This was the most awful experience with a cremation "service" I could imagine. There was NO service here. My grandparents set up plans with this company several months ago. Today (Saturday), the hospice nurse and my grandmother were told this company would be unable to pick up my grandfather until MONDAY. When asked why, the first excuse to come out was the winter storm experienced this past week - but that is not a valid excuse given the roads have been cleared. Only THEN did they proceed to say their storage was full. When asked what we should do, they told us we should try contacting a different funeral home but refused to recommend any or contact any themselves to check around. The best they could do is "sorry". There is no excuse for their lack of accommodation in this situation. We promptly removed my grandmother from their registration as we will not be using this company in the future. We will be actively recommending our friends and family avoid this company due to such poor integrity. UPDATE: Thank you to the owner for responding. HOWEVER, it was not only your lack of transparency but the fact your business was unwilling to provide any solutions other than "call another funeral home." What I don't understand is how that's not YOUR job. How is it not YOUR job to ask around to see who else has room? And as for your comment about how my grandparents had "only registered" and hadn't paid or made full cremation arrangements, 1) that shouldn't have stopped you from helping us find alternative and 2) they didn't want to pay in advance, but they gave you their credit card number to have on file and the established plan was for you to make the charge after you came to pick either of them up. There was very well a plan. So maybe you didn't have a legal obligation to do anything since no money had yet been exchanged, but let me be clear that you DID have a moral obligation. So yes, I am upset. I am angry. You could have done more, and you failed to. You caused my family grief at the worst time in our lives, exactly as you said. That's why my grandparents had made plans with you in the first place, to avoid having to worry about finding a funeral home when the time came, and you didn't offer ANYTHING to help when you couldn't do the job yourself. I encourage you to learn from this and, in the future, I hope any family that finds themselves in the same situation is provided with solid alternatives (for example, "we called funeral homes x, y, and z, and x and z both have space and the ability to perform the services we aren't currently able to provide"). Do better. Be better.

One of the most horrible experiences I've had. We thought we had everything setup for the cremation and the hospice place did not follow through. However, I was the power of attorney and executor for the deceased. I gave them all pertinent information over the phone and they insisted on payment before they came out (which is understandable) I told them who I was, and they asked if there was any next of kin to which I said yes, he has two kids that he hasn't spoken to for ten years. They insisted on speaking with one of them and getting them both to sign to have him cremated even though I informed them that would be difficult at best and with the will and POA I should be noted as the contact on record not one of the sons. We were then told that it could take a couple of weeks to cremate the body, however, if we were willing to pony up $295 dollars they would move him to the front of the line... Everything we needed to get done they had to talk with the son, even though he wasn't involved in his dad's life and I have all the legal rights. They were completely rude every time we called, whether it was me or his sister who cared for him 24/7 until he died. A place like this should have compassion and understanding, not just tell us how we screwed up because we didn't get the deceased to fill out a form that we didn't even know existed. They sure didn't mind talking with me to get payment though. I would not recommend them to anyone. When a loved one passes the last thing, you want to deal with is some desk jockey with an attitude.

I lost my father in July, on top of dealing with this sudden loss. We also had to deal with the fact there were no plans set in place and no insurance to cover any costs. It was devastating to say the least. We knew right away with low funds and covid-19, that we were looking into cremation. We got online and started checking prices and felt defeated. We were looking into a simple, "plain" cremation, no service, and still the prices were insane. My sister-in law is a RN and contacted us to tell us about acremation. I called right away and was met with such a soft spoken and caring person. It was indeed hard for me to speak in that moment and she was nothing but patient. I felt comforted, although it was not in person and I did not know this person. Once all the arrangements were made, I was told they would keep in contact via email each step of the way, and I was. I was notified as each step was complete. Once the day came to pick up his ashes, I was a mess all over again and the gentleman that brought him out was nothing but nice and made sure I would be ok. Even told me he would pray for my family and I. I am crying as I write this, remembering that day, but I am filled with comfort in remembering how nice everyone was throughout the whole process.

I explained everything to the lady on the phone and she just took everything out of my hands so that I could grieve and deal with things in the home and family. All I had to do was make a payment over the phone give some information and sign email documents. When the ashes were ready I was notified by email and a phone call. The ashes came in a nice box that didn't make me feel like my mom's death was not taken to heart. They even offered to carry the ashes to my car. Because of the support and ease of using Acremation I was stress free and held myself together very well and was strong for the rest of the family. Thank you all again you were truly a blessing in time of need.

The lady at acremation was outstanding! She was low-key, extremely kind and was reassuring at our time of loss. I couldn't have asked for one better for both my wife and myself during our grieving. The loss of our son was unexpected, untimely, traumatic and very painful. He was born after his sister, who had passed preceding his birth. He filled the vacancy of her loss for so many years and brought us both so much joy. Lance had a loving heart and was deserving of the dignity in death provided by the team at acremation. They made the process less painful and helped us more than they might realize. Thank you for the beautiful Urn that we memorialize our son in our home. He is in his room surrounded by artifacts that represent his life with us, his joys and all of the memories he provided us. Thank You so very much for your gentle assistance with our son Lance.

Thank you!! Very pleased with the service and price!! The woman I spoke with on the phone was professional and very kind as well as the staff when I picked up his cre-mains. My loved one and I had a difficult relationship and he was ill for a long time and in a nursing home for nearly 4 years, so by the time of his passing I was all business and was on a tight budget since he left me with nothing. I am a bottom line kind of gal and needed the information quick and to the point and that's what I was given and with a great price! My only suggestion is to have the directions for the pick up location be more clear - Yes the address was given but I didn't realize it was in a strip center not facing the main road so it took a couple of extra minutes to find the store front. Thank you again for supplying an affordable and needed service!

They were very professional and caring. They did not give me the run around. They answered their phone and responded back to my phone calls and emails. That is the reason for me going with them instead of other funeral homes. No other company responded see back to me and when they did, they were rude and disrespectful. I paid for almost everything out of my pocket except for 400. I explained my situation and they were honest and upfront with me. What they said they were going to do they did. My mom was my heart and friend so to leave here in the care of JUST anyone was not going to happen. I cared for her in Life and in Death. And for that I thank aCremation for caring for her in Death. All around I can say that they were a place that gave my mother what she wanted for her final wishes.

I found acremation last year after my 57 year old father passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Unfortunately, my father did not have life insurance so we were very relieved to find that the prices were affordable. That alone made the entire experience just a little bit less stressful. There were no surprise fees and the person on the phone was compassionate. The best part for me was that you are able to correspond and sign documents via email. This made everything much simpler. The ladies at the office were extremely sweet and compassionate when I picked up the ashes. So, when my mother suddenly passed away last month from complications of pneumonia there was no question on who would handle her cremation. Thank you acremation!

My experience with aCremation was Very Good actually Excellent. Both my mother and my father were attended by aCremation for their final directives. The directors who picked them up were truly respectful and caring individuals. My mother passed a year before my father. That was our first experience with ACremation. We were so very pleased with their service that my father wished for them to take care of him when its his time. My fathers body was draped in a American Flag as he was taken from his Assisted Living Center as he was a veteran. He didn't request a draped flag. That was totally unexpected and much appreciated! I would highly recommend aCremation to anyone and I plan to use them when my turn comes.

My mother was ill for several months before she passed in February of this year. I had contacted aCremation through their website and arranged for her care before she passed. It was all done online and I was given a quote minutes later on what the cost would be. Once she passed, I contacted them and they honored the quote even through it was months afterwards. They were very caring and compassionate when speaking to them on the phone. They answered all my questions and followed up with emails. I picked up remains were picked up about 3 1/2 weeks later. They gave me may different types of options on urns too. I was very satisfied with their service and would recommend them.

This was easy to set up prior to needing their services, and easy to implement once their services were needed. One phone call and the rest was handled. It made it very easy on the family plus the company was accustom to working with the local hospice services and personnel. Remains and death certs were available about 1-1.5 weeks later as promised. There was good email communication when needed such as proofing the death cert prior to issuing. There was a correction needed so being able to view it first was a tremendous help. I would recommend acremation if their services meets your desired need at a cost much less than going the traditional route.

I would love to thank Bili, she was so kind and very helpful during a difficult time. She was great even when the hospital delivered my loved one and didn't notify anyone. She was very quick to find him and even accommodated my unusual request to see a picture of him to verify they had the right person. I can't thank her enough. Then the office staff were so nice on the day of pick up and went above and beyond to help me. Even when we went to the wrong location, they stayed after close to help me. I was unfamiliar with Dallas and how the traffic would be. I hope not to need their services again soon, but I would recommend them to anyone.

I found the follow up care from aCremation to be very lacking. The gentlemen that picked up my Mom's body were very kind and helpful - as well as very timely. After her body was in their care, I emailed our "contact" several times with questions - about the obituary, about signing forms, etc. - and never once did I receive a reply. It was as if once they received the money, they went offline. I wished that I would have chosen a company that offered support when it is needed most... in the days following death.

I was fortunate to have found them for my father in early 2017 and then when my mom passed earlier this year, I called on them again for their caring, compassionate support during this very tough time. aCremation was very easy to work with. They answer their phone 24 hours a day and my loved one passed during the night. They talked with the health professionals and after the death certificate was signed by the health professional they set up a time to collect my loved one. They treated my loved one with respect and care when they came to transport the body. They were caring and professional throughout the process. I would definitely recommend aCremation.

My 41 yo son died recently from alcohol drinking(liver) and we found aCremation here in Dallas.They took care of all the technicalities (there are a lot) from the hospital to the death certificates. I must also add there prices were great especially when we didn't know where and when to turn. I hope I never need them again but I would call them again if the need arose.

Dealing with the death of a loved one is awful, but aCremation makes at least the cremation/death certificate part easy and fairly priced. They got everything done quickly and were communicative without being bothersome. They do not try to convince you to buy anything other than what you are looking to buy.
