We live nearby and have two wee ones so love the trails and the little playground. It's also nice to kayak up goodbys to get to the kayak launch they have here. Huge grass fields for games and nice covered picnic tables. Two stars off for the nasty, scary someone-probably-died-in-them restrooms. We've been coming for years and these are terrifying. No lights, no mirrors, no maintenance, mold up the walls and ceiling - definitely straight out of a horror flick. Don't know how maintenance can ignore this aspect so badly, come on COJ ranger dude who lives there that's like your one job in life

I really enjoy this park. Located near the tail end of Goodby’s Creek there are well maintained trails that showcase the natural beauty of the area. It’s a fun easy hike with kids or dogs. The playground is simple and gives the kids something to do before or after the walk. Bathrooms, water fountains and a pavilion are available plus a large field for sports. All together a great park to visit. Only downside is the mosquito presence can be strong during the middle of summer since you are along the creek. Note: the park is at the dead end of San Ardo Rd.

Wonderful little park and nature area tucked inside of a neighborhood. Fun little playground with benches nearby public Fitness tables bathrooms and a beautiful nature trail. BBB
Playground
A couple different things for kids to do including a large climbing spider web thing swings and different size equipment for different ages.n
Restrooms
Not super clean and no soap I try to keep liquid hand soap in my trunk for places like this.
Picnic area
Nice area with a few tables covered.

The park is small and cute, but offers a lot. It has a playground, covered picnic tables, bbq, working restroom, water bottle refill station, kayak launch, walking trails and a huge field. I'm just not fond about, how some of the walking trails lead to people's backyards.
Playground
Swings and a jungle gym.
Restrooms
Usable, stocked.
Dog-friendliness
Allowed while leashed. Dog post with bags.
Picnic area
One, huge covered picnic area with at least eight tables.

It is a beautiful park playground, with lights, and a BIG open field, but around 9 PM or so the cops showed up to bust me and a friend for "trespassing" which disrupted the experience of our enjoyable conversation but that didn't stop us from enjoying the park scenery. I'd say I enjoyed other things as well an example: I love the picnic tables, the baseball field, and the fact it's a quite isolated place where I can hear myself think.

Great shady trails that are easily traversed! Trail length is about 1 mile. Great for all ages, even a jogging stroller can be easily pushed down the trails. Playground is perfect for younger aged kids and there's a climbing structure that's good for older ages too. Covered pavilion with picnic tables and a very large field are also present.

Smallish park, cute & short trails, clean playground. My only criticism is that the entrance-playground share a front yard with someone. A little weird maybe, the kicker is that that someone has "blue lives matter" paraphernalia in their yard, which means it's basically in the park too. ‍♀️ Some good some bad. …

No entry fees, Beautiful place to walk around among nature. Walking trails short or long up to you. Bring your drinking water with you. There’s also kids play ground, I took my boys there and they enjoyed playing around. Parking is available free. Restroom available. You can do kayaking too.

People who don't realize that there are nature trails that you can walk with your dogs small children or just as a couple. Just all the way around a good place to release a lot of stress mentally physically and emotionally. Just a good place just to go to reminisce and chill.

I love this place! It's a great park with lots of space to bring my dog and let her run around. The trail complex is well maintained and very peaceful to walk through. The pavilion, bathrooms, and playground are all a huge plus. Highly recommend for a sunny weekend day!

It’s definitely a great place for dogs but it’s also a wonderful place for kids. I bet back when this park was put in it was quite a big deal. The trails are quite fun and go over bridges and up and down hills. Nice for hiking or biking. Canoe and kayak let in as well.

  • June Gutterson

The kayak launch looks good until you look down the creek and see the water is blocked by many small and large trees. The water is NOT flowing in or out, and looks like a drainage ditch. The creek side grass and brush has a lot of trash built up. Very disappointing.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THIS PLACE!!! IT CONTINUES TO SHOW UP FOR A REVIEW. I SIMPLY PASS BY THE PARK AND IT KICKS OUT A REVIEW REQUEST. OTHER PLACES SHOW UP THAT I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO. IT IS INFURIATING. I CAN GET RID OF THE OTHERS BUT THIS PLACE ALWAYS SHOWS UP.

Tomahawk Park is a pleasant little spot in the San Jose neighborhood with a playground, walking trails, a field, a picnic area, and bathrooms. The playground is great for smaller kids and toddlers with swingsets, slides, and a structure to

Middle of town amazing place for walking and running Very peacefully. It’s around 3-4 miles loop trail but has some short trails also. Parking is not a problem here. No entry fee. Carry your own drinking water.

Found this little place on my neighborhood watch app.If your looking to get out of the house for a few hours. I went early afternoon & I encountered mosquitoes on the trail, so bring some spray.

  • Ashli Heeter

Never a bad thing to say about this park. Dog friendly, large space for running around or playing catch, trails, kayak launch to goodby creek, play ground and gazebo for parties!

  • Rona Silber

Really cute simple trail that sections off into multiple mini ones. My dog loved the options and the little rivers that ran under the bridge. Great place to stretch your legs

  • Christina Davis

Nice place to take a walk. Has a playground, benches, and a pavilion. There is a docking station for canoeing but stream seemed small. Plenty of shade and was very relaxing.

  • Ivan Porter

Park is great. Officer that lives on site and locks up "at dusk" is an angry and aggressive individual that intimidates children for no reason and that's sad.

  • The Report

Do not do the trail without mosquito repellant. I got bitten by several large mosquitoes and was miserable by the end of it. I had to carry my son and run.

  • MJ Kellum

This park is beautiful, big and well maintained. We enjoyed or outing and you can pick from several different trails or just play on the playground
