CAUTION, please read through. Troy Veterinary Services works with Perry Ahlgrimm of Command Control Protection Dogs; in doing so they were complicit to the mistreatment and abuse of my dog. The medical documentation provided by Troy Veterinary services showed all shots up to date and a clean dental record when I received my dog from Perry Ahlgrimm of Command Control Protection dogs (dba CCPD, CCK9) located in 21641 Dixie Road Wainfleet, L0s 1VO. However, the medical documentation was false; my dog had a dental disease which our vet in the US informed us about. The dog had seven teeth removed, to include a front K9. Thus, disqualifying the dog from certain service work. Perry Ahlgrimm of Command Control Protection Dogs does bite work (exercises which the dog is expected to bite hard and keep the bite for a long period until commanded to let go) with his animal; while my dog had bad dental he made her do a demonstration for me. My vet in the US advised that such work was painful for the dog. It created a great deal of anxiety and thus she further filed down her teeth. Needless to say, I am reporting both Perry and this business to entities which can deal with them accordingly. If there is any justice in the universe, something will come of it. Troy Veterniary Services, Inc and Command Control Protection Dogs work in unison; therefore the legal liability must fall on either company. Either way, in a capitalist market, it is a deceitful thing to manufacturer false papework as it is fraud to the max; what really I want to point out is that this vet should have marked the dental issues and in not doing so participated in the animals mistreatment and abuse. It is to my understanding this vet service goes to his puppy mill in Wainfleet; therefore they were fully aware, since my dog had a litter, that she was being fed live chickens and raw meat which exacerbated her pain. It is truly upsetting vets like this exist and that money is their ruling modus operandi rather than the welfare of animals.

I could not be happier with this veterinary team and the care my dogs receive from this place!!! They are everything you need and more! Flexible and accommodating when it comes to booking, including if you have an emergency or just a pet parent scare (I’ve had both), endless information in regards to your animals health regardless if it’s going make them money or not (pros vs cons when it comes to spay/neuter) and such a friendly and welcoming staff from the receptionists to the vet techs and the veterinarians!! They have an amazing puppy plan that saves you a decent amount of money if you have a new fur baby that pretty much covers everything you need for the first year. Honestly switching to this place over my mainstream corporate spot was the best decision I ever made for both my dogs!! I will be a client for life and if you are out here doing research to find a new vet take this as your sign, you won’t be disappointed!!

Exceptional animal hospital. My experience with Dr. Kourtney and the staff at Troy Animal Hospital comes second to none. From the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave the staff is kind and attentive. Finally an animal practice where they take the time to discuss things with you and get to know your pet. I highly recommend Troy Animal Hospital.

Amazing emergency service from Dr. Carly. She spent around 5+ hours cleaning and stitching a major fence accident my lease horse had. She did the best job stitching it and it was a huge job. I am so thankful for the amazing job she did. Great work and very knowledgeable.

Great place to take your animals ! Friendly staff made the visit very enjoyable and the prices are very reasonable ! Nice change from Stone Church Animal Clinic who's vet ( Dr Ervin Harxhi) was very rude and condescending toward us !! Troy Vets are real nice people !!

Perfect service. Ive been taking my senior jack russell there for years. They first saved her life when she had a tumour inside her. And now whatever problem she encounters they always have a fix for her. I 100% would recommend this vet to anyone. Paula is the best!
