Can't remember who I just spoke to but she made me feel really frustrated and upset. A few weeks ago I came off of antidepressants and initially felt very few withdrawal symptoms then fin for a few weeks but in the last week they all came down at once and I've felt really unwell because of it. I was told by my GP if I do react badly to call but because of their wait times for appointments I decided to just go straight to the pharmacist and ask for anything to help alleviate the symptoms. She was initially nice and asked a few questions then suddenly came back sounding annoyed and impatient and told me that what I'm feeling is normal, nothing they could do and very suddenly hung up. If there's no over the counter medication to help ease the symptoms fine.. but to sound so impatient and annoyed at me for even asking and then hanging up so quickly is ridiculously rude. They and the health centre receptionists are really terrible at customer service and should be trained or replaced. It really makes me feel so reluctant and anxious to ever go to them for help when that's what they're there for!
All the staff who work here are very friendly and it gets very busy at certain points throughout the day. What lets everyone down it seems is the computer systems, the ordering process and the communication between the surgery and the pharmacy. I have very rarely been able to walk in and pick up my prescription straight away even when i have had a set monthly date, i have put in requests at the surgery that have never made it to the pharmacy. Not that it affects me but the card payment machine breaks often it seems. Things are just getting a bit much because people need certain medications on time and this is happening nearly every time i order/collect. Sometimes customers get frustrated (i have never vocalised mine especially not in an aggressive manner but i have heard others be quite vocal) and i sympathise with the staff who do try hard and are under a lot of pressure. This place would run great if more was done to find out the root cause of these problems.
Completely understand the pressure they are under at the moment, however, their service has been absolutely appalling. My REPEAT prescription was confirmed by DR & Pharmacy, I went to collect only to be told it had been discontinued. They advised they would find an alternative for me and after three days, they still hadn't sorted this out and I was left without my prescribed NEEDED medication. I was then called by a Doctor to advise he would confirm the alternative medication and left for the weekend. Following the weekend, I called to see if my prescription was there and it hadn't even been ordered. Really poor service and had I not called this pharmacy to check and chase, it would've taken even longer. Will be moving Dr's.
We moved here and was in need of someone who could fill up a dosette box for 2 people. I rang around with no joy. I then approached this pharmacy who took my husband and I on for our repeat dosette boxes even though they are a busy pharmacy. We have been treated with kindness - always. Very friendly staff and have a can do attitude. Pharmacist is very nice to speak to and will go to great lengths to explain new medications in great detail. We go to this pharmacy regularly every week to collect our medications and we have always been treated with kindness, respect and decency. We haven’t had a problem with them so far. I Would definitely recommend this pharmacy.
I’d say it's one of the worst pharmacies in Bristol and the staff are so rude. The staff doesn’t have any good customer service skills and needs to learn how to talk with any customer from different background in a polite manner. A woman I dealt with couldn’t be ruder. Also, I’d add that they are selectively polite and nice. A person who was in front of me was served by a young person in a very lovely manner and he explained his medication. But that woman in glasses was so so rude to me,I left in stress. She didn’t even apologise. It is not that place where you expecting to get a portion of disrespect and stress! Terrible experience.
Waited almost an hour to get out of here, first 20 minutes waiting to be served had people complaining about the fact things were not in so it took a while. Had an electronic barcode and read it and said it was okay. No context from then and then Pete who appears to be the only person working there who makes things work went and found it and one of the items was not in stock. Not impressed, it seems to always have a queue and it seems the reason for that is bad/not following processes. Luckily not my local pharmacy
absolutely lovely atmosphere.like stepping back in time when you are a part of something.you step in and everybody says hello with a warm embrace of your name.they are busy like a finely tuned beehive at times.Very busy due to their popularity.Pete the head pharmacist is the kindest most empathetic and knowledgeable man.All staff are just so fabulous they all work under great pressure and still keep their hearts on their sleeves.they are first class.God bless them. Even when the place is empty and they say they’ll sort out your prescription “now” yet it’s still a 45 minute wait! I don’t know if it’s poor organisational skills, they don’t prioritise those actually in the building waiting or what is going on, but it’s not good enough! Most people are very unwell or elderly who go there so maybe they should give you a time it’ll be ready so you can wait somewhere less depressing or maybe they need to get more /efficient staff.
bunch of a-holes! always others' bad "that's not our responsibilities or faults" or "the other staff said not me" pretend to be polite or friendly but actually hypocrites all the time. never admit their own faults or management failure, tend to say you can " blame NHS or report to head office" staff working there never last long really just taking the advantage of Horfield medical centre proximity
A lovely warming place. The nurse, Charlotte, who gave me my jabs was so lovely and cheerful, and had a great laugh with me also! I then booked my appointment over the phone as covid restrictions are in place and the receptionist Gemma was more than happy to help with all of my enquiries. This is a lovely step up from when I last visited and had a bad experience! All props to them!
Very busy pharmacy serving a large area. After being in this pharmacy and listening to some of the customers talk to the staff I am surprised that they are able to staff it. The staff are being sworn to and being treated very rudely. The staff are ther to help people but people need to be patient as the pharmacy has so many prescription to prosses .
Pete was amazing and very nice. But a woman phoned to rearrange a second appointment (cancelled by them) and she couldn’t be more rude. She didn’t even apologise. They should understand we all have commitments and to have to reschedule an appointment for the second time is not easy.
Was issued incorrect drug by pharmacy. I Called GP who sorted and prescribed correct medication. Have been calling pharmacy for 2.5 hours on repeat the call goes through and rings out it seems to be answered and then gets cut off. This is not a good customer service experience.
Terrible terrible pharmacy, always wrong with prescriptions and always missing items. Rude staff. Apart from Amy. Words are too small to prescribe this branch. Unorganized, rude and totally unacceptable people. I am so sorry that we have to deal with them.
Never answer the phone, there is always five or six people in there. Only one or two work the counter. Whilst half the time the others mess around chatting and telling about customers and sometimes taking the mick out of them. Only good person is Pete.
Brilliant service, extremely polite considering they are always constantly busy. Went in today and their computers were down, yet still went out of their way to find my prescription as I wasn't able to return later. Best pharmacy I have ever used!
Honestly the best pharmacy I have ever used- staff go above and beyond and are so helpful and kind when you or someone you care about are feeling ill and stressed. The pharmacist Pete is probably the nicest man in chemistry.

Been in a few times having lived in Bristol for about 18 months now and never been more pleased with the service I receive here on a regular basis. Even when it’s busy the staff are so friendly and lovely.
A very very busy pharmacy that desperately needs expanding into next door but lovely helpful staff who try there best to fulfill all customers needs. A fantastic team who are up against it!
It is a busy pharmacy covering a large number of people, however the team obviously work very hard and are generally very quick and efficient, and always pleasant to deal with.
However it is located next to a HEALH CENTRE , it is like the medicine section in any supermarket. Not for "special" demand..like a simply mucous membrane disinfectant.
Staff are always unfailingly polite and helpful . Prescriptions are always delivered quickly despite business of pharmacy . Best in local are for sure x

Impossible to get hold of on the phone. It hangs up after two minutes, no hold or phone queue so you just have to keep ringing.
Pete is amazing when they didn’t have stock of my baby’s prescription formula he went above and beyond to locate some for her
