I bought a pair of JBL ear phones at the Source in City Centre Mall two months ago. Just the other day, the right ear phone stopped working. I went there today to talk to the manager about what he could do for me. He was absolutely no help at all. The East Indian manager, Chirag, was very condescending and had a smile on his face the whole time he was talking to me. Apparently, he thought the whole ordeal was funny. I paid $100 for these ear phones and expected a lot more usage out of them than two months. I will NEVER shop at the Source again!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I bought a defective pair of JBL ear phones from the Source in City Centre Mall on December 24/22. The right ear phone quit working after less than 2 months. The manager at the Source there had zero interest in helping me. He laughed at me and thought it was funny. He was extremely unprofessional. Fast forward to last week. Thinking it was a longshot, I walked into the Source at Kingsway Mall to see if they could help me out. I spoke to the manager, Daniel. He was so nice and kind. He went way out of his way to help me. I went back yesterday to pick up my brand new JBL ear phones. They replaced the damaged ones for the new ones. Thank you so much Daniel and Denzel!!! You guys are both awesome!!! The manager at the Source in City Centre Mall, Chirag, could learn a lot from you both. The customer service is terrible at this Source!!!

These people are amazing!!! I had the pleasure of walking in here after inquiring about my bill at Freedom. Within the next hour - I gained another 30gb, the S23 Ultra, and slashed $20 off my plan...walked out with the latest JBL headphones and.... Was connected to an amazing person providing Genuine suggestions on internet solutions that combined has saved me over $800 upfront and brought down my month expenses another $10. The people here are all genuine and looking to make you walk away with the best possible deal as they comprehend that you work hard. There was a gentleman I met in there who says he comes monthly as he loses his phone all the time...just for the love he receives from this staff. The owner here treats his staff amazingly. Manager Kewal went above and beyond to get me as many exclusive deals as possible and even going to the owner to see how much more he could offer me. The kind person who helped me was Sarabjeet. With the short time I spent with him, I had at least 10 people enter the store and speak magnitudes of Sarabjeet's attitude, love and compassion towards customers along with their time and money. I will always recommend this place should you be in the downtown core. I look forward to doing business with them again!

I went to this Source last week simply to switch my existing phone number to a new SIM card. I told this to the girl who approached me and immediately she started insisting that she was going to give me a new plan with a new service provider, because it was a “better deal”. (I’m with Lucky mobile and she was trying to force me to go with Virgin). I continued to say no over and over and that all I wanted was for my number to be switched to a new SIM card. Again she persisted that she was going to switch my phone number to a new service provider. After about 10 minutes of going back and fourth she finally took no for an answer and went completely quiet towards me which was completely unprofessional. I also explained to her that I had class soon but because of her not doing what I asked from the beginning I missed my class due to how late I was. She essentially was telling me that I had to switch providers and that what I wanted to do wasn’t an option (which it was and it only took 20 seconds to do). I’ve never experienced customer service that was so pushy and unprofessional in my life. She never asked if I wanted to switch providers, she said I had to, which was a lie.

Don’t go here, bought a ps5 and the controller was broken, it wouldn’t connect or hold a charge. Brought it back in less then thirty days and was told they could replace the controller because it had been less then thirty days and just bring my receipt when I came in, when I got there they took one look at me and the guy who told me they could replace it and basically bullied the other employee in front of me stating that he wrong and going off on him all the while giving me attitude about the warranty, while trying to slyly pocket my receipt and telling me I had to go through Sony to get warranty in a very rude and condescending manner. So I turned around and left where I went to Kingsway, with my receipt and they had no problem replacing my controller. Very rude customer service and lack of problem solving skills. Did not appreciate this encounter take your business else’s where to avoid being told one thing and then having them change their mind once you get there. It even says on the source website that you have three month of warranty after purchase, so I’m not sure what the problem is here at this source.

Shouts out to Sarabjeet! He went above and beyond in customer service. He helped me get a new plan for my wife and a new cellphone. I saved around $740 dollars on a new Samsung S23. On top of that he gave me a really good discount for screen protector, nice case, extra cable charging and the charging block that is not included in the new cellphones anymore. Sarabjeet really explained everything with detail and he even offered to help me do the port over the phone after working hours since my wife was not present at the moment. He helped me on his own time and I really appreciate that gesture. Totally recommend to visit this store to get good deals.

The Source is your source for cell phones, head phones, ear buds, computers, flat screen televisions and other electronic devices. It’s all candy to the eyes. The store is well lit and clean. Staff is friendly and courteous and knowledgeable. This location is inside the Edmonton City Centre Mall. I tend to think that prices are somewhat high but it’s all brand names on the products they sell so that comes with a price. Anyways it’s a nice place and pleasant to visit.

This store is the place for your cell phones, ear buds, laptops, head phones, computers and other electronic devices located inside the Edmonton City Centre mall. Although I think the products were a bit pricey, however, the store is clean and well lit. Staffs are very friendly and courteous and helpful.
