Suddenly on a Friday, several weeks ago, I heard a bang in one of our bathrooms. I ran to see what had happened. Water was everywhere! I immediately shout off the water flow via the value and ran to another bathroom. Same thing was happening so I turned off that off as well. I didn't know what to do! I then tried to run water from our kitchen sink and it was spitting everywhere with a terrible loud noise. Not knowing who to call, I called a family member and they referred me to Ward's Water Pumping. So I called. Thinking that I was going to get hosed with $$$ on an emergency call, your not going to believe what happened next. I shared with the owner my situation and he immediately said this was a problem with the City. Since I was only getting air from my taps, the City perhaps was doing work somewhere in our area and this issue needed to be solved by them. It wasn't a problem inside. Sure enough, that was the solution. The problem got resolved 6 hours later and I am so grateful for Ward's Plumbing service. He could have very easily came and charged me an emergency service call charge but instead he helped me immediately by phone for FREE. Ward's plumbing service is highly recommended by me and my husband. They are truly a company I would trust in future for my plumbing needs knowing that we would not get ripped off. Great job!!! It is with great appreciation for this company that our family would like to say Thank You. On Thanksgiving Sunday 2021-our water stopped working, My husband started looking into areas that he felt may be the problem, with no solution in site. On holiday Monday, Doug called Richard, and within one hour, he was at our house, on a Holiday, he assessed the problem, and fixed it immediately. (problem was the pump in our Well) We would highly recommend this company, very friendly, professional. We couldn't be any happier. Wards installed 3 frost free outdoor faucets for us. Two failed after the first 2 years and had to be replaced, at our cost. The third one froze and split this year (see picture) and flooded our basement. Ward's wouldn't do anything - just asked a bunch of questions trying to deflect blame. I'll certainly never do business with them again. Edit: I see Wards has posted a reply to this review. While I appreciate that, it would have been much better to offer this assistance when I initially contacted them about the problem rather than try to deflect blame. I had the problem fixed by a different plumber.

We have been using Ward’s services for six years now. Honestly do not look elsewhere. You will not be disappointed in the pricing and the service. Can’t thank them enough. They are extremely reasonable with their prices and they are very professional. I have no gain from this review. They have just been amazing every time we have had to call. I called them again today in a huge pinch and they came within a quick timeframe and they took care of things again! Great people and a great company. Refreshing considering the amount of bad companies out there. :))

We called Ward's Water Pump & Plumbing on a Saturday when mom discovered a leak in her basement from a cracked PVC emptying waste water into her septic system. The owner (Richard) responded to our call in less than 90 minutes. We made arrangements for the next morning and he arrived on time, was as courteous as anyone could possibly want, and had the repair done in 3 hours. Mom gladly paid the weekend premium rate (around $100/hour) vs. the weekday rate (around $70/hour). Highly recommend. Will definitely use Ward's again.

One call to Ward's Water Pumps and Plumbing was all it took to solve our well pump problem. Within 30 minutes of emailing them, Richard had called us and was on our farm replacing a faulty part. We were knocked out by this level of service, and Richard was a pleasure to deal with. We have lived in the Flamborough area for 20 years and know the value of high quality local service, provided at a very fair price. We will be sure to be using Richard's Services again for all our plumbing needs.

I desperately needed a plumber for an inspection on a property I was purchasing and Richard was the only one to pick up the phone late on a Thursday. He was also able to fit me in the following day and showed up right on time. Not only this, he diagnosed an issue in 30 seconds that had eluded another company for 2 weeks. I was very pleased with the entire interaction and will be asking Richard to come back and fix the issue once I take possession of my new home. Thank you!

My sump pump decided to give up between Xmas and New Years. I called Wards plumbing they came the same day I called. Excellent service very polite and extremely helpful. They tested my battery back up pump and found the battery was low, he showed me how to charge it to see if it would work, before selling me a new one. Most places would of just sold me a new one. Reasonable pricing, I would never choose anyone else ever. I highly recommend this company.

Called Richard on Sat morning of a long weekend - no water! Within an hour he called back and showed up shortly after that. Need a new water pump. Got us going for the rest of the weekend and showed up Monday with a new pump. In and out iand running again n three hours tops. Very professional and good value. Thanks for the response!

Called for service and left a voicemail. No response. Called one week later and left another voicemail. No response. Called 4 days after that and the phone number no longer subscribes to voicemail. Why indicate on their website "call us anytime" . I guess you can call anytime but no guarantee they will return your call

I used Richard Ward to replace my main water shutoff valve. He was prompt in answering or returning phonecalls, showed up on time when he said he would, was courteous, efficient, charged me less than initially quoted, and worked with the city guy so that my city shutoff charge was reduced as well. - Mike Bell

Very friendly, but could not solve all of our rural water/pump/plumbing issues. We had multiple things going on. When I asked about our water system they said they didn’t service our brand of equipment and that they didn’t have time to look at it before going to their next call.
