Losco Regional Park has something for everyone! There is a decent size playground, lake with ducks that I've seen ppl fish in, empty fields to play fetch or frisbee with your dog, soccer fields, sidewalks surrounding the park, as well as a 5k wooded trail for walking with or without dogs (leash law, some ppl follow, some don't) and even riding your bike on. The trail is what I come to when I go to the park. There are 3 loops that make a large loop. Red is .7 miles, white 1.5 miles, and a blue trail .7 miles that you must cross a bridge to complete and come back through. Seems that the trails are kept up with for the most part but as we move into the hot weather and growing season they will definitely need to increase the amount of times they trim per month. Red trail is wide and no problem, white trail gets single file and over grown fast, and the blue trail can get even worse. There is a map at the entrance and just a few benches along the way. No trash cans throughout the trails, but there is one at the entrance. There are bathrooms at the park but I have never used them so cannot speak to cleanliness. I believe the hours are from dawn to dusk but don't quote me on that one. Great place for kids, picnics, team sports, fur babies, or a walk or run.
Playground
Seemed clean. The equipment looked like it wasn't too old. But I don't have kids so.....
Dog-friendliness
Very dog friendly. But no dog park. They have the land for it. Only miss that I can see.

This park is very convenient to our neighborhood..within walking distance. The soccer fields are very nice and well kept and it is very nice for walking/running. The problem we see is that there is one major piece of playground equipment that the toddlers can use. The swings are nice but I am 5'2" and could not even get on due to the dug out area beneath the swings. The black spinning wheel was dangerous because of the black liner under it was tripping up the kids. There were younger children trying to work their way up the ropes to the crows nest and getting stuck halfway up. Overall for the toddler with us and the others there in that age group it needs to have the mulch worked on and maybe a few more pieces of equipment for the younger ones.

This is my new favorite park. It has baseball fields, soccer field, splash pad, pond with ducks, walking trails, huge playground, picnic tables and benches. Endless parking all around the park. If you go to the far end of the parking lot, there is 3 walking trails that Intertwine with each other. The trails are easy to follow and well marked. Be careful of tree roots on the ground. The trails weren't busy but the park was full of people of different ages, doing different activities. For someone who walks alone, this park feels safe.
Playground
Water splash pad.
Restrooms
Very clean and stocked. Also has a baby changing station inside.
Dog-friendliness
Dog friendly, must be leashed.

Loco Park is a nice park with some areas that could use some tweeking. There is essentially a ropes course playground set there. If you wanted to start training your kids for American Ninja Warriors, it not a bad place to start. The splash park there has the potential to be decent. There have been some issue with people breaking the water supply lines. I tried hitting the timer (located on top of a small column by the side) but the water did not come on. I am assuming the water spraying from a nearby water line to be the problem. The squirrels seem to be used to humans feeding them cause they were very personal. I was able to get within 4 feet of one. My daughter thought it was awesome.

Take my grandson there all the time. He loves it. They have a lake, you can't swim there though. Walking paths, different distances, and one is a trail through the woods. They have a small water play area too. They have 2 play areas, one for younger kids and one for older kids. They also have plenty of open areas for playing football, soccer, frisbee, or to just run around. they do have restrooms. They have 2 soccer fields, but you have to belong to one of the Florida Elite teams, I think it's one of their game/ practice fields in town. They a swing area with 3 different swings. A pavilion for birthday parties. And lots of old trees to just relax under. Great place to take kids.

I will add photos one day. This park is super cool and fun. It’s pretty large too. Tiny splash pad to cool off is a bonus. There is a really great climber, slide area for the bigger children or courageous young ones. Lots of extras all around. Picnic spaces, benches, swings, modern merry go round, restrooms, drinking fountain and more. We hiked there from about six miles away. Most of the way there are decently put together pathways. The park itself also has a walking path and a huge space for running and playing sports. The actual playground isn’t shaded well but there is a lot of shade around it.

This is a great park for walking & jogging due to the trail in the woods & the paved path along the soccer fields, park & lake. My only complaint is that on Saturday mornings, during the soccer games, a few (entitled) people place their folding chairs ON the paved walking path & watch the soccer games, effectively blocking the way for jogging/walking traffic. Please be aware that this is a public park, not a private backyard in a trailer park. Be courteous of others, pick up your litter & don’t block or hold up traffic on the paved path, mkay :)

  • Asif Mukhida

Always great to be here.. its lively all time.. has picnic area with kids play area.. public restrooms, small lake around which you can walk, a football field and also a trail which I love the most. Anyone interested in trails should definitely visit. It has 3 routes from which you can choose starting from smaller to bigger, longest is I believe 3 miles long. Its little dense and feels like into the woods. Do not forget to have have bugs spray on before coming.. shoes and full bottom recommended. Enjoy!!

This is our favorite local park! The trees are absolutely magical. You can get some great photo opportunities at this park. They recently installed a splash park for the children so this is a great option for a quick getaway on a summer day. This park is great for parties. The pavilion offers shaded seating and a grill which may require a permit or may be based on a first come first serve basis. Not sure. This park has public restrooms. There's a great trail for getting in your daily exercise!

  • Lōs Sanchez

It's a great park. It has baseball and soccer fields. A trail for hiking and a paved walking trail. For the Pokemon goers it's definitely not a bad park to catch some Pokemon. Lol.
Playground
They have a cool little area for the kids to play and they also have a splash zone for those hot days.
Restrooms
There's a building along the path that has pretty clean restrooms.
Picnic area
There's a gazebo next to the playground that's great .

  • Marshall G

What a great park that's fairly close to me and didn't even realize it. They have about 3+ miles of nature trails nestled near the back of this park that's a really nice perk for me and the dog. Also, an amazingly large and unique playground area for families to take their children. Not to mention a few sports fields and various tables, lakes, and covered structures for any given activity you may want while being there. Really will come back again

  • John Mainardi

Always enjoyable early in the AM. Very few people and can walk the dogs in peace. Great playground for the kids. Very nice covered area for grilling and just enjoying a family fun day.
Playground
Great Kids area playground . Lots to do.
Dog-friendliness
Very large outer areas to be able to play freely with your dogs. They can run like crazy.
Picnic area
Grills on site. Small but useful. Great for family cookouts.

  • Ceci Hassan

I come here often for my kids’ soccer games. First the soccer fields, they have a full size turf field and it is in good shape and well Maintained. The grass fields are also in good condition. The bathrooms are public bathrooms and not the worst I have seen. I try to avoid public bathrooms at all cost. I like that the park part has trails and lots of trees. Also, this is a dog friendly park - except for the soccer fields.

  • Lauren Reed

Awesome playground with splash park. All of the playground equipment is brand new. There is a pavilion and a bathroom near the playground. There are two soccer fields and an oak covered, paved walking path that take you around the park. There are also 3 miles of nature trails. There is .7 loop, a 1.5 mile loop or the full 3 miles. Trails are well maintained so that tye jogging stroller can handle traversing the paths.

  • Kay Rodriguez

Losco Regional Park is such a cute park! There are a few walking paths that have different turns, winds and intricacies with a park in the middle and a pond to sail boats and watch ducks. I like the community feel of this park too. It’s very tranquil, and the people are very friendly here from what I found. Great park for taking a walk with the family (and the dog) or throwing a children’s birthday party!

  • Florida Born

The main play set is geared more towards older kids. There isn't much to do for toddlers or 4 and even some 5 and 6 year olds. There is a splash pad...nice for a quick cool off (can be quite slippery and is close to the retention pond). There are beautiful trees for climbing or taking pictures. And there is lots of room to run around. The bathrooms are gross, but that is to be expected at a public park.

  • Jacqueline Mays

This is pretty cool spot for kids ages 2-12 has a decent size splash pad. Visited this park 7/5/23 10:00am and was not very busy which made it to be a nice park.
Playground
Nice playground for ages 2-12
Restrooms
Restrooms near the ball park.
Dog-friendliness
Seen several dogs in the park please pick up your dogs mess.
Picnic area
Covered pavilion/Picnic Area

  • James Carlos

This is a great park. It has a playground with good equipment, covered area that can be reserved and a bathroom. It also has soccer fields but we didn't spend time over there. There are large oak trees that shade part of the park. Not many people know about it but there is a nice nature trail. The entrance is off the main road in right before the parking area for the soccer fields.

  • Tate Peterson

First time here it was visually pleasing. There is great play sets here for ages 5-12. A water park that the kids loved. Also great parking, bathrooms are available, and soccer fields. I seen a football team practicing over here. So many different things to do. There is an awesome pavilion with 6 picnic tables and a couple grilled for cooking. Lots of greenery and room to run.

  • Kirstin Horn

Great park! Fun playground for kids complete with a splash park! Nice walking trails through the woods. Big fields to run around and play sports. Also, there are soccer fields where some leagues meet. I usually come here to sit by the pond and read with my dog. Also there are lots of beautiful old oak trees that make for lovely picnic spots.

  • Jeri Sherfy

Love the new playground equipment and the water feature is so much fun for the kids. FYI the large slide is super fast! Don't let your little one's on it. Council Member fir Dist 6 Matt Schellenberg was out there getting feedback from park goers. It was all positive and I was impressed that he did that. Great fun and a beautiful park!

  • Paul Combs

Beautiful campus with everything you want from a good park. The play ground for the young ones, fields, courts, and open spaces for multiple sports. Walk paths around the park and trails if you want to be more off road.
Restrooms
Restrooms are available. They are maintained well enough. Let's just say they get the job done.

  • Cynthia McKnight

This is a well appointed park with playground, picnic pavilions, restrooms, fields, even a small splash pad for the little kids. There's a 3 trail loop that's well marked and mostly shaded. When we were there we saw walkers, groups playing soccer and flag football and families using the pic nic tables. Great neighborhood park!

  • James Perry

Needs a fence around the pond. Other than that it's a perfect place. Has big shady oaks large grassy areas. Swings mulched play areas bathrooms paved parking lots and a seasonal splash pad. Also you can reserve the picnic area for parties. I had a bounce house party for my son there with a permit. The number is on that sign.

  • Dee

Nice park with a splash area, Gazebos, concrete walking trail, old oaks that provide nice shade on certain areas, the play equipment for the kids in directly in the sun which makes most of the equipment quite hot after noon time

Playground: Yes
Public restrooms: Yes
Picnic tables: Yes
Barbecue grills: Yes

  • A B

We love our neighborhood park. The trees are beautiful. Nice playground. Splash park was a great addition this year. The trail in the woods is a great activity in the shade. Lots of walking path with this. Soccer fields well maintained. 4 stars because it needs basketball or baseball options and the space is available.

  • Michelle Drackert

Huge park! Covered pavilion with lots of picnic tables, large selection of playground equipment (great for ones that like to climb high up), and a pond (close to playground so watch your littles). Parking is unpaved and scarce compared to the size of the park, but they have a new parking area under construction

  • John Mainardi

Great park. Quiet and wonderful for kids or to walk the dogs. Plenty of benches to sit and relax after walking the 1/2 mile putter rim of the lake. Full sidewalks around perimeter. Huge pavilion with tables for parties and great water feature for the kids or pets to cool off on a hot day. A+ rating for sure.

  • Theresa Beever

Beautiful park, lots of walking paths, welcoming Today there was soccer games, dog walking, kids playing a baby shower and as I was leaving I found a dog training group. It was a great day at this clean well taken care of park. Bathrooms were pretty good for a park environment with tons of kids to be there.

  • Jerald Smith

This park is great! I've been bringing my kids here for over 15 years now. The kids area has been updated within the last few years and a water play area was added, great for those hot Summer days! It's a nice place to have a picnic under the Oak trees, ride a bike, play football or walk/bike the trail.

  • Chan Duo

Love this place, Great park to enjoy your day, walk n the trail, relaxing for pic nic , even if you have just a couple hours or less, with family, doggie or alone, clean and peaceful environment, also group activities are allowed.. Such as Zumba, birth day celebration..ect..❤️

  • Becky Prew

Great park and great outdoor area with a splash pad. Lots of fields, trails, trees, covered pavillon. My only statement is the playground equipment is definitely aimed at older children, probably for ages 5 and up. My toddlers struggle with some things here. They still have fun though!

  • Laura D

Great place to walk for exercise, enjoy some live oaks, and bring the kids. Also has water sprinklers for those hot summer days, a pavilion with picnic tables, water fountains, bathrooms, and a few grills. Oh and aids I mention a soccer field and swing sets? Small park but love it!

  • Demetrius Jenkins

They added a smaller kid playground to join the already great play systems! Then there's the splash park (which appears to be working again as of 6/2/2022), trails (off road and paved) and soccer fields. Nice oak tree covered areas for recouping during the sunset or a picnic.

  • Anastasiia Maistrenko

It was amazing place for toddlers. They installed new playground this year and it is for kids 5+. For toddlers they left only one small slider and few swings, almost nothing. If your kids 5+, it wull be great playground for them, if they are smaller don't waste your time.

  • Paula Baickle

There's a nice big picnic area that's covered. You need to reserve it if you want to make sure you'll get it. There is a great playground with all new equipment and really nice little water park for little kids. Are a big trees and lots of grass for kids run around on

  • Truth B. Told

Great little splash pad. Big, fun and challenging play equipment. Lots of open space to run and play. Big soccer field next to it. Small pond for fishing with kids (idk if that's legal. ...) plenty of parking. The climbing trees are the highlight for all my kids.

  • Amy Pierson

Nice Park! New playground equipment- picnic area should be sanitized down more often along with playground... my kids seem to get colds most times when we visit in the colder months. Sanitize people! Otherwise funn place for kiddos with a splash pad :-))

  • Roxanne Kelly

This is the best place to come with little ones and older ones. The black man that fixes the splash pad is so so so so so good to the kids! He's funny gentle and kind!! I haven't run into anyone that works for this park that isn't so sweet!!

  • Denise Case

I got bit by a pitbull while walking lasco Park I don't have anything against dogs or animals I just think it's way too many dogs the dog that bit me was on a leash and got away from his master I think you all should make put up a fence to

  • Sarah Kiser

Had a great walk here. There are paved sidewalks to walk with a stroller (but they're mostly in the sun) and nice shaded dirt trails for carrying a baby. The playground area is very crowded with a lot of noise, but the splash pad is dope!!!

  • Krystal S.

It's a nice place to sit on a lunch break. There are soccer fields but they are for Elite members only, so non-elite members can't use them at all. There is some playground equipment, and it is well-shaded, so it's a good place for young

  • Daryl Williams

The splash pad was not working so I had to call the city for someone to come out and turn it on. No biggie. But the place was trashed. Im guessing a party that was held the day before. Trash and clothing all over the playground. I mostly

  • Alyssa Hope Byrd

I love this park, because it's my only reprieve from "city" life right now. But beware the other park-goers here. A lot of them are rude & judgemental as hell. Just keep your distance and you'll be good. It's a beautiful park, after all.

  • Michael Gunsolus

My children love it friendly crowd for the most part clean bathrooms nuc sized pavilion for weekend cook outs and birthday partys have done Easter day cook out and easter egg hunt recently been redone with new playground and splash pad

  • Marquis Baker

I take my son here often has plenty of space to ride bikes, scooters, etc... The playground is one of the best in the city with lots of older oak trees which provide shade on hot days. In the summer the park also provides a splash pad.

  • Ashawna Peoples

Perfect place to bring children, walk your dog, or just have a party with friends outdoors. There is a big playground with swings and a soccer field further down the road. There are also multiple walking trails and tons of huge trees.

Really nice spot to walk around and get some fresh air (with or without the little ones). It's a pretty large park with a pond and nature trails. It also has athletic fields and tons of open space. So much space for activities.

  • Mike DiClemente

The kids loved the playground, especially the tall slide. The “splash pad” was very popular with other guests. There were also some hiking trails in the back behind the soccer fields that we’d like to go back and visit.

Great park. Its been updated and is definitely meant for older kids, especially ones that love to climb. It's unique and you can even walk around the playground if you want to exercise while the kids play.

  • Lisa King

Very nice little park, plenty of parking and great slide for the kids. 3 ice cream trucks pulled up while we were there. Couldn’t find the basket ball court that is apparently supposed to be there. …

  • Aaron Schachter

Large outdoor space for pickup soccer or flag football. Small, but fun playground with pirate ship tower at the end of wire ladders. We love the paved pathways for bike rides with the kids.

  • Beccmatic IsAtiT

Beautiful moss oaks. Plenty of shade for the hot sun, and sun for some vitamin D. I will definitely be bringing my hammock for these gorgeous trees. Looks like dogs on a leash are allowed.

  • molly brown

Pro: playground, nice pavilion, small splash area, open fields, walking paths, ice cream truck. Con: bathrooms always smell like pee, fire ants all over, mosquitoes, not a lot of parking.

Great trails, we had a great time riding about 4 miles, with a 5 year old, although all the roots cause a little bit of trouble if you are on training wheels lol.
