Amazing off the beaten path park. Excellent place to watch the sunrise and even the sunset. There is awesome fishing here and tons of space to spread out and fish. The water is shallow and clear so you can see lots of aquatic life. Very much natural Florida. Be aware the bugs will pick you up and carry you away though.

Nice small non paved boat ramp (I.e. small fishing boats, jet skis, kayaks etc.). Parking is limited at the busiest times but otherwise good. Has a port a potty that is hit and miss on cleanliness. Has good spots to fish without a boat as well. No services are located here but some are within a few miles.

It was calm, the water looked like glass and the tide was bottomed out. The birds kepted it from being peaceful but it was a.growing, swelling noise that rounded out one of God's most extraordinary experiences in one of our most extraordinary places. Fort George inlet.

Good kayak launch spot, but beware of jet skiers as it is a super popular spot for new jet ski owners they're pretty squirrelly. Also the currents around the bridge are swift and swirl like a mfer so be competent of you're paddling out that way.

The park area was nice, but the area where most people fish, was almost constantly being run through by Jet Skis, even the area to the inside of the dock , running through people's lines and cutting their lines. I myself will not return there.

Mark and his Jeep were here. It is a very nice out of the way place -- palm trees, roof over picnic tables, grills, trash receptacles, and port-o-lets. The only thing is beware of the morning no-see-ums.

Perfect spot to fish or launch your boat, jet ski, paddle boards...etc. We did a beach cleanup here and gathered a large pile of bottles, glass, fishing line all within an hour.

Very good location for fishing!! Sand tamp great for kayaks and canoes. There is a dock, rocks, sand bar, marsh, creeks, bridge pylons, beach… you can find bait there too.

We went to kayak. They have a great place to launch. We went under the bridge toward Huguenot Park. Stopped and rested on sandbars and had a great time. We will be back.

Awesome sand bars to hang out on during low tide Huganut state park/beach right next door with camping. Have had plenty of great times out there during my life.

Don't go here you won't love the beautiful views, cute beach, or the great picnic area. It is really busy on the weekends with jet skis and canoes.

  • Russell Fisher

Apparently people made the gazebo a shelter camp, broken down cars in the parking lot. No one bothered me but seriously. This is a public Park.
