There are paved trails and unpaved trails that meander accross the landscape. The paved trails, at last part of them, used to be the cart path for the golf fairways. Currently there is a community center, restrooms, a playground, tennis courts and football/futbol fields all at the park. The first trail you meet on the way in parallels a handful of old fairways and is paved. It culminates in a fishing pier. There is a boardwalk that follows the river and eventually connects to the neighboring Lion's Club Park, however, it was damged by either hurrican Matthew or Irma, or both and is closed off, hopefully only temporarily. Several ponds and marsh areas wind there way alongside the paths. Game trails can be spotted throughout.

Brand new everything. And what I can't believe is how little everyone is mentioning that they just put up 4 BRAND NEW PICKLE BALL COURTS. Everyone seems to think they're tennis courts because the 4 courts are connected and the fencing has the black mesh material, making it hard to see through. The tennis courts are separate and on the north side of the park but on the south side of the pavillon area is where they are, next to the brand new football field.

The trail itself is great for mountain biking. Unfortunately the more tourist/parking areas of this park & the Arlington Lions Club park is decimated with trash & litter. Once you get into the jungle areas of the trails there are many options of difficulty & a nice ride along the pier catwalk. I did enjoy this park & wooded trails, but, as with most of Jacksonville, was saddened by the trash. (Definitely in need of groundskeepers.)I will return.✌

Large park with several sports fields (they were all set for soccer games when I went) and apparently an adjacent golf course? My group kind of shied off to the side since the fields were occupied by pretty large groups, and we weren't there for soccer. Still, nice enough for the dart tag we were there to play. I look forward to going back and exploring it further.

This magnificent sunset along the banks of the St. John's River was the highlight of my evening after two and a half days of nonstop rain. One of my favorite things about this place are the endless number of spots you can stop to take pictures as you make your way along the trail or walk along the shoreline towards the end of the pier.

Very nice park. There is a boardwalk and a nature trail, easy to do anywhere from 1 to 3 miles in walking. The boardwalk has a few areas where the wood is degrading, but there is evidence that when it gets bad enough it will be repaired. Bathroom facilities are down right now, but there are porta-potties available at the main park.

The new field and basketball courts are nice but the trash left behind is disgusting. Unfortunately the playground is no longer fenced in, so it creates an unsafe area for small children unless under constant supervision. Walking my dog there is great til you see all the garbage in the pond and surrounding area.

This is a nice park with lakes supporting wildlife, a golf course, sports facilities and a fishing pier on the St Johns River. Unfortunately, I could not get to the pier on the river as the trail leading to it was underwater following Hurricane Ian. Will come back another time for the view.

We like to go here for the nice paved path that takes you from the entrance all the way down to the dock and boardwalk on the at John's river. There is a nice playground and some soccer fields at the entrance as well. I know there is a golf

Recently moved out this way. I love the park, the bike trails (altho I nearly got lost in the woods due to not so beaten path) there are picnic areas but they haven't been used in quite some time looks like. Love that there are openings and

There's a football field, small playground, golf course, and a walking trail. The trail is paved and good for biking, skating, or walking. There is a pier onto the St. John's river, but its currently closed due to construction.

Good place with lots to do..... When there's not a million people on the fields that is. Great place to bring the kids and a freshwater reel. The golf course is "open" but better to explore nature with the kids.

I love Blue Cypress Park. It's a nice area right on the river. Beautiful sunsets. When I was a child there were camps held here and they were always amazing. There's a pool a golf course and a fishing area.

One of my favorite city parks in Jacksonville.... I truly hope the swimming pool will be rebuilt this coming year 2024 & that a wheelchair lift is installed as well! Absolutely worth the time! More

This park is fantastic! However, it's a small park when you compare it to the other parks in the city. While I enjoyed looking at the park from the water, there were no facilities.

Great veiws, multiple trails to take. At the end there is a landing you can fish from and a small park area with a grassy clearing where you can sit out and picnic, fly kites, etc.

Very quiet. Has walking trails. Dogs welcome. Children park. Play area for sports. Nice lake for electrical play boat and a patio for lunch. Highly recommend.

This park has nice paths to walk around, there are tennis courts, soccer fields, public golf course and a recreation community center.

  • Eugene Delaney

You never know what interesting things you will see...like this abandoned, sinking boat tied up to the fishing pier.

  • Sherri Meadows

Great picturesque Park, really more of a kayak or boat launch. Neiththeless and enjoyable stop for nature's beauty.

  • Anna Heise

Now that ramps have been fixed it's a great place to walk along the river. On good days the dog takes a swim

The beauty isn't just by the park. Follow the concrete path to the river and you'll see. Best sight ever.
