the team members there is worth the extra $5 to say the least. This is our regular staples, and I'm glad they are. I came here to fax one sheet of paper and the associate young asian woman extremely rude at the business centre , than she gives attitude to the me the customer she is trying to say that a fax takes 1/2 to go through , the manager was not a help at all making excuses about but at least Priya general Supervisor was helpful … Lana knows how to get a customer upset , I would suggest Lana needs client care training . I was just there and the cashier was literally having a 5 minute conversation with a customer while there were several of us waiting in line... and there were no other cash registers open. To the female cashier: please learn to shut down a conversation when someone is attempting to narrate their entire life story while customers are waiting to pay. Needless to say, I put all my items back and left the store. This is terrible customer service.

I was referred to this location for a new phone plan during their Boxing Week Deals and Junaid H. made this usual process quick and easy. He made sure I was aware of what the plan included and to my surprise, also told me I was eligible for a gift card from Staples due to the deal they had! Also helped me save some money by walking me through how to use the referral link from the carrier. Excellent service, would recommend!

A few ladies at the print centre are super helpful, however today the new lady refuses to help resolve a print issue and insists I pay to use the computer to resolve the print issues myself before paying to print my documents. In the past other ladies have quickly helped out with no issue. Karen today tells me it’s against company policy and those ladies are all wrong for helping me. Time to cut “Karen” loose.

Worst costumer services ever you would experience! Super rude staff especially and the printing station. Never helpful and that’s not the 1st time they do this to me. Simple paper one copy she’s needs one day to print it out ! On top of that I’m paying for the extra service she’s making which doesn’t make any sense ! I bought an LG 32 inch gaming monitor. When I got home and unpacked the item. I noticed that the tv was an open box. I reached out to the store. The manager, Eric, phoned me back the next day. It is actually a sad comment on the world today when you have to admit that people actually thanked you for coming to their store or were pleasant to you. This is a customer review about an employee in the print section. I had a huge issue for a school project and submitted a document late on the staples website. Never been to this location but will say this is the best location for customer service. AJ in wireless helped both me and mom get brand new phones and a printer for such a good deal! The photo center wasn't helpful at all!! She decided to take 30 minutes to help us and took customers that were after us first. then plain out said she wouldn't help us with our photo's we had a lot of shopping that day so among all of the stores we were at that was by far the worst service !!

Make sure to keep your receipt for all purchases because they won’t accept returns without them. Even if it’s clearly a staples brand product that was bought there. Manager lady there has an entitled attitude about her and makes you feel like she could care less about helping you.

Half closing your gates when your hours away from close has happened to staples locations as long as I can remember. It's unprofessional and it needs to stop before I'd ever consider going back. You are either open for service, or closed. Not "go away wall has been deployed"

I can never figure this place out. There is always a line up for business service but only one staff. Then 2 or 3 cashiers but no line up. Would be nice to be able to pay for a fax at regular cashier.
