Even though I had called with questions and was encouraged to come in, when I arrived I felt very unwelcome. I was disregarded while the three staff persons chatted ( there were no other customers) and then once spoken too (I felt only because I had not left the store) it was not in a friendly or particularly courteous manner. I felt I was being discriminated against somehow ( talked down to, dismissed) as I am older and not slim perhaps. A relative in the business said I was probably judged as not affording the place. If so they are very silly people as they are losing sales ( and I hope commissions too!) All my jewelry, as is my china and a lot more, is from Birks from when Birks was a very nice and good store. Needless to say I shopped elsewhere for my ring that day at a wonderful place with awesome quality and courteous and welcoming staff. I have fond memories of Christmas shopping at Birks and all our blue boxes Christmas Day. Those days are no more.

I am so delighted to be Maison Birk's client! Their jewellery is so elegant and elite! I had the pleasure to deal with both Calgary branches; In Market mall and Chinook Centre! Mr. Sukesh ( Market mall) and Marianna ( Chinook centre), they were both amazing to deal with! They are efficient, positive, polite and very welcoming and cooperative!! Besides the whole team in both branches who are very positive! I bought a Birks watch years ago. It included free lifetime battery replacements. Every couple of years I'd stop in for 10 minutes and leave with a new battery.... Until today. They now send them to Montreal with a 6 to 12 week turnaround. They sell watches and can't (won't) take the back off..... So, now I'll spend $ 10 elsewhere every couple years.... and never cross a Birks threshold again....

Had a great experience here buying wedding bands for my fiancée and me. Sukesh provided exceptional service, making arrangements to get the bands in faster and reaching out regularly to update us on the progress of our orders. Would definitely recommend this location, and particularly Sukesh, for anyone buying wedding/engagement jewelry.

The service here is wonderful. Each jeweler is very knowledgeable and friendly. My husband and I bought out wedding bands with the help of Sukesh. I am also able to stop by regularly to have my rings cleaned and every time I am greeted by name. Would recommend shopping here for any wedding collection as well as other items :)

Dianna, Soukesh, and Lana are a super team. They are exceptionally helpful and genuinely kind people. My husband purchased a gorgeous cushion cut diamond for me from Birks market mall. The service we received was amazing ! All their jewelers were attentive, knowledgeable and professional. As well the diamond is stunning and was good value for its quality. Would highly recommend Birks jewelers!
