Weird that all the bad reviews are at the bottom eh? and that there are so many 5 star reviews with no explanation. Sadly this place's charm worked on me, and now I'm highly regretting it. I'm trying to do everything I can to get out now because they've sneakily raised the rent so much in a short amount of time. To boot, my space has a 2ftx2ft air duct taking up an entire column in my 10ftx10ft space, and they didn't offer any discount. I've tried to call them about it in the past and they don't return voicemails, and their phone service is very "you'll have to take it up with the manager"-esk. So it goes nowhere. They are use to customers complaining about rate increases I'll bet. They do in fact raise their rent without notice. You will see multiple reviews, at the bottom, that reinforce that. By the sounds of it you are at their mercy, especially when you came to them because you needed the space, right? They cleverly don't advertise their rates online, because their long term customers get rate increases, so they don't want them to see that new customers get it way cheaper. The price they sold me on, has gone up 15% in a year And just watch; they'll respond to this with a "we'll take your concerns up with management to better our services" and I don't think that really means anything They run a smart business for making money, I'll give them that. I guess I was hoping I didn't need to worry about my stuff in storage when I was already paying a premium, but now I am worried it will get more and more expensive unchecked EDIT: still no word from management/"leadership"

I originally entered all my info into the contact form online and asked to be contacted by email. I received a phone call instead which interrupted a meeting I was in. (this is why I asked to be emailed) I went in to the storefront and got registered for a "ground level" locker which is technically on the 2nd floor but since there is no elevator it's considered "ground". I think that's a bit misleading. We went to fill our locker and we noticed there was a green tag "locking" the latch. No one mentioned we could just pull it off to remove it, but it was easily remedied after a phone call. (Thankfully we were there during business hours). The staff was all very helpful and we are glad to have the ability to create some space at home and put some of our belongings into storage. The procedure to close the locker and our account was very simple. I sent an email and they gave me all instructions and a confirmation. I would use them again.

When you are in "between houses" and it is already frustrating enough, the only thing you don't need is, more frustration about the storage you might need!!! Well, in our case, we didn't just get lucky, with our storage unit, but, we would NEVER imagine it would be such a smooth part of our whole "moving houses" thing!! To start with, the people at Access Storage here in Burlington, are awesome!!! Very helpful, understanding and kind! They really make you feel that, they are there to take the "load" of worrying about storage, off our mind. And, to top it up, they gave us a GREAT deal! When it comes to the actual storage unit itself, it is a very clean, well protected and maintained heated space!!! Highly recommended!!!

This was my first time renting a storage locker and Kristen and Rebecca made the entire process extremely easy and stress-free! The customer service I received was exceptional from start to finish - Kristen and Rebecca were very kind, friendly, attentive, and answered all my questions. The team at this Access Storage location truly goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of. I also received a phone call during my stay that my lock was not latched properly and really appreciated that the team is doing checks to ensure everyone’s units and property are secure! The unit itself was heated and clean. I cannot say enough good things about my experience here - thank you!

When I needed to put my entire house belongings into storage I was not familiar with the process. I checked out a few places but Access Storage on Fairview was the best fit for me. The customer service was amazing they took the time to explain the process and set me up with the perfect sized unit for my needs. The facility is organized , safe and well maintained. The units are clean and the size is just right . I feel like my belongings are safe in my unit and I have easy access to items if I need something. I have never rented a storage unit before but I am so glad I went with Access Storage! From our initial booking over the phone to the tour with Rebecca we received utmost professionalism and excellent customer service. Rebecca and Kaitlyn were extremely friendly and welcoming. The facility is spotless, well air conditioned, and organized. We are so pleased with our experience and glad we went with Access Storage. Used them for storage back in 2010 and used their free van as well. For the last 3-4 years I have been purchasing supplies from them for my organizing/move management business. I also have clients who use them as well and are happy. The staff are always friendly. Update: I have now started renting units to hold clients belongings I am selling and one of my clients has some units there that we are sorting out. Always clean and cool (great in the summer). Kristen and Todd are very friendly and I look forward to growing my business (Clutter Relief Services) and helping theirs at the same time.

Although this is a very clean, easily accessible with friendly staff there price increases are a rip off. I took a storage unit here at one price then I would say 3 months later I received a notice my rental rate was being raised by over $100 month. When I confronted front desk about the increase I was told they are entitled to raise the rent when ever they desire but ultimately it comes from head office. I would definitely think twice about renting here. I recently moved out because of the rent increase nonsense to a similar size unit and am saving over $150 a month. Beware of this place.

They continue to raise your rent more than once each year. It has more than doubled for us in the past 5 years. Both emails I sent in regard to the most recent increase were ignored. When I phoned, I was spoken to in a not so professional tone. They basically said it's like renting an apartment, rent goes up, deal with it. No apartment I know of goes up by double the price. They want to charge me even more money than a new tenant would pay. Nice way to treat your long term loyal customers. Will see how they respond, then will decide if I will continue to give them my business.

I recently changed storage facilities because I moved to a different city, but I would never have left otherwise! I rented a locker here for work purposes. The staff were so friendly and very prompt at getting back to me when I had questions or concerns over the course of the year and a half that I rented here. There were a few blips along the way with package deliveries (that came weekly or more!), but the staff were always on the ball and ensured I received the product I needed. Thank you Kristen and Ede! :)

I needed to rent a storage unit and went to Access Storage. The sales rep... Ravindoo was beyond kind. He showed me different size units and throughly explained the facility and rental process. Very clean and organized. The inside of the facility is organized by street names so my unit is easy to find. It is 24hr access and there is a convenient ramp for my car to the second floor. There is also carts to help me bring my belongings to and from my unit. First month was free. Would use again.

Kristen gave us an amazing experience at your Faurview location in Burlington. We showed up right at closing (didn't mean to)! And instead of telling us too bad we are closed, she walked us right in and went through all the paperwork with us throughly, sold us a lock, and answered all of our questions with a smile. We really really appreciated her patience with us, especially.foe being late. Because of Kristen, I would recommend the location to anyone looking.

I've been using this location for work (The Burlington Sound of Music Festival) fore three years now and have been more than happy with how it's been! The units are big, bright and clean. Access is always easy, yet secure and the staff have been excellent in helping me out with anything I need. Access Storage has been a great community partner to the festival and a valuable resource for all of our storage needs! I would highly recommend this location!

Great customer service. Storage unit was easy to set up with easy to follow instructions for accessing unit. Only problem I had was unit had a lock on it when I arrived to move my belongings in. There was supposed to be a green tag that just tears off but that wasn't the case. Unit then had to be cleaned once they got the lock off. Would have given a 5 star rating if unit was actually ready when it was supposed to be.

im mind boggled as to why this is the only storage company that has a user friendly website. if you need to know prices, sizes, and availability its all right there. the other company's have their info in an obscure manner? The girl at the counter in the Burlington store saw that i was in a distressed manner and babied me along the right path to choosing only what i needed. i wouldn't think of using another company

As a local charity (Compassion Society of Halton) using Access storage, we have been loyal customers for over 10 years and we have always found them an amazing team and place to store all the overflow of the charity's things. The staff are friendly and professional, the storage spaces are clean and very nicely maintained and access is always convenient. Highly recommended and very satisfied as customers with them.

I needed storage for my vehicle while visiting a family member for an extended visit. I spoke with both Kristen & Rebecca while they looked into the best availability for MY needs. A great place to store your things. I had an internal unit, which is temperature and humidity controlled. Never had any problems with with anything. Items remained there secured and clean (very little to no dust). Easy access, plenty of parking and dollies are always available. Great management and support staff - flexible and understanding. Highly recommended if you are looking for a storage locker.

Spoke with Chantal. Very helpful and gave me all of the information up front. I need a locker to store my house while in between closing dates. They were flexible with my dates, and were able to honour a locker availability that I need two weeks from now, even though it is flagged as immediate occupancy. I hope the rest of this process will be a seamless as today!!

Person running the facility, Kristen, was exceptionally helpful. She did not need any help from anyone regarding there procedures and computer system. She had the answer to all my questions. Her answers were clear and easy to understand. Move in day was exceptionally hot day and the cold water offered to me and the people helping me was truly appreciated

Access Storage Burlington was a great place for me to store my stuff when I was inbetween places to live. They were very clean, well organized and extremely friendly and do go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable with the facility. Which meant a lot to me being female. I would 10/10 recommend this place for people to use.

I dealt with Sidnney and Keyanna at Fairview location. They were both extremely helpful, set me up with new storage unit within minutes. I was able to rent a van which helped me to move my stuff efficiently. Storage is conveniently located near major streets and has units with access from outside and located inside (climatized). Highly recommend Access Storage. Units are clean and well maintained. Todd (site manager I believe) was quick and handled everything quickly for me as I made changes while moving in to our unit. I highly recommend this place, best part about it is that there is a ramp to the second floor units therefore your vehicle can go right up and unload.

Clean Facilities...A little pricey compared to the units i rent in Toronto. Even after showing I had a insurance policy covering my contents they started adding additional insurance charges to my preauthorized payments without my knowledge or consent. Still trying to get reimbursed 6 months later! Managers do not return calls either

We began storing the contents of our "home" at Access in early 2013. Customer service is always exceptional. Space available was to our requirements. Our cost has increased over a 10 year period to more than three times the original cost per month. That's tremendous for working people and our only criticism of the experience.
