"Writing this review in my second visit"
"Best Cafe in Temple Bar! I would highly recommend stopping here for an Irish Coffee"
"Nice setting and friendly wait staff"
"I've been here twice, and both times I was told that something on the menu wasn't available"
"Very bad place"
Writing this review in my second visit. I always looked through the window and it always interested me. One day, we came in and had a rich toasty. The presentation of it was super intelligent (It was cut in quarters, coming with a salad with dressing) and delicious. The coffee and hot chocolate were nice, nothing to complain about it. The barista was friendly, helpful and served us really well. It's a place that I think of when I want to study or work. A little bit pricey but it is comfortable, with nice service and food. Visits will be more regular.
Best Cafe in Temple Bar! I would highly recommend stopping here for an Irish Coffee. My sister and I went back several times during our stay in Dublin. Great atmosphere and nice staff. We also ended up running into the owner at a pub one evening and chatted with him for a while - he was incredibly kind and takes a lot of pride in this cafe! Definitely check it out!

Nice setting and friendly wait staff. Average city centre prices. American breakfast was tasty, but the breakfast "panini" was grim. An untoasted baguette with a depressing display of a single uncut sausage, strip of bacon and an egg placed loosely on top with a smattering of melted cheese. The relish mentioned on the menu was provided once we asked for it, otherwise it would have been dry bread. If a photo of one made it to Reddit there'd be a pitchfork sale. Sort it out folks...
I've been here twice, and both times I was told that something on the menu wasn't available. First time was around Christmas and it was port or mulled wine (why advertise it in the window if you're all out of it?); second time we were told they had no gluten-free bread, despite it being listed on the menu. When my celiac friend asked for her meal without bread, she was served it with regular bread. Just not a good place, better off trying Queen of Tarts or Joy of Cha nearby.
Very bad place. My strawberry cake was frozen, the server tell "It's normal, we wait until the cake thaw" but they serve it to me and make me pay for it. My girlfriend's cheesecake was frozen too (and doesn't even looks like a chees cake...) We both got sick after our tea time there. The menue was talking of 20 hot chocolate variety but we didn't got any choice... To finish it's quiet expensive...
They had great chocolate cake and friendly staff once so went back, for the last time. One large americano, one reg hot chocolate , one tea and 2 millionaire slice cost € 28. The cake was awful, really hard and cold and tasteless, coffee was mid at best: Hot choco nice . Pity it’s a nice venue, but a disappointing effortless joyless experience now .

A good bar/cafe in the middle of the town in Temple Bar area. Good location, not far away from the river Liffey. I can’t say that the prices is low, I payed 9€ for Irish coffee. It was delicious and I enjoyed it. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. There is a WC.

prices for the food are lower for Temple Bar destrict. The sheperd's pie and the soup we had was part of a cheap menu. The food was fine. Can not say a bad thing about. considering the price, we were lucky to find this place. The service was slow, that is true. But if you dont rush anywhere, it it just fine. The staff was very nice. Overall nice experience here. I would recomment it.
Door kept being left open letting in cold air. Soup was warm and tasty. Han and cheese was standard. Tea was nice and hot for the weather. Staff was excellent if a bit busy.

Lack of customer service. Waiters do not come to the table to take the orders, you have to do it by yourself. Their cakes are awful and expensive. We had a piece of red velvet cake that tasted like plastic and was €6. It’s definitely not the place to have a good cup of coffee and cake, it’s a tourist trap. Avoid it. Go to the Queen of Tarts.
Love this place for an early breakfast, staff is excellent, food is great (full Irish/American) good coffee and ace location to kick off a nice day in town. The prices are very fair for that location and quality (full irish/latte 15 euro March 2023)

Went here first morning of a short break on Dublin. Found this place not far from our hotel. Had the full Irish breakfast and a latte, others in the party had the pancakes. Enjoyed it so much we went back the next day.

My first vist to Dublin and as i walked around Temple bar this mature music lover came upon the Brick Alley cafe. What a great place to sit down on a Friday evening, have a Guinness, what else, and and sing along to the the two great musicians. Thanks Bill,(the mandolin player),for the warm welcome .Highly recommended.
Good music. Good hot chocolate. But I would’ve like to have had a menu to look at. Just when I asked for a tea I was held a paper with the teas they had. And the jasmin tea could’ve been better. But I’ll still come back to try the breakfast

We popped in during Trad Fest because it was absolute madness on the streets—quiet inside so we had Prosecco and a sweet. Attentive service and a low-key atmosphere. I wouldn’t say it’s “touristy” — (isn’t most everything in this area) it’s authentic. Nice people.
Although the place is a bit small and crowded, we had a great time. the food was great quality, and we didn't have to wait a lot to get our food. The menu is varied, although I missed the poached eggs as a brunch offering! All in all, it is a good place to go!
Took 20 minutes to order and receive a take out Irish coffee - very expensive at €9.50. Staff were rude and not apologetic at all for the long wait. At least the coffee tasted good after all that time

Good price for value in a cosy place with cool playlist in the background! Kind and friendly staff that made my experience very pleasant and I definitely recommended. My veggie breakfast was really good (eggs, toasts, beans, mushrooms, peppers, tomatos).
What a find! Intimate little spot in the heart of Temple Bar serving tasty breakfast grub and piping hot coffee for a sensible price. Far better than "The Best Breakfast in Dublin" over the road, will surely become a regular here for my trips to Dublin.
This is a little gem. Almost next door to the expensive Temple Bar. Great pint of Guinness and a great Irish Stew. Staff helpful and welcoming. Nobody should leave Ireland without having an Irish Stew.

Dismiss the old reviews!!!! This place has changed for the better. It has a very nice atmosphere. Sometimes has live music. The staff are very friendly. It’s a lovely place to have a drink if you don’t feel like being in an obnoxious pub.
Love this place! I usually have a Baileys hot chocolate here. It’s such a cosy vibe, right in the middle of the city and open late. Couldn’t recommend it enough

Very bad service. Went here and it wasnt busy at all. Waited an hour for our food and when we asked when it was coming they said they had lost the order. They on top of that didnt even apologise. It was also very small and squishy.
Good place just to stop and rest from your day. Not very busy during afternoon. Little slow service.

Veggie breakfast was lovely
Service was great, food was reasonably priced for Dublin. My friend said the Vegetarian breakfast was amazing. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the cheesecake base was rock solid.
Had a few drinks and irish coffee over lovely conversation and electrifying atmosphere charged with great music

Salad was really quite poor, it says it comes with a selection of breads but came with none until I asked. Also not worth 8 euro.
Cozy place, staff was friendly and the coffee was good. The food wasn't worth the prize, I would only go here for the coffee.
Tourist trap… charging „custom amount“ of 24 Euros for 4cl of jameson…

Poor breakfast dishes and so expensive for what it is. Plus, the workers weren’t nice at all. I will definitely not repeat.
Most of the dishes on the menu were not available. After waiting half an hour for the soup we paid for the drinks and left.

Stopped in for a quick pastry on our way to Guinness Storehouse tour. Fab service, tasty food at a reasonable price.
Slow, slow service. Cooks can't keep up with orders. Wait staff are okay but food is average. I wouldn't go back.
Great little coffee house just a few doors up from Temple Bar. Nice presentation on the coffee and cakes.
Great place and good staff. Just be sure to order your food /cafe in the bar. There's no table service.
Nice and cute Café right in the heart of temple bar. Staff is alright, the Cafe is very tiny though!
Very friendly dude, delicious cheesecake and a good milkshake. Would really like to come here again.
A very cosy place to have a Guinness or a coffee. Friendly personnel, specially Mademoiselle Eva.
Had a non-alcoholic Guiness which was great. Very very hospitable bartender and waitress …
Waiting so far almost 3/4 of an hour for a pot of tea and a panini.... Its a joke …

12 euro for a single pour of well whiskey: 3x other bars. Central location and live music.
The cakes were average for the price and the customer services was awful. Not coming back.
YUM! Best carrot cake and lovely setting for people watching. Happy helpful team too.
Amazing place in the heart of Temple Bar, great coffee, tasty food and friendly staff
Very friendly and clean cafe in a busy spot! Coffee lovely, nice relaxed atmosphere.
Not to many immediate choices for breakfast. Quick review, time to go I'm hearing :)
They didn't have any of the beers from the menu, hot chocolate was nice in fairness.

Very generous portion size of cake! I had the carrot cake and it was delicious.

Busy wee place but the staff had time for everyone. A nice cup of tea!
Nice place with big variety of products, from Irish coffee to beer.
Rude, overpriced and slow. Cake was dry and came with wrong order
Really good coffee and sandwiches, un the middle of Temple bar.
